Weaknesses of Absol: The Pokémon is a Dark type and is weak against Fighting, Bug, and Fairy types. In raids, focus on using attacks and Pokémon of these types to defeat Absol.
Is there a Shiny Absol? You can find and catch Shiny Absol in Pokémon GO. With a little luck, you will find the Shiny right after a raid.
Absol and Shiny Absol compared – The shiny version is on the right side
How many trainers do you need? If you have the top counter Pokémon and have reached a relatively high level (40+) in Pokémon GO, you can beat Absol alone. With lower levels, but strong counters, you should rely on more trainers.

Sony Interactive Entertainment announced today that it has acquired the game developer Bungie (Destiny 2) for 3.6 billion USD.
This is the news: Sony announced today that it has acquired Bungie for 3.6 billion USD.
Bungie will continue as an independent subsidiary and will be overseen by current CEO Pete Parsons and the rest of the current management team.
Bungie remains independent and a multi-platform studio
Will Destiny remain on Xbox? Yes, it seems so. Sony states that Bungie will remain a “multi-platform studio” with the option to self-publish games and reach players wherever they want.
It is expressly emphasized that the acquisition by Sony should not affect the gaming experience on other platforms. There will be no “platform exclusives” in Destiny 2: The Witch Queen, the upcoming expansion.
The plan remains to continue developing Destiny until 2024 and “The Final Shape”. Cross-platform will also continue to exist.

This is what the new vision of Destiny 2 should look like.
Important step to increase the reach of PlayStation
This is what Sony says: CEO Jim Ryan says:
“We have had a strong partnership with Bungie since the beginning of the Destiny series, and I could not be more excited to officially welcome the studio to the PlayStation family.”
Jim Ryan, CEO Sony Interactive Entertainment
Furthermore, Ryan states that the acquisition of Bungie is an important step in the strategy to expand the reach of the PlayStation platform. They know how important the community is for Bungie and look forward to supporting Bungie on their journey as an independent and growing studio.
Pete Parsons, the CEO of Bungie.
This is what Bungie says: Bungie emphasizes that with Sony, they have found a partner who supports them unconditionally and allows them the creative freedom that is at the heart of Bungie.
They believe that Sony, like Bungie itself, is convinced that the game worlds are just the beginning of what Bungie’s franchises can be.
Together, they want to develop “iconic game franchises” that are played around the world. Today, they take the step towards becoming a global multimedia entertainment company.
Bungie says: They can now hire more employees for Destiny 2
What impact will this have on Destiny 2? Bungie says that what players will immediately notice about Destiny 2 is that they will now hire “new employees” in their studio.
They will recruit for “all parts of Destiny 2” and for the worlds behind it.
In November 2020, Luke Smith admitted that Bungie probably would never be able to create such a large expansion as Forsaken (2018) for Destiny again after parting ways with Activision Blizzard. That seems to have changed now.
Sony says: No reaction to Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard
This is what’s behind it: The acquisition of Bungie is of course seen as a direct response to Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard. However, Sony denies this.
Activision Blizzard stated that they had to sell because they no longer saw themselves as big enough for the “new world.” In this new world of entertainment, they compete with trillion-dollar companies like Apple, Facebook, or Google.

This marks the 3rd major acquisition in gaming 2022. Prior to this, Take-Two had already acquired the mobile developer Zynga.
The difference in the acquisition of Bungie by Sony compared to the other two major acquisitions is that Bungie is not a publicly traded company, and therefore, there is no acquisition offer, but rather it speaks directly of a purchase and not just an intention to buy.

However, Sony says that the deal had already been in the works for 5 to 6 months and is therefore not a reaction to the other deals. With Bungie’s acquisition, they expect:
the opportunity to develop more “MMOs” themselves – that is, “live-service multiplayer games”
a gain in technical capabilities
and the prospect of turning games into films and TV series
The acquisition is also likely a response from Bungie to the fact that Destiny 2 has not been able to develop further since parting ways with Activision Blizzard since 2019.
Update, February 1, 10:04 AM: Sony has explained in an interview what lies behind the acquisition of Bungie:
An era in World of Warcraft is coming to an end. The “Boosting Communities” are now being put to a stop. Blizzard has officially banned them in WoW.
A few hours ago, there were wild speculations and rumors about whether boosting in World of Warcraft would soon be curtailed. Just a few hours later, the rumor became reality as Blizzard officially stated:
Boosting communities are no longer allowed effective immediately. Thus, an era in World of Warcraft is likely coming to an end.
What happened? Community Manager Kaivax posted in the official forum of World of Warcraft and published exactly the news that had already been leaked a few hours earlier on various community Discord servers and that we have already reported on at MeinMMO.
The message states that boosting communities that operate across multiple realms and aggressively offer their services on other realms are banned effective immediately and should cease their activities.
Those who do not comply with these new rules may face sanctions that can lead up to the closure of their WoW accounts.
What are the immediate consequences? What players will likely notice first is the decrease in boosting spam in the trade channel. Since promoting such services is now also subject to penalties and players can report these individuals through the reporting system, the trade channel across many realms should now allow for genuine trading.
More news about World of Warcraft can be found here:
However, keep in mind regarding the news: Boosting is still generally allowed, but it cannot be offered across servers.
If a guild on your realm continues to promote its boosting services for your realm, that is still permitted and not a violation of this rule. Therefore, please do not report players or groups operating within these rules – as those who frequently report players incorrectly may themselves face account penalties.
What do you think of Blizzard’s decision? A proper, important step? Or completely inappropriate?

On January 27, the new chapter and content for 2022 for the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online was announced. A new feature planned is a minigame: the Glory Stories. MeinMMO author and long-time ESO player MiezeMelli sees potential in the minigame.
What are the Glory Stories? This feature is a new in-game card game:
You assemble a deck and can unlock additional decks and cards.
You can compete against other players as well as against NPCs.
You can challenge opponents in local taverns.
There will be leaderboards.
Unique rewards: These include achievements and collectibles.
When will the minigame be released? Glory Stories will be released alongside the new chapter High Isle on June 6, 2022, for PC/Mac and on June 21, 2022, for Xbox/PlayStation.
Why is this interesting? When I hear the word “deck”, I think back to the times when I met with friends and played Magic or Yu-Gi-Oh. Since there will be different decks and it should also be possible to add individual cards, it can be assumed that it will become comparable.
Depending on how it is implemented, it could appeal to many players. At least with a good implementation, the card game could excite some players. Especially those who have known and liked other representatives of the genre in the past or present should check out the new minigame.
I think it has the potential to become one of those tricks that could appeal to every type of player.
Who is speaking here? MiezeMelli has been playing The Elder Scrolls Online since the beta. Since early 2018, she has regularly streamed ESO on Twitch and has been part of Bethesda’s official ESO Stream Team since late 2020. Since January 2018, she has created videos (Raid Triples, guides, DPS tests) on YouTube. She has over 7,000 hours of playtime on 18 characters at max level and 2011 Champion Points (as of January 30, 2022). On MeinMMO, she has been responsible for everything related to ESO since May 2021, especially guides.
The planned minigame can appeal to every type of player
Even if many players wished for something different from the new chapter, I see a lot of potential in the card game. Especially because it is somewhat independent of the main game, it could be well received by every type of player.
Especially that there will be the possibility to compete against NPCs as well as against other players somewhat caters to both PvE and PvP. Of course in a different way than we are used to from ESO so far. By having the ability to play against NPCs, it also simplifies introducing players to the tavern game.
I consider it quite possible and not unlikely that the minigame is more complex than one might initially imagine. Also because with further updates, presumably more content will be released, as we have seen in other parts of the game.
Competitive component makes it interesting even for endgame players
I primarily, but not exclusively, move in the endgame community. As a total MMO noob, I started the game for the first time back then, until I eventually became interested not only in the setting and quests but also increasingly in dungeons and eventually trials.
The competitive part of the MMORPG has therefore gained more importance for me over time. I now hold numerous Triple Achievements in trials and have participated as both a member and leader in numerous competitively oriented groups.
As a result, and as a streamer of ESO, I have a good overview of many sides and areas of the community. I see the issue of catering to all players as expectations can vary massively. It is already a feat to attract all types of players, but I believe it’s possible.
It has been announced that there will be a leaderboard. This makes the minigame not only a pastime for me but it has the potential to be interesting for the endgame community. Competitive content in ESO is oriented towards leaderboards. Because there is also a leaderboard planned here, players can compete in a contest.
This means that even the player who has already achieved every achievement of the competitive content could find a new incentive here. Personally, this component attracts me the most. Since it will be something new for all players that everyone must learn anew, every type of player starts at the same point.

ESO announces new expansion High Isles with beautiful cinematic
Here, a coming together of inexperienced as well as experienced players is possible. The minigame offers a form of networking between the different parts of the community. It could also provide a point of contact for PvP-focused as well as PvE-focused players.
Due to the specific rewards that can only be obtained through the tavern game, it is also interesting for achievement hunters. Depending on what these rewards look like and in which areas they can be used, they may affect further areas of interest in the MMO.
For housing rewards, for example, it would also be interesting for players who only engage in housing. And even for players who only enjoy the roleplay aspect in ESO, a tavern game could probably have some appeal.
I can’t imagine a part of the community for which there wouldn’t be any interest from the start. In my view, it very much depends on the individual player, regardless of which part of the community they come from. And I find that fantastic.
If you’re interested in more about ESO, you might also find this interesting:
How did you receive the new tavern game? Have you already dealt with representatives of such games or is it something completely new for you? How do you assess the implementation and what are your expectations? Feel free to speculate with us in the comments.
Not only in the planned minigame “Glory Stories” will there be rewards for players. There are also a lot of interesting rewards in the recurring ESO events. You can learn more about this in our ESO event ticker.

With the release of Dying Light 2 right around the corner, we take the opportunity to give you an overview of the co-op of the survival game and how it looks with a crossplay feature.
What is Dying Light 2? This is an open-world game focused on survival and action. It is the sequel to the eponymous Dying Light and places you in a zombie apocalypse.
20 years after the outbreak of a pandemic, the world is in a constant struggle for survival due to a virus. Some of the infected have turned into zombies, and hardly any place is safe from them.
The game primarily focuses on its story, side quests, and collecting resources and crafting materials in the open world. But can you also play it with friends?
Does Dying Light offer multiplayer? The short answer: Yes. Like its predecessor, Dying Light 2 has a co-op mode. So you can hunt zombies in the apocalypse together with multiple people.
We summarize all the information about the co-op mode for you here and also tell you how it works with crossplay.

Everything you need to know about the new survival game Dying Light 2 – with gameplay
Dying Light 2 offers 4-player co-op at launch, but there is a catch
This is how co-op works in Dying Light 2: At the launch of the game, you can play Dying Light 2 with three friends.
One player serves as the host, while the others join as guests into their game world.
All main and side missions, as well as all other activities, can be completed together except for the prologue.
Guest players can then take the loot they found into their own game world.
Is progress carried over? Here lies the catch with the co-op mode. The story progress only applies to the host of the group. Team members must play the missions in their world themselves to complete them.
Story decisions are apparently to be voted on democratically. However, the host has a veto right, as they have to bear the consequences of the decisions.
It is currently unclear if the co-op mode will receive additional features after the release.
Does this affect the difficulty level? This is currently unknown. However, there was criticism regarding Dying Light 1 that the game became too easy in co-op mode.
Dying Light 2 has no crossplay – Not even cross-gen on console
What about crossplay? Unfortunately, you will not be able to play Dying Light 2 with players from other platforms at launch. There will be no crossplay at release.
At least on PC, the Steam and Epic Games versions can play together, so you do not have to worry there.
Console players, unfortunately, are out of luck. It will not even be possible to play together on old and new consoles. For example, if you play on PS4 and your potential co-op partner has a PS5, no co-op session is possible.
A first roadmap until June 2022 already exists, but there is no mention of crossplay yet. However, it is still possible that the feature will come during this time. So far, there is only a rough overview of the contents, without really going into detail.
When is the release? Dying Light 2 will be released on February 4 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, and PS4.
But what do you think about it? Were you convinced by the co-op mode in Dying Light 1? Do you want to play it in the second part as well? Or would you prefer to stroll through the zombie apocalypse in peace and alone?
In Destiny 2, not only hackers are causing chaos in the Crucible. Wild Titans with swords and a specific Exotic are rampaging in PvP mode with no mercy. We show you what combination that is and what it can do.
What kind of combination is this? In the selected combination, your Titan equips any sword of their choice, followed by the exotic gauntlets “Handheld Supernova”.
With this selection, you are able to intercept as many projectiles as you can. As usual, the sword consumes ammunition after every block. This Exotic allows you to not lose any ammunition even while blocking.
Many Titans currently use either Synthoceps or Dunemarchers in PvP to keep up. However, with this dusty Exotic, you can bring some variety to PvP and leave some opponents speechless.
Titans block everything, even Nova Bombs
The Reddit user Zeron9119 demonstrates in his recorded video how he effortlessly takes down some Guardians with the combination.

While blocking, he attracts shots from Guardians, drawing attention to himself. His teammates then have the chance to eliminate confused enemy troops without problems. Other Guardians who want to end the show with their super are also sent to the virtual afterlife by the blocked super.
How does the Exotic “Handheld Supernova” work? The exotic gauntlets for Titans give you increased resilience stats, allowing you to take more damage before going down. Furthermore, blocking does not waste any ammunition. However, caution is advised, as shots from enemies can still deal a bit of damage to you.
Be sure to only block after your opponent has fired the shot. This way, you gain a health boost that keeps you alive longer.
For whom is the build worthwhile? For any PvP player looking for variety. If you want to roam like a knight and smash your opponents like a wall, this versatile build is worth a try. So get your Crown Splitters out and make Lord Shaxx proud.
What do you think of this combination? Have you already shaken some Guardians with it? Let us know in the comments if you will give the combination a try.
Many gamers rely on the perfect setup for gaming. A high-end gaming PC includes an adjustable gaming mouse, keyboard, and a professional headset. But did you know that there is now a special gaming browser for die-hard gamers? I’ve been using it for a while and today I’ll share why it’s not only a fantastic piece of software visually.
As an avid Destiny 2 player, I often use third-party apps in my browser. They provide me with useful features like permanent access to my vault, triumph overviews, and quests. However, both Chrome and Firefox tend to use more RAM when it’s available.
This is one reason why I switched to a special “gaming browser.” Since then, my PC resources remain free for gaming.
A browser for passionate gamers with practical features
Which browser are we talking about? The Opera GX Browser, which was recommended to me by my Destiny 2 fireteam, and which I have been using daily with growing enthusiasm. It has a pleasantly modest memory requirement and also features other fantastic options that have equally impressed me.
The Opera GX Gaming Browser is not only a visual highlight but also offers advantages that we gamers quickly come to appreciate.
Standard dark mode
Dynamic LED color adjustment on Razer Chroma and Corsair peripherals
Direct access to Discord, Twitch, YouTube, WhatsApp, and social media
Performance gaming features like RAM, CPU, and network bandwidth limiters
More performance for gaming: Initially, the performance optimization options were my main interest. The browser offers the “GX Control” and “GX Cleaner” features. This allows me to specify the performance the browser uses for CPU and RAM consumption, and which files should be deleted from the computer, such as cache, history, cookies, or downloads.
Memory hogs stand no chance thanks to individual limiters
Thanks to GX Control, I can now also easily keep multiple browser tabs open while gaming without them affecting my gaming performance. I can set the limiters directly in the browser.
Hot-Tab Killer for more performance: Performance hogs can be spotted at a glance with this browser since the gaming browser highlights resource-hungry websites. This way, I can quickly close any page that unnecessarily consumes my memory while remaining active in the background.
Keeping an eye on the gaming scene
Equally practical are the stylish comfort features that my gamer heart quickly won over. Since I started using this browser, I haven’t missed a free game or new release.
The Opera GX Gaming Browser has a built-in sidebar that provides me with a variety of adjustable functions. Through the button “GX Corner” I gain access to a game release calendar for Windows, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, macOS, iOS, Android, Linux, VR, and Stadia. There are daily recommendations for free games, games of the week, and new YouTube game trailers.
Through GX Corner, I keep track of all releases and free games
Furthermore, I can also compile my favorite gaming news and updates so I can be informed with just one click. The browser automatically updates these at the interval I set.
Pinboards are practical smart sticky notes: You can customize the sidebar, embellishing it with exactly the functions and services that are most interesting to you.
So, for example, I am using the Pinboards feature to gather my article ideas for Destiny 2, complementing them with relevant links, notes, files, or images. This saves not only sticky notes but is also very smart and organized.
Sound effects are not a must: I personally do not use the fairly detailed sound effects of the browser, which narrate my keystrokes, clicks, and the opening and closing of tabs. The sounds can be adjusted in volume, but are generally unnecessary and often annoying.
For the right vibes, I prefer to open the integrated player tool, giving me access to my Spotify and other music services.
The GX Cleaner feature and its settings
Essentially, the Opera GX Browser combines everything I expect from a dedicated browser as a gaming fan: Tuned performance, cool LED design, and my gaming and social media channels at a glance. There’s even an integrated VPN tool available if needed. It just can’t brew coffee yet.
Where can I get the browser and how much does it cost? If you also want to try and use the browser now, it’s completely free. You can download the gaming browser directly from the Opera website. Alternatively, it is also available through the Epic Store now.
If you need help: The Opera GX Discord community is well attended with over 350,000 members and also offers browser support and an overview of the latest changelogs. But generally, all features are self-explanatory, and you quickly familiarize yourself with the settings.
If you are interested in more practical things for gamers, I’d like to recommend the article from our shooter expert Marko. He is a big fan of glass mousepads and tells you why that was the best solution for his gameplay:
What do you think about Opera’s special gaming browser? Do you find the tools for gamers successful, and would the gaming features be a reason for you to switch browsers? Are you perhaps already using it? Let us know in the comments how you find the browser.

The PC version of Elden Ring will not be released without an anti-cheat tool. Now we know that the action RPG will include Easy Anti Cheat at launch. This has raised concerns in the community, as a popular feature from the Dark Souls games might be at risk.
What is special about this? Previous games from FromSoftware that launched with multiplayer had little protection against cheaters and hackers. This caused considerable chaos in PvP and co-op.
That and probably other issues seem to have prompted the makers of Elden Ring to take more action against cheaters. Therefore, Easy Anti Cheat is being employed, which is a widely used tool in numerous games. These include:
Elden Ring is now joining this circle. However, reactions from the community to this announcement are mixed.
Because Easy Anti Cheat could, in the worst case, mean the end of a popular feature of the Dark Souls series: modifications.
What role do modifications play in Dark Souls? Especially for long-term players, mods are a popular way to expand games or improve specific aspects. The Dark Souls games continue to be kept alive and supplied with new mods by modders. These can be small things like specific outfits or complete overhauls. There are even mods that completely overhaul the game, including original stories, equipment, and spells. Such mods ensure that even the nearly 11-year-old Dark Souls 1 is still played on PC today.
Does Elden Ring’s new anti-cheat protection endanger mods?
How are the fans reacting: The first voices regarding this news range from joy to concern, showing a lot of variety. Most players agree that measures against cheaters are necessary and right.
However, with Easy Anti Cheat, there could be a huge hurdle for potential fan modifications that may not appear for Elden Ring. This is evident from numerous reactions in the game’s subreddit.
Why is this a problem? The anti-cheat tool has already shown in other games that it does not play well with modifications and quickly identifies them as threats.
Therefore, players are now fearing that modifications for Elden Ring may either be significantly complicated or could even be completely eliminated.
Is there a solution? There are indeed ways to potentially make modding at least partially feasible.
For example, Microsoft Studio 343 Industries integrated Easy Anti Cheat for its Halo: Master Chief Collection as well.
However, extensive modding tools still exist.
To play the collection with modifications, there is the option to disable the tool.
This, however, divides online players into two groups – those with the tool activated and those with it deactivated.
Perhaps FromSoftware will implement similar mechanics in Elden Ring to continue supporting modifications. But there is also the possibility that they wanted to restrict modding anyway. It is currently unknown how this will ultimately impact the situation.
When does Elden Ring release? The action RPG will be available on February 24 for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.
If there are any updates regarding the situation with modifications before then, we will keep you informed as always. But what do you think about this?
Are you excited about Easy Anti Cheat? Or would you have preferred another way to protect against cheaters? Do you even use modifications in FromSoftware games?
YouTuber GilvaSunner, who has uploaded almost all Nintendo soundtracks from the last decades on his channel, is now facing off with the rights holder Nintendo. The Japanese publisher has now blocked around 1,300 videos, leaving behind a grieving community.
What is the situation?
YouTuber GilvaSunner has uploaded many soundtracks from Nintendo games over the past years, and fans celebrate him for it.
Nintendo has now sent him over 1,300 copyright claims and thus made a large part of the music on the YouTuber’s channel inaccessible.
True fans of Nintendo are disappointed because the channel was the only high-quality source for hours of immersion in classics from gaming music history. Now there is no alternative.
Nintendo blocks songs on YouTube but offers no alternative to fans
Last Saturday morning, YouTuber GilvaSunner tweeted that Nintendo had initiated over 1,300 copyright claims. The channel operator is very popular among Nintendo fans because he uploads not just any soundtracks.
His channel features Nintendo songs that are otherwise not available anywhere else. The YouTuber posted a list of games whose soundtracks were deleted from his channel (via twitter.com):
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Zelda: Twilight Princess
Zelda: Skyward Sword
Super Smash Bros Melee
Super Smash Bros Brawl
Yoshi’s Island
Super Mario Land
Mario Galaxy
Super Mario World
New Super Mario Bros
Mario & Luigi: Dream Team
Mario 3D World
Luigi’s Mansion
Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story
Kid Icarus Uprising
Kirby’s Dream Land
Just a few minutes ago (as of 31.01.2022 | 12:30 PM), the songs from Mario Sunshine were also blocked. Interestingly, GilvaSunner does not earn money from the uploads of the Nintendo songs. Once again, this can be linked to fan games. Nintendo also had them removed from the internet, despite them not generating any revenue (via looper.com).
This is why the YouTuber is not surprised: GilvaSunner writes on Twitter that he anticipated this move from Nintendo for a long time. After all, it’s not the first time he has clashed with the publisher. In 2019 and 2020, there were already disputes, and Nintendo claimed numerous videos containing their content.
I am neither angry nor surprised that Nintendo is taking this step. But I am a bit disappointed because there simply is no real alternative! […] After all, it’s their content.
Can Nintendo do that? Yes, Nintendo is the rights holder of the music. The company is free to decide where this music appears and who has access to it.
In this case, however, Nintendo is essentially choosing to make the music inaccessible to everyone. They themselves do not offer any official way to listen to the songs on streaming platforms.
What Nintendo fans think about the deletion of the music
Underneath the tweet from YouTuber GilvaSunner, the mood seems clear: According to their own moral compass, Nintendo are clearly the villains here. Some users simply make fun of the publisher and say that the other fans must make do with the music player in Smash Ultimate.
Others emphasize that they not only enjoyed the music on channels like this one. The interaction with other fans in the comments was also an important part of the experience for them. And others again express their bewilderment about the situation:
Nintendo could easily create their own music channel on YouTube and even make money from it. They could also release their songs on Spotify — I just don’t understand it. It would be so simple.
A YouTuber showcases his project with a giant power bank. It holds a whopping 27,000,000 mAh and can power a TV and washing machine simultaneously, or charge more than 5,000 smartphones.
What is it about? In a video, YouTuber Handy Geng shows the construction of his massive power bank. And “massive” here means: So unusually large that it has wheels for portability.
We will show you what the YouTuber uses the power bank for.
Can power a TV, washing machine, and cooker simultaneously
The construction was that wild: The idea for the power bank came to Handy Geng when he bought a larger model of his old power bank and then saw that his friends had even larger versions. Since size apparently matters a lot to the YouTuber, he quickly welded together a frame to hold the new batteries of his power bank. Because he wanted to build himself a mobile battery.
It ultimately turned out to be as large as a big dining table.
In the charging area of his project, there are 60 connections. One can plug in laptops, other power banks, or directly connect smartphones. With about 27,000,000 mAh, the device can charge around 5,000 smartphones – 20 of them simultaneously. Common power banks that are currently among the bestsellers on Amazon only offer about 20,000 mAh.
In one example, the YouTuber shows that his project can also charge e-bikes that have broken down on the way. However, this is quite impractical since the battery is heavy and bulky.

Another example from him that he shows at the end: When fishing, you can power your TV alongside with the battery. And a washing machine. And a cooker. If such a situation becomes important at some point, you can rely on your mobile battery.
Even though this is more of a joke project, it’s a cool project by the YouTuber. In the comments on YouTube, people ask why he omitted the USB ports on his power bank.
What do you think about the video? A funny idea that the YouTuber implemented, and maybe, in a more portable size, a good companion for camping? Or do you prefer to rely on generators or solar for power generation? Let us know your opinion here on MeinMMO in the comments.

Whether this rumor will prove true will likely become evident in the coming days – it would significantly reduce the spam in the trade channel on many realms and make some WoW players happy.
Original report: On most realms in World of Warcraft, the trade channel is primarily used for one thing: Advertising for boosting services. These are often larger groups that operate across realms and provide certain services for gold coins. This can be boosting PvP ratings in the arena, but also completing raids or dungeons at high difficulty levels.
Now a rumor is circulating in the WoW community and seems to at least be causing some boosting groups to stall: Boosting could be banned.
What is the current status on boosting? Currently, boosting in World of Warcraft is explicitly allowed as long as it is for services in exchange for gold. Players can freely decide which in-game service they wish to pay for. There are numerous boosting groups that pull paying players through dungeons and raids on a fixed schedule to earn them achievements or loot.
Only advertising such boost groups in the LFG tool is prohibited and can be reported by other players. However, advertising such activities in the trade channel has so far been allowed – even beyond one’s home server.
Boosting offers for real money – that is, payment with real money like euros or dollars – are already prohibited and lead to sanctions for both providers and buyers.
What happened? In the subreddit for World of Warcraft, some posts appeared last night discussing the screenshot of a message that was apparently shared on several Discord servers for World of Warcraft. Allegedly, the message is from developers or community managers and is preparing for something that is supposed to become active during the course of today (January 31, 2022). It reads:
From now on, we prohibit groups offering boosting, matchmaking, or other non-traditional services, including those that do so for gold. Accounts of World of Warcraft that break this rule will be penalized. These penalties may include warnings, temporary suspensions, and, if necessary, permanent account closures. Groups that operate across multiple realms and promote their non-traditional in-game sales massively are against the terms of the End User License Agreement (EULA).
This updated rule does not restrict individuals or guilds from using the available in-game tools (‘trade chat’) to buy or sell items or activities with in-game currency. But “Boosting Communities,” especially those operating across multiple realms, are no longer allowed. […]
In short, this would mean: Boosting communities that offer their services across multiple servers are in violation of the terms of use and may face account penalties up to permanent bans.
The message indicating a supposed EULA change.
This alone could still be fairly easily faked, after all, anyone can write such a message. Additionally, the choice of words and the language used does not typically match Blizzard’s usual style. It could therefore be at most a first draft of the message or simply a private message from an informed party.
However, several boosting communities and guilds seem to take this message seriously. Some well-known communities have not announced boost runs for the coming days, and several players confirm that some boosting communities are currently dissolving or restructuring.
Some are even posting images on Reddit of the schedules of the boosting groups – which in many cases end spontaneously today. It seems as though the message is considered “real” by multiple sources.
More news regarding World of Warcraft can be found here:
How likely is that? It seems quite likely that Blizzard will take action against boosting spam in the chat channels. On many realms, the trade chat is virtually unusable, as dozens of boosting groups are advertising their services, often from other realms. For most players, this is mainly annoying, but newcomers might find it even more daunting.
However, it is also clear that “providing services for gold” has always been an integral part of World of Warcraft. Enchanters and other craftsmen get paid for their services, and some mages charge a small fee for water and bread in Classic, and “boosting through dungeons” is often sold as well. After all, that’s the compensation for time invested.
Whether this rumor will prove true will likely become evident in the coming days – it would significantly reduce the spam in the trade channel on many realms and make some WoW players happy.
Riot Games has made a huge hit with the Netflix series “Arcane” based on their game League of Legends. But now there is trouble. A small artist says she is “just a girl from Ukraine,” but Riot Games has taken down a T-shirt design of hers from the market. This is said to violate the copyright of Riot Games, even though the T-shirt is based on her own comic “Arcane Flames”. Her complaint caused an uproar online and prompted Riot Games to reconsider.
This is what the artist says:
The artist “KuttySarkArt” said on Twitter on January 28 that she is just “a girl from Ukraine” and has no voice when a large company like Riot Games goes against her, even though Riot Games is in the wrong.
Riot Games has had a T-shirt taken down that was created based on the comic of the Ukrainian, “Arcane Flames”. It is claimed that this design violates the copyrights of Riot Games. However, the artist insists that the comic is solely hers, and Riot Games has nothing to do with it. The artist tried to contest the removal of her T-shirt, but the T-shirt company told her: There is nothing that can be done. The complaint is “valid”. She must adhere to copyright law.
The artist says: The T-shirt depicts Al’vis, the main heroine from her own comic “Arcane Flames” – thus the complaint is incorrect. Riot Games is claiming copyright that does not belong to them.

Much support for an artist from Ukraine and her T-shirt design
This is how the internet responds: People online sounded the alarm because there is clearly an injustice here. The artist’s tweet received over 63,000 likes and 25,000 retweets.
People believed that Riot Games was only acting against the artist because her comic has the word “Arcane” in the title – but that is a normal English word, and Riot Games can’t just claim it.

This is how Riot Games responds: They released a message stating that they themselves do not even know exactly what happened. They assign “teams and third parties” to protect the rights to their own brands.
They are now looking into what exactly happened. But this is evidently a mistake. They apologize for this experience and assure that they are “actively looking into it.”

What it’s about: Two phenomena are coming together here:
It has become common among large corporations to simply issue takedown notices for anything that even remotely raises suspicion of endangering their copyright – a takedown notice from “Apple” against a small company that makes anything related to apples has become a myth.
The internet loves to side with the underdog in such “David vs. Goliath” situations. It requires no effort, and it feels good.
Evidently, it is uncomfortable for Riot Games to take on the role of the bad corporation that steamrolls the project of an artist without properly assessing what they are actually doing.
Riot Games has been on the fast track in recent months:
In Fortnite, many players have heard the term “OG” but may not immediately know what it means. We at MeinMMO will explain the meaning behind this designation.
What does OG mean? “OG” is not a term that was created in the Fortnite scene. This designation originated in the rap scene and means: Original Gangster.
In Fortnite, it primarily refers to the players who have been there from the beginning. They are the originals, the “Old School” players, or simply the Original Gangsters.
These players have thus played the original Fortnite and also snagged skins from that time.
So, if you find yourself in a lobby with skins like the Rust Lord or the Black Knight, you know that these are players who have been there since Chapter 1 Season 1.
The purple Skull Trooper – An OG variant (via. progamesguide)
What examples are there? However, OG does not only refer to certain skins. Weapon wraps, gliders, dances, and pickaxes can be included, especially those that could be collected during the early days, including the following.
Skins:
Black Knight – Chapter 1 Season 2 – Battle Pass
Rust Lord – Chapter 1 Season 3 – Battle Pass
Dark Voyager – Chapter 1 Season 3 – Battle Pass
Pickaxes:
AD/DC Pickaxe – Chapter 1 Season 2 – Battle Pass
Revenge of the Marauders – Chapter 1 Season 1 – Season Shop
The Reaper – Chapter 1 Season 1 – Item Shop
Gliders:
Mako Glider – Chapter 1 Season 1 – Season Shop
Raptor Glider – Chapter 1 Season 1 – Season Shop
Dragon Glider – Chapter 1 Season 2 – Item Shop
Emotes:
Fresh – Chapter 1 Season 2 – Item Shop
Clean – Chapter 1 Season 3 – Item Shop
Pony Ride – Chapter 1 Season X – Free Item
However, this was just a small part of the items that are considered OG.
Can I get OG items? Many of the items were part of the old “Season Shop” system or a Battle Pass and can therefore no longer be obtained. You will only get selected items like The Reaper from the new Item Shop if Epic decides to display it again.
Another method, which can result in a ban, is to ask a friend or family member for their account. We advise against this, as account sharing is prohibited and against the guidelines of Epic Games. You do this at your own risk.
Also, avoid purchasing from shady sites that want to sell you OG accounts. These are usually hacked accounts that are being auctioned off illegally. Some sell their accounts for hundreds of euros on eBay, but selling your own account is also prohibited.
What do you think about OG skins? Do you also have a wide collection of rare and unique pickaxes and items? Or were you a newcomer and feel sorry for missing out on these? Let us know!

The LoL team Eintracht Spandau faced Berlin International Gaming (BiG) last weekend. It was the first major city derby in the German-speaking Strauss Prime League. The duel was heavily promoted beforehand, and at the start, it all looked like a victory for HandOfBlood’s team. But then the battles for dragons and Baron began.
How did the match go?
The first 17 minutes of the game looked really promising for Eintracht Spandau. They were ahead by 4 towers and nearly 3,000 gold. In dragons, it was also 2:1 for the newest team in the league.
The top laner Pride was particularly outstanding, securing a kill and a tower on his own. On the other hand, Eintracht’s mid lane struggled as Special was repeatedly attacked and killed by BiG players.
However, starting from minute 25, the battles for dragons and Baron began. BiG’s jungler managed to steal two dragons with Smite.
At minute 29, it looked like Eintracht could secure the Baron. In that fight, Pride and Special killed BiG’s entire bot lane, but the players from Eintracht came out of the fight with very little health. Instead of retreating, they continued to fight against the Baron. BiG went in a second time, and the fight ended with 3 dead players on both sides and a tower in the middle for BiG.
At minute 33, Eintracht gave the dragon soul to BiG and wanted to swap it for Baron. But they waited too long, and the dragon was already dead before they even started on Baron. Therefore, BiG could enter a fight against an already weakened team from Eintracht Spandau. The team fight ended 5:0 for BiG, who then could finish the match immediately.
Decisive for the victory were mainly four things: BiG had the better late-game team, Pabu – BiG’s jungler – was able to steal two dragons with Smite, Special – Eintracht Spandau’s mid laner – usually only hit one or two players with Orianna’s Shockwave at a time, and the team fights were played too riskily by Eintracht.
You can watch the complete match on YouTube (from 4:15:30):

On the eighth matchday, Eintracht Spandau faced Berlin International Gaming. As both teams come from the same region and in this case even from the same city, such a meeting is referred to as a derby.
Derbies are typically characterized by special rivalry. This was also heavily promoted.

How did the two teams present themselves? HandOfBlood announced in November that his team wanted to work a lot with storytelling. This was especially noticeable last weekend.
On Twitter, there were ongoing verbal exchanges between HandOfBlood, as president of Eintracht Spandau, and Christian Lenz, the Chief Gaming Officer of BiG. Both took on rather unsympathetic roles.
There were several “apologies” from Eintracht, leading to the decision to watch the derby together at BiG’s headquarters. They even brought guest gifts in the form of an Eintracht flag.
However, after the match, the next major “argument” broke out there, which even became “physical”.

Even the shoutcasters and the Prime League YouTube channel significantly fueled the rivalry. There was already a video beforehand discussing who would win the “Century Derby”.
Maxim celebrates comeback as a shoutcaster for Eintracht
Eintracht Spandau showcases the team’s matches on its own Twitch channel. They are commented by Boerki, the in-house streamer. However, this week, Maxim “Maxim” Markow was a special guest.
For the Berlin derby, he returned and achieved a peak of 37,000 simultaneous viewers. This peak was enough for 18th place in the LoL category for the last 7 days (via Sullygnome). They had more viewers than the official shoutcast of the Prime League on Twitch.
Moreover, with this peak, they surpassed streamers like Caedral, Doublelift, Rekkles, and NoWay4u_Sir, one of the most famous German players, who had more streamed hours but not as many simultaneous viewers.
Big party at Spandauer Bock immediately reminds of football
To watch the derby and celebrate a possible victory, many fans of Eintracht Spandau gathered at the establishment “Spandauer Bock”. There was a kind of public viewing.
The atmosphere there was very good before the match and reminded one of classic football fan nights.

However, there was some criticism for this celebration, as such large gatherings are viewed negatively by some in times of the pandemic, despite the precautions.
HandOfBlood had set as a goal for Eintracht Spandau that a fan culture should develop like in football. The video and also the victory celebration of the team definitely look like that:
Ryan Wyatt (35) is the head of YouTube Gaming and has been leading an offensive for several years to poach large streamers from Twitch and entice them with millions to YouTube. But his time at YouTube is over, he is moving to a crypto company. He writes that he is fascinated by blockchain and its possibilities.
Why was Wyatt so important?
At the age of 27, Wyatt made his breakthrough at YouTube in 2014. He was tasked with representing “gamers” on YouTube, as he writes, and took over the leadership of the “YouTube Gaming” initiative nearly 8 years ago. He was primarily known for his idea to establish live streaming on YouTube: to this day, YouTube is mainly used as a “video-on-demand” platform, while competitor Twitch celebrates great successes in gaming with live streaming and emphasizes direct interaction between streamers and viewers.
Wyatt’s name repeatedly appeared in reports about the multi-million dollar “offers you can’t refuse” that streamers were receiving in recent months. After all, YouTube managed to successfully poach heavyweight streamers like Ludwig or TimTheTatman from Twitch.
Why is he leaving now? Wyatt writes on Twitter that February 2022 will be his last month at YouTube. He says he is “fascinated” by blockchain and the “web3 space.” He is moving as CEO to Polygon Studios and will work on the future of the internet, the “web3,” helping the company build an ecosystem in gaming, entertainment, fashion, news, and sports.
How does YouTube react? Quite relaxed. In a statement from YouTube, it is stated that they have a “deep bench of talented leaders to push the business forward.” They thank Ryan for his “incredible contribution” to YouTube over the years and look forward to seeing what he does next.
YouTube suggests in the statement that many people are leaving their companies in 2022 to take on new challenges.
In the US, this trend is called “The Great Resignation.” It is believed that many people had the opportunity to rethink their careers during the Covid pandemic and chose a new direction.
Wyatt seems to see his future in the NFT space, which is being heavily and critically discussed among gamers:
The MP40 has been the most popular weapon in Call of Duty: Warzone for weeks. However, the submachine gun has strong competition that even delivers better performance. MeinMMO shows you 3 strong alternatives with tested setups.
After the introduction of the new Vanguard weapons in Call of Duty: Warzone, it became clear quickly: MP40 and the LMG Bren are taking over the meta. Both came into the battle royale with seemingly unbeatable abilities.
If you’re tired of the popular MP40, then you can find here 3 SMGs that can easily replace it and even allow you to play better.
Welgun – The Hammer
What does the Welgun bring me? The new SMG of Season 1 outperforms the MP40 in damage, range, and mobility. It is significantly better than the current meta SMG. The only annoying thing is unlocking it in Warzone without the Vanguard multiplayer.
But the grind is worth it – the high damage combined with the movement perk “Gung-ho” turns the Welgun into a melee monster that can fire almost immediately after sprinting. Any opponent who challenges you in close combat will regret it.
CoD Warzone: Welgun Setup
Muzzle: Recoil Booster

Owen Gun – The Sprinter
What does the Owen Gun bring me? This SMG has damage levels similar to the MP40 but offers a good deal more range for the initial damage range. Additionally, you are very fast and even outpace the MP40 speed setup.
The fire rate is slightly lower than the meta icon, but the Owen offers strong control, making it a good secondary weapon for a sniper rifle.

LAPA – The Old One
What does the LAPA bring me? The old weapons, with their 5 attachments, appear almost like relics of a bygone era, but many of the mothballed firearms still deliver strong performances, and the LAPA SMG is among the best.
The weapon from “Cold War” is fast, easy to handle, and deals significant damage. It inflicts a lot of damage on body areas outside the chest – this is especially strong when your close fights get hectic.

Not always are the most popular weapons the best. The MP40 is strong enough to maintain its position as the most popular weapon in Warzone (via wzranked.com, as of 31.01.22). However, it does not win every fight, especially the new Welgun surpasses the favorite SMG in Warzone.
In the end, it comes down to feeling comfortable and secure with the weapon. Try out a bit, test our setups, and surprise MP40 players when you send them to the Gulag in a close quarters battle without a chance.

Next Wednesday, we will see the new TOTW 20 (Team of the Week) in FIFA 22. Here on MeinMMO, you will find out which players could be part of the new Team of the Week.
What is the Team of the Week? Every Wednesday, EA reveals a new TOTW and releases it in Ultimate Team. The team consists of 23 players who performed strongly over the previous football weekend.
These players receive a spot in the Team of the Week and improved Inform cards, which can be found in packs for a week. And since most major leagues were not in action last weekend, this time the predictions are mostly based on the performances of the players with their respective national teams.
These are TOTW Predictions: The TOTW Predictions are forecasts from the community that try to guess which players might end up in the Team of the Week.
They provide a good overview of who could be in the TOTW. Potential Inform players can be used to earn coins on the transfer market. How to do this, you can find out in the Trading Tips.
However, it is important to note that these are theoretical predictions and no guarantees. The TOTW 20 next Wednesday may look different than the predictions suggest.

For the year 2022, a ton of new content has been announced in Lost Ark, especially for the Korean version of the MMORPG. In addition to the new class, this also includes the open-world PvP continent Rowen, where you can experience massive battles.
What kind of PvP mode is this? In 2022, Lost Ark is set to get a new continent, at least in Korea. It is called Rowen and allows a form of open-world PvP where two factions clash against each other.
As a player, you choose one of the two factions and hopefully bring them victory. To achieve this, however, you need to focus a lot to keep track of the chaos in this battle.
The normal PvP modes in Lost Ark are played 3 against 3, and even the existing guild-vs-guild PvP battles can be somewhat chaotic with a total of 32 players.
However, Rowen takes it to the next level, as here you fight in teams of 48 players on a large map. Thus, a total of 96 PvP fans are battling for victory.
How does it work? Similar to the guild-vs-guild mode, just on a much larger scale. You start with your faction on a large map in your fortress. Each of the factions has a fortress at the start where they can respawn and are initially safe.
After that, you fight for a total of 8 control points on the map. The longer you hold these points, the more progress you gain, which you need for victory. Every 3 minutes, your faction receives 5% progress for each held point. At 100%, one of the parties wins.
You gain 5% towards victory every 3 minutes for each point
In the 18-minute matches, you try to hold as many points as possible while beating up enemy players so they can’t steal your points. You can also make use of helpful gadgets like cannons and other siege weapons.
At the end of the time, one faction is crowned the winner and a player from that party becomes the MVP, or most valuable player. This player then gives the order in a beautiful end cutscene to destroy the opponent’s fortress with the cannons of your fortress.
Unlike in normalized arena PvP, your gear also counts towards your stats here. You can also rely on mounts and battle items, similar to guild-vs-guild. The mode promises to be a huge battle.
You can see all the gameplay here:

How do the fans react? The new images from the battles are creating really good vibes within the community. Many fans can hardly wait for the launch in Europe.
Even some PvE fans admit that this massive brawl looks like a lot of fun. Also, because you lose nothing when you die in the fights.
Only when it comes to performance, a handful of people are bothered by the occasional lags and worry about whether the mode will run smoothly when it is released in Europe.
What do the players say? In a thread on Reddit, the new video is shared and discussed.
The user Panhead15 is overwhelmed: “Please, stop! I just can’t handle more hype in the last week before launch.”
Also s4ntana is impressed: “Wow, this is so cool! I can hardly believe that there were no such battlefields in Lost Ark before, it’s perfect for that.”
Mr_Tombola can’t wait: “Oh, this looks really good. I love such battlegrounds. How long do we have to wait for its release?”
Frustratedx is looking forward to it: “Oh man, my artillery will hit hard in this mode. Can’t wait to nuke 20 people at once.

Today, on January 31st, a Rocket event with Voltoball is happening in Pokémon GO. The last hours of the power plant event are active before the Lunar New Year event starts tomorrow.
What kind of event is this? Niantic surprisingly announced that an event is taking place on January 31st. It revolves around the new Hisuian Voltoball, which you can catch in the game since Sunday. Today, Team GO Rocket is out and about with many Voltoball in their teams.
We will show you what is happening today and what to expect in the coming days.
Rocket Event with Voltoball
When does it run? The start was on January 31, 2022, at 00:00 local time. The event is active all day long and ends at 23:59.
What bonuses are there? All grunts of Team GO Rocket fight exclusively with Crypto-Voltoball. The encounters are quite easy because of this, and you can win the fights in a short time.
This change only applies to the grunts. The Rocket bosses continue to fight with their usual Pokémon. This is your chance to collect Voltoball candies or catch Crypto-Voltoball for your Pokémon collection.
This is what happens next: On February 1st, the Lunar New Year event starts in Pokémon GO. Exact details about the event are still missing, but Niantic has already assured that Hisuian Voltoball will continue to appear during the Lunar New Year.
In addition, Pokémon that have been appearing more frequently since the start of the power plant event will continue to be part of the spawns in the wild.
Note: Currently, you cannot evolve Hisuian Voltoball yet.
