ARC-Raiders-Expedition.jpg

In ARC Raiders you can soon send your character on its third expedition. What rewards await you upon completion and what materials you need for all steps, you can find out here.

Update, April 21, 2026: The article has been adjusted and updated regarding the changes to the conditions for the expedition. A new departure date and required damage numbers have been added.

When does Expedition 3 start? In ARC Raiders, the construction phase for Expedition 3 has already begun. Players can now start gathering resources to donate them. The following dates should be noted to not miss the respective time windows:

  • Construction phase March 2 to April 28, 2026: This is when you start submitting your collected materials to complete the respective steps for the expedition.
  • Registration for departure April 28 to May 11, 2026: Embark now gives you 13 days to decide whether you want to participate in the wipe. If you register, the choice is binding. Completing your trailer does not count as registration; you must actively select this afterward.
  • Departure day – Monday, May 11, 2026: Your Raider embarks on its journey – the wipe is now irreversible. At 09:00 CEST, all who are registered will automatically depart.

If you miss the registration and do not send your Raider on the journey, your progress will be saved for the next expedition. You can simply continue from where you left off when the next expedition starts.

Rewards for Expedition 3

What rewards await in Expedition 3? If you decide to participate in the expedition, you can expect permanent and temporary bonuses and rewards. Temporary buffs can stack up to three times, once for each consecutive expedition. However, they will be lost if you miss a start window (source: arcraiders.wiki).

Temporary buffs include:

  • Repair buff (10% per completion of an expedition)
  • XP boost (5% per completion of an expedition)
  • Scrappys yield boost (6% per completion of an expedition)

Specific permanent rewards include cosmetics, storage slots, skill points, and the ability to “buy back” missed skill points from previous expeditions if you missed them. If it is your first expedition, you will receive the rewards of the first expedition.

Requirements for Additional Skill Points

Previously, you only needed enough coins to “buy” the skill points of the respective expedition. This will change for Expedition 3. Embark states on arcraiders.com: “Instead of hoarding storage value and coins, players must now inflict damage to receive all 5 skill points.”

How much damage is required here is still unclear. We will add the exact numbers here once they are determined.

This means concretely:

  • You must inflict a certain amount of damage, regardless of whether it is your first, second, or third expedition.
  • All players who have completed their trailer will receive the challenge. You will see it even without registration.
  • You complete the challenge by inflicting damage on any target with any weapon or gadget (except on the practice range).
  • In total, you have 13 days to complete the damage challenge.
    • Damage requirements:
    • 1 skill point: 5,000 damage
    • 2 skill points: 10,000 damage
    • 3 skill points: 30,000 damage
    • 4 skill points: 50,000 damage
    • 5 skill points: 100,000 damage

To put the damage in perspective, Embark states: “100,000 damage points correspond to the destruction of about 20 bastions. In internal tests, we found that in a single very good round, 8,000 – 10,000 damage is achievable.”

Players who want to buy back the skill points from previous expeditions must also first complete the damage challenge before they can spend 300,000 coins per skill point – a total of 1,500,000 coins for all five skill points.
