Today, on April 2nd, Destiny 2 gets a visit from the mysterious Xur. Where the tentacle bearer is hiding this Easter and whether his exotic gifts will put a smile on the Guardians’ faces is revealed by MeinMMO. Here are all the details about his inventory and location. After that, we’ll take a look at the Trials of Osiris.
This concerns the players: The Destiny week was supposed to start with a new strike for everyone, butnot all Guardians were able to play the fresh mission “Test Site” everywhere. Bungie had to explain itself, and the players started throwing accusations. The mission also made waves because it suddenly mutated from a mocked, short strike to the hardest mission in Destiny 2.
Then there was an unusual race: The gunsmith Banshee-44 offered a mod that has a drop chance of less than 1%. However, few Guardians could take advantage of the offer, as the new update 3.1.1.2 came with maintenance and a server downtime in between.
Bungie has also announced how they want to revise the most hated perks on the rarest weapons:
All information about Xur on April 2nd, 2021 – PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Google Stadia
When does Xur come? Due to the time change, Xur’s visit is now scheduled for 7 PM German time on April 2nd. He will remain there until the next weekly reset on March 30th and sell his exotic items to interested Guardians.
What does Xur have on offer? Does Xur care about earthly holidays? He has a weapon exotic with him and also brings one exotic armor for the Warlock, Hunter, and Titan each, promised. MeinMMO takes a look at the status values and prices of his Easter offer.
Where is Xur? This is his location this weekend
Xur’s position: You will find Xur this week on Nessus. Look in the area “Guardian’s Grave” on the tree.
Xur’s position on Nessus (Barge)
Xur’s inventory from 02.04. to 06.04. – All exotics at a glance
Weapon: Arbalest– Linear fusion rifle for 29 legendary shards
Which map is active? The endgame PvP mode is played on only one map each week. The current map is Javelin-4.
Javelin-4
Additionally, the Trials are particularly worthwhile over Easter: In the new “Seasonal Challenge” you will find this week the mission to win 7 rounds in the Trials (not matches). As a guaranteed reward, one of the coveted Trials weapons will pop out. If you have time this week, you are allowed to complete the task this whole Season 13 until May 11.
With 3 wins or with the endgame bounty you will get: Astral Horizon (shotgun)
5 wins reward you with the new chest armor
5 wins reward you with the new gauntlets
In the flawless chest waits Astral Horizon as a master version
When do the Trials run? The Trials begin today, April 2nd at 7 PM and end with the weekly reset on April 6th at 7 PM.
Are you diving into the fray and making an impact in the Trials of Osiris? Or did Xur bring exactly the exotic you were missing? Let us know in the comments.

The Twitch streamer Ashley Roboto (25) made an announcement to her channel’s viewers, telling them not to come off as stupid just because she plays games like Kingdom Hearts 3 on the “Easy” difficulty level. This sparks a big discussion. Is there a right way to play and a wrong way?
This is the streamer’s announcement: The 25-year-old Canadian makes a clear statement to viewers on Twitter. She won’t let anyone get on her nerves because she wants to play “Kingdom Hearts 3” peacefully and without stress, choosing the easiest difficulty level to enjoy the story and the game.
Anyone who comes at her with nonsense will be thrown out of her chat with a suplex. She says:
“Let people play games however they want. Are you really attacking me because I want to play a game that’s notorious for its convoluted story calmly to see the cutscenes, listen to the dialogues, figure out what the lore is about, and just enjoy the game?
Not everyone wants to play games to get angry and suffer. […] Stop telling people how they should play games. It’s so boring!”
“If you want to play like that, just watch a movie”
This is how the clip is received: The video now has almost a million views on Twitter. Apparently, Ashley Roboto hit a sore spot here.
It’s clear that the discussion is quite controversial. Some people simply cannot understand how someone can play a game on “Easy”:
For some gamers, playing on “Easy” is unacceptable – “Normal” is the lowest point of negotiation. They emphasize that they usually play on “Very Hard”
One wonders what fun a game can even have if you play it on “Easy” since there is no challenge at all.
Those who play on “Easy” to enjoy the story of a game aren’t looking to play a game at all, they would rather watch a movie, says another user.
A Twitter user says: “Those who play on Easy will fail later in life” – that’s close to the famous Karl Lagerfeld quote, “Those who play on Easy have lost control of their life.”
A standard recommendation is “Git gud” – just get better.
“Twitch viewers want to dictate to streamers how to play correctly”
However, there are also people who share the streamer’s view. They say:
It’s totally strange that some gamers believe games are only made for people who “work hard and invest a lot of time” – gaming is a hobby. Some just want to relax and chill – and that’s perfectly fine.
Another user says he plays games on “Very Easy” because it saves him time. While others spend 100 hours on a game, he’s already progressed further and completed two new games.
The site Polygon also supports the streamer. Polygon quotes Twitch streamer Nikatine, who makes it a “male-female” thing.
She says it’s primarily a problem for female streamers that their fans demand they play games “in a certain way.” The fans would explain to them what’s wrong. Nikatine says she plays dumb on purpose just to mock the fans.
She says she would, in Elite Dangerous, say: “Oh dear, it’s so dark in space – when does the sun come out?”
The streamer Nikatine makes a joke out of pretending to be silly to mock “backseat gamers.”
Streamer blizzb3ar says viewers even dictate to him what the “right way” is to play the sandbox game Stardew Valley. Women often have the problem of not being perceived as “real gamers.”
There is the phenomenon of “backseat gaming”: this is when viewers play the know-it-alls and explain to the actual player what they are doing wrong.
The streamer Ashley Roboto seems to have used the viral clip for good. In her first stream after the viral Twitter clip, she had five times as many viewers as before.
However, not every Twitch streamer shares Ashley Roboto’s view that games should be taken lightly. The streamer with the most followers on Twitch has a completely different approach:

Call of Duty: Warzone was supposed to have attack helicopters by now, which would allow occupants to fire at enemy soldiers on the ground. But it just seems not to happen. The helicopters have already been introduced to the game for the second time and were removed again after just a few hours.
What’s going on? Those who want to progress quickly in Call of Duty: Warzone take one of the many vehicles that can be found on the large map “Verdansk”. You have the choice between:
poorly armored buggies and ATVs
sturdy SUV family cars
armored trucks and helicopters
However, this selection should actually look different by now. Warzone would like to replace the standard helicopter with an attack helicopter. It has miniguns for its occupants on the sides and could save you a lot of ammo if it were to stay in the game a bit longer.
Yet the battle royale still fails to bring the helicopter into the game cleanly and without bugs on the second attempt.
Warzone: Attack helicopter makes players invisible
What’s the problem? The new helicopters were actually planned as content for the integration of Black Ops Cold War into Warzone. When the Season 1 went online on December 16, 2020, it quickly became clear that the new vehicles were heavily bugged.
The thing became a favorite for cheaters because with a glitch players could become invisible. And I mean really invisible. The invisible ones were not even visible to their own team and the victims had no chance.
The cheater helicopter went offline just 33 hours after its release in December 2020:

In the tweet from back then, it says: “The attack helicopter has been temporarily removed […]. The vehicle will return once the associated problems have been resolved.”
Two and a half months later, the renewed attempt. With the Mid-Season Update of Season 2, the attack helicopters returned to the game, along with possibly the old glitch:

This time, the helicopter lasted a little longer than in December 2020: A total of 35 hours the attack helicopters were in CoD Warzone before the developers replaced the cheater heli with the normal variant:

The second attempt to bring the heli into the game has therefore failed brutally. In total, the attack helicopter was not even 70 hours in the game. If you have tried that thing, you can count yourself lucky – not many players have likely had that experience yet.
Warzone just can’t shake some bugs
Since the release, there have been many crazy glitches in Warzone. The major free-to-play shooter attracts exploiters like a magnet, but many of the bugs often disappear quickly and remain only an unpleasant memory:
However, there are two bugs that come up again and again: invisibility and the nasty stim glitch. Over and over, unfair players find a way to trick the mechanics in the game or produce bugs that give significant advantages over us average players.
What will happen with the attack helicopter now remains unclear for the time being. The fix is back on the developers’ “to-do” list, but without a concrete timeline. It may take a while before the third attempt begins. For according to a current leak, the developers might be busy with the completion of Verdansk 2.0.

The Trickster or Assassin is the agile melee fighter in Outriders. MeinMMO presents a build by YouTuber NickTew that allows you to level up quickly and reach the endgame fast.
What can the Assassin do in Outriders? The nimble assassin manipulates space and time, can teleport, and slow down enemies. He heals himself by killing enemies in close combat. His strength lies in quickly taking out individual enemies.
In this article, we present a build for the assassin, originating from YouTuber Nick Tew. (via YouTube) The Trickster build is designed to level up quickly and reach the endgame. You can even continue to use it in the endgame until you find better gear.
Assassin Build – Skill Tree, Abilities, and Gear
These perks are needed: NickTew focuses entirely on the assassin subclass of the skill tree in his build. Here you mainly get bonuses on weapon damage. The ability Twisted Rounds, which this build is based on, is also enhanced.
With the assassin’s perks, you have a wide selection and can choose according to your preferences and available equipment. Some perks, such as “Weapon Trickery,” “Death Probability,” or “Unexpected End,” appear multiple times. You should choose these every time.
Here you can see the skill tree of the assassin. Focus on the assassin subclass.
These perks are needed for the Trickster build
Here are the essential perks of the build:
Weapon Trickery: +15 % weapon damage at short range
Death Probability: Increases weapon damage by +8 %
Weapon Trickery: Increases weapon damage at short range by +15 %
Mastery: Shotguns – +20 % damage with shotguns (of course, only if you are using shotguns)
Outrider Executioner: Activating mobility abilities increases weapon damage by +50 % for 8 seconds
Mobility abilities are skills like Hunt The Prey (Level 4) or Borrowed Time (Level 13)
Devastating Firepower: Activating deception abilities increases your weapon damage by +50 % for 8 seconds.
Unexpected End: When you attack enemies from behind, weapon damage increases by +20 %
Strange Growth: Increases the magazine size by +50 %
Expert: Here you can choose between +12 % damage for assault weapons (assault rifles, submachine guns, etc.) or +12 % damage for shotguns
Cold Calculation: For each enemy at close range, weapon damage increases by +8 %
Once you have selected these perks, you have 5 skill points left to distribute as you wish.
The perks Devastating Firepower and Outrider Executioner are particularly important. Alternatively, you can also choose Sprout of Power. This perk has the same effect for damage abilities, but in this build the choice fell on Devastating Firepower.
The choice is important and also determines the skills you need for the build.
These skills fit best with the Trickster build
For the road to endgame, NickTew recommends the following skills:
Hunt The Prey: Teleports you behind a target and gives you a shield bonus.
Venator’s Knife: Throws an energy blade at your enemies. Upon hitting, it deals damage, jumps to up to 5 enemies in the vicinity, marks them, and slows down marked enemies for 10 seconds. The first hit target takes double damage.
Twisted Rounds: Fills your magazine with anomaly ammunition that deals significantly more damage.
By constantly activating Venator’s Knife and Hunt The Prey, the perks Devastating Firepower and Outrider Executioner remain active. This allows you to trigger the bonuses repeatedly.
In conjunction with Twisted Rounds, you gain even more damage bonuses and can deal massive amounts of damage.
Weapons, Armor, Mods
This is his equipment: Basically, you have the freedom to choose. However, NickTew advises against rifles. In close combat, it’s not advisable to rely on precision. Enemy groups would overwhelm you, which is why ranged weapons are not a good choice.
Generally, automatic weapons and shotguns are very well suited for the build. More important are the modifications you choose.
Armor Mods: Definitely focus on mods that enhance the skill Twisted Rounds. For everything else, you have the freedom to choose what you need.
Weapon Mods: Here, too, you have a generous selection, but there is one mod that is particularly recommended – Perpetuum Mobile.
This level 2 mod allows you to restore ammunition by killing enemies. This means you basically never have to reload.
This keeps Twisted Rounds from running out, as the skill only goes on cooldown when you need to reload.
You have a permanent damage buff from this, as the skill is always active.
What attributes are recommended on the equipment? Here you should focus on weapon damage and close combat damage.
Here is the video for the build:

The Call of Duty: Warzone received a hefty 50GB update and showed rather sparse patch notes. Those familiar with Warzone know – there are again secret changes, and indeed, that’s the case. Some of the best weapons now require different strategies. MeinMMO presents the known adjustments and suggests new setups.
The mid-season update for Season 2 came on March 31 and brought some changes to Call of Duty: Warzone, as well as a reduction of file size by nearly 10 GB. Compared to the size of nearly 50 GB, the patch notes seem rather clear. It mentions, among other things:
A nerfed AUG
Adjustments to certain attachments
New ping options on the map
However, there is little to indicate that there were comprehensive adjustments to strong weapons. Aside from the note that the AUG is supposed to have increased recoil. But it turns out that some of the currently best weapons now require different setups due to “secret” changes. If you do not adjust your attachments, you will enter the fight with an unnecessary disadvantage. Therefore, MeinMMO shows you which weapons now require different setups and whether they still belong among the best.
The information comes from various videos by Warzone experts, which we compile in this article. If you want to make your own picture, you can find the English videos in the sources below.
AUG nerf disappoints – changes barely felt
How does the nerf affect? Looking at the first experiences with the AUG after the patch, the developers may need to revisit this. The tactical rifle is still strong and the slight change in recoil makes it weaker at very long ranges, yet it can still dominate at the important medium distances.
Should I change anything in the setup? There is not much you need to be aware of with the AUG. If you have used the most common setup, everything remains the same:
Warzone: AUG setup after mid-season 2
Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
Barrel: 18.2″ Task Force
Scope: Axial Arms 3x
Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
Magazine: 45 Round Drum
M16 needs a new magazine
How does the nerf affect? The M16 is the second tactical rifle from Cold War, which is currently extremely strong in Battle Royale. After the initial analyses, there was no real nerf for the M16, but more of a fix. Because the “Fast Fire-60 Round Magazine” now lowers your ADS values, and it takes you significantly longer to aim, which compromises the weapon’s mobility.
Should I change anything in the setup? Replace the fixed magazine. Instead, opt for one of the magazines that only increases capacity but does not improve your reload speed. With the “STANAG 60 Round” you still have the large magazine and fewer penalties to your aim down sights time.
Warzone M16 setup after mid-season 2
Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
Barrel: 15.9″ Task Force
Scope: Axial Arms 3x
Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
Magazine: STANAG 60 Round
FFAR 1 remains top-tier – with new magazine and barrel
How does the nerf affect? So far it seems that nothing has happened to the weapon itself. The changes are also limited to attachments. On one hand, the “Fast Fire-50 Round Magazine” has been fixed, which, like the M16, now comes with only benefits and no disadvantages. Moreover, the popular barrel “20.3” Access” no longer provides an increase in bullet speed, which is very important for Cold War weapons in Warzone. The FFAR remains very strong.
Should I change anything in the setup? Change your barrel and replace the magazine. The weapon will continue to perform at a high level and will not disappear from the meta for now. You could use the “STANAG 50 Round” for the magazine and the “19.5” Special Forces” for the barrel. Overall, this makes the weapon slightly weaker. You reload slower and your sideways movements while aiming (strafing) are slower.
Warzone FFAR 1 setup after mid-season 2
Muzzle: Agency Muzzle Brake
Barrel: 19.5″ Special Forces
Stock: Looters Stock
Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
Ammunition: STANAG 50 Round
MAC-10 benefits from new ADS bonuses
What happened to the MAC-10? The update changed many of the barrels and fixed some attachments. This includes some of the previously useless grips. Not all have been fixed, but occasionally you can now shorten your aim time with the grips. Very strong for submachine guns like the MAC-10, which remains a good choice in Warzone.
Should I change anything in the setup? For the MAC-10, it may be worth it to attach a new barrel and try one of the grips. The 5th barrel (6.5″ pulled) gives you the maximum benefit in range, and with the Speed Tape, you will aim faster. Overall, the MAC-10 becomes slightly more mobile and you may like it even more than before. However, the bullet speed does decrease overall.
Warzone MAC-10 setup after mid-season 2
Muzzle: Agency Muzzle Brake
Barrel: 6.5″ pulled
Stock: No Stock
Ammunition: STANG 53 Round Drum
Grip: Speed Tape
LMGs need a new barrel
What happened to the LMGs? Previously, the barrels in the second position (usually “Ulan-Barrel”) were considered the best choice for LMGs because they provided the greatest bonus to bullet speed. This was not obvious for a while. When Cold War was integrated into Warzone, the description of these barrels read: “Increases vehicle damage”. Now the description is back, and indeed, the barrels in the second position of many “Cold War” weapons now increase damage to vehicles – not just for LMGs.
The Warzone expert “TheXclsuiveAce” had been experimenting and found that you only need about 50 shots with the Stoner 63 to disable a truck. Previously, around 100 shots were necessary. This could become a strong alternative against vehicles, but it remains to be seen how players will respond.
However, this also means that the Ulan-barrels are no longer the best choice for LMGs. Choose the last barrel (usually “Special Forces-Barrel”) to maximize your bullet speed. A strong Stoner setup now looks like this:
Warzone Stoner 63 setup after mid-season 2
Muzzle: Agency Muzzle Brake
Barrel: 20.3″ Special Forces
Scope: Visiontech 2x
Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
Ammunition: 120 Round
The “Season 2 Reloaded Update” brought extensive changes, many of which were again not mentioned in the patch notes. However, so far it appears that there have not been any significant changes in the general meta. The AUG and M16 are still good options. The FFAR dominates at close range due to its strong time-to-kill. It is quite possible that the developers will soon make adjustments to the weapons to bring the “OP weapons” in line.
In the Live Letter, the director and producer of Final Fantasy XIV, Naoki Yoshida, announced new information about the upcoming Patch 5.5. Additionally, there is now a trailer that you can watch.
In the new Live Letter, producer Yoshida revealed new details about the update. In the upcoming story section, players must prepare for a tough battle. The Telophoroi, led by Zenos and Fandaniel, are causing chaos and devastation in Eorzea.
The combined army of the Alliance seems to be overwhelmed, and things do not look good for the Warrior of Light and his friends. They must all stick together to prevent the end of the world.
You can watch the fresh trailer here. It contains footage from the second part of Patch 5.5:

In the course of the main scenario of 5.5, you will also be able to enter the new dungeon Paglth’an, which is located in the area of the Beast Tribe of the Amalj’aa.
The gear that you receive from the dungeon is also designed to match the look of the Amalj’aa. The new dungeon will support the Trust system and can be entered with NPCs.
The story of Patch 5.5 will be split into two parts. The first part will be released on April 13, and the second will follow at the end of May after the digital Fan Fest (May 15 and 16). This will conclude the story of Shadowbringers and transition to the new expansion Endwalker.
Screenshots of the dungeon Paglth’an
YoRHa – Dark Apocalypse Raid
What’s Coming in Patch 5.5: The third part of the Nier raid is titled “The Tower, Paradigm Breaker.” With this section of the 24-man raid, the story of YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse will be concluded.
In it, players will fight through the tower, some of them knowing it from Nier Automata, and discover the story behind the androids 2B, 2P, and 9S.
In the stream, Yoshida commented that the dev team put a lot of effort into the atmosphere of the raid to make it something special.
The first two Nier raids will also receive an update: the special companions from these raids will now be easier to acquire.
New Trial: Diamond Weapon
What’s Happening in Patch 5.5: The Diamond Weapon will be the last trial from the Woe of Werlyt series. Unlike the previous weapons like Emerald and Ruby, the quest for Diamond is about capturing the weapon rather than destroying it. This is evident from the Japanese naming of the quest.
You will fight against Diamond on a flying platform, and of course, you can fall and die. So you must be careful.
As usual, there will be difficulties in the fight against the Diamond Weapon: Normal and Extreme. In Extreme mode, new weapons (?), a new mount, and a crafting item will drop as rewards.

PS5 Beta Test
Alongside the release of Patch 5.5, the beta test for the PS5 version of FFXIV will also begin. It offers players:
Players who already own FFXIV can directly download the PS5 version. New players have the option to download the PS5 version during the free trial. Participation is open to everyone.
If no major bugs occur, the beta will end quickly, and players will be able to switch to the final version. The upgrade is free for PS4 players of FFXIV.
The connection between the game clients and the servers will also be improved. Here are some official screenshots of the PS5 version:
PC players will also enjoy the high resolution and new UI elements.
Resistance Weapons
The last upgrade for the Resistance Weapons will come with Patch 5.55 at the end of May. However, some new information about it was presented in the Live Letter. Players will be able to explore a new area called Zadnor, located at the border between Bozja and Dalmasca.
This time, no Rank 15 of the Resistance will be required to participate in the content. The new rank cap will be raised to 25. More information includes:
Adjustments for duels
New engagements within the zone
The Resistance Weapons will be slightly better than the weapons from the current epic Eden raid
The secondary stats will be freely selectable
Further content of Patch 5.5
Apart from the major contents mentioned above, Patch 5.5 will also bring a number of smaller updates, adjustments, and fixes. Here’s an overview:
Reconstruction of Ishgard: The work is complete, and now it will be celebrated. Celebrations will happen for one day every 2 days. On the day of celebration, events will occur every 2 hours.
The events are similar to normal FATEs for collectors and crafters. There will be rewards for participating in the events.
The Ishgard housing will come with Patch 6.1 after the release of Endwalker.
Schedule of celebrations in Ishgard
New upgrades for the Resistance Weapons will come in Patch 5.55
Balance adjustments for jobs like Dragoon and Warrior. No major adjustments, just light changes to the numbers. No nerfs, no buffs above 2%
New armors and rewards for PvP
The next dream trial. Titan will be replaced by Leviathan
New recipes for crafters
Convenience updates for collectors. Spawn points of gathering spots will be displayed via the gathering menu on the map, and waters will indicate which fish they contain.
Count Charlemend de Durendaire as a new NPC for delivery requests
Updates for the mini-game Triple Triad
The Explorer mode will get new dungeons that you can enter alone and take screenshots in
More small updates and cosmetic items
More images of new ultimate content in 6.1, as well as furniture and the new outfit
More detailed information will come with the patch notes, which will be published shortly before the update on April 13.

In Valheim (Steam), you can fight, gather, and farm, but for many, building bases and fortresses is what Valheim is all about. However, once water comes into play, building can become challenging.A lucky Viking accidentally found an interesting method that makes building by the shore easier.
Building by the water is frustrating. All you want is to completely surround your coastal base with a protective wall of wooden palisades, but deep water ruins everything. One step too far and your Viking puts the hammer away and prefers to swim a lap instead of securing safety.
A clever player has now accidentally discovered a method that allows you to seal off even the deeper coastal sections with your wooden wall. You only need a hand cart and some skill for this.
Valheim: Viking uses hand carts as building islands
How does it work exactly? On reddit, the player “SwirlyMind” showcases his building technique and states that he discovered the “mechanic” by chance. He jumps onto a hand cart in the water and can then steer the floating cart with his walking movements. We’ve embedded the clip here:

How can I do this too? The trick behind it is simple. When executed, it looks a bit different.
Build a dock and drive a hand cart over the dock into the water. Swim back to land and jump over the dock onto the floating hand cart. Now you are the cart captain and can steer your new building raft with some finesse.
This takes some practice and patience but is significantly easier and more manageable compared to building with water up to your neck. The cart does not only react to your walking movements but is also affected by the water. This means you often have to correct your direction to reach the desired position.
Once you have the cart in the desired position, you can pull out the hammer and start building. The reddit clip clearly shows that you can place your wall entirely in the water. With this method, you can protect your base from the water, and pesky gray dwarfs will stay out – no matter how good they were in their seahorse test.
Vikings outsmart the water in innovative ways
Whether transporting heaps of metal or quickly crossing a large river – there are always marine or coastal sections in the way that make life difficult for the Vikings. Not all players accept this and find crazy methods to conquer the water:
Once the base is finally set up and lost enemies have no chance to knock on your fortress door, you can lean back and enjoy your achievements with a mead buzz. With a high comfort rating, life is much better. Find out here how to achieve the maximum comfort rating in Valheim.

On April 1st, a single game developer released a game on itch.io. The game revolved around an MMORPG raid that simply can’t be completed. With this game, he made his breakthrough, but now no one can buy it anymore.
What kind of game is it? The game is called “My Older Sister Left The Computer So I Got On And Found Myself Trying To Coordinate A Raid In A Game And I Don’t Play MMOs”.
The game was released on April 1st through the website itch.io – it’s like “Steam for indie games”; you can find some gaming gems if you dive deep enough.
In the game, which resembles a JRPG, the player must explain the raid mechanics for a boss fight to 47 level 70 heroes, none of whom understand it. The player needs to set formations and determine which skills they should use, with each having different abilities. On top of that, they must oversee the flow of the raid.
The experience is designed to be as frustrating as possible, as the player receives minimal information: The skill description is something like “Gives the target a status effect”. The heroes’ abilities have names like “Astral Carnival” or “Runic Prayer”.
The game is described as a “stress simulator”.
The game visually resembles JRPGs, with plenty of characters involved.
The game was only available on April 1st on itch.io – Expected to return in a year
Where can you buy it? At the moment, nowhere. The game was only available for purchase on April 1st, but it is expected to be released again on the next April 1st, 2022, and again only for 24 hours.
Only those who purchased it can continue playing it at the moment.
Developer says: He earned $4000, has never had so much in his account
This is what the developer says: The man behind the game is “DeveloperDamien”. He stated on Twitter that he has been making such games for a long time. His previous games include “It’s Six Random Characters and a Single Floor Dungeon, That’s the Whole Game” and “I Have Low Stats But My Class is ‘Leader’ So I Recruited Everyone I Know To Fight The Dark Lord”.
But the game about the MMORPG raid was the first to achieve measurable success and was reported on by the international gaming press, albeit a bit too late. With his other games, he had earned $20 at times, $150 at others. The maximum was $500 when one game did very well (via Twitter).
With the stress simulator, he has now earned over $4,000. That is “more than he has ever had in his bank account,” as he stated on Twitter. He said that when he realized this, he had to walk around and scream.

For a moment, he considered keeping the game available longer because it was doing so well this time. But on the other hand, he is also glad that the hype around the game is over, as he can now stop searching online for who is talking about the game.
The developer seems completely overwhelmed by the success of the game. On Twitter, he repeatedly mentions how stunned and hyped he feels. The word “fuck” comes up frequently.
The developer behind the game: He appears as DeveloperDamien on Twitter.
Apparently, the developer has been working on the game for months to make it available for purchase for 24 hours on April 1st. Perhaps, after the surprise success, he’ll change his mind, and we can all experience what it’s like to lead an MMORPG raid and feel completely overwhelmed.

Outriders has been available since April 1st, but there are numerous issues at launch. Developer People Can Fly has published a list of known issues and is commenting on solutions.
What’s going on? There were many problems at the release of Outriders. In addition to server outages in the evening, there are several other issues across different areas of the game.
On the official Twitter account, the developers have commented on this, and a list of known issues can be found in the Outriders subreddit. There are even some workarounds for certain issues until an update hopefully resolves the problems completely.
This is what the developers say: People Can Fly is working hard to identify all the issues quickly and already offers some workarounds. They are working as quickly as possible on updates to fully resolve the errors.
Here is the last Twitter post from People Can Fly:

MeinMMO summarizes the most important points for you and shows you the workarounds that People Can Fly suggests.
Crossplay issues between PC and consoles
What is the problem? While crossplay in the demo version of Outriders mostly worked without issues, there are massive problems at launch.
PC and console players cannot play together. According to People Can Fly, the issue lies in the day-one update of Outriders, which caused “desynchronization” between PC and consoles.
Currently, crossplay only works between Epic and Steam, and between Xbox and Playstation. The automatic player search is disabled between PC and consoles.
The developer advises not to attempt further until the problem is resolved as quickly as possible. You can find the post on reddit (via reddit).
The PC version of Outriders is suffering from stuttering, crashes, and various other issues affecting numerous players.
What is the problem with DirectX 12? This leads to crashes and numerous performance issues for some players. There is currently no workaround for this, and the developers emphasize that they are working hard on a solution.
Are there any solutions? There is no direct solution, but you can at least circumvent the problem. The developers have suggested some workarounds for this (via steam). First, check if you have the latest Nvidia driver installed. If so, you should try reverting to an older version, as the issues likely lie here.
Otherwise, there are alternative workarounds that might help:
Disable Ansel
Disable DLSS
Turn off V-Sync
Enable the FPS limiter and try different settings
Enable controller support in the settings, even if you are not playing with a controller. (you can do this in the “Big Picture” menu)
Play in windowed mode
A proper solution may only be possible with a new patch.
Disappearing HUBs, crashes in quest “A Bad Day”
What else is going on? In addition to the major problems mentioned above, there are other known bugs. Here’s a summary:
For some players, the HUD disappears.
Workaround: Return to the lobby.
The problem could still occur with every restart of the game.
Pre-order bonus not in storage because the tab is blocked
Workaround: Returning to the lobby should help here as well.
Quest “A Bad Day” crashes on quest reward
Workaround: Place the items from the Hells Rangers pack back in your storage. After receiving the reward, you can take them out again.
An overview of the issues being investigated by the developers can be found in the Outriders subreddit. (via reddit) We at MeinMMO will keep you updated as always.
Have you experienced issues yourself? Or were you able to play without problems? Feel free to let us know in the comments how the release day of Outriders went for you.
MeinMMO asked you what is important to you when buying a graphics card. You responded, and the results are clear. We will reveal this much in advance: If you want to buy an RTX 3080, RTX 3090, or RX 6700 XT, then the price is by far the most important factor for you.
This is how you voted: The survey started on March 24, 2021. As of the time of this article (April 2, 2021, 9:56 AM), a total of 804 people participated. Participants were able to vote multiple times, resulting in a total of 2514 votes cast.
In the following section, we will present the individual results and discuss the respective rankings.
Price is by far the most important factor for you when buying
This is the winner: Looking at the numbers, you have a clear favorite regarding what you pay attention to when buying a graphics card, and that is price-performance: 619 votes went to “price-performance.”
That may not be surprising in times when graphics cards are hardly available or sold at very high prices. Graphics cards like the RTX 3080 are landing at exorbitant prices on eBay or some retailers are already asking for double the regular list price at release.
This comes in at 2nd place: The second most votes in the poll were for the size of the video memory. 364 votes were cast for this. Video memory is especially important for ray tracing and high resolutions. The GeForce RTX 3090, Nvidia’s flagship model, even offers a whopping 24 GB of video memory.
What completes the top 3? The third most votes from you were for good cooling of the graphics card. This received a total of 266 votes. Some of our readers also explain how important water cooling is to them. For example, MeinMMO reader NewClearPower writes:
For me, the most important thing is an available full-cover water cooling block. For many models that do not conform to the reference design, this is not available. I can ignore things like OC or noise.
The size of the graphics card hardly matters to MeinMMO readers
How does it look in the second half? In the midfield are “noise level” (238 votes), “connection options” (183 votes), and “ray tracing” (164 votes) close together.
DLSS is trailing a bit behind ray tracing with 122 votes. Here, especially Nvidia graphics cards show their full strength, particularly in the combination of ray tracing and DLSS. DLSS is still Nvidia’s exclusive feature – even if AMD wants to catch up here.
What is DLSS and FidelityFX Super Resolution? With Nvidia DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling), the game is rendered internally at a lower resolution and upscaled to a higher resolution like 4K using an AI algorithm to increase the FPS. For the RTX 3060, the performance gain is up to 30%. AMD wants to offer a similar technique with FidelityFX Super Resolution to fill a gap.
What is at the end of our survey? The least of our readers value the size of the graphics card. Only 89 votes were cast for that, placing it last in our survey.
The appearance and design of the graphics card also play only a minor role for our readers (120 votes).
Performance is important, then price, and then connections and size (it has to fit in the case). I can do without RGB, I prefer it simple.
At least 100 people agree that they generally do not care about the price and only care about performance. However, this is only a small group on MeinMMO. Because our top 3 alone show that price-performance is the most important factor for our readers when buying a graphics card.
Here are all the results of the survey in persons/percentages:
Category
Votes (with %)
Price/Performance
24.62 %, 619 votes
Video Memory
10.58 %, 266 votes
Cooling
10.58 %, 266 votes
Noise Level
9.47 %, 238 votes
Connections
7.28 %, 183 votes
Ray Tracing
6.52 %, 164 votes
Custom Manufacturer
5.05 %, 127 votes
DLSS
4.85 %, 122 votes
Appearance/Design
4.77 %, 120 votes
Full performance, price irrelevant
3.98 %, 100 votes
Size
3.54 %, 89 votes
This is how the voting distribution looks. 804 people participated, and a total of 2514 votes were cast.

In the tier list for Season 23 in Diablo 3, we show you the best classes, builds, and equipment. Changes from Patch 2.7.0 are also taken into account.
What’s going on in Diablo 3? Today, April 2, 2021, Season 23 starts in Diablo 3. This runs with the new Patch 2.7.0, which has significantly revamped the companions. All players who start with Season 23 will begin at “zero” and try to quickly reach level 70. In this tier list, we want to show you which classes and builds have the greatest potential in S23 – meaning which class is the best.
What makes S23 special? The new Patch 2.7.0 brings the biggest changes in years to Diablo 3. Your companions – the Rogue, the Templar, and the Enchantress – can now wear much more armor, and the legendary properties will be transferred to you. Additionally, there have been updates to some of their abilities.
What you need to know about the tier list for Season 23
Who creates the tier list? For our overview article, we compare the tier lists of the biggest and most important Diablo 3 streamers, experts, and YouTubers. Among them are Rhykker (YouTube), Bluddshed (YouTube), and Raxxanterax (YouTube). The analysis by Leviathan is also included in this list. The expert named the 3 top classes of Season 23 in an interview.
As a foundation, we take the tier list from Maxroll.gg. The website develops this tier list with extensive tests and mathematics. It’s run by the team around Rob, Wudijo, Northwar, and Chewignom. Major Diablo streamers now use the website maxroll.gg to share their builds. Since April 1st, this site is even available in German.
We will embed the graphic of the tier list here in the article. On this and the next pages, we will present you with the top 3 builds for each class along with a link to the build. This way, you can easily recreate and play them in Season 23.
What do the tiers of the tier list mean? You will find categories S to F on the tier list. Builds in S-tier have the highest potential of the current Season 23, while in F-tier they have less.
But use this only as a rough guide. The greatest potential still depends on the Paragon points. For those who grind enough, they can reach higher levels in Greater Rifts.
With all these builds, even those in F-tier, you can easily clear Greater Rifts of level 70. This milestone is necessary to unlock archaic items. They are among the strongest items in Diablo 3.
This is what we show you here: On this and the next 6 pages of the article, you will find the three strongest builds for each class in Season 23. By clicking on the name of the build, you will be redirected to the website Maxroll.gg, where the build is presented in detail with all items, gems, abilities, and runes.
If the tier list changes within Season 23, we will adjust this article for you.
If abbreviations LoN and LoD appear in the builds, they are abbreviations for the legacy bonuses. You obtain these through a gem or a set of rings.
A-Tier: Waste Whirlwind Rend (via maxroll.gg): At this point, I want to remind you of the catchy tune “Spin to win” (via YouTube). The Whirlwind Barbarian has been among the top in the tier lists for several seasons now. The playstyle is easy to understand and extremely mobile. Furthermore, the Wrath of the Wastes set also comes as a starter set from Haedrig’s gift. So you can quickly get started with it.
A-Tier: Savage Frenzy (via maxroll.gg): Frenzy is an attack that stacks up to 5 times while increasing the attack speed. This way, you can hack through waves of enemies and slice through single enemies easily. However, it lacks some AOE damage, and the playstyle heavily relies on its cooldowns.
B-Tier: MotE Earthquake (via maxroll.gg): In this build, you use Earthquake and deal significant damage to your enemies. You jump through the rifts and stomp on monsters. A playstyle that everyone should try. However, it doesn’t play as smoothly as a Whirlwind build.
On the next page, you will see the three best builds of the Demon Hunter in Season 23 of Diablo 3.

In Destiny 2, Guardians hate it when they find two useless perks on their new weapons after a hard Trials round or the Grandmaster. Bungie is changing this and explains why they don’t want to make Master weapons even stronger.
What Guardians hate: Destiny 2 has given players new reasons to grind in PvE and PvP endgame. The fresh and particularly strong weapons from the Trials of Osiris and the Grandmaster are very well received. To make it even more interesting, only these weapons can drop with exclusive perks.
But exactly these special perks are something no Guardian wants on their weapon. A roll of the rare items is basically ruined when you see these traits:
Speed (Trials): +100 to aim assist, handling, and reload speed, plus reduced recoil and spread. However, these incredibly powerful bonuses only apply when you are the last living Guardian in your fireteam.
Bottomless Grief (Grandmaster): Every kill reloads the magazine. But this only works when all your friends are dead.
If you’re thinking that these are great traits for solo Guardians, you’ll be disappointed. The perks only trigger when you’re in a fireteam and the teammates are defeated.
Both perks are really strong, but the required conditions make them simply unattractive. In the Trials, the round is usually lost for most with fewer players. And you don’t really enjoy the kills in the Grandmaster when you’re about to wipe because you’re the last one standing.
What is a perk? Perk comes from English and means “advantage”. In video games, a perk usually refers to special traits and skills that a character or a piece of equipment can have. In Destiny 2, we refer to the last two slots of weapons as “perk slots”. Here, you can find things like faster reload, more damage, or stackable effects. In contrast, we have weapon attachments, which refer to the magazine, scope, or barrel.
The hated God-Roll killers are set to change soon
Starting from Season 14, which begins on May 11, 2021, the hated perks are changing. This was announced by the Destiny developer in their weekly blog post “This Week at Bungie” (via Bungie.net). The condition that you must be the last living Guardian is completely removed, but the bonuses will also change as compensation.
The God-Roll is impossible due to “Speed”
This is how the perk “Speed” (eng. Celerity) is changing:
Grants a permanently active increase of +20 to the stats reload and handling.
As a master version, weapons from the Trials have “Speed” as the 2nd and alternative perk in the right slot. You can freely choose whether you want the randomly rolled perk or prefer to opt for “Speed”.
This is what happens with “Bottomless Grief” (eng. Bottomless Grief):
Grants a permanently active magazine increase of +30. This does not mean that the bullet count always increases by 30. The exact increase of the magazine depends on the weapon and archetype.
As a master version, weapons from the Grandmaster have “Bottomless Grief” as the 2nd and alternative perk in the left slot.
Bungie also mentions that the changes for master weapons do not apply retroactively. You will therefore need to farm the weapon again for the replacement perk.
“Bad things can happen” – Bungie on strong weapons
Guardians are wondering why such bonuses even need to occupy a perk slot. It would make the hard-to-get weapons much more attractive if “Speed” or “Bottomless Grief” were automatically added as additional traits on the guns. Guardians know such “intrinsic” abilities from adept or raid weapons from Destiny 1.
In the TWaB, Chris Proctor, the “Weapon Feature Lead” at Bungie, addressed this. He actually finds the idea of such intrinsic bonuses really cool and it would make the Master weapons even more special. However, there are also three reasons that clearly argue against it.
That’s why it doesn’t work:
For performance reasons, only a limited number of perks can be active at the same time. Many legendary weapons are already at the limit with all the simultaneous effects. If you were to add more perks without removing any, “bad things” could happen and the perks might not work correctly anymore.
According to Bungie, additional perk slots in the long run could lead to the notorious “power creep” returning. They first introduce a 3rd slot for Trials weapons, then for raid weapons, then in a future season for all legendary guns, and eventually all weapons would be too powerful. None would stand out anymore.
If only Master weapons received a new perk slot, many players would feel excluded. Because Master weapons are quite rare and only obtainable by truly dedicated Guardians. Proctor says: “We believe this would feel really bad for players who constantly die to Master weapons, where ‘Speed’ can stack with perks like ‘Reckless’ and ‘Rampage.'”
What do you think about the planned changes? Has one of the two perks already ruined a God-Roll for you? Do you think that Master weapons should only be prestige items or is it okay if the strongest players receive even stronger toys? Here’s more on the topic: The best weapons in Destiny 2 are only for the best players – unfair or right?

In Outriders you can choose from 4 different character classes. MeinMMO provides an overview of their traits and abilities.
This is Outriders: Outriders is a third-person shooter where you hunt for loot with up to two teammates. The title is developed by People Can Fly, known for the eccentric sci-fi shooter Bulletstorm.
The story takes place in a sci-fi setting on the planet Enoch. Players fight against various threats caused by a mysterious “Anomaly.” This anomaly is also the reason for the special abilities of the four different classes that you can choose from.
Update, April 2, 2021: We have added a section on class selection to the article. Additionally, all skills are now listed in the article, including the required level stages.
You have been able to test the classes in a demo since February 25. You can find all the important details about the Outriders demo on MeinMMO: All information about the free demo of the RPG shooter. In this special, we introduce the four classes individually.
These are the classes of Outriders:
Pyromancer
Technomancer
Trickster
Devastator
[toc]
In a team, powerful combos can be achieved.
This is how classes are structured: Each of these classes has its own healing mechanic, since there are no healing potions in Outriders. Here, aggressive play is rewarded with healing. Each class has its own way of staying alive.
Each class also has three subclasses or skill trees that allow you to specialize further. However, you are not limited to one subclass and can combine them as well.
How do skills work? Each class has up to 8 skills (you start with one ability) that favor a specific playstyle. You can use up to 3 skills simultaneously and swap them out at any time—even in combat. You unlock abilities by leveling up your class.
Up to the level cap at level 30, you will receive a total of 20 skill points, which can be used to unlock abilities and talents.
In the game, you can reset your points for free at any time and try out new options. MeinMMO introduces the 4 classes in detail below.
Class Selection and Solo Class
Which class should I choose? This mainly depends on your playstyle. The classes are quite versatile and support various play styles. In simplified terms, you can categorize the classes as follows:
Pyromancer: Medium range, mage, uses fire, good against masses of enemies
Assassin: Close range, hit and run, manipulates space and time
Devastator: Close range, tank, controls gravity
Technomancer: All-rounder, ranged combat and support, uses gadgets like ice and poison turrets, rocket launchers, or a Gatling gun
You can use this as a rough orientation.
Can you switch classes? No. However, you can create a total of six characters, which is plenty to try out all classes. However, you must complete the main story with each class.
Which class is particularly suitable for solo players? With the right skills, you can play all classes solo. Initially, however, it makes sense to choose the Devastator or Assassin. These are geared towards melee combat and deal high damage at the same time.
Which class is suitable for co-op? All classes are designed for teamwork. However, it can be said that the Technomancer and Pyromancer have some targeted support abilities. The Technomancer, for example, is the only class in Outriders that can heal, while the Pyromancer can set entire groups on fire.
As already mentioned: There is no one-size-fits-all recipe in Outriders. With the right skills, weapons, and perks, you can succeed with any class. Now let’s move on to the individual classes and their abilities.
Pyromancer (English: Pyromancer)
Pyromancer
This is how the Pyromancer fights: You should choose this character if you prefer to fight at medium distances and control the battlefield. He has several fire skills that deal area damage. This allows you to burn multiple enemies at once and keep them under control.
The Pyromancer relies on three core attributes: explosions, immobility, and burning. Furthermore, the fire mage can heal himself by marking enemies with his skills and taking them down.
These are the skills of the Pyromancer:
Thermal Bomb (Level 1): Sets your enemies on fire and makes them immobile. If an enemy dies under the influence of the Thermal Bomb, they explode and deal area damage.
Heatwave (Level 1): Shoots a wave of fire forward that burns enemies in its path and deals massive damage.
Feed The Flames (Level 3): Pulls your enemy towards you, burns them, and siphons their health to heal yourself. It also interrupts the enemy’s action.
Overheat (Level 6): Works similarly to Heatwave but is more about marking enemies and burning as many foes as possible. It is more of a support skill.
Volcanic Rounds (Level 9): Fills your magazine with fire ammunition that burns enemies. Bullets also penetrate foes, allowing you to set multiple enemies on fire.
Ash Blast (Level 13): This area attack puts multiple enemies within a certain radius in the “Ash” status and makes them immobile.
F.A.S.E.R.-Beam (Level 17): Fires a powerful beam that deals +125% of your anomaly damage and hits multiple enemies at once. Enemies are also burned and interrupted in their attacks.
Eruption (Level 22): Creates a powerful volcanic explosion at a target that also harms enemies in a small radius.
These skills can be combined into powerful power combos, allowing you to develop strategies. For example, you can first burn enemies that get too close with Heatwave, and then further pin them down with Ash Blast.
These are the subclasses and skill tree of the Pyromancer:
Ashbreaker: Mainly benefits from damage bonuses against marked enemies. Targets all-rounders.
Firestorm: Focuses on damage from skills. If you want to maximize your fire damage, this is your subclass.
Firestarter: This subclass focuses on survival skills and is more of a tank path. Your healing abilities are enhanced, and you can even be revived through a unique talent.
You can watch gameplay of the Pyromancer in Axiom’s video and get an impression:

How much does such a subscription cost? Depending on the platform, you pay monthly between €9.99 (each for PC or Xbox) and €12.99 (Game Pass Ultimate for PC and Xbox). However, keep in mind that Outriders is currently only supposed to appear in the Game Pass for Xbox.
The developers have emphasized several times that the story of Outriders plays an important role. Unlike many other shooters, the story is not just an accessory.
What is it about? Humanity has destroyed the Earth and is looking for a new home. This seems to be found on the planet Enoch. However, there are numerous dangers caused by the humans themselves as well as the planet itself.
The players’ task is to save the new world while investigating a mysterious signal that is being sent from somewhere on Enoch. They are to achieve these goals using mysterious powers awakened by the so-called anomaly storm at the beginning of the game.
How much playtime does the story offer? According to People Can Fly, the main story is supposed to deliver around 30-40 hours of gameplay, in addition to side missions.
The story of Outriders is bloody and brutal.
RPG with classes and crafting
These are the RPG mechanics: The gameplay mechanics involve the four classes of Outriders. These are
Pyromancer – The fire mage
Technomancer – The all-rounder
Assassin – The manipulator of space and time
Devastator – The gravity bender
Each class has special properties and play styles. In addition, each has its own skill tree, which splits into three subclasses. There are also 8 different abilities.
You level up throughout the story, unlocking abilities and skill points, allowing you to customize your classes as you like. It is useful that you can reset your skill trees for free at any time. Even in combat.
Then there are weapons and armor with which you can create builds. Crafting also plays an important role.
This is how crafting works: In Outriders, you modify weapons and armor with modifications. You can unlock mods by dismantling found equipment and then attach them to other gear. This allows effects to be transferred and combined.
However, this only works once you reach a certain equipment level. This is where the loot system of Outriders comes into play.
Loot mechanics of Outriders
Outriders has a conventional loot system. Equipment is classified into different rarity levels, which differ in color, designation, and properties.
What to expect in the endgame:With the expeditions, after the main story, there are 15 more missions and areas. These missions are gradually unlocked through the 15 world tiers, which determine the difficulty of Outriders.
These levels are reminiscent of the torment ranks from Diablo and simultaneously increase the chance for rare loot. In the endgame, you will mainly be occupied with playing the expeditions, improving your equipment and classes, in order to survive in the higher difficulty levels.
Outriders, however, will certainly be supported after release, improved, and maintained. Quality-of-life improvements are also possible.
Multiplayer and Crossplay – What about PvP?
How does multiplayer work? You can team up with up to two other players. All content can be replayed at any time. There is a matchmaking system where you can either join random players, create a group, or specifically join friends.
Is there PvP? No. You cannot compete against other players in Outriders. There are no PvP modes. Throughout the story, you encounter various enemies controlled by AI, including humans and monsters.
However, you can play nearly all activities with friends and random players. This includes the story, side missions, and expeditions.
How does crossplay work? Thanks to the crossplay feature, you can play Outriders across all platforms. This includes PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC (Epic, Steam), and Google Stadia.
The crossplay in Outriders works through Square Enix’s account system (via sqex.me), so you will need an additional account that you must link to your respective profile. You will then have the option to play all content with players of the mentioned platforms.
The developers say: In an interview with MeinMMO, the developers emphasized that the story and side missions can be played solo without any problems up to a certain point. The game’s scaling adjusts the difficulty for solo players.
By the way: Even if you play solo, Outriders requires a permanent internet connection.
How is it in the endgame? In the expeditions, however, it is different. The activities are designed for groups and are correspondingly challenging.
While it is possible to survive alone with the right equipment and adjusted builds, it requires significant time to assemble such builds and the associated equipment.
Outriders is not a live service game like Division or Destiny
What does that mean? Games like Destiny 2 or The Division 2 have laid out plans from the very beginning for how content will continue after release. Both games introduced a season model after release that continuously provided content.
Outriders takes a more “old school” approach and avoids such plans. There will also be no season passes or in-game shops with paid content. The developers state that they want to release a finished game.
Still undecided? You can also simply try the free demo of Outriders. In the test version, you can play the first chapter of Outriders and try out the four classes.
In Diablo 3 the start of Season 23 is just around the corner. We will show you the most important information here on why there is no season bonus and which starter sets you will receive from Haedrig’s Gift.
What is happening in Diablo 3? Today, on April 2, 2021, the kickoff for Season 23 in Diablo 3 begins. For players, this is a major event as all participants start from “scratch” in a season. Then begins a race to see who can reach the max level 70 the fastest, equip their character, and participate in the high tiers of the Greater Rifts.
A season lasts about three months and comes with some bonuses. The special feature of Season 23 is that it is based on the major patch 2.7.0, which brings important changes to the game. We will show you the details here so you are well prepared for the coming months.
Start of Season 23 – Time for PC and Consoles
When does it start? On PC, everything starts as usual on Friday evening at 5:00 PM. Provided the servers hold up.
On consoles, you’ll have to wait longer for the start.
Based on the start times of previous seasons, it is assumed that Season 23 will start on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch at 2:00 AM on April 3.
When does Season 23 end? As of now, no exact end date has been set. Blizzard usually announces the end of the season about two weeks in advance. Generally, a D3 season runs for three months. Therefore, the end could be in early July. Here on MeinMMO, you will be informed as soon as there is an official statement.
Season Theme of Season 23
What makes it special? In recent years, seasons in Diablo 3 have always started with specific season themes. For example, there was a fourth slot in Kanai’s Cube. However, there is no exclusive theme for S23 this time. The reason for this is the fundamental rework of the companions, which is already causing major changes to gameplay.
Companions like the Templar, the Rogue, or the Enchantress can now be equipped with 14 items. These are:
Relic
Head
Shoulders
Body
Hands
Wrists
Waist
2x Ring
Amulet
Legs
Feet
Main Hand
Off Hand
With the “Channeling” feature, you receive the effects of the legendary items your companions wear. This means that you can expand your builds with additional items without having to wear them yourself. Especially for solo players, Diablo 3 will become attractive again starting with Season 23. The special thing about this change is that it will remain permanent.
What about starter sets? By completing seasonal milestones, you will be rewarded with Haedrig’s gifts. This applies for completing milestone 2, 3, and 4. You will always receive a few pieces so that in the end you obtain a complete set for one class. This depends on which class you open the gifts with.
In Season 23, the distribution of starter sets is as follows (via diablo3.com):
This is what the starter sets of Season 23 look like in the game
Cosmetic Rewards from Season 23
What is that? For certain milestones in a season in Diablo 3, you receive cosmetic items as rewards. These consist of content from past seasons and new content.
In Season 23, you receive the green Emerald Serpent as a companion along with trousers and boots from the exclusive Conqueror set and a Treasure Goblin portrait frame. You already know this content from Season 11. If you didn’t unlock them back then, you have another chance now.
What’s new: You’re not just going to be satiated with old content. For completing the Season 23 journey, you will receive two new cosmetic rewards. A “Battleblock” portrait frame and the pet “Laconiyoungster”.
Best Class in Season 23?
What does the expert say: Before the start of Season 23, we from MeinMMO sat down with Diablo expert Leviathan. In the interview, we talked about which classes and builds will likely dominate the rankings in the upcoming season.
In recent weeks, there have been significant changes for the Firebird Sorceress. Just before the release of the patch, there were adjustments that catapulted the set back into S-tier of the tier list. In our tier list for Season 23 in Diablo 3, you will find the best classes and builds of the season.
The Sorceress, Necromancer, and Crusader play an important role at the top of the rankings.
Do you not care at all how strong the classes get? If you haven’t decided on a class yet, or want to try something new, then spin our Fate Wheel for class selection in Diablo 3.
Which are they? The following achievements can be unlocked in Season 23. Each also has a variant in hardcore mode.
Greed: Complete a 50,000,000 gold streak outside of the Realm of Treasures and the central vault.
Speed Demon: Complete a Nephalem Portal at “Torture 10” difficulty or higher with a level 70 character in under 2 minutes.
Boss Mode: Kill all bosses at “Torture 10” difficulty or higher with a level 70 character in under 20 minutes.
Simply Divine: Achieve a Greater Nephalem Portal level 75 (in solo play).
Master of All Classes: Master 8 Set Portals.
Patch Notes for Update 2.7.0
What has changed? The companion system is at the forefront of the patch notes with its significant changes. The Templar, Rogue, and Enchantress have new or revised abilities. Here we show you a glimpse of that:
Templar:
Offensive (revised): Inflicts a massive blow on an enemy that deals 800% weapon damage. Increases the damage that the target and nearby enemies take based on the Templar’s strength for 3-6 seconds by 10%.
Guardian (revised): If you would take lethal damage, the Templar rushes to your aid, knocking back enemies within 15 meters, healing you based on the Templar’s strength for 15-25% of your life, and protecting you from damage for 5 seconds.
Rogue:
Nightshade (new): The Rogue creates a cloud that covers a 20-meter area for 2-4 seconds based on the Rogue’s dexterity. All attacks against enemies within the cloud deal critical damage.
Piercing Shot (new): A ranged attack that pierces enemies and increases the damage dealt to them based on the Rogue’s dexterity for 3-6 seconds by 10%.
Enchantress:
Temporal Pulse (new): The Enchantress summons a homing orb that deals 150% weapon damage to enemies and slows them down by 80% for 3-6 seconds based on the Enchantress’s intelligence.
Enhancement (new): Increases your highest static elemental damage bonus based on the Enchantress’s intelligence by 5-10%.
Prophetic Harmony (new): Reduces your skill cooldowns based on the Enchantress’s intelligence by 5-10%.
Delay of Fate (new): If you would take lethal damage, the Enchantress empowers you, allowing you to move faster through time for 3-7 seconds based on the Enchantress’s intelligence to evade death.
Balance Changes: Revisions were made to items for the Necromancer and Sorceress, as well as the Demon Hunter (Patch Notes via eu.diablo3.com). The Rathma set of the Necromancer received some changes that redefine the playstyle of this set with other abilities.
A revised mechanics for the Firebird Sorceress makes the set very strong and an S-tier in the tier list for Season 23.
The new “Terror Gear” set for the Demon Hunter has been adjusted and received a nerf.
Changes to the Rankings: You can now view the leaderboards for solo players in Greater Nephalem Portals with additional filters. Sorted by class sets, only players without class sets, and the usual overall view.
Are you looking forward to the new Season 23 in Diablo 3, or are the changes not attractive enough for you to return to the game? Discuss with other users here on MeinMMO and share your opinion about Blizzard’s hack ‘n’ slash.
The Battle Pass of Season 6 in Fortnite is packed with cool skins. But it doesn’t just stop at these skins, as you can unlock rare style variants for some of them. We will show you how to obtain the skins from the Battle Pass of Season 6 in Fortnite.
What kinds of skins are these? In the Battle Pass of Season 6, you can unlock various skins such as Agent Jones. As a bonus, there is the soccer player Neymar Jr. as the secret skin of the season. However, those who want to further customize their outfits can unlock them with special style variants. In Season 6, the variants are Chrome, Runes, and Gold.
Unlocking special style variants for skins – Here’s how to do it
What do you need to do? These style variants are only available to players who reach a high level in the current season. This makes the skins even rarer and more special. However, you can unlock the special appearance for only 3 skins from the Battle Pass.
So if you want to get the cool skins, you’ll have to gather a lot of experience points, play a lot, and level up. But first, you need to reach Level 100 before the race begins. In our Level Guide, you’ll find some tips on how to level up faster:
Let’s start with the first style variant you can unlock. This variant gives the skins a chrome color. The entire skin then appears in chrome and differs greatly from its original form. The variants will be unlocked at these levels for the 3 characters:
Chrome Variant for Tanara: Level 110
Chrome Variant for Raz: Level 130
Chrome Variant for Spire Assassin: Level 150
Style Variant – Runes
Another style variant for your 3 Battle Pass skins is Runes. This variant makes the characters appear a bit darker than the Chrome variant, but a purple glow can now be seen in certain areas of the skin. This helps to distinguish between the first two variants. They will be unlocked at these levels:
Runes Variant for Tanara: Level 160
Runes Variant for Raz: Level 180
Runes Variant for Spire Assassin: Level 200
Style Variant – Gold
As always, the gold variant of the skins cannot be missed. It seems to have become a tradition that has been established since Season 2 Chapter 2. Also in Season 6, you will be able to secure a gold variant of the Battle Pass skins once again. This time you get a purple glow that has settled in with the characters for the gold appearance. The variants will be unlocked at these levels:
Gold Variant for Tanara: Level 205
Gold Variant for Raz: Level 215
Gold Variant for Spire Assassin: Level 225
It is not yet certain whether these will be the only skins that will receive a gold variant. It is suspected that Lara Croft will also have a style variant in gold. We will update the guide as soon as more information about the variants becomes available.
Here you can see all the rare variants of the skins that are available in Season 6 Image source: FortniteIntel
Overall, you can unlock 3 style variants for each of the 3 skins from the Battle Pass – if more skins come along, we will update the article for you. While the skins may not be really new, these special looks make them appear quite different. If you encounter such an outfit in the game, you know that a player with a high level is behind it.
If you want to take on the challenge, you still have a lot to do after you reach Level 100. It won’t be easy, but who knows, maybe you will end up with one of the rarest skins in Fortnite after the season .

The ban was not permanent but lasted “only” 168 hours, or one week.
What are chat filters? In online and multiplayer games, there are often programs or settings that filter certain utterances in the chat. Often, only a word is censored with asterisks or gibberish. This is intended to prevent players from being insulted or attacked.
The case has led to some complaints in the Apex Legends community. In a thread on reddit, players complain that such a situation only occurs because developers only consider filters for the English language (via reddit).
Words like the Spanish “negro” (“black”), which have their origin in Latin (“nigreos”), are very present in many of the derived languages – and would be punished for it. Another example from German is the word “weniger”, which can also lead to problems.
The user MaybeAdrian welcomes the Japanese player in the club “I am not an English speaker and I know that companies do not care about non-English matters”. The user MonoShadow responds that this could even be limited to America – even English dialects and accents are affected.
The reddit user DoolioArt even goes a step further and calls it “total arrogance.” You cannot regulate games with multiple languages in this way. There are hardly any opposing voices to these accusations.
Indeed, it is probably quite difficult for developers to satisfy all players. Especially since language can often have different meanings in context. Theoretically, each spoken language that the game offers would require its own expert to devise a filter.
Anyone playing with other players should watch their language. This isn’t necessarily new, but a Japanese player in Apex Legends has now fallen victim to it. He was apparently banned from the game for trying to tell his teammates to flee in his native language.
What did the player do? A Japanese Apex player wanted to urge his team to retreat. He said “nigero”.
The word “nigero” consists in Japanese of two parts: the root “nige-” (逃げ, meaning “to run away” or “to flee”) and the ending “-ro” (ろ, the imperative form for verbs).
So he was just trying to strongly communicate to his teammates to flee. However, the chat filter of Apex apparently didn’t like that at all.
Why was he banned for it? Although “nigero” is a harmless word in Japanese, the chat filter of Apex Legends apparently recognized it as a variation of the word “Nigger”. That is a racist term directed at Black people and is generally condemned everywhere.
This is what the player’s ban supposedly looked like. Image source: reddit.
What is particularly surprising is that the character Octane in Apex Legends himself says “nigero” when he throws a grenade. Nevertheless, the player received a ban for the expression due to “hate speech”.
The ban was not permanent but lasted “only” 168 hours, or one week.
