MeinMMO asked you what is important to you when buying a graphics card. You responded, and the results are clear. We will reveal this much in advance: If you want to buy an RTX 3080, RTX 3090, or RX 6700 XT, then the price is by far the most important factor for you.
This is how you voted: The survey started on March 24, 2021. As of the time of this article (April 2, 2021, 9:56 AM), a total of 804 people participated. Participants were able to vote multiple times, resulting in a total of 2514 votes cast.
In the following section, we will present the individual results and discuss the respective rankings.
Price is by far the most important factor for you when buying
This is the winner: Looking at the numbers, you have a clear favorite regarding what you pay attention to when buying a graphics card, and that is price-performance: 619 votes went to “price-performance.”
That may not be surprising in times when graphics cards are hardly available or sold at very high prices. Graphics cards like the RTX 3080 are landing at exorbitant prices on eBay or some retailers are already asking for double the regular list price at release.
This comes in at 2nd place: The second most votes in the poll were for the size of the video memory. 364 votes were cast for this. Video memory is especially important for ray tracing and high resolutions. The GeForce RTX 3090, Nvidia’s flagship model, even offers a whopping 24 GB of video memory.
What completes the top 3? The third most votes from you were for good cooling of the graphics card. This received a total of 266 votes. Some of our readers also explain how important water cooling is to them. For example, MeinMMO reader NewClearPower writes:
For me, the most important thing is an available full-cover water cooling block. For many models that do not conform to the reference design, this is not available. I can ignore things like OC or noise.
The size of the graphics card hardly matters to MeinMMO readers
How does it look in the second half? In the midfield are “noise level” (238 votes), “connection options” (183 votes), and “ray tracing” (164 votes) close together.
DLSS is trailing a bit behind ray tracing with 122 votes. Here, especially Nvidia graphics cards show their full strength, particularly in the combination of ray tracing and DLSS. DLSS is still Nvidia’s exclusive feature – even if AMD wants to catch up here.
What is DLSS and FidelityFX Super Resolution? With Nvidia DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling), the game is rendered internally at a lower resolution and upscaled to a higher resolution like 4K using an AI algorithm to increase the FPS. For the RTX 3060, the performance gain is up to 30%. AMD wants to offer a similar technique with FidelityFX Super Resolution to fill a gap.
What is at the end of our survey? The least of our readers value the size of the graphics card. Only 89 votes were cast for that, placing it last in our survey.
The appearance and design of the graphics card also play only a minor role for our readers (120 votes).
Performance is important, then price, and then connections and size (it has to fit in the case). I can do without RGB, I prefer it simple.
At least 100 people agree that they generally do not care about the price and only care about performance. However, this is only a small group on MeinMMO. Because our top 3 alone show that price-performance is the most important factor for our readers when buying a graphics card.
Here are all the results of the survey in persons/percentages:
Category
Votes (with %)
Price/Performance
24.62 %, 619 votes
Video Memory
10.58 %, 266 votes
Cooling
10.58 %, 266 votes
Noise Level
9.47 %, 238 votes
Connections
7.28 %, 183 votes
Ray Tracing
6.52 %, 164 votes
Custom Manufacturer
5.05 %, 127 votes
DLSS
4.85 %, 122 votes
Appearance/Design
4.77 %, 120 votes
Full performance, price irrelevant
3.98 %, 100 votes
Size
3.54 %, 89 votes
This is how the voting distribution looks. 804 people participated, and a total of 2514 votes were cast.

In the tier list for Season 23 in Diablo 3, we show you the best classes, builds, and equipment. Changes from Patch 2.7.0 are also taken into account.
What’s going on in Diablo 3? Today, April 2, 2021, Season 23 starts in Diablo 3. This runs with the new Patch 2.7.0, which has significantly revamped the companions. All players who start with Season 23 will begin at “zero” and try to quickly reach level 70. In this tier list, we want to show you which classes and builds have the greatest potential in S23 – meaning which class is the best.
What makes S23 special? The new Patch 2.7.0 brings the biggest changes in years to Diablo 3. Your companions – the Rogue, the Templar, and the Enchantress – can now wear much more armor, and the legendary properties will be transferred to you. Additionally, there have been updates to some of their abilities.
What you need to know about the tier list for Season 23
Who creates the tier list? For our overview article, we compare the tier lists of the biggest and most important Diablo 3 streamers, experts, and YouTubers. Among them are Rhykker (YouTube), Bluddshed (YouTube), and Raxxanterax (YouTube). The analysis by Leviathan is also included in this list. The expert named the 3 top classes of Season 23 in an interview.
As a foundation, we take the tier list from Maxroll.gg. The website develops this tier list with extensive tests and mathematics. It’s run by the team around Rob, Wudijo, Northwar, and Chewignom. Major Diablo streamers now use the website maxroll.gg to share their builds. Since April 1st, this site is even available in German.
We will embed the graphic of the tier list here in the article. On this and the next pages, we will present you with the top 3 builds for each class along with a link to the build. This way, you can easily recreate and play them in Season 23.
What do the tiers of the tier list mean? You will find categories S to F on the tier list. Builds in S-tier have the highest potential of the current Season 23, while in F-tier they have less.
But use this only as a rough guide. The greatest potential still depends on the Paragon points. For those who grind enough, they can reach higher levels in Greater Rifts.
With all these builds, even those in F-tier, you can easily clear Greater Rifts of level 70. This milestone is necessary to unlock archaic items. They are among the strongest items in Diablo 3.
This is what we show you here: On this and the next 6 pages of the article, you will find the three strongest builds for each class in Season 23. By clicking on the name of the build, you will be redirected to the website Maxroll.gg, where the build is presented in detail with all items, gems, abilities, and runes.
If the tier list changes within Season 23, we will adjust this article for you.
If abbreviations LoN and LoD appear in the builds, they are abbreviations for the legacy bonuses. You obtain these through a gem or a set of rings.
A-Tier: Waste Whirlwind Rend (via maxroll.gg): At this point, I want to remind you of the catchy tune “Spin to win” (via YouTube). The Whirlwind Barbarian has been among the top in the tier lists for several seasons now. The playstyle is easy to understand and extremely mobile. Furthermore, the Wrath of the Wastes set also comes as a starter set from Haedrig’s gift. So you can quickly get started with it.
A-Tier: Savage Frenzy (via maxroll.gg): Frenzy is an attack that stacks up to 5 times while increasing the attack speed. This way, you can hack through waves of enemies and slice through single enemies easily. However, it lacks some AOE damage, and the playstyle heavily relies on its cooldowns.
B-Tier: MotE Earthquake (via maxroll.gg): In this build, you use Earthquake and deal significant damage to your enemies. You jump through the rifts and stomp on monsters. A playstyle that everyone should try. However, it doesn’t play as smoothly as a Whirlwind build.
On the next page, you will see the three best builds of the Demon Hunter in Season 23 of Diablo 3.

In Destiny 2, Guardians hate it when they find two useless perks on their new weapons after a hard Trials round or the Grandmaster. Bungie is changing this and explains why they don’t want to make Master weapons even stronger.
What Guardians hate: Destiny 2 has given players new reasons to grind in PvE and PvP endgame. The fresh and particularly strong weapons from the Trials of Osiris and the Grandmaster are very well received. To make it even more interesting, only these weapons can drop with exclusive perks.
But exactly these special perks are something no Guardian wants on their weapon. A roll of the rare items is basically ruined when you see these traits:
Speed (Trials): +100 to aim assist, handling, and reload speed, plus reduced recoil and spread. However, these incredibly powerful bonuses only apply when you are the last living Guardian in your fireteam.
Bottomless Grief (Grandmaster): Every kill reloads the magazine. But this only works when all your friends are dead.
If you’re thinking that these are great traits for solo Guardians, you’ll be disappointed. The perks only trigger when you’re in a fireteam and the teammates are defeated.
Both perks are really strong, but the required conditions make them simply unattractive. In the Trials, the round is usually lost for most with fewer players. And you don’t really enjoy the kills in the Grandmaster when you’re about to wipe because you’re the last one standing.
What is a perk? Perk comes from English and means “advantage”. In video games, a perk usually refers to special traits and skills that a character or a piece of equipment can have. In Destiny 2, we refer to the last two slots of weapons as “perk slots”. Here, you can find things like faster reload, more damage, or stackable effects. In contrast, we have weapon attachments, which refer to the magazine, scope, or barrel.
The hated God-Roll killers are set to change soon
Starting from Season 14, which begins on May 11, 2021, the hated perks are changing. This was announced by the Destiny developer in their weekly blog post “This Week at Bungie” (via Bungie.net). The condition that you must be the last living Guardian is completely removed, but the bonuses will also change as compensation.
The God-Roll is impossible due to “Speed”
This is how the perk “Speed” (eng. Celerity) is changing:
Grants a permanently active increase of +20 to the stats reload and handling.
As a master version, weapons from the Trials have “Speed” as the 2nd and alternative perk in the right slot. You can freely choose whether you want the randomly rolled perk or prefer to opt for “Speed”.
This is what happens with “Bottomless Grief” (eng. Bottomless Grief):
Grants a permanently active magazine increase of +30. This does not mean that the bullet count always increases by 30. The exact increase of the magazine depends on the weapon and archetype.
As a master version, weapons from the Grandmaster have “Bottomless Grief” as the 2nd and alternative perk in the left slot.
Bungie also mentions that the changes for master weapons do not apply retroactively. You will therefore need to farm the weapon again for the replacement perk.
“Bad things can happen” – Bungie on strong weapons
Guardians are wondering why such bonuses even need to occupy a perk slot. It would make the hard-to-get weapons much more attractive if “Speed” or “Bottomless Grief” were automatically added as additional traits on the guns. Guardians know such “intrinsic” abilities from adept or raid weapons from Destiny 1.
In the TWaB, Chris Proctor, the “Weapon Feature Lead” at Bungie, addressed this. He actually finds the idea of such intrinsic bonuses really cool and it would make the Master weapons even more special. However, there are also three reasons that clearly argue against it.
That’s why it doesn’t work:
For performance reasons, only a limited number of perks can be active at the same time. Many legendary weapons are already at the limit with all the simultaneous effects. If you were to add more perks without removing any, “bad things” could happen and the perks might not work correctly anymore.
According to Bungie, additional perk slots in the long run could lead to the notorious “power creep” returning. They first introduce a 3rd slot for Trials weapons, then for raid weapons, then in a future season for all legendary guns, and eventually all weapons would be too powerful. None would stand out anymore.
If only Master weapons received a new perk slot, many players would feel excluded. Because Master weapons are quite rare and only obtainable by truly dedicated Guardians. Proctor says: “We believe this would feel really bad for players who constantly die to Master weapons, where ‘Speed’ can stack with perks like ‘Reckless’ and ‘Rampage.'”
What do you think about the planned changes? Has one of the two perks already ruined a God-Roll for you? Do you think that Master weapons should only be prestige items or is it okay if the strongest players receive even stronger toys? Here’s more on the topic: The best weapons in Destiny 2 are only for the best players – unfair or right?

In Outriders you can choose from 4 different character classes. MeinMMO provides an overview of their traits and abilities.
This is Outriders: Outriders is a third-person shooter where you hunt for loot with up to two teammates. The title is developed by People Can Fly, known for the eccentric sci-fi shooter Bulletstorm.
The story takes place in a sci-fi setting on the planet Enoch. Players fight against various threats caused by a mysterious “Anomaly.” This anomaly is also the reason for the special abilities of the four different classes that you can choose from.
Update, April 2, 2021: We have added a section on class selection to the article. Additionally, all skills are now listed in the article, including the required level stages.
You have been able to test the classes in a demo since February 25. You can find all the important details about the Outriders demo on MeinMMO: All information about the free demo of the RPG shooter. In this special, we introduce the four classes individually.
These are the classes of Outriders:
Pyromancer
Technomancer
Trickster
Devastator
[toc]
In a team, powerful combos can be achieved.
This is how classes are structured: Each of these classes has its own healing mechanic, since there are no healing potions in Outriders. Here, aggressive play is rewarded with healing. Each class has its own way of staying alive.
Each class also has three subclasses or skill trees that allow you to specialize further. However, you are not limited to one subclass and can combine them as well.
How do skills work? Each class has up to 8 skills (you start with one ability) that favor a specific playstyle. You can use up to 3 skills simultaneously and swap them out at any time—even in combat. You unlock abilities by leveling up your class.
Up to the level cap at level 30, you will receive a total of 20 skill points, which can be used to unlock abilities and talents.
In the game, you can reset your points for free at any time and try out new options. MeinMMO introduces the 4 classes in detail below.
Class Selection and Solo Class
Which class should I choose? This mainly depends on your playstyle. The classes are quite versatile and support various play styles. In simplified terms, you can categorize the classes as follows:
Pyromancer: Medium range, mage, uses fire, good against masses of enemies
Assassin: Close range, hit and run, manipulates space and time
Devastator: Close range, tank, controls gravity
Technomancer: All-rounder, ranged combat and support, uses gadgets like ice and poison turrets, rocket launchers, or a Gatling gun
You can use this as a rough orientation.
Can you switch classes? No. However, you can create a total of six characters, which is plenty to try out all classes. However, you must complete the main story with each class.
Which class is particularly suitable for solo players? With the right skills, you can play all classes solo. Initially, however, it makes sense to choose the Devastator or Assassin. These are geared towards melee combat and deal high damage at the same time.
Which class is suitable for co-op? All classes are designed for teamwork. However, it can be said that the Technomancer and Pyromancer have some targeted support abilities. The Technomancer, for example, is the only class in Outriders that can heal, while the Pyromancer can set entire groups on fire.
As already mentioned: There is no one-size-fits-all recipe in Outriders. With the right skills, weapons, and perks, you can succeed with any class. Now let’s move on to the individual classes and their abilities.
Pyromancer (English: Pyromancer)
Pyromancer
This is how the Pyromancer fights: You should choose this character if you prefer to fight at medium distances and control the battlefield. He has several fire skills that deal area damage. This allows you to burn multiple enemies at once and keep them under control.
The Pyromancer relies on three core attributes: explosions, immobility, and burning. Furthermore, the fire mage can heal himself by marking enemies with his skills and taking them down.
These are the skills of the Pyromancer:
Thermal Bomb (Level 1): Sets your enemies on fire and makes them immobile. If an enemy dies under the influence of the Thermal Bomb, they explode and deal area damage.
Heatwave (Level 1): Shoots a wave of fire forward that burns enemies in its path and deals massive damage.
Feed The Flames (Level 3): Pulls your enemy towards you, burns them, and siphons their health to heal yourself. It also interrupts the enemy’s action.
Overheat (Level 6): Works similarly to Heatwave but is more about marking enemies and burning as many foes as possible. It is more of a support skill.
Volcanic Rounds (Level 9): Fills your magazine with fire ammunition that burns enemies. Bullets also penetrate foes, allowing you to set multiple enemies on fire.
Ash Blast (Level 13): This area attack puts multiple enemies within a certain radius in the “Ash” status and makes them immobile.
F.A.S.E.R.-Beam (Level 17): Fires a powerful beam that deals +125% of your anomaly damage and hits multiple enemies at once. Enemies are also burned and interrupted in their attacks.
Eruption (Level 22): Creates a powerful volcanic explosion at a target that also harms enemies in a small radius.
These skills can be combined into powerful power combos, allowing you to develop strategies. For example, you can first burn enemies that get too close with Heatwave, and then further pin them down with Ash Blast.
These are the subclasses and skill tree of the Pyromancer:
Ashbreaker: Mainly benefits from damage bonuses against marked enemies. Targets all-rounders.
Firestorm: Focuses on damage from skills. If you want to maximize your fire damage, this is your subclass.
Firestarter: This subclass focuses on survival skills and is more of a tank path. Your healing abilities are enhanced, and you can even be revived through a unique talent.
You can watch gameplay of the Pyromancer in Axiom’s video and get an impression:

Xbox players can save a lot of money on Outriders. At least, if they own the Xbox Game Pass.
Outriders is in the Xbox Game Pass
What is the Xbox Game Pass? It is a subscription model for Xbox consoles. You pay for a subscription and have a large selection of games. It will only cost you the subscription price. One could also call the pass Netflix for games.
How much does such a subscription cost? Depending on the platform, you pay monthly between €9.99 (each for PC or Xbox) and €12.99 (Game Pass Ultimate for PC and Xbox). However, keep in mind that Outriders is currently only supposed to appear in the Game Pass for Xbox.
The developers have emphasized several times that the story of Outriders plays an important role. Unlike many other shooters, the story is not just an accessory.
What is it about? Humanity has destroyed the Earth and is looking for a new home. This seems to be found on the planet Enoch. However, there are numerous dangers caused by the humans themselves as well as the planet itself.
The players’ task is to save the new world while investigating a mysterious signal that is being sent from somewhere on Enoch. They are to achieve these goals using mysterious powers awakened by the so-called anomaly storm at the beginning of the game.
How much playtime does the story offer? According to People Can Fly, the main story is supposed to deliver around 30-40 hours of gameplay, in addition to side missions.
The story of Outriders is bloody and brutal.
RPG with classes and crafting
These are the RPG mechanics: The gameplay mechanics involve the four classes of Outriders. These are
Pyromancer – The fire mage
Technomancer – The all-rounder
Assassin – The manipulator of space and time
Devastator – The gravity bender
Each class has special properties and play styles. In addition, each has its own skill tree, which splits into three subclasses. There are also 8 different abilities.
You level up throughout the story, unlocking abilities and skill points, allowing you to customize your classes as you like. It is useful that you can reset your skill trees for free at any time. Even in combat.
Then there are weapons and armor with which you can create builds. Crafting also plays an important role.
This is how crafting works: In Outriders, you modify weapons and armor with modifications. You can unlock mods by dismantling found equipment and then attach them to other gear. This allows effects to be transferred and combined.
However, this only works once you reach a certain equipment level. This is where the loot system of Outriders comes into play.
Loot mechanics of Outriders
Outriders has a conventional loot system. Equipment is classified into different rarity levels, which differ in color, designation, and properties.
What to expect in the endgame:With the expeditions, after the main story, there are 15 more missions and areas. These missions are gradually unlocked through the 15 world tiers, which determine the difficulty of Outriders.
These levels are reminiscent of the torment ranks from Diablo and simultaneously increase the chance for rare loot. In the endgame, you will mainly be occupied with playing the expeditions, improving your equipment and classes, in order to survive in the higher difficulty levels.
Outriders, however, will certainly be supported after release, improved, and maintained. Quality-of-life improvements are also possible.
Multiplayer and Crossplay – What about PvP?
How does multiplayer work? You can team up with up to two other players. All content can be replayed at any time. There is a matchmaking system where you can either join random players, create a group, or specifically join friends.
Is there PvP? No. You cannot compete against other players in Outriders. There are no PvP modes. Throughout the story, you encounter various enemies controlled by AI, including humans and monsters.
However, you can play nearly all activities with friends and random players. This includes the story, side missions, and expeditions.
How does crossplay work? Thanks to the crossplay feature, you can play Outriders across all platforms. This includes PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC (Epic, Steam), and Google Stadia.
The crossplay in Outriders works through Square Enix’s account system (via sqex.me), so you will need an additional account that you must link to your respective profile. You will then have the option to play all content with players of the mentioned platforms.
The developers say: In an interview with MeinMMO, the developers emphasized that the story and side missions can be played solo without any problems up to a certain point. The game’s scaling adjusts the difficulty for solo players.
By the way: Even if you play solo, Outriders requires a permanent internet connection.
How is it in the endgame? In the expeditions, however, it is different. The activities are designed for groups and are correspondingly challenging.
While it is possible to survive alone with the right equipment and adjusted builds, it requires significant time to assemble such builds and the associated equipment.
Outriders is not a live service game like Division or Destiny
What does that mean? Games like Destiny 2 or The Division 2 have laid out plans from the very beginning for how content will continue after release. Both games introduced a season model after release that continuously provided content.
Outriders takes a more “old school” approach and avoids such plans. There will also be no season passes or in-game shops with paid content. The developers state that they want to release a finished game.
Still undecided? You can also simply try the free demo of Outriders. In the test version, you can play the first chapter of Outriders and try out the four classes.
In Diablo 3 the start of Season 23 is just around the corner. We will show you the most important information here on why there is no season bonus and which starter sets you will receive from Haedrig’s Gift.
What is happening in Diablo 3? Today, on April 2, 2021, the kickoff for Season 23 in Diablo 3 begins. For players, this is a major event as all participants start from “scratch” in a season. Then begins a race to see who can reach the max level 70 the fastest, equip their character, and participate in the high tiers of the Greater Rifts.
A season lasts about three months and comes with some bonuses. The special feature of Season 23 is that it is based on the major patch 2.7.0, which brings important changes to the game. We will show you the details here so you are well prepared for the coming months.
Start of Season 23 – Time for PC and Consoles
When does it start? On PC, everything starts as usual on Friday evening at 5:00 PM. Provided the servers hold up.
On consoles, you’ll have to wait longer for the start.
Based on the start times of previous seasons, it is assumed that Season 23 will start on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch at 2:00 AM on April 3.
When does Season 23 end? As of now, no exact end date has been set. Blizzard usually announces the end of the season about two weeks in advance. Generally, a D3 season runs for three months. Therefore, the end could be in early July. Here on MeinMMO, you will be informed as soon as there is an official statement.
Season Theme of Season 23
What makes it special? In recent years, seasons in Diablo 3 have always started with specific season themes. For example, there was a fourth slot in Kanai’s Cube. However, there is no exclusive theme for S23 this time. The reason for this is the fundamental rework of the companions, which is already causing major changes to gameplay.
Companions like the Templar, the Rogue, or the Enchantress can now be equipped with 14 items. These are:
Relic
Head
Shoulders
Body
Hands
Wrists
Waist
2x Ring
Amulet
Legs
Feet
Main Hand
Off Hand
With the “Channeling” feature, you receive the effects of the legendary items your companions wear. This means that you can expand your builds with additional items without having to wear them yourself. Especially for solo players, Diablo 3 will become attractive again starting with Season 23. The special thing about this change is that it will remain permanent.
What about starter sets? By completing seasonal milestones, you will be rewarded with Haedrig’s gifts. This applies for completing milestone 2, 3, and 4. You will always receive a few pieces so that in the end you obtain a complete set for one class. This depends on which class you open the gifts with.
In Season 23, the distribution of starter sets is as follows (via diablo3.com):
This is what the starter sets of Season 23 look like in the game
Cosmetic Rewards from Season 23
What is that? For certain milestones in a season in Diablo 3, you receive cosmetic items as rewards. These consist of content from past seasons and new content.
In Season 23, you receive the green Emerald Serpent as a companion along with trousers and boots from the exclusive Conqueror set and a Treasure Goblin portrait frame. You already know this content from Season 11. If you didn’t unlock them back then, you have another chance now.
What’s new: You’re not just going to be satiated with old content. For completing the Season 23 journey, you will receive two new cosmetic rewards. A “Battleblock” portrait frame and the pet “Laconiyoungster”.
Best Class in Season 23?
What does the expert say: Before the start of Season 23, we from MeinMMO sat down with Diablo expert Leviathan. In the interview, we talked about which classes and builds will likely dominate the rankings in the upcoming season.
In recent weeks, there have been significant changes for the Firebird Sorceress. Just before the release of the patch, there were adjustments that catapulted the set back into S-tier of the tier list. Patch Notes for Update 2.7.0
What has changed? The companion system is at the forefront of the patch notes with its significant changes. The Templar, Rogue, and Enchantress have new or revised abilities. Here we show you a glimpse of that:
Templar:
Offensive (revised): Inflicts a massive blow on an enemy that deals 800% weapon damage. Increases the damage that the target and nearby enemies take based on the Templar’s strength for 3-6 seconds by 10%.
Guardian (revised): If you would take lethal damage, the Templar rushes to your aid, knocking back enemies within 15 meters, healing you based on the Templar’s strength for 15-25% of your life, and protecting you from damage for 5 seconds.
Rogue:
Nightshade (new): The Rogue creates a cloud that covers a 20-meter area for 2-4 seconds based on the Rogue’s dexterity. All attacks against enemies within the cloud deal critical damage.
Piercing Shot (new): A ranged attack that pierces enemies and increases the damage dealt to them based on the Rogue’s dexterity for 3-6 seconds by 10%.
Enchantress:
Temporal Pulse (new): The Enchantress summons a homing orb that deals 150% weapon damage to enemies and slows them down by 80% for 3-6 seconds based on the Enchantress’s intelligence.
Enhancement (new): Increases your highest static elemental damage bonus based on the Enchantress’s intelligence by 5-10%.
Prophetic Harmony (new): Reduces your skill cooldowns based on the Enchantress’s intelligence by 5-10%.
Delay of Fate (new): If you would take lethal damage, the Enchantress empowers you, allowing you to move faster through time for 3-7 seconds based on the Enchantress’s intelligence to evade death.
Balance Changes: Revisions were made to items for the Necromancer and Sorceress, as well as the Demon Hunter (Patch Notes via eu.diablo3.com). The Rathma set of the Necromancer received some changes that redefine the playstyle of this set with other abilities.
A revised mechanics for the Firebird Sorceress makes the set very strong and an S-tier in the tier list for Season 23.
The new “Terror Gear” set for the Demon Hunter has been adjusted and received a nerf.
Changes to the Rankings: You can now view the leaderboards for solo players in Greater Nephalem Portals with additional filters. Sorted by class sets, only players without class sets, and the usual overall view.
Are you looking forward to the new Season 23 in Diablo 3, or are the changes not attractive enough for you to return to the game? Discuss with other users here on MeinMMO and share your opinion about Blizzard’s hack ‘n’ slash.
The Battle Pass of Season 6 in Fortnite is packed with cool skins. But it doesn’t just stop at these skins, as you can unlock rare style variants for some of them. We will show you how to obtain the skins from the Battle Pass of Season 6 in Fortnite.
What kinds of skins are these? In the Battle Pass of Season 6, you can unlock various skins such as Agent Jones. As a bonus, there is the soccer player Neymar Jr. as the secret skin of the season. However, those who want to further customize their outfits can unlock them with special style variants. In Season 6, the variants are Chrome, Runes, and Gold.
Unlocking special style variants for skins – Here’s how to do it
What do you need to do? These style variants are only available to players who reach a high level in the current season. This makes the skins even rarer and more special. However, you can unlock the special appearance for only 3 skins from the Battle Pass.
So if you want to get the cool skins, you’ll have to gather a lot of experience points, play a lot, and level up. But first, you need to reach Level 100 before the race begins. In our Level Guide, you’ll find some tips on how to level up faster:
Let’s start with the first style variant you can unlock. This variant gives the skins a chrome color. The entire skin then appears in chrome and differs greatly from its original form. The variants will be unlocked at these levels for the 3 characters:
Chrome Variant for Tanara: Level 110
Chrome Variant for Raz: Level 130
Chrome Variant for Spire Assassin: Level 150
Style Variant – Runes
Another style variant for your 3 Battle Pass skins is Runes. This variant makes the characters appear a bit darker than the Chrome variant, but a purple glow can now be seen in certain areas of the skin. This helps to distinguish between the first two variants. They will be unlocked at these levels:
Runes Variant for Tanara: Level 160
Runes Variant for Raz: Level 180
Runes Variant for Spire Assassin: Level 200
Style Variant – Gold
As always, the gold variant of the skins cannot be missed. It seems to have become a tradition that has been established since Season 2 Chapter 2. Also in Season 6, you will be able to secure a gold variant of the Battle Pass skins once again. This time you get a purple glow that has settled in with the characters for the gold appearance. The variants will be unlocked at these levels:
Gold Variant for Tanara: Level 205
Gold Variant for Raz: Level 215
Gold Variant for Spire Assassin: Level 225
It is not yet certain whether these will be the only skins that will receive a gold variant. It is suspected that Lara Croft will also have a style variant in gold. We will update the guide as soon as more information about the variants becomes available.
Here you can see all the rare variants of the skins that are available in Season 6 Image source: FortniteIntel
Overall, you can unlock 3 style variants for each of the 3 skins from the Battle Pass – if more skins come along, we will update the article for you. While the skins may not be really new, these special looks make them appear quite different. If you encounter such an outfit in the game, you know that a player with a high level is behind it.
If you want to take on the challenge, you still have a lot to do after you reach Level 100. It won’t be easy, but who knows, maybe you will end up with one of the rarest skins in Fortnite after the season .

The ban was not permanent but lasted “only” 168 hours, or one week.
What are chat filters? In online and multiplayer games, there are often programs or settings that filter certain utterances in the chat. Often, only a word is censored with asterisks or gibberish. This is intended to prevent players from being insulted or attacked.
The case has led to some complaints in the Apex Legends community. In a thread on reddit, players complain that such a situation only occurs because developers only consider filters for the English language (via reddit).
Words like the Spanish “negro” (“black”), which have their origin in Latin (“nigreos”), are very present in many of the derived languages – and would be punished for it. Another example from German is the word “weniger”, which can also lead to problems.
The user MaybeAdrian welcomes the Japanese player in the club “I am not an English speaker and I know that companies do not care about non-English matters”. The user MonoShadow responds that this could even be limited to America – even English dialects and accents are affected.
The reddit user DoolioArt even goes a step further and calls it “total arrogance.” You cannot regulate games with multiple languages in this way. There are hardly any opposing voices to these accusations.
Indeed, it is probably quite difficult for developers to satisfy all players. Especially since language can often have different meanings in context. Theoretically, each spoken language that the game offers would require its own expert to devise a filter.
Anyone playing with other players should watch their language. This isn’t necessarily new, but a Japanese player in Apex Legends has now fallen victim to it. He was apparently banned from the game for trying to tell his teammates to flee in his native language.
What did the player do? A Japanese Apex player wanted to urge his team to retreat. He said “nigero”.
The word “nigero” consists in Japanese of two parts: the root “nige-” (逃げ, meaning “to run away” or “to flee”) and the ending “-ro” (ろ, the imperative form for verbs).
So he was just trying to strongly communicate to his teammates to flee. However, the chat filter of Apex apparently didn’t like that at all.
Why was he banned for it? Although “nigero” is a harmless word in Japanese, the chat filter of Apex Legends apparently recognized it as a variation of the word “Nigger”. That is a racist term directed at Black people and is generally condemned everywhere.
This is what the player’s ban supposedly looked like. Image source: reddit.
What is particularly surprising is that the character Octane in Apex Legends himself says “nigero” when he throws a grenade. Nevertheless, the player received a ban for the expression due to “hate speech”.
The ban was not permanent but lasted “only” 168 hours, or one week.

Pokimane is currently the most successful Twitch streamer in the world. However, this does not only have positive sides, as she clearly shows in recent streams – and she is even surprised at how many users have been banned in her chat.
This is Pokimane: Imane “Pokimane” Anys is currently at the top of the list of the largest female Twitch streamers worldwide with over 7 million followers. She streams games like “Among Us”, but is also active in Just Chatting.
She is one of the most well-known personalities on Twitch. Pokimane is now so successful that she even introduced a limit for viewer donations.
However, success also has its downsides: The streamer sometimes shows in her streams the kind of messages she receives from users in the chat who have subsequently been banned. She looks at these messages live and then decides whether to lift the ban or let it stand. During one of these streams, she also briefly touched on the topic of ban numbers.
User bans are already high, but bots are even crazier
Here are the numbers: During one of these streams, in which she shows some of the rather unpleasant messages, she emphasizes that only those asking to be unbanned are being shown here. One can hardly imagine how many people are actually banned.
Then she asks her mods if they could quickly provide a number of how many people have been banned in her chat. They respond immediately:
On the day of the stream, 250 accounts were banned
Real users total about 350,000 bans
The numbers of banned bots exceeded ten million

When the streamer hears the number “350,000” herself, she first asks in surprise: “There are no bots included? that’s crazy.” When it is also revealed that over 10 million bots have apparently been banned in her chat, she comments only: “What? Seriously… what? Wow.” Afterwards, she moves on to the next messages.
Even before the numbers were discussed in the stream, Pokimane spoke about the content of the messages she shows in the unban streams. She explained: “The only way to deal with this is to laugh about it.”
That daily life as a successful Twitch streamer is not always easy has been shown in connection with Pokimane several times: In the summer of 2020, for example, she took a temporary break from Twitch due to the overwhelming amount of hate she was receiving.

Valheim has already talked about what new content will be coming with the upcoming updates. One of these contents is a new area: the Mistlands biome. And this area could become really disgusting for many players.
What kind of area is this? The Mistlands are a dark forest with giant, ancient trees. You can find the biome – depending on seed – commonly at coastlines and near swamps or dark forests.
In the Mistlands, it is always night, so you will always have the “Cold” debuff, which reduces your stamina and health regeneration. If you want, you can already take a look at the biome. On the map, it looks like a dark forest with an even darker texture.
Why will it be disgusting? It is still not entirely clear what content will appear in the Mistlands. We already know for sure that a new boss awaits you there. However, there are already some clues indicating what to expect there:
it is always dark, almost like in a cave
there are webs and nets everywhere, but they are currently empty
“Ancient Roots” stretch through the area and will apparently be the special resource
giant trees with thick trunks rise high, but they do not have leaves
skulls that are too large even for a troll
All of this makes players already suspect that the Mistlands will be a forest full of giant spiders – and possibly the boss will even be such a spider. The partially tubular nets could harbor eight-legged creatures that are larger than the Vikings themselves. In our gallery, we have increased the brightness a bit because otherwise, hardly anything can be seen:
The trees reach high into the sky.
Whose skull is this?
Pretty large tunnels …
Giant nets
Left the Mistlands, right the dark forest
On reddit, players are already sure that spiders will appear here. The user datastar763 expresses his concerns in a thread titled: “Arachnophobia is fun! (not)” (via reddit).
New content for Valheim
When will the Mistlands be released? So far, there is no specific date for the Mistlands. The developers have only listed it as “Update 4” in their roadmap for 2021 (via Steam).
Before that, likely, three other updates will be released for which there is also no specific date yet. Since Valheim was originally developed by only five people and the success came somewhat unexpectedly, it is hard to say when the updates will come.
What else is coming? The next major update is “Hearth and Home”, which is already known a bit more about (via PCGamer). The update focuses mainly on content for building and crafting and brings for example:
new recipes for cooking, which means there could be new best foods
possibly new stations for cooking
new building components for bases to create even better structures
After Hearth and Home, Cult of the Wolf, Ships and the Sea and finally the Mistlands will follow. Additionally, the developers are working on new areas and improved systems. However, bugs must be fixed first.
Destiny 2 is also being updated today, on April 1, with the new update 3.1.1.2 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, as well as on PC and Google Stadia. For you, this means maintenance work and a short server downtime. MeinMMO provides you with important times and known changes.
This is no joke today: In the last weeks, Destiny 2 has released update after update and changed the mysterious algorithm. And also today, on April 1, the new hotfix 3.1.1.2 awaits the Guardians. This has been announced for a while and is not an April Fool’s joke, it certainly wouldn’t be a good joke.
Update 7:05 PM: The hotfix 3.1.1.2 is now available on all platforms. On PlayStation 5, the download size is 215 MB.
The update brings necessary fixes, but also comes with a short forced break and server maintenance. MeinMMO shows you the planned changes and which times are relevant for you today. The article will be kept fresh as usual throughout the day until the evening. This way you stay up to date and won’t miss any details or patch notes later.
You still have time before the update to take advantage of a rare offer from Banshee:
Maintenance on 01.04. – All about the process and server downtime
These times are important today:
From 6:00 PM German time, maintenance work will begin in the background
By 6:45 PM, you will be kicked out of the game at the latest and the Destiny servers will go completely offline.
At 7:00 PM, the servers will go back online – Update 3.1.1.2 is being rolled out worldwide
Once you have downloaded (and copied) the hotfix, you can log back in
By around 8:00 PM, the maintenance work is expected to be fully completed
Don’t forget: During the entire maintenance work, there may be queues and login issues. As always, the planned times may shift, and you may have to wait a bit longer for the update. Third-party applications or the official companions app are only very limitedly accessible during the maintenance.
The Destiny developer already gave a little preview of the content of today’s hotfix on March 25 (via Bungie.net). However, there are no big surprises or game changers on the list.
What did Bungie reveal?
The Nightfall Triumph for “The Terminus of Insight” will now be granted as intended when the required score is reached.
The puzzles in the Lost Sectors for the Xenophage quest now work as intended.
Heavy ammo no longer spawns below the Dreaming City Crucible map.
If you find an exotic engram at the Postmaster that turns out to be an enhancement core upon picking it up, according to Bungie, that is correct. Both items are represented similarly in the post.
The patch also brought a change for the new strike “The Praefectus.” According to Bungie, the popular save spot in the boss room is now not available anymore. Guardians are now supposed to face the challenge on a “balanced” battlefield:
Bungie is aware of these new issues but cannot fix them today:
The Master Magazine mod does not grant bonus reserves for “Sola’s Shard.”
A faulty quest node is displayed for the Praefectus Strike in step 5 of the “Trial of the Challenger VII.” Players must start the strike from the upper strike node to access the activity.
Problems reported with Steam chat are still being investigated.
Guardian Games class items from 2020 no longer reflect the placements from previous games.
The public event “Aether Ritual” does not recognize participation in the event.
Patch Notes for Update 3.1.1.2 of Destiny 2
Each update is accompanied by patch notes. These are an official listing of all fixes, buffs, and nerfs that have been made. It is only from the patch notes that we then learn what has really changed in Destiny 2.
The patch notes are now available to us in English. We will embed them here:
What do you think about the fact that Destiny 2 is being diligently supplied with many smaller updates even in the middle of a season? Do the constant breaks bother you, and would you prefer large but more spaced-out updates? What should Bungie fix next – let us know in the comments.

In GTA Online, the Stunt Week has begun. You can earn 500,000 GTA Dollars pretty quickly there – if you have a bit of skill behind the wheel.
This is what’s happening in GTA Online: The Stunt Week is now ongoing in GTA Online, which is actually quite self-explanatory. You can rake in a lot of GTA cash and rewards for particularly daring maneuvers. This includes stunts with motorcycles and cars, but also cool actions with parachutes.
Get 500,000 GTA Dollars and more rewards
Here’s how to get the 500,000 dollars: To pocket the half a million in GTA Online, you simply have to complete five random Monster Stunts throughout the week. Monster Stunts involve huge jumps at certain locations on the map. A popular Monster Stunt is, for example, the jump onto the airport parking garage. Possible Monster Stunt locations can be found here in the video by “Just Jake Club” on YouTube:

To have the stunt counted, you need to land as accurately as possible and cannot make any mistakes. It takes a bit of skill, but good stunt drivers should quickly rake in the cash. To achieve the necessary speed, it’s worth using a fast vehicle.
These bonuses are also available: The Stunt Week rewards not only Monster Stunts but also other actions. For example, you will receive double GTA Dollars for parachute missions. Additionally, you will receive a Bigness-Jackal sweater for participating in a parachute mission (it’s said to be obtainable until April 14 if earned). All parachutes, parachute backpacks, and parachute smoke options are also free during the Stunt Week.
Moreover, you will earn triple GTA Dollars and RP in the “Landing Zone” mode. You enter the landing zone via parachute jump and must then defend it. The triple reward lasts for a whole week as well.
On April 1st, the Item Shop in the shooter Fortnite Battle Royale offers the new skin ‘Diamond Hanz’ (Aktien-Kurt). This is Epic Games’ response to the hype in gaming around stocks, which was triggered by the Reddit /wallstreetbets and has captivated many gamers.
What kind of skin is this? The skin is called Diamond Hanz, in German Aktien-Kurt. It is a strange bald, pixelated figure that does not seem to fit Fortnite at first glance.
In German, it comes with the slogan ‘Buy! Hodl! Win!’ (in English Buy! Hodl! Win!). The skin is available for purchase until the night of April 2nd.
The figure costs 1200 V-Bucks, which is about €12. This is no April Fools’ joke from Epic Games; this is a real skin.
What is the deal with this strange skin? The skin is a reference to several memes related to the current stock frenzy that has captured parts of the gaming community.
This is what the skin looks like in the Fortnite Cash Shop.
The name ‘Diamond Hanz’ is a reference to ‘Diamond Hands’, a term for stock traders who hold onto a stock with ‘diamond-hard’ resolve, even if it drops below the price at which they bought the stock.
‘Hodl’ is a misspelling of the term ‘Hold’. It refers to holding onto a stock. ‘Hodl’ became a rallying cry in the subreddit /Wallstreetbets, encouraging users to hold onto GME (GameStop) shares even when the price threatened to plummet.
The figure itself and the image are part of numerous ‘Stonks’ memes that encouraged the purchase of stocks like GameStop. The ‘Stonks’ image first appeared in 2017 on Facebook (via knowyourmeme).
This is the classic ‘Stonks’ meme (via knowyourmeme).
GameStop Triggers Stock Frenzy
What is this stock frenzy about? For several months, some gamers and influencers have entered a stock fever. This is primarily connected to the subreddit /Wallstreetbets.
Therefore, investors assumed that GameStop would go the way of video rental stores and would gradually lose business, closing more and more locations and sinking deeper into the red.
As a result, large investors in hedge funds bet against GameStop’s stock price, in so-called ‘Shorts.’
This is what the skin looks like in Fortnite.
On Reddit, users banded together, encouraging each other to buy GameStop shares and drive the price up. They motivated each other with pop culture memes.
It became stylized as a kind of battle: We, the little people, against the big shots and hedge funds. They repeatedly used images from pop culture to stylize it as a battle of good against evil in the worlds of The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, or The Matrix.

When there is a very high demand for shares, the stock price rises. This puts pressure on those who have bet against the stock. This is called a ‘Short Squeeze.’
This behavior, where retail investors agree via social media to buy a stock and encourage each other with memes to hold and continue buying that stock, has caused huge turbulence on the stock market. Hedge funds are not used to such behavior.
The stock of GameStop has since experienced wild price fluctuations, rising by several thousand percent, then rapidly falling, only to rise again.
The Fortnite skin now references this phenomenon – with the battle cry ‘Hodl.’

What is The Lord of the Rings Online? The MMORPG The Lord of the Rings Online transports you to the fantasy world of Middle-earth, where the novel trilogy “The Lord of the Rings” by J.R.R. Tolkien takes place.
Classically, you can expect a lot of quests and tactical battles against orcs, trolls, and other monsters. The contents are designed for groups, but at the beginning, you can cope well solo. Most of the content can also be unlocked for free, but requires quite a bit of grind.
What’s happening in the game right now? The developers have now completed the story of the books, but there are more adventures to tell. Just at the end of 2020, LoTRO received “War of the Three Peaks” a new DLC with new content and more content is said to be in preparation.
Who is the game suitable for? The game mainly appeals to fans of the novels. Experiencing Middle-earth is something special. Additionally, The Lord of the Rings Online is a very classic theme park MMORPG with a focus on story and quests. If you enjoy completing quests that tell interesting stories, you’ll find plenty of fun here.
Will it run on my PC? The game is soon 14 years old and thus doesn’t need a strong computer. With an Intel Pentium 4 or similar AMD processor, the minimum requirements are very low.
How is the game rated? The game is rated “Very Positive” (80%) on Steam based on over 12,000 reviews. The extent and strong community are praised. However, criticism mainly addresses the outdated graphics.

What is Phantasy Star Online 2: In this online RPG, elements of science fiction are mixed with fantasy. For a long time, the game was not available in the West. Now you can play PSO2 on Steam. The game is not a classic MMORPG, as there is no open world. Instead, you meet other players in large hubs where you start quests and missions. You can then complete these missions solo with NPCs or together with friends.
Is PSO2 an MMORPG? This is a special case: technically, it is a lobby-action-MMO, but it possesses many MMORPG elements.
What’s happening in the game right now? The launch on PC at the end of 2020 was buggy and a small disaster, but the developers have since fixed the problems. You can now enjoy the game without issues.
Who is the game suitable for? If you are tired of much fantasy and are looking for some variety, you should check out Phantasy Star Online 2. You can try out various classes and diversify your character with skills and cosmetic items.
Will it run on my PC? With a dual-core processor, you can already enter the world of Phantasy Star Online 2. 2 GB of RAM should pose no barrier either, as Windows 10 requires at least 4 GB RAM.
How is the game rated? The game has received a “Very Positive” (84%) rating on Steam based on over 9,000 reviews. The unique combat system and comparatively low grind are praised. However, there is criticism regarding the user interface, which is outdated.
What is RuneScape? RuneScape is certainly one of the most well-known and oldest MMORPGs. It is considered one of the founding fathers of the modern MMORPG genre. As in any MMORPG, you improve your hero, enhance your skills, and upgrade your equipment. Crafting is a particularly important factor due to essential items. Group play also plays a significant role in RuneScape.
The game offers everything that an interesting MMORPG needs: an extensive character editor, a crafting system, and exciting battles from an isometric perspective.
What is RuneScape Old School? If you want to experience the very old RuneScape experience, you can also play RuneScape Old School. This is the old version from 2007 that forgoes many features of the current game.
Who is the game suitable for? If you are looking for a classic that is still playable today, take a look at RuneScape. The game offers plenty of gameplay to this day and captivates many players in front of their screens, even though the game seems a bit outdated. Thanks to regular content updates, you’ll still be busy for months. However, you should also note that the game is more aimed at group players than solo players.
Will it run on my PC? Thanks to its age, you can also play the game on older systems. The developers have also adjusted and improved the graphics over time, but the system requirements remain low.
How is the game rated? The game is rated “Very Positive” (89%) based on over 12,000 reviews. The strong social aspect and the fair game system, which almost completely dispenses with pay systems, are praised.
What is Star Wars – The Old Republic? The MMORPG by BioWare places strong emphasis on the story. Like in other BioWare games, you must make decisions within quests that have long-term consequences. The game is fully voiced and offers a wealth of content. You can experience an exciting story solo. Alternatively, you can dive into PvP battles or engage in space battles.
Many of the game’s contents can also be enjoyed for free. However, the major expansions are available only for a fee and cannot be unlocked using in-game currency. There are also some restrictions for pure free-to-play players. For instance, you can only complete a limited number of instances or PvP battles each week.
Who is the game suitable for? If you are a Star Wars fan looking for an engaging MMORPG with an exciting story and lots of solo content, then you should give SWTOR a chance. Graphically, the game still looks good today, and it continues to be updated with major updates. However, note that specific content is still paid.
Will it run on my PC? The game will turn 10 this year and has reasonable system requirements. A dual-core processor is a must; a quad-core is naturally better. 3 GB of RAM should be standard for most PCs these days. The Old Republic also runs smoothly on processors with integrated graphics.
How is the game rated? The game is rated “Very Positive” (90%) based on over 23,000 reviews. The exciting story and atmosphere of the game are praised, but some criticize that some content is behind a paywall. Thus, pure free-to-play players face some restrictions.
Pro
exciting story
many solo contents
great “Star Wars” atmosphere
full voice acting
Contra
some restrictions for pure free-to-play players
major expansions only available for purchase

What is Tree of Savior? The Korean MMORPG is developed by some of the creators of Ragnarok Online and is also fundamentally oriented towards this game. You get an MMORPG with cute graphics and many PvE contents. PvP is only represented in specific arenas.
You level your character up to 450 and collect plenty of equipment or upgrades. Additionally, you can unlock advanced classes. As is common in such Asian games, you should not be opposed to grinding, as you will have to repeat many tasks to progress.
What’s happening in the game right now? Tree of Savior still receives regular updates from the developers, and a spring event is starting soon. According to SteamCharts (via SteamCharts.com), an average of 1500 to 2000 players are online.
In summer 2020, Tree of Savior received a substantial update with fresh endgame content. In addition, there are regular new quests and world bosses, and the level cap is also increased. Much content is achievable even as a solo player.
Who is the game suitable for? If you’re looking for a colorful and chaotic MMORPG that focuses on PvE and don’t mind hard grinding, then you should check out Tree of Savior.
Will it run on my PC? In general, you don’t need a strong computer to play Tree of Savior. There are two small hurdles: first, the game requires at least 8 GB of RAM, and players with very old systems could have problems. Additionally, the game requires more than 30 GB of storage space on your hard drive.
How is the game rated? The game is rated “Mixed” (58%) based on over 9,000 reviews. The pretty graphics and interesting content are praised. However, the game is mainly criticized for the poor balancing of classes. Additionally, there are some pay-to-play barriers.
In Outriders has not only an extensive story campaign. With expeditions, there are also endgame activities in the cooperative shooter that are meant to keep you engaged for a long time. MeinMMO summarizes what to expect.
What is Outriders actually? This is a cooperative shooter from People Can Fly. You can hunt for loot with other players, play through the story, and choose from four different classes.
How long does it take to reach the endgame? The main story of Outriders is supposed to last around 30-40 hours, and side missions extend the playtime a bit more. Once you finish the story, the expeditions are unlocked.
What are expeditions? These are individual missions. Each leads to a different, new area. Once you complete the story, you will find a new mission table in your camp. There, you can see the available expeditions.
This video from Legacy Gaming shows a short clip and explains the features of the expeditions:

How do you start an expedition: Go to the newly available mission table in the camp and just start the desired expedition from there. Not all expeditions are unlocked at the start, however.
How many expeditions are there? There are supposed to be a total of 15 expeditions. The final expedition represents the final boss and is called “The Eye of the Storm”.
However, it seems that not all expeditions are available at the same time. How exactly this rotation system works is still unclear. There may be a timer that changes the expeditions at a specific time. Apparently, there are always 3 missions active.
How do you unlock expeditions? With the expeditions, there are so-called challenge levels. Unlike the 15 world levels available throughout the game, these are limited to expeditions only.
How do you increase these challenge levels? The fastest way to do this is to complete expeditions at the highest level available to you. The faster you do this, the more levels will be unlocked.
The higher your challenge level, the more expeditions you unlock, until you ultimately unlock the 15th expedition. Additionally, you need 40,000 “Drop Pods”. This is a new in-game currency that is unlocked through expeditions.
You can also spend the Drop Pods at the new merchant available in the camp with the expeditions.
Top left, you see the challenge levels.
New Currency for the Endgame
What are Drop Pods used for? This currency is needed in addition to the challenge levels to unlock certain expeditions. In the video, there is an expedition that requires challenge level 4 and also 40 Drop Pods to be unlocked.
Additionally, you can spend them at the new merchant Tiago in the camp.
What kind of merchant is that? He sits in your camp after the story and sells particularly valuable items. In the video, the merchant even has legendary loot on offer.
What is legendary loot? These weapons and armors are the most powerful equipment pieces in Outriders. You will need them to craft the strongest builds and succeed at higher challenge levels.
The faster, the more loot
This is how an expedition goes: You choose a mission on the map for which you fulfill the conditions. Once you are on your way, a timer starts. The video does not show many scenes from the expedition, but the team took about a quarter of an hour and received a three-star rating.
The higher the rating at the end of an expedition, the better the reward, and the closer you get to the next challenge level.
What are the rewards? Usually, it consists of a lot of loot, and in addition, there are the Drop Pods mentioned above.
You can watch how an expedition unfolds in this video:

Expeditions are meant to keep you busy for a long time, but what comes after the release?
How much playtime does the endgame encompass? According to the developers, expeditions are supposed to keep players engaged for at least another 40 hours, with the campaign making it over 70 hours. Whether they provide enough variety remains to be seen.
Will anything else be added? Currently, it is unclear how things will proceed after the release of Outriders. The developers have consciously decided against a live-service model, season passes, and microtransactions and aim to deliver a “finished” game.
Have you already checked out Outsiders? Have you perhaps even reached the endgame? What do you think of the loot shooter? Feel free to write it in the comments.
First data from Patch 9.1 reveals a highlight in World of Warcraft. Stewards will likely become playable characters!
Just yesterday, we reported that there is finally a sign of life from Patch 9.1 Chains of Domination. In just two weeks, the patch should land on the PTR. However, a mistake by Blizzard allowed dataminers to download the first game data from Battle.net. During this, a discovery was made that is sure to please many Kyrian fans.
What happened? A new entry was found in the files for the playable races of World of Warcraft in Patch 9.1. The file named “mortal_steward” was discovered, which made many players take notice. Because “Steward” is the English term for the stewards from Bastion – the little owl beings that support you everywhere and are basically the craftsmen of the Kyrians.
Upon initial suspicion, the dataminers also searched older game data more closely and found new entries, making it clear: Stewards will be a new allied race in World of Warcraft!
Character creation reveals playable classes
The dataminers were able to gather more information about the allied race when transferring the game data. It is already clear that Stewards are available for both the Alliance and the Horde and can play the following classes:
Warrior
Mage
Rogue
Priest
Monk
During character creation, you choose options like ‘Forsaken Mark’ if you want to play a fallen Steward.
There was also an initial look at character creation. Although Stewards don’t have as many customization options as, for example, Humans or Night Elves, they do have some interesting settings. These include:
Armor is hidden: Similar to Druids in shapeshift form, the armor of the Stewards will mostly be hidden. Only weapons, shields, and off-hand weapons will be displayed; the rest disappears into the feathers. It would be a shame if it didn’t shine in all its glory.
A Steward Warrior with 2 one-handed swords.
Racial abilities of the Stewards
While comparing the game data, entries for the racial abilities were also discovered. These are bonuses that every Steward receives, regardless of class. They are:
Overhanded (Passive): Aeons of work in Bastion have made you masters of craftsmanship. When crafting items, there is a 7% chance of not consuming resources.
Uhun Accident Insurance (Passive): The dense feather coat protects you from falls. If you fall more than 20 meters, you begin to flutter, drastically reducing your fall speed for 10 seconds.
Motivating Caw (Active): Unleashes an inspiring chirp that increases the damage dealt and healing done by all allies within 10 meters by 2% for 15 seconds. 2 minutes cooldown. Instant cast.
Summon Aspirant: You summon a Kyrian Aspirant who assists you with their offer of goods for 5 minutes. However, sometimes the Aspirant is hungry, thirsty, or bored and refuses their services. 15 minutes cooldown. 3 seconds cast time.
Flying mount is a rider
Especially interesting is the flying mount of the Stewards, which players receive when they reach Steward level 60. Data from the quest indicates that all Stewards at level 60 will be invited to Mikanikos. He is basically the highest Steward that players already know from Bastion.
Mikanikos convinces the Kyrians to allow Stewards to ascend as well, so they can serve even better. After a long discussion, the ascended Kyrians agree to this. Your Steward will then be rewarded with wings to fly just like the Kyrians.
However, the endeavor somewhat fails. While the Steward gets his wings, he seems unable to control them properly. Stewards are actually capable of flight, but need outside help to be able to utilize it. Therefore, Stewards can summon a rider instead of a mount!
The quest line ends with Mikanikos sending you to look for “a mortal who will teach you the art of flying.” Thus, Stewards need to find characters that can serve as their riders and essentially hold the reins. A cool feature that also involves prominent characters.
Just as Dark Iron Dwarves can unlock various drilling points, Stewards can find NPCs throughout the game world and invite them to assist them as flight trainers. This NPC is switched out via a new ability that works like the hunter’s stable.
You can get Li Li as a ‘rider’ in the Valley of the Four Winds.
Previously confirmed characters who can serve as your riders include:
Li Li Stormbrew (Pandaria)
Farmer Yoon (Pandaria)
The Incredible Akazamzarak (Dalaran, Legion)
Chromie (Tanaris, Caverns of Time)
Meerah (Vol’dun)
Lady Moonberry (Ardenweald)
Image of Jandice Barov (Western Plaguelands)
Murky (Highmountain, Legion)
You will have to roam through Azeroth – and the other worlds – and find characters who offer to be your riders and want to take the reins. For the rarest riders, however, you will need to put in a lot of effort and sometimes complete puzzles.
All other mounts can be used by Stewards as usual.
All other mounts work as usual. Stewards can use regular mounts from level 10, which is where they also start as an allied race.
When will the Stewards come into the game? When this race will be playable and how they will join the Horde and Alliance in the realm of mortals is still unclear. However, looking at the current state of World of Warcraft, the delays with Patch 9.1 Chains of Domination, and the current date, it can be assumed that it will take a while longer.
When the time comes, we will of course write an owl message.

With the release of Outriders, many new players are now entering the co-op shooter. Therefore, we provide you here on MeinMMO with 5 quick tips for getting started.
What is Outriders? Outriders is a third-person shooter that you can play alone or with up to three players. The game is developed by People Can Fly.
Especially for newcomers, it can often be confusing at the beginning to make sense of the numerous systems. To help you get started, we have here 5 quick tips for you that hopefully make the start in Outriders easier.
[toc]
Outriders has no items for healing
Unlike most other loot shooters and RPGs, Outriders offers no healing items at all. There is an automatic health recovery, but it only restores a small amount and only if you are not hit.
This is how you heal instead: Each of the four classes in Outriders has its own healing mechanic, which also greatly influences the gameplay.
The Technomancer heals through the damage he deals with skills and weapons
The Pyromancer heals when enemies marked by his skills are killed
The Assassin regenerates health points through melee kills
The Devastator recovers by enemies dying in close proximity
With this system, Outriders takes an offensive approach, as you generally need to play aggressively and stay in motion to heal continuously.
Here’s why it’s worth it: It pays off early in the game because of world tiers. The higher the world tier, the harder Outriders becomes. At the same time, however, there are corresponding rewards. Therefore, you can start working on your builds early, for which the crafting system is essential.
These functions are offered by crafting: You can
improve the rarity level
increase attributes
exchange modifications
switch weapon variants
increase the level of gear
By dismantling gear, you can extract the mods and add them to your collection. Once you have unlocked crafting, you can combine your equipment according to your preferences and refine your builds.
This is what the crafting menu looks like.
When will crafting be unlocked? After the first chapter of Outriders, which is also playable in the free demo, you will set off for the First City. There you will meet Dr. Zahedi. You will need him to modify your gear.
We will create a comprehensive crafting guide for you. But what resources do you need for crafting?
What you need to know about resources
In Outriders, scrap is the standard currency with which you can buy weapons and armor from vendors. You receive scrap through mission rewards and by selling loot. Additionally, there are more resources like iron and leather that you obtain by dismantling gear.
How to get the most important resources: Therefore, it is worth collecting as much loot as possible. This is easiest by repeating missions and looting chests. The contents of the chests are reset every time you reselect the desired story point in the main menu.
You can also repeat side missions that give you extra loot as a completion reward. Although you can’t get legendary weapons from the chests, you will receive a large amount of gear. You can either use this, dismantle it for resources, or sell it to vendors.
You can obtain scrap by selling gear and quickly fill your account.
The guides are quite helpful
Outriders has numerous values and status effects that are important for combat. Those who are new often do not know which status values have what effect.
There are also various types of damage and effects that impact you and your enemies. Therefore, you should utilize the extensive in-game guides. These list all important information about status effects and also provide other useful explanations.
Where do I find the guides? You just need to switch to the main menu in the game. From there, go to Guides and find the different categories. This is what it looks like when you search for status effects:
Here you see an example from the guides.
Activate automatic pick up
In Outriders, you will constantly receive equipment and weapons. However, on the battlefield, it can happen that you miss a drop. With the automatic pickup feature, you can avoid that. The option ensures that all loot is automatically picked up once you die or leave the region.
How does it work? In the Options menu, you will find the toggle option for automatic pickup under the “Gameplay” category.
There you can determine the rarity level and set which loot is automatically picked up. This is what it looks like:
By the way: You can also pick up all loot lying around with the press of a button. On consoles, this is done with the Down button on the D-pad, and on PC with “H”.
Each type has different strengths and weaknesses in Pokémon GO . Effectiveness is crucial in battle. Here we show you a table with the type effectiveness overview and reveal all strengths and weaknesses.
What is type effectiveness? There are 18 types in total. Each of these types is strong or weak against other types. When you want to defeat a Pokémon in a raid or the arena, it is best to choose a type that is effective against your opponent. This way, you will defeat your opponent faster and deal more damage.
Type effectiveness is incredibly important in Pokémon GO, as often the attack bonus given for an effective type makes the difference between victory and defeat.
Effectiveness Table – Strengths and Weaknesses of All Types
This is the table: We keep the table quite simple. We list the respective type and then show the strengths and weaknesses, that is, what the respective type is effective against or what can effectively attack this type.

Use this infographic: We are also including a table created by Niantic here. There you can see all strengths and weaknesses, as well as the resistances and immunities of the respective types:
How effective are attacks really? Here we show you the exact numbers of how effectiveness impacts your attacks. Attacks that are very effective deal damage x 1.4. Less effective attacks, on the other hand, only deal damage x 0.714. While this might not seem dramatic at first, in raids it often makes a difference of many seconds or, in extreme cases, even several minutes.
What exactly does immunity mean? This usually exists in the Pokémon games, but in Pokémon GO, it is implemented differently. A type that is immune to another type takes no damage at all. You could use as many attacks as you like, but the Pokémon takes no damage. However, in Pokémon GO, immunity is not as drastic.
A type that is immune simply receives even less damage than from attacks that are not very effective, but still takes some damage. All immunities are marked with a black X in the infographic. You should avoid attacking with any type against which the other type is immune, as this will deal the least damage.
Here’s how a battle works: Above, we explained the theory of types. In practice, however, it is a bit different. For example, you might be fighting against a Pokémon that has two different types. A Charizard, for example, is of the Flying and Fire type. Ice is effective against Flying, but Ice is not effective against Fire. Therefore, Ice is ultimately only normally effective against Charizard. The effectiveness cancels out in this case.
Conversely, the Rock type is effective against both Flying and Fire. This is why Charizard has a double weakness to Rock. In Pokémon GO, that means that the Rock type does even more damage to Charizard than a type that is only normally effective.
Here’s how to increase your damage: Additionally, there is STAB. This stands for “Same Type Attack Bonus” – a bonus when your attacking Pokémon has the same type as the attack it uses. Here’s the example of Charizard. It possesses the types Fire and Flying and knows the move Heat Wave of the Fire type. Since both Pokémon and attack are of the same type, STAB applies here.
However, Charizard also knows the move Dragon Claw of the Dragon type. This move does not benefit from STAB with Charizard, as Charizard does not possess the Dragon type.
This is very important in battle: Effectiveness is the most important thing in battle. Before each battle, think about what weaknesses the opponent’s Pokémon has and whether your Pokémon know the right attacks.
Also consider whether your opponent may have two types and whether you can benefit from a double weakness.
We will show you which Pokémon you should attack with. This includes the best attackers of each type:
Until Star Citizen is in a release state, we will probably have to wait a long time. But with a small indie game, you can already experience a very similar gameplay. MyMMO author Andreas Bertits has taken a look at Starship EVO.
Yes, I am also waiting for Star Citizen. Exploring a huge galaxy, being a pirate or trader, and being able to command my own ship with a crew of friends is something I’ve wished for since I played Privateer in 1993. But Chris Roberts developer studio Cloud Imperium Games simply needs more time to finish Star Citizen. Such a project simply cannot be put together in a few years.
I was all the more surprised when I discovered a video of Starship EVO on YouTube. The indie game, previously called Skywanderers, promises me that I can build my own spaceship and explore a galaxy with it. The best part: you can already play in an early access version. Since it only costs 16.79 euros on Steam, I just took a look at the title.
Off to a galaxy full of possibilities
The first steps: So I created a character – which is a very rudimentary process, simply entering a name, choosing one of five races, and selecting a gender and hairstyle. And the tutorial quickly taught me how to build my first spaceship.
What stands out immediately: Starship EVO does not have the spectacular visuals of Star Citizen, but still looks good with its stylized comic look. I explored the environment from a first-person perspective. The most important tool in the game is the multi-tool, which allows you to manipulate objects and play with gravity. With this tool, you build blocks and arrange them to create buildings or ships. It somewhat resembles Lego. The tutorial does a great job of teaching you how this works. There is nothing to complain about the controls; they are intuitive and quick.
This trailer gives you an insight into the game:

The launch into space: Soon I created my first ship, jumped into the cockpit, and took off. What I initially thought was the texture of a ring world in the distance turned out to be a real planet that I could fully explore. With the ship, I raced over mountains and oceans, which left an impressive feeling. I could land everywhere to see what awaited me – although there was still almost nothing. Starship EVO is still in an early developmental phase. Instead of flying with a spaceship, Starship EVO also offers the option to drive vehicles across the landscapes.
But that was just the beginning. It is possible to launch into space and visit other planets. A warp drive is necessary to reach them quickly. Starship EVO gradually opens up and reveals a vast galaxy full of possibilities – which the early access version has not yet fully utilized. As mentioned, this is an early version, and aside from exploration, building objects, and fighting, there is not much to do yet.
Fights make sense when you are on a server with many other players where factions have already formed. This leads to exciting space battles or shooter fights on planets. However, the confrontations currently lack a bit of “punch.” And literally. The weapons sound weak, and explosions seem unimpressive.
Fights in Starship EVO could be staged a bit more spectacularly.
But I am confident that much will change here. Interestingly, you need to strategically manage the ship’s energy during space battles. Do you need more juice for the shields or do you want to fly faster? You can adjust this based on the situation. Furthermore, it is possible to target specific systems of enemy ships in battles to damage their weapon systems or hull.
Players can, by the way, collaboratively create massive space stations and completely furnish them or build huge battleships together and then go to war with them – for example, to take control of planets and their resources. Building such constructions takes a lot of time. Ships can be tuned and repaired – even in the midst of battles, which can significantly prolong the fights.
A real competitor to Star Citizen? Starship EVO impressively shows what a single indie developer can achieve. While there is still a lot of work to be done on the game, it is already fun to build ships or space stations, zoom through space, and engage in some skirmishes. The essential game systems are present, making Starship EVO feel like a large sandbox that is gradually being expanded with new content. It is not a patchwork of various modules.
With more development time, Starship EVO could become a very exciting online game. Whether it reaches the scope and epic scale of Star Citizen is questionable. However, Cloud Imperium Games should still be concerned that one person is creating something that large project by Chris Roberts aims to implement with a huge team.
Even if some fans of Star Citizen may not like to hear this and perhaps protest, Starship EVO already feels more like ‘cohesive’ in its early version than what Star Citizen offers in its alpha. For that reason alone, Cloud Imperium Games should be a bit worried. Because who knows what else will emerge here.
