The Devastator is somewhat of the tank of Outriders. MeinMMO shows you a solo build that allows you to take a lot of damage while also dealing significant damage.

What can the Devastator do in Outriders? The class can control gravity and has powerful abilities that allow you to create earthquakes, reflect enemy bullets, or impale your opponents with earth pillars. Additionally, it can hover and launch powerful drops attacks from the air.

We present to you a build from YouTuber Gaming_Wolf_, which is especially suitable for solo players and can, according to him, be played even in Expeditions, the endgame of Outriders.

The build is based on epic gear, so you are not dependent on legendary items and can create it quite easily.

Devastator Build – Skill Tree, Abilities, Gear

What kind of build is this? Gaming_Wolf_ relies on the subclass Wrecker and invests all skill points into the upper branch of the skill tree. This is the most offensive subclass and provides massive damage bonuses for weapons.

The skills are designed to group enemies at one point and then wipe them out in one shot. Remaining enemies will then be mowed down using weapons and damage buffs.

Thanks to the Golem skill, weapon and armor mods, you are still quite robust and can recover massive health points. This makes the build not only offensively powerful, but it is also quite hard to kill.

These perks you need:

• Chaos (x4)
  • Your weapon damage is increased by 8 %.
• Expert: Shotguns
  • Your damage dealt with shotguns is increased by 12 %.
• Armor Breaker (x3)
  • Your armor penetration is increased by 10 %.
• Mastery: Shotguns
  • Shotgun damage is increased by 15 %.
  • The chance of looting this weapon type from enemies is increased by 20 %.
  • Shotguns: Pumpgun, Automatic Shotgun
• Bludgeoner (x2)
  • Weapon damage dealt at close range is increased by 15 %.
• Expert: Assault Weapons
  • The damage dealt with assault weapons is increased by 12 %.
• Champion
  • If you use “Protection” abilities, your weapon damage is increased by 45 % for ten seconds.
• Dead Center
  • Your critical damage dealt with hits is increased by 20 %.
• Mastery: Assault Weapons
  • The damage with assault weapons is increased by 20 %.
  • The chance of looting this weapon type from enemies increases by 20 %.
  • Assault Weapons: Assault Rifle, Light Machine Gun, Submachine Gun, Double-barreled Pistol.
• Suck Them Dry (x1)
  • Your leech damage with weapons is increased by 5 %.
• Bullet Storm
  • You reload your weapon 20 % faster.
• Ammunition Stockpile
  • Your magazine is increased by 50 %.
• Confrontation
  • If you take damage from enemies, they will experience a reduction of their physical damage by 10 % for five seconds. Double effect if you also deal damage to the enemy.
• Altered Charge
  • When “Kinetic” abilities end, your weapon damage is increased by 70 % for ten seconds.

The Skills of the Devastator Build

The build relies on the following abilities:

• Golem: Gives you armor that protects you from 65 % of incoming damage. Lasts 16 seconds.
• Endless Mass: This ability summons a gravitational stone that attracts all enemies in the vicinity and inflicts bleeding damage. It then explodes, damaging all enemies in the area.
• Gravity Leap: You can hover in the air and launch a powerful drop attack on targeted enemies.

This is how it’s played: With Endless Mass, you can concentrate enemies at one spot and take out smaller enemies in one shot. You can then either jump into the fray with Gravity Leap, or eliminate the remaining enemies with your weapon. Golem protects you from damage and makes you the offensive tank.

Weapons, Armors, Mods

These weapons you should use: You will primarily be engaging in close combat. So focus on weapons like shotguns, assault rifles, or submachine guns. These will be enhanced by the Wrecker skill tree anyway. The mods on your weapons are also important.

These weapons and mods are used by the YouTuber:

• Primary Weapon (Assault Rifle)
  • Life Stock: For every enemy you kill with a magazine, you recover a significant amount of health points once you reload. (Cooldown: 1 sec.)
  • Minefield: Kills spawn small mines that damage enemies in the vicinity of the slain enemy. (Cooldown: 1 sec.)

Minefield is a particularly good offensive modification. The damage from the explosions is actually higher than the mod states. The passive bonuses from the skill tree further enhance the damage.

Life Stock ensures that you constantly recover health points as soon as you reload. In combination with the abilities of the Devastator, you will become the offensive tank.

• Secondary Weapon (Shotgun)
  • Icebreaker: Killshots on frozen enemies trigger an explosion that damages enemies in the vicinity. (Cooldown: 1 sec.)
  • Improved Freezing Bullets: Shots cause a frost effect on enemies. (Cooldown: 4 sec.)

This weapon is particularly effective against boss enemies due to the frost effect. However, the armor mods are even more important for the build.

These are the essential armor mods:

• Golem of Death: Extends the duration of Golem for each kill by 2 seconds
• Resistance: When Golem is active, resistance is increased by 33 %
• Perseverance: Extends the duration of Golem by 100 %
  • Optional but very useful: Buckshot Shells (Increases shotgun damage by 10 %) and What Goes Around (Incoming hits have a 30 % chance of being reflected)

In combination with the modifications, Golem becomes the most important skill of this build, making you an absolute tank, lasting significantly longer and being extendable with kills.

In Outriders, everything revolves around gathering equipment and materials. Titan is a particularly sought-after resource. In this guide, MeinMMO shows you a farming method that allows you to easily farm Titan while also getting valuable loot.

How do you get Titan? Besides rare drops from bosses and mini-bosses, you can obtain Titan by dismantling equipment that is epic or legendary. Thus, your loot is the best source to acquire Titan.

What do you need it for? Titan is needed to level up equipment from the epic and legendary tier at the workbench. Especially at higher tiers and in the endgame, you will need endless Titan, as the costs increase.

That’s why we show you a spot where you can get epic items with every successful run, making it a reliable source of Titan. The advantage: You can also build your builds, unlock mods, and with a lot of luck, even get legendary items.

Farming Titan and Loot – Here’s how

What kind of farming spot is this? Throughout the main story of Outriders, you will encounter the Chrystaloid. This is a powerful creature that you can easily defeat. You meet Chrystaloid in the sixth chapter “Forest Enclave” as the second boss of the game – or as the fourth if you also count Gauss and Moloch.

Here’s how to do it:

• Kill the boss
• Return to the lobby
• Select the corresponding story point
• Kill the boss again

What can you get? Once you’ve managed it, there is epic loot as a reward every time. On the first kill, you even receive a guaranteed legendary drop.

With every subsequent kill, you will receive two epic equipment drops. This works even on World Tier 1, the easiest difficulty level.

How do you defeat the boss? It can get a bit tricky, especially for solo players. The most common approach is:

• In the first phase of the fight, you should immediately position yourself on the left side of the field
• Make sure not to stand too far from the boss, as you will deal less damage
• Aim for his shoulders, which are the weak points
• Dodge his attacks by taking cover. The game shows you his area attacks, so pay attention to the red warnings.
• In the second phase, insects will spawn now and then. Here you should be careful not to be overwhelmed, as they will appear behind you while you are focused on the boss.

With a group, ideally, you need about two minutes for the whole procedure, so you can farm epic loot quite quickly, dismantle it, and get Titan. There’s another method available earlier: the “Hunted” and “Hunter” missions.

What are these missions? In Trench Town, you unlock these types of quests that send you hunting for monsters and villains. In these missions, you also receive guaranteed epic drops.

Another method is recommended by MeinMMO reader Dunedain: He farms his Titan in the side mission “Historian-Timeless,” which you find in the main mission “Inferno.” Kill the boss, leave the artifact behind, and simply exit the mission again. You can repeat this as often as you like. There are several such missions where this works.

Keep in mind that these methods are good for the story and the path to the endgame. Once you unlock the expeditions, you will have better ways to get loot and Titan.

The Technomancer (engl. “Technomancer”) is considered a flexible all-round class in Outriders. MeinMMO presents a build that is easy to build and suitable for most situations.

What can the Technomancer do in Outriders? The class is characterized by its versatility. The Technomancer can be equipped for almost any situation and is well suited as both a DPS class and a supporter. He has the only true healing skill in Outriders and regenerates health by dealing damage.

In this guide, we present a build by YouTuber Vulkan, which is currently one of the most common combinations for the Technomancer. (via YouTube) The build mainly relies on the Pest Bolts skill and is easy to build for beginners on their way to the endgame.

You don’t need any special tier 2 mods or any other special parts for this. Not even epic items are necessarily required. The build is suitable for almost any situation and can be used both solo and in a group.

Technomancer Build – Skill Tree, Abilities, Equipment

What kind of build is this? The build focuses on the Tech Shaman subclass, the middle branch of the skill tree. The specialization provides bonuses for self-healing but also useful debuffs for your enemies.

By choosing the perks, your self-healing is significantly improved, and you also deal more damage as you can inflict the Weakness status on enemies. Additionally, your resistances and health points are greatly increased.

With the last perk, you even have a chance to be revived after death.

Weapons, Armor, Mods

This is the equipment you should use: For your weapons, you should focus on guns with large magazines and high fire rates. This makes it easier to maintain your self-healing, and the larger the magazine, the more health is restored when you take out enemies with Pest Bolts.

• Weapon Mods: You have relatively free choice here. Mods like Essence Thief, which further increases your self-healing through damage, are best.
• Armor Mods:
  • Critical Analysis
    • Pest Bolts increase critical hit damage by 30%.
  • Reserve Magazine
    • Grants a second Pest Bolt magazine.
  • Trick on Deck
    • While Pest Bolts are active, each kill grants 30% additional bullets for the magazine.

Trick on Deck is the most important mod here as it allows you to maintain Pest Bolts for a significantly longer time. Ideally, they can even remain active permanently.

For all other mods, you have the freedom to choose based on your preferences.

These Technomancer Skills Fit Best

The build relies on these abilities:

• Pest Bolts (Level 7): The next magazine of your active weapon inflicts poison damage. If you hit an enemy, other nearby enemies are also poisoned.
• Freeze Gun (Level 1): Inflicts damage and can freeze enemies.
• Life Wave (Level 13): This is the only ability in the game that can actively heal you and your party members. Activating it heals each team member for 33% of their maximum health and your Freeze Gun for 50% of its health points.

Until you unlock Life Wave, you can also use Tormentors or Weapons of Destruction. These are strong offensive skills that can be used effectively against bosses.

The essential skill of this build is Pest Bolts. Thanks to the armor skill, these are almost permanently active; you just have to make sure to keep killing enough enemies. The poison effect deals additional damage, even over time. Additionally, you will heal yourself this way.

The Perks for the Technomancer Build

These are the necessary perks: The Tech Shaman gives you powerful bonuses:

• Anomaly Body (x4)
  • Increases maximum health by 10%.
• A.N.E.T.A. Armor
  • Increases resistance by 20%.
• Exposed Poison
  • Whenever an enemy is affected by poison, they also receive the Vulnerability status effect.
• Mark of Doom
  • Vulnerability caused on the enemy is 40% more effective.
• Armor Plates
  • Increases armor by 20%.
• Blur Protection
  • The health regeneration limit increases by 20% of maximum health. So when you seek cover and don’t take damage for a while, you regenerate significantly more health points.
• Life Magnet (x2)
  • Increases life leech from abilities by 6%.
• Sols-56 Freeze Tanks
  • Frost lasts 20% longer on enemies.
• Suction Module
  • Increases life leech from weapons by 5%.
• Field Medic
  • When you use a gadget ability (Freeze Gun, Life Wave), the effect of all healing effects for the player and allies increases by 30% for 7 seconds.
