In the Twitch stream, streamer Summit1g showcases his new mouse and learns that it has an enormous value. It is so valuable that he will probably lock it away at night.
Where does the mouse come from? Streamer Jaryd “Summit1g” Lazar has been in the streaming business for a long time. With about 5.9 million followers and around 40,000 viewers on average (via sullygnome.com), he is among the top streamers on TwitchTV. One of his sponsors, finalmouse, has now supplied him with a new mouse in God-of-War style.
With the help of his viewers, Summit1g finds out the value of the mouse: it is $100,000.
What makes the mouse so expensive?
This is what Summit1g says: In the stream (via Dexerto.com), he shows his viewers the mouse and explains: “I know, this sounds like something that only idiots would say, but these are real diamonds.” He holds the mouse up to the camera. It is a special edition. At first, he suspected that the diamonds were not real. However, his sponsor explained to him that he should regularly have the stones steam cleaned at a jeweler. This made it clear to Summit1g that the diamonds must be real.
As the gemstones sparkle in the light, viewers ask how much the item is worth. “How much? Phew, no idea. I don’t think it’s worth as much as you claim,” the streamer comments on the question. Time and again, messages appear in the chat stating that the mouse is supposed to cost $100,000. But Summit1g does not want to believe that.
The streamer’s viewers then show him the tweet from the manufacturer, where the mouse is introduced with a value of $100,000:

This is how the streamer reacts: When he sees the tweet and recognizes his mouse there, he says: “Damn. I will lock this thing in the safe every night. I might really do that.”
Summit1g then explained to his concerned chat that he would take good care of the mouse. He doesn’t want to use it often, but wants to use other versions of this model that do not have diamonds embedded in them.
In the highlight video on YouTube, you can see the complete presentation of the mouse (via YouTube.com).
This is what happened to another streamer with expensive hardware: Summit1g visibly appreciates his expensive hardware item. The Twitch streamer xQc got the best graphics card that money can buy a few weeks ago: an RTX 3090. However, when he wanted to install it in his PC during the live stream, he noticed a mishap.
What is the most expensive piece of hardware you own and what would you do with Summit1g’s $100,000 mouse? Let us know your opinion here on MeinMMO in the comments.

The currently most successful Twitch streamer Félix “xQc” Lengyel has been banned from the role-playing server “No Pixel” in GTA 5 for the 4th time this weekend. Following the new ban, he seems pretty down, as this one lasts for 30 days. We will tell you on MeinMMO why xQc has been banned again and when he will be back.
This is why xQc is banned for the 4th time: This time, there is no clear singular incident for which xQc is being punished, unlike when he shot two cops from a prison cell. The current most successful streamer in the world, xQc, states in a stream: There are 3 reasons for the renewed ban from the GTA 5 server “No Pixel 3.0”.
xQc threatens streamer with getting him banned from the server
He then lists 3 minor offenses, which he himself says are actually ridiculous trivialities. The viewers would surely think he is joking, as one cannot possibly get banned for such minor issues:
He talked about a streamer who played a policeman and arrested him. xQc threatened him, saying he would “lose his job” and “he would never catch the train again.” This is seen as a threat that he, as a famous streamer, will ensure that the cop gets banned from the server and can no longer participate in “No Pixel.” A “train ticket” is a reference to the chance of getting onto the server.
xQc will not appeal the ban, remains banned for 30 days
This is xQc’s view: He says that these are all “trivial accusations,” actually ridiculous offenses.
However, he has now come to terms with being banned for these alleged offenses. The people making these decisions are clearly biased against him.
xQc therefore will not appeal the ban and will submit to his fate. He apparently has concluded his time with “No Pixel” and no longer wants to play it.
The Twitch clip shows the incident with the car:

When could xQc play GTA 5 No Pixel again? The ban lasts 30 days – it would expire on May 18.
This is the first ban with a clear time limit that xQc has received. He previously received 3 “perma-bans”, which were always lifted after a week. Just with the last ban, xQc had repeatedly complained and looked forward to a lifting to be able to play on No Pixel again.
This time, however, he seems to accept the 30-day ban.
This is how it is being discussed: On reddit, the offenses are being discussed:
One says that these “minor offenses” are not as minor as xQc portrays. All 3 incidents are clearly against the rules and xQc wanted to gain an advantage through exploits or tricks. It is acknowledged that the “Scuff” glitch is used by many, but the other two issues are clearly ban-worthy.

The 30-day ban is seen as the end for xQc, believes another reddit user. Because the hype around GTA 5 “No Pixel” is fading on Twitch. If xQc now starts a different game, he will surely not return.
And every Monday greets the ban of the number 1 streamer on Twitch
What does the news say? The odd thing about the news is that xQc had doubled his viewer hours on Twitch last week when he was allowed to play GTA 5, and was again by far the largest streamer on Twitch. Also, GTA 5 gained a lot with xQc on the server and was by far the hottest game on Twitch.
In the week after his last ban, xQc’s viewer hours dropped significantly, and GTA 5 lost 10% of its viewer hours.
The same situation that xQc dominated Twitch we had two weeks ago already – before xQc was banned, he was the largest streamer with GTA 5.
The ban of xQc is particularly interesting because xQc has so much success with GTA 5 “No Pixel” and the game also benefits from his wild escapades, but evidently, this business relationship just doesn’t work:
The open world of GTA 5 and GTA Online is one of the best in recent years. It is heavily based on real places in Los Angeles, USA. MeinMMO presents 5 locations that you can also find in the real world and how they look in comparison.
Where is GTA 5 set? The main setting is the city of Los Santos, located in the fictional state of San Andreas. The real counterpart is clearly the US metropolis of Los Angeles and Hollywood.
There are numerous places to discover that are either partially or almost directly based on their real-life counterparts. We show you some places from GTA 5 and GTA Online that you can also find in real life.
1. Galileo Observatory
What kind of place is this? The Galileo Observatory overlooks the city of Los Santos and is named after the famous astronomer, physicist, and mathematician Galileo Galilei. Throughout the main story of GTA 5, players visit this location several times.
In GTA Online, the observatory also plays a role, as you must go there in preparation for the Casino Heist to hack a security guard from the casino. The observatory also plays a role in the Doomsday Heist.
In this heist, you must prevent a war and thus the apocalypse. The heist DLC introduced jetpacks, the Oppressor Mk II, a flying car that also functions as a submarine, and other military vehicles with significant power to the game. In our overview, you can find all heists in GTA Online and how much money they bring.
This is the real-life inspiration: The Galileo Observatory is clearly based on the Griffith Observatory (via Wikipedia), which overlooks the city.
2. Eclipse Towers
What kind of place is this? The Eclipse Tower plays an important role in GTA Online. Players can buy the most expensive apartments in the game there. In the story, players must jump off the roof of the building with a parachute.
In online sessions, the apartments here are a major meeting point. You can invite other players there and walk around the apartment together, drink, party, or watch TV. Additionally, there is a planning room for heists. From there, you can initiate many of the base heists.
Additionally, there is a spacious garage available for rent. It can accommodate 10 cars and 3 motorcycles. A great way to take guests from your apartment downstairs and show them your collection of supercars.
This is the real-life inspiration: Sierra Towers is a 31-story building. Initially, the apartments in the building were rentals, but now the segments are sold individually.
Over the years, celebrities and musicians such as Emma Watson, Sandra Bullock, and Sir Elton John have lived there (photo via Wikipedia)
3. Del Perro Heights
What kind of place is this? In GTA Online, there are three apartments of the company Dynasty 8 available for purchase in Del Perro Heights. These are apartments 4, 7, and 20. They range in price from 200,000 to 400,000 GTA$.
The advantage over Eclipse Towers is primarily the lower price. However, it is also particularly convenient that the building is directly adjacent to Maze Bank West. You can also start a business there as a CEO. It’s quite practical to live just around the corner.
This is the real-life inspiration: The building is called Searise Office Tower and is not far from Hollywood. However, it is simply an office building.
You can view the original in the reddit post by DylanP3692, who made a photo tour through L.A. and recognized some places from GTA 5 (photo via reddit).
4. Maze Bank Tower
What kind of place is this? In GTA 5, the tower is the headquarters of the Maze Bank, the largest bank in Los Santos. In GTA Online, this bank plays an important role. Since the “Further Adventures in Finance and Felony” expansion, players can purchase an office in the tower and build their own empire.
Additionally, the building features a large parking garage for your vehicles on 3 floors. You can also rent a helicopter from SecuroServ directly from the building and start missions from there.
However, this comes at a cost, as the price for such an office is 4,000,000 GTA$. As a CEO of a company, you can earn a lot of money yourself. Here are some methods we’ve listed for you: 13 ways to make money quickly in GTA Online in 2021.
The Maze Bank also plays a role in the story of GTA 5. Michael, Trevor, and Franklin rob it during a heist with a helicopter.
This is the real-life inspiration: The Maze Bank Tower is directly based on the U.S. Bank Tower in Los Angeles. Obviously, both are large bank headquarters and the buildings visually resemble each other very closely. You can find a direct comparison at thetowerinfo.com (photo via thetowerinfo.com).
5. Cayo Perico
What kind of place is this? The island of Cayo Perico was introduced in the last major update of GTA Online. It is a tropical island that appears paradisiacal at first glance.
However, it is ruled by the drug lord El Rubio, who uses the island as a transit point for drug trafficking. In GTA Online, players can initiate a large heist and relieve him of his most valuable possessions.
The Cayo Perico Heist is the most lucrative of the heists in GTA Online. Additionally, it is the only heist that can also be completed by solo players, making it particularly appealing to single players.
What is the real-life inspiration? Cayo Perico is based according to gta.fandom.com on the island of Norman’s Cay (via Wikipedia), which was part of the Medellin Cartel’s territory and is located in the Bahamas (via gta.fandom.com). The cartel used the island as a stopover for their cocaine smuggling into the USA.
Additionally, the Fyre Festival failed on the island in 2017, resulting in a huge disaster. The festival had to be canceled due to underprovision, safety, and health issues. The organizer was later convicted of fraud.
After the update, the casino became one of the most important places in GTA Online. In addition to gambling, the Casino Heist was introduced. The Casino Heist is one of the first heists that offered different approaches. You can complete it either disguised, with stealth, or in full action mode.
This is the real-life inspiration: The original building was based on the Hollywood Park Casino, which ultimately moved to a new building (via pinterest.com).
There are still numerous other places in GTA 5 that can also be found in Los Angeles and around the city. Rockstar Games has shown great attention to detail in this regard.
This is also one of the reasons why players are eagerly awaiting a new GTA. There have been wild speculations for some time about where a new GTA might be set.
Have you already taken a tour of Los Santos? Which place do you like best? Do you have any other attractions that fit into this list? Feel free to let us know in the comments.

Amazon has to stop the development of a large new AAA MMORPG based on The Lord of the Rings. They themselves are disappointed with the development – fans are lamenting as well. There simply aren’t any good games based on The Lord of the Rings anymore.
They promised “in-game cinematics”, stunning graphics, and an art style that differs from the usual appearance of the “The Lord of the Rings” films and games.
The game was supposed to take place some time before the events described in “The Lord of the Rings”.
The new online game had no name yet and was being developed by Amazon Game Studios together with Leyou Technologies, a Chinese company. However, Leyou was purchased in December 2020 by the giant Chinese company Tencent, and the contract for the “The Lord of the Rings” game had to be renegotiated. No agreement could be reached, and therefore the game is now dead. This was reported by insider Jason Schreier on Saturday.
This is what Amazon says: They share in an official statement: They love the “The Lord of the Rings” brand. Amazon is disappointed that they cannot bring the game to their customers now.
Players want new games based on The Lord of the Rings
This is how fans are reacting: Since the news became known, there has been a lively discussion about the end of the “The Lord of the Rings” MMO, which was still largely unknown but eagerly anticipated by many.
There is especially a large group of “The Lord of the Rings” fans who had the game on their wish list. They are lamenting: Although there is already a good PC MMORPG for the fantasy epic with “The Lord of the Rings Online” (2007), it is widely regarded as “nice but outdated”. Other highlights of “The Lord of the Rings” as a game have also been a long time ago. Many users on reddit agree: They want a new game set in Middle-earth.
User MisterPanda says on MeinMMO: “Very sad. The plan was probably to have the game finished by the release of the Amazon series, to milk the fans nicely. But it looks like total overwhelm.
And unfortunately, HDRO will not work on the PS5 without a complete engine upgrade. I love the game, but the graphics just don’t hold up anymore. And unfortunately, you don’t hear anything more about it either.”
The role of Amazon is being critically questioned by many. A Twitter user believes that Amazon should rather stick to its delivery service: “They should focus on delivering games, not developing them.”

The criticism of Amazon comes after two games from Amazon, Breakway and Crucible, were already cancelled. The MMO New World has been postponed multiple times. The criticism of Amazon often accompanies skepticism towards Google Stadia: Google and Amazon are huge tech companies whose ventures into gaming have had little success so far.
However, the role of Tencent and the situation in China are also being critically viewed. One must keep in mind: The rights situation with “The Lord of the Rings” made the situation different than with Crucible, Breakaway or New World. In the end, Amazon was not responsible for the development that came into the project through Tencent.
A Twitter user said: “I believe this was the first time Amazon is not the bad guy.”
The big hope for MMOs at Amazon is, alongside New World, the team around MMORPG icon John Smedley. He is one of the fathers of Everquest. He and his team have been working for Amazon for over 4 years:
The new MMORPG Swords of Legends Online is launching with 6 classes here in the West. We at MeinMMO share details about the last of the classes: the Spear Master. This class is especially useful for groups. Accordingly, we have again received exclusive gameplay.
What can the class do? The Spear Master is a melee fighter and uses a spear that allows for lightning-fast attacks while also being able to defend effectively. This is reflected in his two skill paths, which can be freely switched between outside of combat:
As a General, you assume the role of a DPS class. As a Spear Master, you can hurl enemies into the air, making them incapacitated. Additionally, your attacks will generally become stronger and harder, leading to more damage.
As a Phalanx, on the other hand, you become a Tank. You will receive a taunt and can summon a shield wall that protects you and your allies from incoming damage.
Why is the Spear Master so important for the group? Basically, the Spear Master can take on the role of a tank. This role is often too rare in MMORPGs. Additionally, he acts as a kind of engineer, from which the entire group benefits.
This way, the Spear Master can summon a construct where players can repair their broken equipment and sell unnecessary items. This keeps your inventory clean, which is especially important during longer dungeon and raid runs.
How exactly the class plays will be shown to you in this gameplay video on YouTube. The material was provided exclusively by the publisher Gameforge:

What lies behind the Spear Master: The founder of the Spear Master school was named Yuejiang. She believed that the chaos of the world is triggered and amplified by power struggles around her. She could not bear the suffering of ordinary people and therefore left the Hundergrass Valley to establish a utopia.
In her new kingdom, like-minded individuals gathered, whom she taught her martial arts. Due to her weapon, she was henceforth called Spear Master.
More about the other classes of Swords of Legends:
Swords of Legends makes a good impression during the first play
What kind of MMORPG is this? Swords of Legends is a theme park MMORPG from China that started in beta there in 2017 and was released in 2019. It places emphasis on a story and offers many PvE contents like quests, dungeons, and raids. It is set to be released in the West in summer 2021.
I personally have already played Swords of Legends Online in Taiwanese and was particularly impressed by the gameplay and graphics. A small highlight is also that you can fly while standing on a sword through the world.
Players are still having problems logging into Outriders . This seems to mainly affect PS4 and PS5, as the complaints are focused around these consoles. MeinMMO summarizes the situation for you.
This is the problem: The login issue appeared during the Outriders demo. Numerous players got stuck on the login screenshot. Often, it takes forever to get into the game.
Some even report waiting times of over an hour, or that they eventually just gave up. The problem seems to most often affect PS4 and PS5, but a few Xbox players also report similar login difficulties.
Threads in the Outriders subreddit show players complaining about the issue.
What does the developer say? People Can Fly already included this in their initial summary post (via reddit) regarding known issues with the co-op shooter. However, there still seems to be no proper solution even after over 2 weeks.
So far, there is no statement about a timely fix for the problem. It remains to be seen when they will address the issue. A larger patch is already in the works, but the exact contents are currently unknown: Outriders confirms next patch, aims to deliver a lot of fixes.
Issue causes frustration, some workarounds might help
What affected players say: Essentially, it’s the same for everyone experiencing the problem. They can either not log into the game at all, or they can log in after a long wait. This understandably causes a lot of frustration among players.
Some are already demanding a refund, like the user aopeck, who wrote on April 17: “I haven’t been able to play on PS5 for over a week. This is a complete disgrace. I want a refund from you / Sony” (via reddit).
Frustrated players are also venting their anger on Twitter:

Many other affected players write similar comments about it. Players report login times between 4 minutes and over an hour. In desperation, some workarounds have been gathered that seem to work in some cases.
Here’s what you can try if you are having the problem:
User StarKiller93041 recommends starting a connection test during the login attempt. Apparently, in almost every case, it worked for him immediately after the test was completed (via reddit).
Other players recommend simply disabling the connection on the console for a short time and then reactivating it. This apparently helped as well,
Most, however, report that repeated restarts of the game have enabled login.
The developers also recommend clearing the console’s cache memory when the problem occurs by completely turning it off and unplugging it.
It’s not guaranteed that these workarounds will help you, but many players report that one of these methods usually works for them.
What happened there? A more serious bug may have caused People Can Fly to first have to deal with other issues. A bug occurred after patch 1.05 that could cause some players to lose their entire inventory.
World of Warcraft offers a lot of secrets that players must uncover. One of these secrets has now been revealed by chance and subsequently confirmed by ambitious seekers: the secret mount Slime Snake.
What kind of mount is this? The Slime Snake is a massive worm with teeth. Visually, the mount resembles “N’zoth’s black serpent“, only with a green-yellow, slightly paler color.
The hunter player Durandil discovered this while actually recording footage for a completely different video, namely on how to complete Plaguefall on Mythic difficulty solo:

What do I need to do? There are essentially only three steps you need to follow to get the snake:
Visit the dungeon Plaguefall on Heroic or Mythic difficulty solo
Defeat the last two bosses – you can skip the trash and the first bosses
Pet the Slime Snake
After defeating Baroness Stradama, you will find a “Strange Slime Snake” in the boss room of Domina Venomblade in the Plagueborne Pools. Approach the snake and pet it.
It is important that there can only be one player in the dungeon at all times. Apparently, it is possible for a player to defeat all trash and Domina Venomblade, then leave the dungeon to allow a second player to get the kill on the final boss and thus the snake.
According to experts from the Secret Finding Discord, this is currently the only reliable way to assist your friends. Otherwise, it all works only reliably if you are solo (via Discord).
Why it is difficult: At the moment, most classes have trouble completing Plaguefall solo. Apparently, only tank classes and Beast Mastery hunters can do it without major issues.
Other classes, especially those with few survival options such as mages, may have greater difficulties. However, since the mount is account-bound, you can also try it with a corresponding twink.
Is there no other way? At the moment, the aforementioned method is the only one that works reliably. Any attempt to acquire the snake with a group has failed.
However, it is conceivable that there is a specific trigger that is simply easier or is always triggered when playing solo. In other words: perhaps teammates unintentionally sabotage the attempt to tame the snake.
Those who really want the snake are probably well-advised to level up a tank – such as a Blood Death Knight. That might still take less time than finding another way. And truly determined players are not deterred by some grind:
In the League of Legends, Hampus “promisq” Abrahamsson made it to the finals of Worlds 2019 with G2 Esports. Two years later, it turns out that the 27-year-old Swede is a hard flamer, even by LoL standards.
Therefore, promisq is well-known: The Swede was part of G2 Esports in 2019, one of the most successful teams in Europe in recent years. The team managed to win the LEC in 2019 and later almost became world champions. G2 only fell short against “SuperCarry Doinb” and his team FunPlus Phoenix in the finals of Worlds 2019.
promisq stepped in as a substitute supporter for G2 because there were concerns about a recurring injury to the main supporter, Mikyx; thus, he was part of G2 from March to November 2019, but was ultimately rarely needed.
At the moment, he plays for the team “Astralis” as starting supporter in the LEC: They finished second to last in the regular season.
The top team of G2 in 2019. promisq is the 2nd from the left.
“Brain-dead Asperger child”
This is now coming to light: A high-elo player has publicly revealed how much of a flamer the Swede is. He allegedly pressured him to play the champion Renekton in a ranked game. If he didn’t, promisq would sabotage the game on purpose.
After the game, the high-elo player asked what problem promisq had with him. He replied curtly: ‘Hope you get cancer! Have a nice day.’
The player says: One must have a huge ego to say something like that. Because he thinks the only meaningful thing promisq has ever achieved is “to win a tournament he didn’t even play in.”

Subsequently, the strategy coach of Cloud 9 came forward and shared his experiences with promisq. He says he has been diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome. This is generally known.
promisq then asked him in a match how “hard he had been dropped as a baby” and called him a “brain-dead Asperger child.”
Team says: The behavior does not align with our values
This is how his team reacts: Astralis has distanced itself from this behavior in a statement and condemned it. It does not align with the team’s values.
They will now resolve the matter with promisq internally.

promisq is already 27 and things did not go well for Astralis in the Spring Split at all. It could be that promisq is leaving the professional scene of LoL on this highly unfavorable note.
In LoL, flaming is somehow part of the culture. Riot Games once explained in a video series why the players of this MOBA often tread this dark path:
The MMORPG Tower of Fantasy (PC, Mobile) is hosting a Closed Beta in China. Several gameplay videos have now been uploaded on YouTube from this test. The game visually resembles Genshin Impact, but with a combat system that places a strong emphasis on action.
What does the new gameplay show? In China, there was a Closed Beta that was not region-locked. Therefore, players from all over the world were able to create videos of Tower of Fantasy.
Notably, the action-packed combat system and the dark storyline distinctly set this MMORPG apart from Genshin Impact.

Gameplay focused on the combat system of Tower of Fantasy.
In addition to the battles, exploring the open world is a focal point. There, you can jump particularly high, climb, glide, swim, and also use mounts.
Since Tower of Fantasy is set in a rather modern world, you can use motorcycles as mounts, for example.
What is the story? This is currently hard to say, as the game was only playable in Chinese. However, in the first gameplay video, you see a female character who guides us through the tutorial dying. Overall, the story appears darker than in Genshin Impact.
The beta was not locked for western players, but release is still uncertain
Will the MMORPG come to us? Officially, the developer Hotta Studio and publisher Perfect World have not yet commented on this. Currently, it is only known that Tower of Fantasy is set to launch in China in summer 2021.
However, Perfect World has already released games such as the eponymous MMORPG, Neverwinter, or Magic Legends in the West.
It is also positive that the beta of Tower of Fantasy did not have a region lock. Anyone could play in the West if they wanted, but only with Chinese texts and corresponding voiceovers.
Can you still participate in the beta? No, sign-ups have since been closed. However, you can register for the game in advance:
For this, you need an account on TapTap or the international version Tap.io
On both, you can register with a Western email address or phone number
Then, visit the subpage for Tower of Fantasy (you can simply type it into the search bar). On the page, you can register in advance
While the global release of Tower of Fantasy is still uncertain, the release of a new Chinese MMORPG has been confirmed for us. Swords of Legends will be released in summer 2021 on Steam and Epic for us. You can learn more about the game here:
Some players have found a glitch in Fortnite that allows them to survive in the storm indefinitely. Unfair players exploit this to secure easy victories in Fortnite, as seen in a reddit clip.
Players have now found a way to ‘copy’ items, thus giving them an endless supply. This advantage is quite unfair if used correctly. A similar situation occurred in Fortnite when players could suddenly spawn thousands of healing items:
Glitch allows players to survive in the storm indefinitely
What kind of glitch is this? The YouTuber “OrgangeGuy” shared a video on his channel showing how to use a glitch to copy an infinite number of healing items (via YouTube). The video has now garnered over 48,000 views and appears to be making rounds.
Players are now also showing on reddit how this can affect a normal match. One player lingered in the storm and copied floppers that he could then eat to regenerate health points. Normally, the storm would have drained all his health points and he would have been eliminated in his desperate situation – but the glitch allowed him to prevent this and even win the match.

This is why this exploit is a serious problem: In Fortnite Battle Royale, everything revolves around the epic victory. The goal is to be the last team standing on the battlefield.
However, if players are now using this glitch, the opposing teams have no chance of winning. This is quite unfair considering that achieving a victory is not easy. While the glitch requires a bit of practice, it can lead to unfair wins if an experienced player is behind it.
Glitches lead to unfair victories that can surprise any honest player out of nowhere
Is a fix for the bug coming now? It is possible that Epic will respond to this glitch and introduce a fix with the next update or even rollout a hotfix. However, there has been no feedback from Epic so far, and the exploit has not yet been listed on the Fortnite Trello.
Since the glitch provides unfair advantages, we recommend that you do not use it, as it violates the rules and could lead to an account ban.
Recently, Epic made some changes to the game primarily affecting weapon balance. A few weapons received a buff and now players should fear the new bows.

Slay Together is a classic MMORPG that focuses on the essential aspects of the genre and has transitioned from Free2Play to Buy2Play and now back to Free2Play. This has been well received by players on Steam.
What is Slay Together? The indie team Owl Tribe Entertainment does not aim to introduce major innovations to the MMORPG genre. Instead, the developers focus on breaking the game down to the essential elements of an online role-playing game and making them as fun as possible.
You create a character that does not belong to a class
By using weapons, you improve in the associated skills
You team up with other players to complete quests and fight monsters
It is important to collect loot to obtain new, powerful equipment
Equipment can be upgraded
You explore a vast game world, where you can use mounts
As you can see, it is basically about hunting monsters in a team, completing quests, collecting loot, and improving your character. It is a very simple game that anyone can easily get into and experience success relatively quickly.
What that looks like is shown in the trailer for Slay Together:

How do you join? You simply download the MMORPG Slay Together via Steam. It is a Free2Play game. The MMORPG started for free in 2019 but switched to a Pay2Play model in early 2020 to fund further development. Now you can play the title for free again (via Steam).
How is the game received on Steam? The 330 reviews are at 70% and “Mostly Positive” (as of April 19, 10 AM). It is still an early access title that does not yet offer all features and content. You need to be aware of this if you want to participate.
Here we summarize some voices from the community for you:
monx writes with a little wink (via Steam): “This is better than Fortnite!”
Medicinefox thinks (via Steam): “Overall a fun little game. It was made with a lot of love and is very engaging. It is definitely recommended for those looking for something fun and quick.”
Dakie explains (via Steam): “I really do not want it to fail. I have completed everything there was to do in the Early Access version so far, and it hit my MMORPG nerve. It was charming. It was straightforward. It has that old-school feeling that I really enjoyed. I can’t wait to see new areas, enemies, and equipment.”
Horny Alpaca is less enthusiastic (via Steam): “The game is very repetitive and not really good. It’s easy to play, but so far it’s quite boring. I understand, however, that it is still in Early Access.”
Who is Slay Together suitable for? You should not expect a comprehensive and complex MMORPG with many innovations. If you just want to fight through hordes of monsters, find loot, and have fun with friends, then Slay Together is worth a look. You should also keep in mind that it is still an early access title that is missing a lot of content.
It is said: They had started paying streamers for “Sponsored Streams” and felt like they had “set a lot of money on fire” when they could not even stream. Therefore, a quick decision was made – most streamers had not even asked for this and should not be blamed now.
Chris Wilson acknowledged a “clear mistake”.
The favoritism was simply a mistake. Instead of giving viewers something to watch while they waited, they just made those who wanted to get into the game angry:
They completely understand the players’ anger.
They will not do such things in the future, but focus on ensuring that the next queue runs better.
In streamer collaborations, Grinding Gear Games will ensure that they handle such situations better in the future.
No one likes people who cut in line
This is what it’s about: The problem here is that this favoritism is clearly visible to everyone, namely via Twitch. We also find it intolerable in real life when others “cut in line” or are treated better than we are. It’s no different online.
This was obviously one of those “quick, quick” decisions that were not thought through.
Hopefully, Path of Exile 2 is more thought out, they have some plans for the future:
There is already a conspiracy theory about Path of Exile that streamers enjoy special conditions, “streamer accounts” that receive much better drops than regular accounts – this has now been fueled further.
“The world is simply unfair”
This further heated up the atmosphere: On Reddit, players quickly got into a “pitchforks out” mood. Now clips of Twitch streamers were shared who wanted to cope with the attacks on them.
A streamer explained: Life is simply not fair. Everyone must clearly see that. If you are born in Africa, you have a high chance of growing up without clean water. That is also not fair. So it is just like this now with the “Priority Queue” for streamers in Path of Exile.
This did not go down well with the fans.

At the launch of the new season “Ultimatum”, long wait times occurred to access the servers in Path of Exile. However, the developers ensured that Twitch streamers could bypass the queue. This really angered the regular players.
Path of Exile regularly brings new seasons, which function like mini expansions. These are clearly the highlight of the year – the rush to the servers during a good season is enormous. Because at the start of a season, there are new leaderboards, the race starts over, everyone wants to play as much as possible as quickly as possible.
Streamers are paid to play and allowed to skip the queue
This was the favoritism towards the streamers: The rush for “Ultimatum” was so large this weekend that a queue had to be introduced to ease the load on the servers.
The developers had paid some streamers for “Sponsored Streams” at the start of the season to promote Path of Exile on Twitch.
In order for the streamers to access the servers, the developers allowed them to skip the queue, granting them “Priority Queue” and letting them onto the servers sooner.
Streamer Quin69 could hardly believe his luck when he suddenly found himself in Path of Exile:
This was the reaction: As you can imagine, the “regular players” were quite pissed off:
On one hand, they felt that streamers were “something better”. They could now watch them do what they themselves would love to do: play Path of Exile. Especially people who invested money in Path of Exile said: They are also important and support the game. Where is their preferential treatment?
On the other hand, they criticized the developers for creating a distortion of competition if streamers start the season early and gain advantages.
Hopefully, Path of Exile 2 is more thought out, they have some plans for the future:

In Destiny 2, you should help decide which exotic weapons will receive new ornaments. Because for Guardians, not only combat power matters, but also appearance. We show you all 12 options and how to participate in the voting.
This is what you should decide: Bungie wants to give some exotic weapons a new look. However, the Destiny developer can’t quite decide which of the 12 Exotics needs a fresh ornament the most. This is where you, the Guardians, come into play.
You can vote and thus help decide which 3 Exotics will be able to go into battle with a new ornament in the future. It is already known that Guardians not only want to be strong but also want to look good while slaying aliens. Fortunately, real transmog is already coming from May 2021.
MeinMMO presents all 12 available Exotics, explains how the voting works, and shows you all the eligible weapons with their standard appearances.
What are ornaments in Destiny 2? What is called “skin” in many other games is “ornaments” in Destiny. Both legendary and exotic gear can change their appearance – sometimes drastically, as a weapon can turn into the Final Fantasy sword. If you just change the color or pattern of your gear, you, as a Guardian, use a “shader”. Both ornaments and shaders are almost always just cosmetic (Some weapons benefit from the alternative appearance).
These weapons are available for selection:
Crimson (Crimson)
Fighting Lion (Fighting Lion)
Graviton Lance (Graviton Lance)
Le Monarque (Le Monarque)
Merciless (Merciless)
Riskrunner (Riskrunner)
Skyburner’s Oath (Skyburner’s Oath)
Sunshot (Sunshot)
Sweet Business (Sweet Business)
Telesto (Telesto)
Trinity Ghoul (Trinity Ghoul)
Vigilance Wing (Vigilance Wing)
Scharlach, Löwengebrüll, Graviton-Lanze und Le Monarque
Unbarmherzig, Risikoreich, Himmelsbrennereid und Sonnenschuss
Arbeitstier, Telesto, Dreifaltigkeitsghoul und Schwingen der Wachsamkeit
When will the new skins be available? Bungie reported that they are still in the early development phase with the exotic ornaments (via Bungie.net). Guardians should expect the 3 winners of the voting in early 2022.
Which Exotic needs a new ornament in Destiny 2?
This is how you vote: Simply follow the link embedded below. You can only participate once, but currently, there is no date for when the survey closes.
Question 1: You should choose which class is your main.
Question 2: You should type in which weapon you prefer to play with – it doesn’t have to be an Exotic (what you write here ultimately doesn’t matter, even gibberish is okay).
For Question 3, you then select up to 3 options from the 12 mentioned Exotics. Since the survey is in English, we have provided the English names in parentheses above.
While some Exotics on the list already have 3 ornaments, the poisonous bow Le Monarque is still completely without an alternative look. You can change that now or do you prefer even more options for Sunshot or Crimson – somehow hand cannons always seem to get a special treatment in Destiny 2.
On Wednesday, April 21, 2021, the new TOTW 30 will be released in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team. Who could be in the Team of the Week? We take a look at the TOTW Predictions.
What is the Team of the Week? Each week, EA assembles a new TOTW. This team consists of 23 players who performed strongly during the past football weekend.
For this, they receive a spot in the Team of the Week as well as improved Inform cards that can be found in packs for one week.
These are TOTW Predictions: The FUT community tries to speculate which players could make it into the TOTW. The performances of the players are closely examined and predictions are made.
However, it is important to note that the predictions are not a guarantee for the final TOTW 30.
The predictions provide an excellent overview and can also be used to earn some coins in FUT 21. What you need to do for that, we will explain here:
These Bundesliga players could be seen in the new TOTW:
Owners of the Headliners card for Erling Haaland could have reason to celebrate this week, as Haaland played strongly and scored 2 goals for BVB.
Christian Günter from SC Freiburg scored 2 goals in the 4:0 victory against Schalke. A performance for which the offensive defender deserves an Inform card.
Dayot Upamecano had a strong game in the draw against Hoffenheim and could have earned a spot in the new TOTW 30.
The Gladbach player Ramy Bensebaini impressed with a strong performance against Eintracht Frankfurt and even contributed a goal to the 4:0 final score.
Leon Bailey played really strong against 1. FC Köln and was involved in all three goals. He scored two himself and assisted the third. An Inform card seems likely to be.
Tomorrow, on April 20, the big Sustainability Week starts in Pokémon GO. We will show you all the bonuses and reveal what is worth it the most.
When does the event take place? It starts on April 20 at 10:00 AM local time. You can take advantage of the event for 5 days until it ends on April 25 at 8:00 PM.
During this time, certain Pokémon related to the theme of sustainability will appear in the wild. Additionally, there will be a campaign focusing on sustainability.
Sustainability Week brings Bithora and Shiny Unratütox
These are the bonuses: All bonuses are centered around the theme of sustainability. Here’s an overview:
A sustainability campaign is available (more information about it further down in the article)
Bithora appears for the first time in Pokémon GO
The following Pokémon will appear in the wild: Sleima, Rotomurf, Unratütox, and Kastadur
Shiny Unratütox is available for the first time
In 5 km eggs, you’ll find: Digda, Tangela, Goldini, Knospi, Kikugi, Finneon, and Rotomurf
There are exclusive quests and a limited-time research
A free T-shirt for your avatar will be available
This is included in the sustainability campaign: Something similar was already held in Pokémon GO in 2019. This time, you will be encouraged to do something good for the environment individually. You can clean up trash in your neighborhood or plant a tree. If you share this on your social media channels and use the hashtag #SustainableWithNiantic and tag @NianticLabs, the developers will evaluate your action.
If enough trainers participate, all players worldwide will be rewarded. The levels are as follows:
2,500 posts: Level-5 raids will occur more frequently
5,000 posts: A box with 3 free remote raid passes will be available in the in-game shop
10,000 posts: There will be double XP for catching Pokémon
Which Shinys are available in the event? The highlight is, of course, the new Shiny Unratütox. You can recognize it easily, as the shiny form is significantly darker than the normal Unratütox.
The spawns of Kastadur and Sleima will also be interesting. Especially, Kastadur appears quite rarely outside of events, so you should take the opportunity.
This is the shiny family of Unratütox.
What can the new Pokémon do? Bithora can evolve into Thanathora. Both monsters are of the Rock and Water types. However, they play no significant role in the Pokémon GO meta, as the stats of the monsters are simply too weak. They are more worth it for the Pokédex entry.
What’s next in Pokémon GO? While April is slowly coming to an end, a lot is still happening in Pokémon GO. This includes raid and spotlight hours, but also a friendship day and an event focused on New Pokémon Snap. You can find an overview of all events here:
Since April 1st, the new loot shooter Outriders has officially launched and opinions are quite divided – especially regarding difficulty. Some find even the highest difficulty level easy, while others struggle with the story. MeinMMO wants to know from you: How hard do you find Outriders?
You can adjust the difficulty in the story through a total of 15 World Tiers. Later in the endgame, there is a specific difficulty level in expeditions that you can also adjust.
Generally, the rule is: the harder you make it for yourself, the better the loot will be. And loot is what makes a loot shooter. Only those who really put in the effort will get to the coveted legendaries of the game faster.
However, it seems that Outriders is not easy or hard for all players in the same way. The difficulty level is a recurring topic of conversation.
What’s it about: The discussion about the difficulty of Outriders comes up repeatedly, both here on MeinMMO and even internally in our editorial team. Some players find Outriders easy or just right, while others can hardly reach the next difficulty level.
While the difficulty can be chosen, everyone has their own sense of how hard or easy something should be, especially if they know their gear and build. Therefore, we now want to know from you whether you find Outriders too hard, too easy, or just right.
How did you vote? And which class do you play? What do you think is the reason for the different perceptions of Outriders’ difficulty? Leave us a comment!
If you’ve already completed the story and are now tackling the expeditions, there are some tricks to help you get through:
In the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online there are various types of status effects. In this article, we at MeinMMO explain what exactly lies behind effects like fear, stun, or burning.
In ESO, there are abilities that cause a so-called status effect. At the same time, there are also weapons and armor that interact with status effects. Therefore, it is important to know what a status effect is and how it works.
What status effects are there? In total, there are 17 status effects that can be divided into 3 types.
Type 1 are the “elemental” effects, which often deal direct damage or damage over time. What
You can remove status effects or “break” out of them
What can you do against status effects? There are 4 things you can do against status effects in ESO:
In principle, all status effects can be removed or “cleansed” with certain abilities. Especially healers can often do this.
By pressing attack and block at the same time, you free yourself from hard CC. This includes: knocked down, stun, disoriented, and knocked back. However, this will consume stamina.
Soft CC can be easily removed by dodging. Again, stamina is consumed.
However, the most effective way to deal with status effects is to prevent them just before they are applied. This can be done by blocking (except in the case of fear), dodging, or reflecting. This way, you effectively prevent status effects from negatively impacting you.
In ESO, the release of the new expansion Blackwood is coming soon. We have gathered all information about it here:
In recent days, there has been quite a stir about Path of Exile and developer Grinding Gear Games. This is related to accusations from a supposed player that turned out to be a troll action. What is going on?
The story starts with a reddit post from user poelegalthrowaway00. He accused the PoE developer of recently banning him. The reason was supposedly that he used macros.
According to his own account, the player is physically impaired and relies on macros to play PoE. This accusation quickly sparked outrage and anger among readers and spread like wildfire, first on reddit, then on Twitter.
Grinding Gear Games received numerous angry messages and complaints regarding the case.
What are macros? They are recorded commands or command chains that get called and then execute the stored sequence of commands. Therefore, macros are used not only in gaming but also in spreadsheets, word processing, or databases.
Macros can provide advantages in games through automatic inputs. For example, if you are playing a healing class in an MMORPG, you can assign the healing skill, mana potion, and targeting the desired team member to one key (via gaming-zubehoer.org).
Players with disabilities often rely on tools that allow them to fully utilize the game. We recently reported on a blind player who can use a voice input tool to access the chat.
Why are macros a problem? They provide a significant advantage in multiplayer and online games over other players and are therefore usually against the rules.
Ban for using macros?
This is behind the accusation: In the subreddit /legaladvice, user poelegalthrowaway00 asked for legal advice. He stated that he was banned in Path of Exile. He mentioned that due to a workplace accident, he cannot use one hand and some fingers of the other do not function properly.
Therefore, he relies on pedals and macro control to play Path of Exile. However, the developers banned him, supposedly due to the macros. In his post, which has since been deleted, he stated:
[…] I cannot use one hand and some fingers of the other due to an industrial accident. I do things on the computer using a mouse and three foot pedals. I play the game Path of Exile and in the game, you need to refresh four potion buffs every three to eight seconds. I physically cannot press all four keys every few seconds, so I use a macro that does it automatically for me.
I was recently banned for that, I have spent hundreds of dollars on this account. […] So my question is, should a lawyer look into this, or is it just a waste of their time?
The photo of the Reddit post has been published on PCGamer.com and comes from Discord. (via Discord). Although macros are prohibited in most games, other factors play a more significant role for players who are physically impaired.
The “cry for help” quickly spread from reddit to Twitter. More and more people sympathized with poelegalthrowaway00 and wanted to know from the developer how they justified this alleged ban.
The gaming website PCGamer.com contacted the developers at Grinding Gear Games and asked for a statement. However, they strangely could not find a ban that matched the situation described by poelegalthrowaway00.
Grinding Gear Games CEO Chris Wilson told PCGamer: “We are curious about what happened here, as a ban for such a thing does not align with our internal policy and we cannot find any evidence that it occurred.” So what was going on? In the meantime, the mood on Twitter grew increasingly angry, and the topic continued to spread.
For instance, Steve Sposh from Able Games spoke up, emphasizing their advocacy for gamers with physical impairments, calling on the developers to clarify the case. The waves grew larger until poelegalthrowaway00 spoke up again on reddit. There, he burst the bubble:
It was all fake.
“I am a teacher and did this as a demonstration”
What is behind the fake? In the reddit post, poelegalthrowaway00 states that he is actually a teacher and did this as a demonstration for his class. He wanted to show how easy it is nowadays to manipulate public opinion.
He chose the topic Path of Exile because it is small enough and most of his students are familiar with gaming. He provides advice on how users on reddit can better see through such fakes.
Shortly after the second post was made, it was edited. Allegedly, the account of the supposed teacher was hacked. A short time later, it was deleted, but screenshots remained showing the entire text (via Discord).
How the developer reacts: CEO Chris Wilson stated to PCGamer.com: “Honestly, this makes me a little sick. It undermines the legitimacy of real issues, and the Twitter thread has caused us some pretty severe PR damage.”
Steve Sposh writes: “Pretending to be a player with a disability to harass a company is worse than bad. People are already skeptical of others who claim to have a disability.
So, congratulations, troll. You did it. You’ve made it harder for people with real disabilities to draw attention from developers. GG”.
What do you think of the case? Do you believe the teacher story and find the alleged motives justified? Or do you think the action is just as stupid as Steve Sposh does? Let us know in the comments.
In Call of Duty: Warzone, some players recently trudged towards victory with ease. A glitch made them invincible. The developers are working on the issue.
What is this glitch? Normally, winning in Battle Royale, given the tough competition on the map of Call of Duty: Warzone, is a tough challenge. Absorbing absolutely no damage is understandably a rather helpful state.
And exactly that was achieved by some players due to a glitch. For example, you can see in this video how such an invincibility glitch made players – well, invincible:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJtZyD4yk0Q
The player is not stopped by ammunition, melee attacks, or anything else thanks to the glitch. For the other players, that is naturally a problem. Against such glitch opponents, one cannot even compete with the best mechanics that every good player should know in Warzone. Accordingly, the developers are now stepping in.
What are these contracts? The Most Wanted contract essentially places a bounty on your own team, making you the target of all other players. However, if you survive this phase, you receive a cash reward and all dead team members are brought back into the game. You take a big risk, but you can revive the entire team.
Developers disable problematic contracts
How the glitch occurred: As the player describes in his video, the glitch occurred in connection with a Most Wanted contract. He apparently became invincible right when he, at the end of the expiring contract, was supposed to die. The developers from Raven Software have since confirmed the connection via a tweet:

This is what the developers are doing now: As Raven Software explains, the “Most Wanted contracts” have been temporarily disabled in the Verdansk BR playlist. It is therefore currently a workaround to neutralize this “God Mode” bug. The problem is currently being investigated further. When the issue will be resolved and the Most Wanted contracts will return is still open.
In Pokémon GO you can earn a total of 50 coins for free every day. In this guide, we will show you how to get the in-game currency of the game.
These are coins in Pokémon GO: PokéCoins is the in-game currency of Pokémon GO. With it, you can buy raid passes, lucky eggs, incubators, and much more.
Every day you can receive 50 coins for free. That corresponds to 50 cents. If you want more coins, you must purchase them in the in-game shop for real money.
How to get coins in Pokémon GO – Here’s how it works
Here you earn PokéCoins: You must assign at least one of your Pokémon to a gym. For the time spent there, you will then receive coins, but only if your Pokémon is kicked out of the gym. So it is of no use to stay in gyms for ages, as you will only be rewarded with being kicked out. The system works as follows:
You earn one PokéCoin every 10 minutes or 6 coins for an hour.
There is a cap of 50 coins per day – you cannot earn more in one day.
You need to sit in gyms for a total of 8 hours and 20 minutes to earn enough coins for one day.
You will automatically receive PokéCoins when you leave the gym. As long as you are still in gyms, there are no coins for you. If you do not receive any coins upon being kicked out, then you have already earned 50 coins for that day.
What exactly is sitting in gyms? Each team can take over gyms in Pokémon GO. You have room for 6 Pokémon per gym. Once that number of monsters is reached, no other trainer can join. The other two teams can then attack and take over the gyms. They can then place their monsters in the gym.
Basically, you can place any monster in gyms, except for legendary and mythical Pokémon.
Are there other ways to earn free coins? No, you can only get the free coins by sitting in gyms. Niantic had previously tested another system, which allowed you to earn coins through small quests as well, but the developers discarded that option again.
Since then, you can only collect coins for free through gyms.
This is how you earn coins faster: When sitting in gyms, the total number of your hours counts. One Pokémon must sit in gyms for 8 hours and 20 minutes, but two Pokémon in two gyms only need to spend 4 hours and 10 minutes each in gyms.
The more Pokémon you place in different gyms, the less time you have to wait for your coins. So if you want to guarantee your coins every day, you should ideally take over several gyms. It is also not guaranteed that you will be kicked out of the gym that day. So spread out and hold several gyms.
When motivation is low, your Pokémon will be defeated faster.
How to best defend gyms? Sometimes it’s not so easy to get to your coins, as you are simply kicked out of gyms too quickly. We recommend that you use the best defenders in Pokémon GO. They at least make it more difficult for your opponents to take over your gym at the beginning. If you instead use weak defenders, gyms can be taken over faster.
But keep in mind that your Pokémon will lose motivation over time. If you place a strong monster with a lot of CP in the gyms, it will lose a lot of CP after a few hours, making it easier for other players to attack. If you definitely want your coins, you should feed your Pokémon in the gym in the meantime. A golden razz berry fully restores the monster’s motivation.
This is how you can also get coins: If the 50 free coins per day are not enough for you, you can alternatively buy additional coins in the in-game shop. The prices are as follows (may vary by platform by a few cents):
100 PokéCoins for 0.99 Euro
550 PokéCoins for 5.49 Euro
1,200 PokéCoins for 10.99 Euro
2,500 PokéCoins for 21.99 Euro
5,200 PokéCoins for 43.99 Euro
14,500 PokéCoins for 109.99 Euro
In general, you can say: The more money you invest at once in Pokémon GO, the more savings you get. It’s wiser to invest a larger amount at once than multiple smaller amounts.
To buy the coins, you need to go to the shop and scroll down to the very bottom. You will find the coins there and can purchase them.
