“How big is the game on Twitch? To be honest, it doesn’t matter anymore. The Just Chatting section is just so damn big. That’s all that counts on Twitch. You can’t grow as a streamer on Twitch if you show games.”

Television is the new meta – video games in second place
This is currently happening on Twitch: The “Just Chatting” section is currently by far the strongest category on Twitch with over 63 million viewer hours. In 2nd place is League of Legends with just over 44 million (via sullygnome.com).
One of the biggest trends on Twitch right now is showing series live in the stream. The animated series Avatar seems particularly popular here. It is referred to as a new “meta”, meaning what is currently fashionable.
Only a few days after her, top streamer Disguised Toast was caught, who took the opportunity to take a break. He even claims to have staged it. While some streamers apparently assume that showing old series is allowed, a former Twitch star warns:
Twitch prohibits showing content that does not belong to you. The penalties have been enforced more strictly since the copyright complaints and DMCA strikes from 2020 and apply not only to music, as previously planned, but also to series.

What happened in New World? The MMORPG from Amazon is plagued by one bug after another. Just the day before yesterday, server transfers were reopened for players after being disabled for a week due to a bug.
Right after that, another issue returned to the game. Once again, there was presumably a bug in the game that allowed players to create or clone gold out of nothing. After a few hours, it turned out that it wasn’t a gold dupe but just a display error.
New World initially decided to put player trading back on hold and not allow you to trade with other users until the cause of the alleged gold duping was clear.
What is a gold dupe? It seemed that a gold dupe was once again possible in New World. That was the reason why player trading was disabled. However, it turned out to be just a display error, which is why Amazon gave the all-clear after just a few hours.
Amazon responded even faster this time and reactivated player trading after just a few hours. In the forum, they state that the suspected gold dupe was only a display error and that player trading is therefore reactivated.
They plan to address the display error in one of the upcoming updates. However, there is no threat to the economy and therefore no reason to keep player trading disabled.
How do the fans react? New World players and the community around the game have become accustomed to bugs like this. So there are hardly any major outcries or people who are seriously angry or shocked due to such bugs and measures.
Instead, a sarcastic undertone flows through the voices of the community. As if people can only smile and shake their heads when New World makes such a mistake again.
Many comments are therefore more humorous and cynical in nature. At least this bug didn’t cause any significant damage.

More positively, TaylorDestiny222 says: “I don’t want to say that the bugs aren’t bad. But the fact that the whole thing was resolved in about 4 hours shows that the developers are really trying their best.”
Very sarcastically, TheApocalypticOne replies to the news that trading is working again: “Oh man! Now I uninstalled the game!”

YouTuber Logan Paul bought a box of Pokémon cards for $3.5 million. In doing so, he made the serious mistake of not seeking the advice of wise Pokémon experts. This is now becoming his downfall. Because he fell for a scam. The box didn’t even contain Pokémon cards, but “G.I. Joe” booster packs.
What on earth did the man buy? YouTuber Logan Paul bought a box in December 2021, which he believed to be the “only sealed box full of first edition Pokémon cards.”
On December 20, he tweeted that this box was “authenticated,” meaning guaranteed real.
However, he did not unpack this box, as that would lower its value. He thought the box was sealed in 1998 and certified as “authentic.” From Logan Paul’s perspective, there was no reason to doubt that.
To Logan Paul, the $3.5 million was just a small step; he had already bought a box for $2 million in February 2021.

Pokémon experts immediately doubt the authenticity of the box
How did the experts react? Wise Pokémon experts quickly pointed out that this box could be a scam. The site “Pokebeach,” which specializes in such matters, stated as early as 31.12.2021: Something is fishy here (via pokebeach).
Here’s what the experts said:
Eight months earlier, a YouTuber had gathered evidence that cast doubt on the authenticity of the box.
Strange things had already happened during a previous sales process: usernames were changed, the box was advertised in dubious ways and sold incorrectly. Such a valuable collectible should actually be auctioned through a reputable auction house, not sold online in any way.
Further irregularities were also noted during deeper research.
At the end of the first auction, the highest bid was a comparatively ridiculous $72,500 – clearly showing that “serious collectors” were not interested in the box that Logan Paul later purchased.
The box was also authenticated by a company that knows too little about Pokémon cards, as they specialize in baseball cards.
Pokébeach stated: Trustworthy experts should be allowed to inspect the box to dispel any doubts about its authenticity.
In any case, the provenance of the box was dubious: Allegedly, someone bought a house in Canada and found the box somewhere in a cupboard. This is considered in the Pokémon community as a “running gag” for a dubious origin story, similar to “fell off the truck.”
Overall, the Pokémon experts seemed somewhat sniffy that such “non-serious” collectors like Logan Paul were doing such things now.

Crossplay in Battlefield 2042 and Differences Between Consoles
Is there a crossplay feature? Yes, Battlefield 2042 offers crossplay. PC and console players can decide whether they want to play together at all. However, there are some restrictions for owners of older consoles.
The last-gen consoles will be separated from PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5, as these versions will have significant differences in technology.

What modes will there be? Currently, we know of two classic game modes that will be included in All-Out-Warfare.

Conquest
One of the oldest modes in the Battlefield series, where you have to capture and hold certain points on the map.
Breakthrough
In this mode, there is an attacking and a defending team fighting over specific points on the map.
With Hazard Zone, there is another mode that is supposed to offer a very different gaming experience.
Hazard Zone is not a battle royale, but it strongly resembles Escape from Tarkov or Hunt: Showdown. Team play and precise coordination of equipment are said to play a major role in success.

Hazard Zone in Battlefield 2042
What you need to know about Hazard Zone: The mode mixes PvP and PvE elements,as previously revealed in a major leak. Hazard Zone thus somewhat resembles the Dark Zone from The Division.
There are not only human opponents, but also NPC enemies. These are the so-called crew troops that besiege important data carriers or prevent you from extracting the data. Your main objective is not to kill opponents.
Instead, you need to extract these data carriers and survive.
How many players are possible per match? That depends on your platform. The old consoles have to settle for fewer players:
