Pokémon GO: The Season “Stories of Transformation” in the Trailer
Check out powerful Pokémon and Safari Balls
The powerful Pokémon are the highlight of the Nature Zone. These are usually larger, especially strong specimens of wild Pokémon at a high level. You can find the complete list of powerful Pokémon here.
The problem: They are very difficult to catch and flee quickly. The best way is with the Safari Balls that can be collected over the weekend. If you don’t purchase a ticket, you will need a lot of luck to get some.
So save your Safari Balls for the powerful Pokémon that you really want. Good monsters include, for example, Tyranitar, Garchomp, and Gardevoir. You can also try to catch the hard-to-catch Galar birds with the ball.
And if you are not using a Safari Ball:
Use Ultra Balls
Use a golden Razz Berry
Try to hit excellent throws
Use a buddy Pokémon that can bounce back baited balls at the wild Pokémon
Use Kyurem’s adventure effect to increase your catch chance if you have one
Also, note that you are unlikely to succeed with autocatchers, as they usually only throw Poké Balls.
Use the Raid Passes on both days
You will receive three additional Raid Passes per day on both event days when spinning gyms – always when the previous one is used up.
The interesting targets are Shadow Cresselia on Saturday, Shadow Darkrai on Sunday, and the costumed Snorlax.
Of these three, Darkrai is the most useful Pokémon. However, the others are also worth catching. Be sure to use your new free passes.
Use Campfire for Gigantamax
This weekend, Olangaar will appear as a Gigantamax Pokémon. This Pokémon will not be easy in battle. You can find a detailed guide on counters here shortly.
Most importantly, you should team up with other trainers to defeat it. As a Gigantamax Pokémon, it cannot be beaten by small groups. Check Campfire for a trainer group nearby that wants to battle Olangaar.
Alternatively, it is also possible to join relevant battles using a Remote Raid Pass.
Use Incense for powerful Pokémon
The incense item has the potential to attract powerful Pokémon this weekend. If you have a ticket, Selfe, Vesprit, and Tobutz as well as various Unown variants will also join the possible incense pool.
But even without a ticket, incense is a good option to encounter more powerful Pokémon.
Take snapshots
Don’t miss the chance to take a photo of your buddy Pokémon from time to time. There are rumored to be snapshot surprises that you can get through this small feature.
Unlearn Frustration, especially with Darkrai and Cresselia
During the GO Nature Zone, you can use regular TMs to get rid of the useless Shadow move “Frustration”. This can only be done during specific event periods like now, or by purifying Shadows. However, purification also deletes the attack bonus that Shadows have. So: Use a TM to get rid of Frustration first – especially with Darkrai and Cresselia if you catch them this weekend.
Otherwise, make sure you have enough balls and berries for the weekend! What tips do you have for the upcoming weekend? Share them with us in the comments! Otherwise, we wish you good luck during the Nature Zone. And to find out what else is upcoming in November, read here: All events in November 2025 for Pokémon GO.

In World of Warcraft: Midnight, visiting dungeons is conditional. However, these conditions are not as bad as some might fear.
If you want to level up quickly at the start of a new expansion of World of Warcraft, there are several ways. While some rush through the quests, others dive into dungeons and “spam” them non-stop. But in the upcoming expansion Midnight, it’s not that easy. Dungeons must first be unlocked through achievements.
Start video
WoW Midnight shows gameplay – All new features
What kind of achievements are those? Each dungeon in Midnight can only be entered after the corresponding “Unlock” achievement has been reached. There are two different methods to complete the respective success:
Reach a necessary level with a character.
Complete the quest that sends you to the respective dungeon.
Note that this information is still from the beta of Midnight, and details may change before the release.
Minimum level for dungeons or completing story campaign
What are the requirements? If you want to unlock the dungeons through a corresponding character level, the following limits apply:
Windrunner’s Tower: Level 81
Death’s Alley: Level 83
Nalorakk’s Den: Level 88
Maizar Caverns: Level 88
Blinding Vale: Level 88
Magister’s Terrace: Level 90
Nexus Point Xenas: Level 90
Arena of the Voidscar: Level 90
Alternatively, you need to complete the corresponding quests that unlock the dungeons. This happens more or less automatically during the campaign.
Is it significantly different from before? No, not really. Dungeons previously had level restrictions that prevented early access. In Midnight, this unlocking just happens in a new way – not only through level but also by completing a specific quest. Whichever of these goals is achieved first will unlock the corresponding dungeons in the future.
Ultimately, this will likely allow most players to enter the dungeons a bit earlier if they follow the campaign and don’t only level through instances. In the end, this won’t make much difference after the second character anyway – because the achievements are account-wide and only need to be reached on the first character. If you want to see how this plays out in-game, you can now participate in the WoW Midnight beta.

The video platform YouTube was founded in 2005, and in 2006, the first people began regularly uploading videos to the platform, thus shaping an industry. One of them was Phil Laude, who, along with his two friends, founded the YouTube trio Y-Titty. In a podcast, he talks about his experiences back then and how the industry now seems to him.
Who is it about? Former YouTuber Philip “Phil” Laude was a guest on the podcast Henke’s Corner. Together with his friend Matthias “TC” Roll, he founded the YouTube channel Y-Titty, where they regularly uploaded comedy videos starting in 2006. In 2009, Oğuz “OG” Yılmaz joined them.
In their sketches, they addressed all kinds of topics, mostly parodying pop culture themes. The trio also released songs, which always had a comedic touch.
In the YouTube industry, Y-Titty belongs to the pioneers of that time. In 2015, the trio disbanded, and the three pursued their own careers.
Phil Laude continued to upload sketches and parodies in the style of Y-Titty, but did so alone on his own channel. By now, he has over 1.23 million subscribers on his YouTube channel (source: YouTube). He has also had several acting roles, including in his own series Almania.
Gronkh also started his career around the same time with Let’s Plays and inspired many:

YouTube back then
What was YouTube like for Phil Laude back then? Phil Laude talks in the podcast Henke’s Corner about how the early days of YouTube were for him. He says he is grateful to have been part of the creation of an industry and that the platform has gone through many different phases since then.
When he and his friend TC started the Y-Titty channel, there were only a few videos on the platform. Most of them were animal videos. YouTube was only available in English at that time, had no partner system – so no money could be made – and YouTube did not yet belong to Google.
Phil Laude says that TC and he made videos just out of boredom and were mainly inspired by the satire videos of the former content creator “der echte Gangster” – or as he is better known to many: Angry German Kid or Unreal Tournament Kid.
Even before their beginnings in 2006, Y-Titty filmed sketch videos. They couldn’t upload them to YouTube yet – the platform was only founded in 2005 – and instead uploaded them to platforms like Rapidshare or local social networks.
This, however, is also the case with other media, such as series, Phil Laude continues. One can no longer perceive much, which would complicate communication between each other.
The YouTuber further explains that if one had “taken YouTube somewhat seriously,” one became well-known. For the first YouTubers, the content was still relatively insignificant, as they were “sending into the void,” he says.

How does Phil Laude view YouTube today? Phil Laude thinks the biggest difference from earlier YouTube is that one wouldn’t notice anything anymore: “So much is happening. It has become so huge. Everyone lives in their bubble.” (source: YouTube from minute 12:15).
Back then, there was a YouTube world, the YouTuber believes, where theoretically one could have known all the content creators. The offer was much smaller.
This, however, is also the case with other media, such as series, Phil Laude continues. One can no longer perceive much, which would complicate communication between each other.
In ARC Raiders, many players are not interested in PvP and signal during encounters with other players that they are peaceful and that their counterpart should not shoot. A statistic from Steam now shows how many peaceful Raiders there really are in the shooter.
Where do the numbers come from? From Steam, specifically the achievements that you receive on the gaming platform for completing certain challenges or reaching special milestones in the respective games.
As colleagues from the English-speaking magazine PCGamer noted, only 42.7% of all ARC Raiders players on Steam have received an achievement called “Unyielding”, which you get for taking down 10 Raiders. This means: Almost half of the Steam players of the shooter are avoiding PvP and have hardly participated in fights with other players so far.
Start video
ARC Raiders soll laut der Community die chilligsten Lobbys haben
The peaceful approach of many Raiders is made even clearer by another achievement: The achievement “Crossed the Line” is awarded to players who have taken down a single Raider. However, only 81.3% of all Raiders on Steam have this.
According to this, nearly one-fifth of the players have never shot another player in ARC Raiders.
Looting and leveling peacefully instead of fighting each other
Why do players avoid PvP? ARC Raiders is also fun for many players as a PvE extraction shooter. Every player probably has their own reasons for this, but one thing is common to nearly every Raider: they all want to loot and level up.
Many players emphasize on social networks that they just want to complete their quests and farm materials or better gear. They are not interested in stressful PvP battles. Especially in solo lobbies, you will encounter many players who do not immediately open fire and instead signal a hopeful “Do not shoot” through the emote wheel.
Within the community, a grouping of players has formed who play ARC Raiders as a PvE shooter and even help foreign Raiders against particularly dangerous opponents.
One of the achievements that has been achieved quite rarely is called “Legend of Speranza” and requires players to reach the current max level of 75. So far, only 0.8% of players on Steam have succeeded in this.
At first, MeinMMO editor Karsten Scholz was skeptical whether Where Winds Meet could actually live up to its ambitious plans. By now, he has completed the main missions and most side quests and is thrilled – despite the existing weaknesses.
There are games that are simply too big and good to be true. They shouldn’t actually exist due to the current market conditions. Baldur’s Gate 3 was such a thing in 2023 (and only possible because Larian had paved the way for it with Divinity Original Sin 1 + 2 over the years).
In my opinion, Where Winds Meet is also such a gem. There has never been a genre mix that is so extensive and packed with systems, features, and details … and on top of that, it’s really good AND Free2Play, so it’s free to play on PC, PS5, and Mobile. What do you allow, Everstone?
It’s almost as if you were to release the extensive sequel to a worldwide hit that fans have longed for for years for under 20 euros … or Team Cherry (and Hollow Knight: Silksong)?
Back to Where Winds Meet: since the open-world role-playing game is incredibly large and complex, my experience report should be clearly structured and to the point. Therefore, my article is divided into the following sections:

Where Winds Meet excites 15 million players in China, now a new gameplay trailer shows how it should work in the West
How does Where Winds Meet play in single-player mode?
Where Winds Meet reminds me of the setting and world design of Ghost of Tsushima or Ghost of Yōtei. However, you’re not playing a Japanese samurai revenge story in the style of Akira Kurosawa’s “The Seven Samurai,” but a Chinese Wuxia tale reminiscent of film classics like Crouching Tiger & Hidden Dragon or Hero.
You control your – created in the extensive editor – fighter from a third-person perspective through an open, beautiful world. You interact with residents, experience cinematic story segments, solve puzzles, try out mini-games, cook, hunt, fish, gather resources, find treasures … and of course, you also fight.
What exactly is the Wuxia genre? We answer exactly this question in this trivia article (still in progress).
Where Winds Meet takes you to a historical China with fantasy elements.
Fast-paced combat, but also for casual players
The combat system is action-packed and fast. By pressing a button, you switch between two weapons and have access to a range of combat maneuvers. You can complement these with mystical martial arts moves like a Tai Chi throw or a jumping attack inspired by frogs. Some of these skills are necessary to counter dangerous attacks or to unhorse riders.
The most important mechanic of combat is precisely parrying attacks. Unlike your block, a successful parry avoids all damage. Additionally, you efficiently reduce the opponent’s posture by parrying. If you manage to break the posture, you stun your opponent and can deal high damage. With perfect timing, your parry even unleashes a beautifully animated counter.
All of this reminds me of tough action RPGs like Sekiro from FromSoftware, yet it is also suitable for casual players thanks to multiple difficulty levels and aids.
If you wish, you can visually display possible parry windows as long as a certain combat resource is available, including a slow-motion effect, giving you enough time to press the right button. This helps immensely when you’re surrounded by multiple melee fighters while ranged archers are pestering you from a distance.
Throughout the quests, you meet fighters who become companions and can even support you in combat.
Complex character development
You have access to a variety of different weapons for combat, including several sword variants, spears, fans, and umbrellas. These provide you with access to exclusive skills, allowing you to take on the roles of tank, healer, ranged attacker, or offensive frontline soldier.
Each weapon can be leveled up. Just like your mythical arts, all equipment slots, and of course your character level. You also have access to the passive effects of so-called Inner Arts, of which you can activate 4 to refine your play style and, for example, strengthen healing or deal more damage to bosses with charged attacks.
On X, you can see some of the mystical arts in action:

Of course, there’s also a talent tree, as well as additional ways to gain enhancements for your fighting alter ego – for example, via the Arsenal (a collection of retired clothes) or a curiosities dealer where you can exchange insects and other finds for permanent upgrades.
Only those who thoroughly explore the world will eventually unlock all weapons, arts, and potential improvements. In addition, you must collect a variety of resources to upgrade even the most critical components of your build to the maximum. Fortunately, the game tells you in the nested menus exactly where to find what and what you need for what.
Lastly, a few words about the leveling phase, which changes to a new section every 5 to 10 level-ups. However, to reach this section, you must initiate a breakthrough, for which you must fulfill certain prerequisites – usually a specific character level and mastering designated combat exercises.
In the first week, progress is also tied to the days. On Day 1, you can play up to Level X, on Day 2 up to Level Y, on Day 3 up to Level Z, and so on. On the sixth day, this artificial “time-gating” then disappears.
The level of enemies in the open world always corresponds to your character level. Thus, with every successful breakthrough into the next leveling phase, not only does your maximum level increase, but your enemies also become stronger.
All NPCs in Where Winds Meet have their own daily routines and agendas.
What can you do alongside and after the story content?
The world of Where Winds Meet is full of secrets, puzzles, mini-games, and combat challenges. Many of the content outside of the main missions can be experienced in single-player mode with up to 3 friends. However, friends really only appear in your world when you invite them.
Things look different when you switch to multiplayer mode, which you unlock during the leveling phase. This brings you into a persistent MMO version of the game world where you can meet countless other players and found guilds and tackle special multiplayer content with them. However, main missions and side quests cannot be played here.
Attention! In multiplayer mode and multiplayer content, aids such as parry support are disabled. Anyone who already knows that they want to frequently play PvP and raids should learn to master the combat without the support visuals and slow-motion effects as early as possible.
Here’s a selection of things you can do in Where Winds Meet alone, with friends, guild members, or acquaintances:
Dungeons, raids, outposts, and world bosses
Participate in PvP Arena, a battle royale mode, or guild wars
Join one of the sects and rise to become the sect leader.
Make a blood oath with up to 9 other players to establish a blood brotherhood.
Improve your relationship with a particular player, even leading up to marriage.
Those who misbehave will increase their criminal reputation until a bounty is placed on them, and they may eventually even end up in prison.
Pursue careers as a healer or scholar to master the corresponding mini-games where you heal the injured or win heated debates.
You can increase your reputation with countless NPCs to receive useful rewards or start secret quests. Thanks to AI, you can even chat freely with many of the residents about anything and everything.
There’s a building system where you can erect houses.
Participate in group activities such as meditation exercises, card games, knowledge quizzes, or dancing.
There are separate reward systems for many of these activities. Additionally, there are in-game quests that familiarise you with the building system or healing NPCs, animals, or other players.
Where Winds Meet manages to wonderfully bring together this incredible number of systems and content most of the time and offers a fascinating player experience that currently does not exist anywhere else.
Just exploring the beautiful game world and discovering something cool every few steps is a great joy. Especially since surprising things happen time and again. Sometimes you find yourself suddenly being beaten up by a family of geese, or you stumble upon an old dude sleeping on a donkey that’s sitting in a tree … only to introduce himself as a world boss who sleepily thinks you want to steal his supplies.
The story is repeatedly elaborately staged, and the many cutscenes may interfere with gameplay-focused players. However: dialogues can be fast-forwarded, and cutscenes can be skipped.
At a rather early point in the game, you receive the hint that it might be worth trying an air strike at broken floor tiles. Suddenly, you find yourself in an underground area that leads you for the next half-hour through traps strewn with enemies and treasures.
Moreover, the fast-paced combat system feels good and fun. A few inputs are enough to perform spectacularly staged martial arts maneuvers. All opponents bring their own strengths and weaknesses, which you should consider when using skills.
The highlight is the wonderfully staged boss fights that often span multiple, sometimes very different phases and can represent memorable milestones in the course of the main story. However, the story abruptly ends after Chapter 2, but Where Winds Meet offers such an incredible amount at launch that the Free2Play access is almost outrageously fair.
To emphasize this point again: Where Winds Meet was a lot of fun for us. The existing weaknesses, which will be discussed in the next section, could not change that. This is such a unique gaming experience (for free!) that every role-playing, open-world, Wuxia, or martial arts fan should take a look at it from our perspective.
Where Winds Meet offers a variety of memorable boss fights.
What are the weaknesses of Where Winds Meet?
The sheer number of options, systems, currencies, and mechanics, as well as the developers’ great ambition to dance at several weddings, come at a cost. As a beginner, one can easily feel overwhelmed. For many hours, one constantly learns new things. Additionally, it can take time before finding the best settings for oneself. You need to get into Where Winds Meet.
The extremely nested menus unfortunately make this more difficult. You need to click through them constantly because you have unlocked a reward for something somewhere. I often caught myself during my search through the interface asking the question: Where was that again? Unfortunately, Where Winds Meet behaves very typically for a Free2Play Asian MMO in this regard.
Although Where Winds Meet was released in China months ago, our review version caused quite a few issues. The developers had already warned us about the still unfinished localized German texts. This should improve significantly by the launch version.
The fact that I couldn’t complete a quest for an enemy that took no damage for one evening or that inputs over the controller or mouse and keyboard were sometimes not recognized or only recognized with a delay was annoying. Fortunately, the latter mainly relates to menu navigation. In combat, I had no problems with the controls.
What I noticed is that the number of bugs and annoying little issues increased with playing time. However, Where Winds Meet was never unplayable. The previously mentioned immune enemy, for example, could be easily defeated the next day. Additionally, it is currently unclear which problems the developers can fix for the release version on November 14.
How does the version for PlayStation 5 perform? Our tech expert Benedikt Schlotmann has mainly played Where Winds Meet on the console. Here’s his assessment:
The action RPG runs very smoothly on the standard PS5. The loading times are very short and are lower than on my gaming PC. The controls on the PS5 feel intuitive and can be completely remapped if desired. The world is beautiful, and the combat feels dynamic on the console, sometimes even better than on PC with mouse and keyboard.
However, the version is still not perfect. I’ve noticed textures loading in during cutscenes, and much more annoyingly, there are problems with the DualSense: sometimes buttons and inputs are suddenly not recognized, meaning I couldn’t heal or switch weapons. In a boss fight, this is deadly.
This controller problem also affects the PC version and is not an isolated incident according to colleagues. As long as I can’t be sure that the PS5 version runs flawlessly at release, I cannot recommend it without hesitation.
What I have not tested on the console: the multiplayer mode. I played solo the entire time on PS5. On PC, I experienced strong delays in multiplayer with a colleague, where button presses arrived seconds late.
On PS5, Where Winds Meet supports 4K, 3D audio, and the adaptive triggers as well as the haptic feedback of the controller.
What questions remain?
In our early access version, we could only take a limited or no detailed look at two areas:
The multiplayer mode was present but only a few other players were around. We could play group challenges like dungeons with NPCs, but for example, we haven’t seen a PvP instance from the inside or participated in a mass meditation.
All monetization content was disabled. It is thus unclear what impact the in-game shop, battle pass, or cosmetic gacha system will have on the gaming experience.
In an earlier beta, the monetization was activated, and we also know how the model looks in the Chinese version. There, a large part of the paid content revolves around cosmetic items. However, you can also invest money in certain resources to make the farming grind a bit easier.
Ultimately, the final launch will show how the model for the West looks in detail and how the multiplayer content works when countless interested parties storm the servers and the automated group search.
What are the developers planning after the launch?
Where Winds Meet is set to be supported long-term with a seasonal model. It is clear that the first season is called Blade Out and runs from November 14, 2025, to February 5, 2026. Each season should bring new content such as game modes or time-limited events. A challenging hardcore difficulty level is also planned.
Furthermore, the developers want to gradually expand the main story with new chapters. A player of the Chinese version recently stated that there are now 4 large regions there (compared to 2 in the launch version in the West) and he has spent almost 1,000 hours on the currently available PvE content.

With a new form of magic, spellcasting characters in Dungeons & Dragons should combine their powers to enhance their effects even further. That it can escalate with the right planning is not only surprising for players; DMs must reckon with it as well.
What kind of magic is this? It is the so-called “Circle Magic”, introduced with the new expansion “Forgotten Realms: Heroes of Faerûn.” D&D Beyond describes it as “a ritual art that allows spellcasters to combine their powers and reshape the rules of magic”… and some players took this literally.
The player Vegetable_Variety_11 reports on Reddit that he and another player really wanted to find out how far they could go with Circle Magic and took one of the most popular spells in Dungeons & Dragons as an example, the beloved Fireball. More specifically, they looked at the “Delayed Blast Fireball,” a level 7 variant of the standard Fireball that becomes stronger with the duration of the delay and adds 1d6 per round to the regular damage of 12d6.
Normally, this duration cannot be extended beyond 10 rounds. Therefore, the maximum extra damage is 10d6, provided you can maintain your concentration for that long. However, Circle Magic offers a breakthrough through this limit, making the spell exponentially more dangerous.
Here you can see the trailer for the fourth campaign of Critical Role:
Start video
The 4th Campaign of Critical Role starts now and is bigger than ever
A Fireball Becomes a Targeted Nuclear Weapon Through Circle Magic
How does the use of Circle Magic enhance the Fireball? Through Circle Magic, the potential duration of a spell can be extended, which escalates with the number of supporting spellcasters… and the helping hands only have to sacrifice one action per round and one spell slot.
With 1 -3 helpers, the duration extends to one hour; with 4 – 6, it extends to 8 hours, and with at least 7 helpers, it extends to a full 24 hours. A delayed Fireball can, therefore, inflict a total of 14,400d6 extra damage if it deals 10d6 extra damage every minute and a group of 8 spellcasters concentrates on it together.
With an average rolled number of 3.5, a delayed Fireball with one spellcaster and 7 supporters during a 24-hour concentration period inflicts about 50,400 fire damage. This should please motivated min-maxers.
What does the community say about this calculation? The Reddit post received over 17,400 upvotes within a day, with some absolutely overwhelmed or fascinated by this wild use of Circle Magic.
“Is this even legal?” asks myflesh, but other players – and even DMs – respect this idea:
“As a DM, I would endorse this way of thinking, but only for the following reason: If you have eight spellcasters, each of whom can cast a level 7 spell, performing what is essentially a ritual to charge a magical nuclear weapon, and somehow manage to maintain that spell in enemy territory long enough to build up that magical power without drawing attention from guards or others, then you have to grant them that opportunity somehow,” writes PyroTornado107 on Reddit.
“The nature of D&D is that ultimately in every version someone discovers a nuclear weapon,” writes KamikazeArchon on Reddit.
The player lavahot summarizes it on Reddit in an atmospheric description you would want from your own DM:
Your fireball ignites. Your entire world turns into a blinding white, hot light. The roar is deafening. Your flesh dissolves from your bones. Your friends don’t even have a chance to scream before they explode into light. Then there is only darkness. Cold, unfeeling darkness. Unfeeling, endless darkness.
Then you feel a kick in your side. You wake up lying on your back and staring into the blue sky. A face with long hair appears in your view. “Wake up, Samurai,” he says, “We need to burn down a city.”
However, it must be mentioned that such use of a fireball buffed by Circle Magic still has weaknesses: As a level 7 spell, it can still be stopped by dispel magic, the affected radius remains at the possible 6 meters, and the target must not have fire resistance… otherwise, all the lengthy preparation would be in vain.
The use of Circle Magic can do much more than just extend the duration of a spell. Other effects can also be summoned with the help of allied spellcasters, turning even seemingly inconspicuous spells into truly powerful weapons. If you want to find out what else can be done with Circle Magic, you can do that here on MeinMMO: A new form of magic in Dungeons & Dragons forces you into teamwork, but makes you that much more powerful

Every child has probably heard of the Power Rangers. Whether they watched it or not, the costumed heroes catch the eye while channel surfing. But did you know that many scenes from the series already existed before?
The first series of Power Rangers originally premiered in 1993. After that, the series produced by BVS Entertainment turned into a whole franchise with new series, movies, comics, and video games. The story always focuses on a group of teenagers who must fend off evil.
For this, the teenagers received the ability to transform into the costumed Power Rangers. What cannot be missed are overly choreographed martial arts fights, which often rely on exaggerated explosions. But above all, these scenes actually come from another series.
The franchise also attempted to make a serious film:

Adapted from Japan
Where do the scenes come from? Many of the series about Power Rangers, especially the first one, consist of 2 segments: The fighting scenes with and without the giant robots and the everyday life of the teenagers. The everyday life was filmed normally for the US series, with actors, but the fighting scenes were taken from the Japanese series Super Sentai. Since the same costumes were worn, they only had to add a voice-over to the Japanese scenes.
Regarding the development of the series, Haim Saban, the media entrepreneur behind the series, told a story about a visit to Tokyo, where he turned on the television:
Suddenly these five kids in spandex appeared and beat up monsters that came to Earth to eat all the food on Earth. I cannot explain why, but I fell in love with it.
Haim Saban on his reasons for producing Power Rangers (Source: YouTube)
A deal was made with the company Tōei and the Sentai formula was adapted into an American version. As Den of Geek reports, the series then took various scenes and plot points from Super Sentai and used them for their own Power Rangers.
So, to put it simply: It was not always the heroes you saw in the everyday scenes who were fighting, but completely different actors you probably never saw. According to the channel The Fan Club (YouTube), these are up to 57% of an episode in the first series.
Some scenes were played back faster or edited differently. If you look closely at the episodes, you can even spot differences in picture quality. The user rangersentaiguy2 has compared some scenes in a YouTube video:

What is Super Sentai about? The franchise started in Japan in 1975 and is still a huge franchise there, not only airing weekly but also producing a lot of merchandise. The series belongs to the Tokusatsu genre, which can simply be translated as Special Effects.
Small and large kaiju (a term that Godzilla established) must be defeated by heroes in colorful suits. Important franchises in the genre include Ultraman, Kamen Rider, and Super Sentai itself. New series continue to appear for the brands, and even though the genre mainly targets children, there are also titles aimed more at adults, including:
The series Kamen Rider Black Sun
The movie Shin Kamen Rider
The movie Shin Ultraman
The Power Rangers are still a well-known brand. The latest series in the franchise was Power Rangers Cosmic Fury, which premiered on Netflix in 2023.
Many gamers find PC gaming too expensive nowadays and are calling for an alternative. The Steam Machine could reach thousands of players here, if the price is right in the end. But this time the chances look good for the Steam Machine.
In 2017, the first Steam Machine from Valve failed. In 2025, the system is being revived and aims to offer modern hardware in a small format for a wide range of players.
In a time when companies like AMD and Nvidia are increasingly focusing on AI and server chips, the Steam Machine could become a real alternative for many gamers – if the price is right in the end.
Many gamers have affordable and older graphics cards
What is the general situation? The largest proportion of players on the Steam platform tend to use older or cheaper graphics cards. These primarily include models like the RTX 3060, RTX 3050, and sometimes even slower models like the GTX 1650.
The GeForce GTX 1650 is still among the top 5 graphics cards, even though it only has 4 GB of memory, which is very limited for many games. Following it is the RTX 3050. High-end models like the RTX 5090 are represented by only 0.30%.
The Steam Hardware Survey regularly reflects the situation, even if their data may currently be distorted by bugs and incomplete data collection (especially for AMD cards). The trend that the average user does not use high-end components remains.

No real alternatives for budget gamers on the market
For mid-range graphics cards, prices are often demanded above 300 euros, and real alternatives under 200 euros in new condition are rare. Even a modern RX 9060 XT costs at least 270 euros. Used goods often remain the only affordable option, offering no modern features or driver updates.
Additionally, the current price developments in the market are making gaming PCs for beginners increasingly unattractive. Even game consoles, which were often considered alternatives, now cost over 500 euros.
For AMD and Nvidia, AI is currently more important: At the same time, companies like AMD and Nvidia are increasingly less interested in providing gamers with an attractive offer in the budget sector, which is largely due to the AI boom: Both AMD and Nvidia are currently heavily focusing on AI innovations and shifting many resources from the gaming to the data center and AI GPU segments (via PCGamesHardware.de).
The profits in the AI sector are significantly higher for both companies than in the classic gaming market, leading to the urgently requested price reductions and gaming innovations receiving less attention.
Demand for affordable alternatives
The demand for affordable alternatives continues to exist among gamers. The rising prices for graphics cards, memory, and other components have made PC gaming more expensive and less attractive for many users.
Particularly for entry-level and budget-conscious gamers, the Steam Machine could thus become a real alternative at a time when there are hardly any genuine alternatives, aside from streaming services like GeForce Now or the current Steam Deck. Even gaming handhelds, which were often considered alternatives, are getting more expensive and now cost as much as a mid-range PC: For the Lenovo Legion Go Gen 2, for example, the best configuration now costs around 1,300 euros.
Steam OS is accessible, but it will ultimately depend on the price
The Steam Machine could reach a relevant target group, provided it actually offers adequate performance and remains competitively priced. Many Steam games do not require high-end graphics cards, so even cheaper hardware is sufficient. Steam OS is also simple and accessible software that is easy for beginners to understand.
Moreover, the Steam Machine, as Valve emphasizes, is an open platform: Those who do not want to use Steam OS can also install Windows or other operating systems. Therefore, with the Steam Machine, you get performance and accessibility without the restrictions of a console like the PS5.
If Valve sets the price fairly, manufacturers like AMD and Nvidia could potentially lose many buyers, who might then prefer a Steam Machine over a new, expensive graphics card.
MeinMMO explains what you should consider when buying a graphics card. Because there are several things you should keep in mind before purchasing a new graphics card. The most important points are presented in detail in our article: What you should consider when buying a graphics card

Animators are only human, and mistakes can happen. But an artist from One Piece now has to face accusations that he used AI for his scene in the anime.
What mistake did the artist make? In the current One Piece episode 1149, there is a scene with Nusjuro, one of the Five Elders, drawing his sword for battle. He is about to attack Jewelry Bonney, who is actually a child. However, she is ultimately saved by Franky.
For about a second, Nusjuro holds his hand on the sword’s hilt. Those who look closely will see that the immortal fighter has one finger too many. A picture on Reddit shows that the thumb below the sword’s hilt actually wouldn’t have been necessary:

And this mistake has now apparently caused a shitstorm for the artist. He has been inundated with negative comments so much that he is now justifying himself.
Fans accuse the artist of using AI
What do fans say about the mistake? On Reddit, some users write that they can’t understand how such a mistake could go unnoticed until the episode aired. There have even been many fans who attacked the artist on social media.
They accused him of using artificial intelligence to draw. As a result, the mistake was made and went unnoticed. In the early days, AI particularly struggled with hands and was bad at generating them. Often, this ended up with an incorrect number of fingers, according to the users.

What does the artist say about it? On his profile on X, the artist apologizes for the mistake. He denies using artificial intelligence:
After someone from overseas pointed it out to me, I realized that I made a mistake with the number of fingers in the graphic, and I’m really sorry now. Why didn’t I notice it? It passed all checks, so I’m really sorry. I saw something about AI, but I am totally analog myself.
This is especially bad for him because he will not be working on One Piece for a few years. He will be working on a new project in the coming years. So fans will likely not see him reflect on this mistake and improve for several years.
Following his apology, fans show themselves to be much more understanding in his comments. They would forgive him for the mistake and do not find it bad if a picture turns out not well. They rate all his other pictures a 10/10.

Pokémon GO brings you a feature that rewards you and your friends with more rewards – again.
In Pokémon GO, there are many ways to earn rewards. These include time-limited researches, field researches, or the GO Pass.
Now a feature is activated in the game that rewards you for playing with friends. It doesn’t matter whether you are near them or not. The curious thing is: the feature isn’t really new.

Pokémon GO: The Season “Stories of Transformation” in the Trailer
Rolled out, turned off, rolled out
What is this feature? The feature is the weekly challenges. You have one week each time to complete a challenge together with up to 3 of your friends. One such task could be to spin 250 PokéStops or Gyms together in a week.
If you successfully complete a weekly challenge, you will receive additional progress towards your friendship level with your friends, 20,000 experience points, and 6,000 Stardust. If you do not manage to complete the task in time, you will still receive a partial reward in the form of Stardust.
The feature was already activated in Pokémon GO in mid-October. However, due to problems, it was turned off just one day later and affected players were compensated. Now there is a new attempt to bring the feature into the game.
When will the feature be released? According to a post on the official Pokémon GO account on X, the feature will be gradually activated starting today. First, it will be available in New Zealand. When exactly it will be available for you is not known in detail.
However, it shouldn’t take long before the feature is available to all players worldwide, again.
Where can I find the feature? Once the feature is activated, you can find it by clicking on your picture in the game. There, the tab “Groups” will be replaced by “Team” where you will also find the option to participate in the weekly challenges.
In Pokémon GO, there is currently an event that should get you into the mood for the great Nature Zone 2025 this weekend. Here, you can expect not only many legendary and some strong monsters in raids, but also some strong bonuses and further content: All information about the event ‘Off to Adventure’.

2025 is a rocky year for Diablo 4, in terms of its top employees. Adam Fletcher is stepping down after two executives from Blizzard have already left before him. The community is already mourning the ever-cheerful and friendly (former) Community Manager.
Who is the employee?
Adam Fletcher was originally the Community Manager for Diablo 4 and has since risen at Blizzard, first becoming the Head of Community, then additionally the Director of Social & Content Marketing – the latter role only starting in early 2025.
In the community, Fletcher was primarily known for the Campfire Chats, where he discussed players’ questions and concerns as a mouthpiece directly with the developers in the livestream.
Fletcher is known to be always friendly and close to the community, always wanting to explain the development decisions to them. He will leave the company on November 19.
This is what Fletcher says about his resignation:On X, where Fletcher goes by the name PezRadar, he writes nothing detailed about the circumstances of his resignation – only that he will be leaving Blizzard.
Fletcher emphasizes that he enjoyed working on Diablo and with the Diablo community:
Blizzard has become more to me than just the games, as it has for many others. It was about the people, and I will miss them dearly every day. […] These [Diablo] developers truly care, want the best for the players, and working with them was the highlight of my day – every day. […]
I cannot thank the players enough for the Reddit threads, tweets out of nowhere, DMs late at night, and more – sometimes with critical and necessary feedback, sometimes just to express the love for the game, and sometimes just with a “thank you.”
The community appreciates Fletcher especially for his activity on X, Reddit, and other social media, where there was always some kind of reaction or response from him on every important topic.

Season 10 in Diablo 4 macht endlich wieder Spaß
“Extremely sincere and kind, even to communities that are not his”
On Reddit and other platforms, fans express their sadness over Fletcher’s departure but also mention that they could understand his decision – especially considering the job market.
It is currently impossible to earn more money without starting a completely new position. As sad as that is, when one wants to survive in some way, it is often simply necessary.
However, the news raises concerns among some players, as Fletcher is already the third employee this year to leave Blizzard, having played an important role in Diablo 4:
Only in August 2025 did Rod Fergusson announce his departure. As the “Closer”, Fergusson has overseen the Diablo franchise for 5 years and monitored the releases.
In the community, some players are now worried about the future of the game. It is not a good sign when so many people from the leadership disappear in such quick succession. However, Fletcher reassures in his tweet:
Diablo has tons of [stuff] coming, and I can’t wait to see how it all unfolds as the franchise celebrates its 30th anniversary. And the best part: I can watch it all from the sidelines. It’s going to be a wild ride!
Fletcher asks the community to keep the feedback coming – even without him. For him, the journey now continues, he has something “on the horizon,” but wants to say more about it later. Despite the gloomy mood, there are also good news from the developers: Diablo 4 loses the man who saved the game, but gets a veteran back in ARPGs

A new Minecraft server is starting soon. Here you can immerse yourself in a medieval experience and enjoy many contents.
What is this project? Ottonien is a Minecraft server that has existed in its first version since 2015. It is a German roleplay server set in the historical medieval period without elements of fantasy such as elves, dwarves, and magic.
On November 14, 2025, the new version of the project will launch. And it comes with a lot of content to take you back to the Middle Ages.

Ottonien bringt euch das Mittelalter zu Minecraft
Quests, building, combat
Where does the server take place? On the server, you find yourself in the year 1304 on the island of Ottonien. This is a small, fictional island located on the northern edge of the Holy Roman Empire.
What content is available on the server? Ottonien comes with its own character creator, allowing you to create your character in the game. Once you have done that, NPCs, quests, and abilities await you in the usual roleplay fashion, ready to be leveled up.
The abilities include both combat skills like sword or polearm combat, professional skills like weapon smithing or archery, as well as skills like fishing or hunting to sustain your character. Currently, there are a total of 20 skills available, which can be found in the project’s wiki.
The developers also place great importance on a historical medieval experience. Accordingly, the style of the buildings in the game is designed to be period-appropriate and accurately built. This includes realistic measurements that fit the time. Additionally, mob farms are prohibited in every respect.
To enhance immersion, Ottonien relies on lived roleplay. Therefore, you should always make an effort to stay in character and behave according to the setting and time within the server.
You can also form a retinue and thus unite several vassals into a faction. A economic system is also part of Ottonien, where taxes and dues must be paid.
An interactive map of Ottonien is also part of the project. Here, you can always see which areas exist in the game and which retinue currently rules over them.
How can I join the server? To join the server, you need Minecraft version 1.20.4. You also need to download the resource pack provided by the developers as well as a compatible version of Optifine. Afterwards, you can join the server.
MeinMMO editor Dariusz Müller spoke in an interview with the developers of Battlefield about the development and future of REDSEC.
When Battlefield REDSEC celebrated its release on October 28, 2025, the mode received criticism from Battlefield 6 players. A major point of discussion was the daily and weekly challenges of the game, as these now also included challenges for the Battle Royale in the main game.
Many players then expressed that they did not want REDSEC to affect the Battlefield 6 experience. Therefore, MeinMMO editor Dariusz Müller spoke in an interview with Battlefield developers Thomas “Tompen” Andersson (Creative Director of Battlefield 6) and Justin Wiebe (Design Director) about the impacts of REDSEC on the development of Battlefield 6 as well as a potential solo mode and the future plans of the Battle Royale.
Start video
Battlefield 6: Mit diesen Tipps werdet ihr zum besseren Squad-Spieler
“We could do everything we want for both”
MeinMMO: To what extent does REDSEC affect the development of Battlefield 6?
Justin Wiebe:“It is something that, you know, we’ve held core to how we build REDSEC, how we build Battlefield 6 since the very beginning. And this is the reason why we wanted to launch Battlefield 6 first, to ensure that we deliver exactly what players want and expect from a Battlefield experience. […]
It’s really important to note that we developed REDSEC while simultaneously working on Battlefield 6, so we didn’t make a bunch of decisions along the way, that would diminish what Battlefield 6 was. We made sure that this is the core identity of the software, while in doing so, looked at how we can build simultaneously the REDSEC experience to deliver an outstanding Battle Royale that’s designed to stand the test of time, that we designed an outstanding game mode like Gauntlet that not only takes the core of Battlefield 6 but mixes it in its own way. […] The Battlefield formula has only improved the REDSEC experience over time.
And if there were a decision to say, we really need to do this for REDSEC, but it would result in making Battlefield 6 feeling worse, well, then we would never do that. At that point, we would fork the code, we would make changes so that REDSEC can deal with whatever specific issue it has without compromising the core of Battlefield 6.”
Thomas Andersson:“And just to add to that: We are making sure that we have the development team to support multiple experiences. It’s not just the small team sitting and starving content from one to do the other. We could do everything that we want for both.”
Justin Wiebe:“Yeah, that’s the Battlefield Studios. I mean, this is nothing we’ve ever done before, have that many studios working on a Battlefield product simultaneously. With that, of course, comes a lot of challenges, right? Because, I mean, there are so many, many studios all working simultaneously. Historically, you’dhave one studio, maybe a support studio, working on Battlefield.
So in no way has it diminished or taken away from Battlefield. All we’ve done is layered on more than we ever would have done.“
Not an add-on, but a complete package
Battlefield REDSEC can only be played in duos or squads of up to four players. Shortly after the launch of the Battle Royale, part of the community called for a mode for solo players. The developers said the following in the interview:
MeinMMO: Why does Battlefield REDSEC not have a solo mode and are there any corresponding plans for the future?
Thomas Andersson:“We wanted to focus on giving people the ‘class squad experience’ that we designed the game for in the beginning. There are considerations, like we are talking about, the timing of adding a solo version of this, it is a very different experience, so, I think right now, the fact that we launched with the squad and the duos thing is something that we’re happy with and wanted people to have that as their first experience of the game.”
Justin Wiebe: “I think, in addition to what Tompen mentioned, the other factor is that we want to make sure that not only the squad play comes through really clear, that it’s a very tactical game where players come together and need to work together with the various squad abilities to win.
But when we look at solo, and we look at the different mechanics that we have in the game, the game was designed at its core to emphasize squad play, and so some of the abilities you get when you’re leveling up in the training path, so they’re very squad-focused. So, in order to do solo play, we don’t want to just, like, to turn off all squads and let them play. We want to make sure that every ability still makes sense. That the revive towers and things like that, that normally wouldn’t work, have a purpose in the game. So, we want to make sure that when we’re going to release solo play, it’s not just an add-on, that it feels like a complete package.
MeinMMO:What are the future plans for Battlefield REDSEC?
Justin Wiebe: “I mean, this is the very beginning of the journey, right? So, we’re really pleased with the reception of how the game has come out. We think that this is a great platform from which we can then build off of.
The team has obviously learned a lot since they released Firestorm back in the day, and live services is everything for battle royales, and we want to make sure as players are going to be playing in the ecosystem, that it’s going to be changing. I think the most important is that we‘re listening to our community and our players. So, not only are we going to be reacting to the fan feedback, but we’ve also got some aggressive plans on how we’re going to be changing up the world to make it a more, you know, continue to evolve it to be an interesting place to explore.
Our first big updateis going to come out very soon, called California Resistance, in which we’re going to be changing things up with, you know, secret prototype weapons and things like that for players to find. So there’s gonna be a lot really interesting beats and moments that are gonna kind of change how the game plays from month to month as we ‘re going forward with the live services.”
The mentioned prototype weapons are the Battle-Pickups, as the developers later explained. These are powerful weapons that you can find at various locations on the maps. The Battle-Pickups will fundamentally work the same way as you know from Battlefield 4.
The Battle-Pickups will be released with the second part of Season 1, “California Resistance,” on November 18, 2025, and will be available in both Battlefield 6 and Battlefield REDSEC. If you want to read again what to expect in the second part of the season, you can take a look at the roadmap on MeinMMO: Battlefield 6 shows the Season 1 roadmap and reveals what’s next after the release

Whether it be movies, series or games – China is involved in all entertainment products and transports its own genres abroad. One of the best-known is Wuxia. But what exactly is that?
What is Wuxia? Simply put: Wuxia is the term for a specific genre of Chinese works. Wuxia (武俠) consists of 2 words. As wukong Education explains, wǔ means something like martial or military and xiá means something like hero or chivalrous person.
Protagonists are often wandering heroes, comparable to knights, who stand out primarily through their martial arts. A certain sense of honor is also present. Essentially, they are hero stories.
The Wuxia genre that is associated with the term today is mainly based on the works of Liang Yusheng (his real name is Cheng Wentong). Together with Jin Yong and Go Long in the 1950s, he established the New School of Wuxia and many elements that are indispensable in the genre.
Liang Yusheng mixed classical Chinese literature, poetics, and history, thus solidifying the genre, which still relies on these elements today. According to WuxiaSociety, one must have 3 elements to properly implement a Wuxia work:
Knowledge of history, geography, religion, and customs
Knowledge of classical Chinese literature and literary techniques
Basic knowledge of Chinese martial arts
Initially, Wuxia referred only to novels, but over time, films, series, and games have also adapted the genre. To this day, these 3 pillars remain important.
One of the most recent titles in the Wuxia genre is the game Where Winds Meet:
Start video
Where Winds Meet excites 15 million players in China, now a new gameplay trailer shows how it should work in the West
Features of Wuxia
How to recognize Wuxia works? On one hand, the time period is important. Wuxia works often have a historical setting, usually between the Yuan Dynasty (1279 to 1368) and the Qing Dynasty (1644 to 1911). The focus is on martial arts and Qi, the term for life energy.
Although the fighters in the works often use extraordinary techniques – they can jump several meters high or glide through the air – there are no supernatural powers like ghosts.
While martial arts are at the center, unlike Kung Fu works, it’s not about fighting itself, but about what the fighters represent and the morals that the heroes follow.
As is often the case, works can incorporate elements from multiple genres. Sometimes the focus is on the fights, sometimes on the story, sometimes on the historical context.
What about Wuxia films? The first Wuxia films in China appeared as early as the 1920s (Source: Mapping Contemporary Cinema). Since then, Wuxia has been an important part of the Chinese film and series landscape, albeit not without controversy. Between 1933 and 1938, the genre was banned, and again in 1949 (Source: escholarship.org). Later, the genre was revived.
The various films also contain central elements, in addition to those established by Liang Yusheng:
They are often produced as epics. There are large, historical sets, gigantic armies, extravagant costumes, and props.
Generally, many Wuxia films are colorful. They play with colors, not only in clothing but also in sets and weather effects.
In acting, one often notices a certain theatricality. Emotions are presented broadly and dramatically, often love and honor are themes.
The fights incorporate elements of traditional martial arts, but mix them with superhuman elements, such as high jumps, gliding, and various weapons. Elaborate choreography is an important aspect.
A historical context is usually ever-present.
Main characters often do not have a happy ending. They sacrifice themselves for their ideals, even if it means dying for it.
Important film works of the Wuxia genre include Hero and House ofFlying Daggers by Zhang Yimou, Tiger and Dragon by Ang Lee, or Once Upon a Time in China by Tsui Hark. There are also still Wuxia works in modernity. With Sakra (2023), Shadow (2018), or the Detective Dee series (2010–2018), well-known films in the genre were released not too long ago.
Are there many Wuxia games? Yes. In the video game area, the genre is represented just as strongly as in films. A current example is Where Winds Meet, but the following games also have elements of the genre:
Death Stranding has impressed many players with its creative story and world, but has also confused many viewers since the trailers. Now, the video game series is getting its own anime.
What kind of anime will it be? So far, the series is titled Death Stranding Isolations, but it may change before the release. Although the anime is set in the world of the video game, it will tell a completely new story.
The focus is therefore no longer on protagonist Sam but on a young man and a young woman. The two embark on an adventure in a world where the dead are connected to the world of the living.
Due to explosions, humanity is reduced to a minimum. Some people try to reconnect the isolated individuals, for example, through bridges. So far, there is no trailer, but there is a first image that likely shows the two protagonists.

Hideo Kojima, the head of Kojima Productions, is involved in the anime as an executive producer.
When and where can you watch it? The anime is set to premiere on Disney+ in 2027. There is no exact date yet.
What does anime expert Jasmin think about it? As an anime expert at MeinMMO, this series feels like a perfect fit for me. I’ve wished for series or movies based on the video game since the release of Death Stranding, as the story and world fascinated me immensely – the gameplay, not so much.
It was totally annoying and at some point just felt like stretching the gameplay duration while trudging around, hauling packages, and setting up ladders that would end up broken and rusty on the way back. That’s why I haven’t yet braved Part 2, which peacefully rests in my game shelf.
However, the anime is a great opportunity for me and other players who found the gameplay rather mediocre to experience more of the game’s world. All the mysteries and the art style have completely thrilled me – that’s why I’m looking forward to every anime that is currently in the works.
As part of G-Star 2025, NCsoft has introduced the MMORPG set in the Horizon universe for the first time and showcased a lot of gameplay. A large part of the community is very pleased with the scenes shown.
In early 2025, confusion arose, as the publisher was said to have canceled several projects. At times, the Horizon MMORPG was also mentioned in these reports. However, the original source ultimately clarified that this development is still ongoing. Due to the lack of an official statement from NCsoft, there was a question mark behind all this.
This question mark turned into an exclamation point at G-Star 2025 last night. The Horizon MMORPG lives on and is officially called Horizon Steel Frontiers. NCsoft and the franchise creators at Guerrilla Games are working together on the project.
There is no release date yet, but the game is expected to be released for PC (initially only on NCsoft’s platform Purple) and Mobile, featuring crossplay and cross-progression. Other MMOs from NCsoft have shown in the past that a release on Steam is likely. You can see the first gameplay trailer below:

Horizon Steel Frontiers: Trailer zeigt endlich Gameplay aus dem MMORPG zur Welt von Aloy
Monster Hunter gets competition
Clearly Horizon: The approximately 3 minutes of gameplay should provide many fans of the Horizon games with relief. The design of the world and the battles, where you must shoot at enemy weaknesses, are clearly based on the main games of the series. Despite the mobile version, the detailed graphics are impressive.
In a concurrently released developer video over 10 minutes long on YouTube (see also below), the developers reveal that Steel Frontiers takes you to the Deadlands, which is said to have been inspired by original locations in Arizona and New Mexico. In the Deadlands, you should encounter “thousands of other players”.
Horizon Steel Frontiers is designed to offer both cooperative (hunting monsters together) and competitive content (battles between tribes, competition in resource gathering). You navigate the world on foot, on mounts, or with the help of a grapple hook.
The story is not neglected, as shown by some scenes featuring elaborately staged sequences and dialogues. Unlike in the main series of Horizon games, you can create your own character in the editor of Steel Frontiers.

How is the community reacting to the announcement? The reactions of many players are positive, even though some are concerned about the platform plans. Many feel reminded of a certain monster series by Capcom.
Franco.FRANKU writes on YouTube: “This looks like a Monster Hunter … and I really like that.”
zackabean agrees on YouTube: “This looks like a Monster Hunter, I’m excited.”
ShinyRyuji is torn on YouTube: “This looks fantastic, but I don’t want to play it on mobile. PS5, please.”
Frøst-PS adds on YouTube: “This looks fantastic, and as a Horizon fan, it’s a slap in the face that it’s not coming to PS5. It feels like we’re having another ‘Don’t you all have phones?’ situation.”
With this, Frøst-PS refers to the announcement of Diablo Immortal, which was met with critical boos from BlizzCon attendees. The main reason: A major Diablo announcement had been promised in advance, but then they just announced “only” a mobile Diablo. The awkward reaction of the developers was to ask the audience if they didn’t have any phones. Faker has already won the World Championships of League of Legends six times. Now the Gamer Of All Time wants to pay more attention to his health.
What did Faker say about his health? In an interview after the Finals of Worlds 2025 on November 9, 2025, the members of the winning team T1 were asked some questions (YouTube.com).
Faker was asked what his next chapter would be. The LoL player responded that he wants to continue to give his best as a professional, as he is under contract until at least 2029. Furthermore, Faker spoke about his health. Before Worlds 2025, he did a health check and revealed that his well-being has deteriorated compared to previous examinations.

The trailer of the new champion of League of Legends showcases his abilities in action
Why does Faker want to take better care of his health? Faker believes that health directly affects performance and therefore wants to keep a closer eye on his health in the coming year.
He also mentions the attitude as a professional or gamer in general, as with age he thinks more about health, especially when one is constantly in a position in front of a screen.
Faker may let fans decide which Worlds skin he gets
What did Faker say about his Worlds 2025 skin? Every player who wins the LoL Worlds receives a special skin. In the same interview where Faker talked about his health, he was also asked if he would finally get a skin for the champion Galio. Faker couldn’t say much about it, but he is likely to let the fans decide again.
How many skins would this be for Faker? Since every player who wins the Worlds receives a skin, Faker has already gained six skins through the World Championships alone. Additionally, there is another one for winning the MVP award. He was also the first player in the Hall of Legends and received three skins at once.
That would make a total of 10 skins just for Faker. Interestingly, he almost never plays with an alternate look for champions, except in 2014 when a tournament staff accidentally selected a skin. Even before his victory at Worlds 2025, he had more skins than a third of all champions: Faker is such a legend in LoL that he has something that many champions lack

In a few days, one of the best games based on the sci-fi epic Battlestar Galactica is flying from Steam. You can still secure it now at a great discount in some online stores.
What game is this about? Battlestar Galactica Deadlock is a strategy game from the developer Black Lab Games, released on August 31, 2017, on Steam. The setting is the eponymous sci-fi universe of Battlestar Galactica.
The original series, which was titled “Battlestar Galactica” in German, aired from 1978 to 1980, but the game is based on the 2004 reboot. On Steam, the game currently has 2,558 ratings with a very good 86 percent positive reviews.
On November 15, 2025, Battlestar Galactica Deadlock will disappear from the stores: Owners will not lose access to the game, but missing DLCs will not be available for purchase anymore.
On Steam itself, there is no farewell discount for Battlestar Galactica Deadlock. However, you can secure the game and the DLCs at a lower price through other venues.
On GOG, you can currently get the base game for about 70% off at only €11.09 instead of €36.99. The DLCs are also discounted there.
Steam keys are available cheaper through Fanatical, where the base game is about €9.43.

Successful mix of real-time and turn-based strategy
What is the game about? In Battlestar Galactica Deadlock, you take control of the Colonial Fleet. Your mission is to defend the Twelve Colonies during the First Cylon War. The story takes place before the events of the actual series, serving as a kind of prequel.
On the command bridge of the mobile shipyard Daidalos, you train troops and build new battleships. There you also find a world map where you move your armies. When you receive the signal that one of your fleets is under attack, you jump into the battle.
The space battles in Battlestar Galactica Deadlock occur in a combination of real-time and turn-based strategy:
At the beginning of each battle, you position your fleet. Then you give individual ships commands.
When you end your turn, both your ships and your enemy’s ships execute their commands simultaneously. During this time, you cannot give them any further commands.
This way, battles proceed in real-time, but you can still take enough time to plan your actions.
The world of Cyberpunk 2077 is full of exciting characters that V encounters in the race against time and mortality. However, there are also lesser-known characters that harbor a lot of story potential. We want to mention them in this list.
Night City, the so-called “City of Dreams,” is home to many interesting, dangerous, lovable, and strange inhabitants, making the city and the story of Cyberpunk 2077 so vibrant.
The colorful yet gloomy future of the Cyberpunk universe is characterized by corporations, corruption, and violence, in which some dubious but also underestimated characters roam.
The protagonist V finds not only enemies or allies among these characters but also friends, love, and family—all characters that players quickly grow fond of.
But we must not forget other candidates without whom the world simply wouldn’t be as round. Without side characters and NPCs, the streets of Night City and the missions of the story would not be the same. And some of these side characters offer a lot of potential for narrative development.
Here you can see the trailer for the “City of Dreams” in Cyberpunk 2077:
Select a MMO video…
In this list, we want to introduce you to the side characters about whom we would have liked to know more. Whether they are just cool characters we would have liked to experience more content from or somewhat strange individuals who could uncover all the secrets of the Cyberpunk world.
We are only referring to characters that can be defined as side characters. Important, fundamental people like Judy, Panam, Jacky, or Takemura are excluded here, and we are rather focusing on those who deserved more story.
Lizzy Wizzy
The musician Lizzy Wizzy is one of the most famous personalities in Night City. Besides her music, which can be heard on all radio stations, she especially stands out because of her completely modified body, which presents her completely in chrome from head to toe (except for her hair). However, this is not only quite expensive, but also comes with certain side effects that are considered a significant danger in the world of Cyberpunk: Cyberpsychosis.
The singer asks V to spy on her boyfriend since she has become suspicious of him and his intentions. However, in dealing with Lizzy, V quickly realizes that she behaves somewhat oddly: dwindling empathy, memory gaps, a changing personality. Along with all the body modifications, all these signs indicate a specific diagnosis that Lizzy, however, ignores.
You leave the musician with an uneasy feeling, as you are not sure what will happen to her. Cases of cyberpsychosis are on the rise in the city – and even famous personalities are not spared from it.
It would certainly be interesting to find out what has happened to Lizzy.
