In patch 3.0, the area Sumeru is introduced in Genshin Impact. The area is thought to be inspired by the Arabian Peninsula, Egypt, and/or South Asia. So far, a few characters for this region have also been released and leaked, but these do not appeal to some fans at all – they claim they are not representative of the countries.
What is the situation? Genshin Impact includes various areas in its world Teyvat, based on different countries of our Earth along with their cultures. So far, the following three exist:
Mondstadt: Germany
Liyue: China
Inazuma: Japan
Now, the Chinese developers Hoyoverse want to release the area Sumeru in the latest update, which is reportedly based on South Asia, the Arabian Peninsula, and/or Egypt.
Appropriately, they have already posted 3 new playable characters and a trailer. However, some players now believe that the characters do not adequately represent these countries and cultures – they appear too white or pale. They even go so far as to say that the developers are racist.

Players criticize: Sumeru characters are not representative
What is the criticism? Fans believe that the characters, Tighnari, Collei, and Dori are all too pale. The outcry was especially loud regarding Tighnari, as he has a classic Arabic name (via Twitter).
Some artists have even given him a redesign and given him a darker skin tone (via Twitter).
People in these countries are thought to have darker skin, say the players, and they accuse the developers of being racists. So far, there are only 2 heroes with darker skin, and that is not enough among nearly 50 characters.
The characters in question look like this:

Genshin YouTuber engages in the racism debate
The YouTuber AsianGuyStream tried to portray the situation a bit differently in his video and explained to people where the “real issue” lies. He also stated that he doesn’t think the developers are racists, but simply culturally ignorant.
According to him, they do take many elements from culture and implement them in the game, but the characters do not look accordingly – this is harmful and hurts people from precisely such a region.
As an example, he mentions the characters from Liyue, who all look completely Chinese and represent Chinese culture quite well.
AsianGuyStream further expressed that one should imagine the developers not coming from China, but from America. If individual heroes from Liyue were now blond, had blue eyes, and were as pale as the Sumeru characters, this would certainly upset players as well.
People should put themselves in the position of those whose land, people, and culture are being represented, so that they may gain more understanding for those who feel hurt or attacked by it.

Fans speculate about why Genshin Impact does not bring characters with darker skin.
Three explanatory models have clearly emerged:
In China, white skin is considered a beauty ideal and the developers want to make money with their game. Accordingly, dark-skinned heroes would mean less revenue since China makes the most profit (via Twitter).
AsianGuyStream and other players say that China lives very isolated from other countries and hardly sees foreigners there. They simply do not know what such people look like.
Will the players’ criticism be heard? That remains to be seen. In each region, about 15–20 characters usually appear, so there is still plenty of room for heroes of different skin tones.
There are even leaks from reliable leakers showing more upcoming figures: Almost all of them are white again, showing only a little diversity.

What do the counterarguments say? Of course, there are also players who find the planned figures and their design great. They do not understand why so many fans complain about the skin color and advise them to wait for a while.
Furthermore, they label the critics as racists for attacking the white characters and insisting on wanting to see dark skin.
Others just shake their heads and do not understand the debate. They believe that it is just a game and a fantasy world. One should simply enjoy Genshin Impact.
What do other trainers say about it? Other players like StinkyTofuHF have also experienced this and submitted numerous new stops in their area, which have appeared in the game but spawn virtually nothing. He writes in the comments on reddit:
I worked hard on Wayfarer to ensure my neighborhood is full of PokéStops. After 3 years, it now has 8 PokéStops, 3 Gyms, and how many spawns? None, because Niantic is too busy making all these negative QOL changes that no one asked for instead of updating the map.
But it’s not just the update of the map that is a major topic among players. Some desire additional incentives to make their surroundings more interesting again and to have fun playing as long-time trainers. One possibility the reddit community sees is the improvement of nests.
How to best submit new PokéStops has recently been revealed to us by YouTuber ChaosLady in an interview:
What are nests? Nests are small areas in the game, for example near water, where you can catch a certain type of Pokémon, like Magikarp, in larger numbers. Especially in the early days of the game, these were frequently found in Pokémon GO and were very popular among players.
Reddit user deirdresm reports in the comments that in 2016 he caught about 30 Magikarp in an hour with the help of the nests near a marina (via reddit.com).
Where are the nests now? According to many players, the nests have become increasingly rare in recent years, leading them to suspect that this is related to the numerous events in the game that displace the nests. This is also confirmed by the experience of OrganicMasonJars:
I have a park nearby that was full of Wailmer nests at the start of the pandemic; it was amazing to evolve them. Now it’s just the same selection of event spawns, and it’s not worth taking a detour to go there.
What do trainers wish for? Since nests are becoming increasingly difficult to find or often only spawn less interesting Pokémon like Pidove, many wish that Niantic brings nests back in a new way.
Additionally, a few new Pokémon should be added to the pool, and old Pokémon, especially from the Kanto region, should be reduced. This would make searching for nests even more interesting. Some trainers in the comments especially wish for somewhat rarer Pokémon, like Atip, Cottonee, Lurantis, or Iscalar.
And reddit user BorisDirk is convinced that a change in nests would positively influence players’ desire to explore and writes on reddit: “You can do so much with nests. More interesting species, higher shiny rates, more XL candies. All fantastic for encouraging exploration!”
Whether you will actually be able to find more nests in Pokémon GO in the future and whether Niantic will finally update the map to establish spawns in new areas remains to be seen. Should there be any new information on this, you will of course find out from us at MeinMMO.
What is your experience with the map? Do you also have stops in your area where nothing spawns at all? And would you like a change in the nests? Feel free to share your opinion here on MeinMMO in the comments and discuss the topic with other trainers.
This makes it particularly uninteresting for him as a long-time player to explore PokéStops in the area. For this reason, he wishes that appropriate measures be taken by Niantic.

In Pokémon GO, trainers are encouraged to go outside and explore their surroundings. However, players criticize the outdated map and desire better incentives. We at MeinMMO show you what it’s all about.
What is the problem? Unlike most other games, Pokémon GO is designed for trainers to go outside and explore their surroundings. Niantic provides incentives through various PokéStops and Gyms that showcase interesting locations in the area. Furthermore, different spawns and bonuses aim to entice trainers outside.
However, this is not enough for all trainers. Especially long-time players quickly become bored with the content, as they have already caught most Pokémon in various forms and know most notable places in their area.
One factor contributing to this disinterest is an outdated map that trainers frequently criticize. Therefore, they are now demanding that Niantic make the necessary changes and also wish for better incentives in this regard.
Trainers demand an update of the map
What do the trainers specifically demand? As reddit user oroyplata notes in his post, Niantic has not updated the spawn points on the map for more than 3 years. As a result, areas that have since been developed are still marked as fields on the map, which also affects the spawns.
Where are the nests now? According to many players, the nests have become increasingly rare in recent years, leading them to suspect that this is related to the numerous events in the game that displace the nests. This is also confirmed by the experience of OrganicMasonJars:

What is your experience with the map? Do you also have stops in your area where nothing spawns at all? And would you like a change in the nests? Feel free to share your opinion here on MeinMMO in the comments and discuss the topic with other trainers.

‘You can do so much with nests’

This makes it particularly uninteresting for him as a long-time player to explore PokéStops in the area. For this reason, he wishes that appropriate measures be taken by Niantic.

The Overwatch League is the official eSports league by Blizzard for the team shooter. However, the place where the professionals compete against each other does not appear very professional to many.
What kind of tournament is this? The Overwatch League is a professional eSports league for the team shooter Overwatch. It regularly hosts matches where Overwatch professionals compete against each other.
Currently, the 2022 season is nearly halfway over, and for that reason, they have started the “Overwatch League Midseason Madness”. This includes not only a unique skin for the character Mercy, but also impressions of the tournament room.
However, this very room where the professionals are supposed to play against each other is criticized by many people. They claim that this place is anything but professional and resembles LAN parties from the last decade.
You can read about how Overwatch 2 plays and feels in the following preview report on MeinMMO:
Official setup for professional players looks like it’s from 2008
What is this really about? A professional Overwatch player named Poko posted a picture of the competition venue on Twitter and wrote: “Tomorrow is sure to be… Exciting?!!”. This led to many comments on the official setup. It is deemed inappropriate for professional gamers.

What exactly is being criticized? Many users criticize that the entire room for competitive gaming is simply unsuitable:
The teams’ tables are too close together. This way, you can surely hear everything that the opposing team discusses.
If you stretch your legs, you will hit the opponents on the other side.
The cable management is also receiving criticism. Because it seems there is none at all.
The rounded tabletop is found by many to be outdated as well.
Some cannot believe what they see. One person writes: “This is definitely not the current setup.”
Also, Soe Gschwind-Repp, known as Soembie, a prominent caster and analyst for the Overwatch League, criticizes the presented situation on Twitter. She writes on Twitter:
At this point, I am convinced that someone has actively tried to assemble a 2008 “LAN throwback setup”. How…?!
If I can either throw hands or play footsie with my opponent, I am simply too close.

Are there also positive voices? There are also people who do not see it all as dramatic. For example, the professionals are said to be allowed to use very good gaming headsets that provide reliable noise-canceling. This way, they should not be able to hear anything from the opposing teams.
Some doubt whether this setup will really be used in the tournament
How realistic is this situation? However, there are also indications that the setup will not be used in this condition. You can watch an official video from the Overwatch League on YouTube, and here you also get a brief glimpse of the setup. And here it looks different (via YouTube.com):
The tables have been moved further apart.
A fabric mat for better ergonomics has been added to the tables.
Additionally, the table tops in the video no longer look bent.
The cables have disappeared behind black tarps attached to the tables.
It is also noticeable when comparing the picture of the Overwatch player Poko with the YouTube video that many professionals use their own hardware and have it connected. This raises doubts about whether the professionals of the Overwatch League actually play at the shown setup, or whether Blizzard makes some adjustments before the matches.
This would at least explain the significant differences. Because most of the community’s criticisms are no longer found in the video.
In a YouTube video, the setup for the tournament looks quite different.
And if you’re wondering why there is only room for 5 people on both sides, then you have missed the most important change in Overwatch 2. The developers have reduced the team size in Overwatch to 5v5. This has a lasting effect on the entire gaming experience:
A new FIFA 23 trailer is now live and aims to prepare for the release of the last “typical” FIFA. We summarize all the important information.
When is FIFA 23 released? FIFA 23 will officially be released on September 30 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia. The Ultimate Edition will provide access starting September 27. EA Sports announced this officially with a new trailer.
The new trailer for FIFA 23 went live on July 20, 2022. It premiered on YouTube at 6:00 PM. The trailer features the first glimpse of the new FIFA 23:

FIFA 23: Official Reveal Trailer
In addition to the trailer, a series of information about the new game was released. Among other things, there are innovations such as crossplay, World Cup content, and clubs from women’s football. We have summarized the most important ones for you here:
This is already official: Even before the trailer went online today, the covers of the standard and ultimate edition of FIFA 23 were published. They not only feature the two cover stars Kylian Mbappé and Sam Kerr but also highlight “HyperMotion 2.”
How exactly the versions differ from each other has not been officially announced yet. It is possible that the trailer will provide clarification here as well.
Furthermore, it is already clear that FIFA 23 will be the last “FIFA” in collaboration between EA Sports and the football world federation FIFA. This year both will still jointly release the new game before continuing on separate paths next year. EA has already announced plans for a new game called “EA Sports FC,” which will bring many of the familiar contents of the FIFA series.
The FIFA organization also announced that they will continue to make football games – even with other developers.
In this context, it was emphasized that FIFA 23 should not only be the last, but also the largest FIFA to date. Promises include among other things:
More features
More game modes
World Cup content
More clubs
More leagues
More competitions
More players
Also, the already known modes such as Ultimate Team and others are expected to return in FIFA 23. We will hopefully learn about further innovations in the near future.

We will show you the most important innovations that were presented today.
FIFA 23 Crossplay: Who can play with whom?
This is what crossplay can do in FIFA 23: As EA announced, FIFA 23 will feature a crossplay component in 1-on-1 modes. So if you want to compete with your Ultimate Team against friends, that will be possible across platforms.
However, game modes beyond 1-on-1 seem to be excluded for now. This would affect Pro Clubs, for example.
Here you can see which modes are possible in crossplay
Additionally, there are different groups in crossplay that can play with each other.
The “OldGen” group can play with each other. This includes PS4 and Xbox One.
The NextGen group can also play among themselves. This includes PS5, Xbox Series X | S, Stadia, and this year also PC.
The PC catches up: The crossplay shows that the PC version of FIFA 23 will catch up to the same technical standard as the NextGen consoles after much criticism last year. In FIFA 22, PC players had to play a downgraded version.
With crossplay, expanded anti-cheat measures will also be implemented for the PC version. EA intends to provide more information in the future.
New transfer market: With crossplay, a change in the transfer market in Ultimate Team is also being made. Instead of each platform having its own market, it will now look like this:
The first transfer market will be shared by PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Stadia.
The second transfer market belongs to PC.
The third transfer market belongs to Nintendo Switch.
FIFA 23 will feature new content for two World Championships
The football World Championship is expected to play an important role in FIFA 23. However, it is a novelty that there are two World tournaments included in a FIFA game.
On one hand, there is the men’s World Championship, which will take place in winter 2022. This period after the release and around Christmas is traditionally when FIFA releases attract the most attention and when many people play.
We also know that the World Cup will play a role in Ultimate Team: There will officially be new “FIFA World Cup FUT Heroes” available, improved World Cup versions of the hero cards in Ultimate Team. In this context, EA introduced three new heroes on the official website:
The second World Championship is the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023, which will take place next year from July 20 to August 20 in Australia and New Zealand. It is fitting that Australian striker Sam Kerr is featured alongside Kylian Mbappé on the cover of FIFA 23.
Both tournaments are expected to receive substantial attention in FIFA 23 and will bring in new content as updates during the game. However, it is not yet clear in what form this will happen.
FIFA 23: New women’s clubs are joining
Several clubs are now represented – such as Man City
The fact that women will play a larger role in FIFA 23 is not only indicated by Sam Kerr on the cover: Several clubs from women’s football will be included in FIFA 23.
Previously, players could only use women in national teams or create their own female avatar in modes like Volta. With club football, another component is being added.
What is HyperMotion? The term “HyperMotion” is already known by players from FIFA 22. Here, real players were put into performance suits to compete against each other. From this data, numerous animations were created that were intended to provide a more realistic gameplay experience in FIFA 22.
HyperMotion 2 is likely to be an expansion of this system, bringing more animations and elements to the game to make it even more realistic and varied.
However, there is a catch: This feature will again only be available for the NextGen version – not on PS4 or Xbox One.
Imane “Pokimane” Anys is one of the biggest streamers on Twitch and showcases games like Valorant there. As one of the few women at the top of Twitch, she frequently faces harassment. She is now taking a break from Twitch.
Who is Pokimane?
With over 9 million followers, she ranks 9th among the largest channels on Twitch
Over 17,000 viewers watch her on average when she plays games like Valorant
She announced on Twitter that she would be taking a break from Twitch
As a variety streamer, Pokimane spends a lot of time in the “Just Chatting” category on Twitch, but she also enjoys playing the tactical shooter Valorant.

She wants to focus on her life offline
Pokimane is currently very busy. She just returned from Amsterdam after attending TwitchCon EU following her trip to Korea. On July 19, 2022, she announced on Twitter that she wanted to take a break. When she will return remains open.
In her brief post, she hinted at feeling the need for a “mental reset” for a while. She also wants to focus on herself and her life outside of the internet.
In my opinion, breaks are essential for health and the longevity of a career.
Pokimane thinks long-term and career-oriented. It seems she needs the break now to be able to perform better in the long run. This way, she wants to ensure she can stay professionally successful for a long time without risking burnout.
She also took the opportunity to thank her fans for their support over the past years. Thanks to her supporters, she can afford to take such a break. She is very grateful for that.
Additionally, Pokimane announced that she does not want to stop streaming forever. She looks forward to coming back refreshed and being able to provide content for her fans. When exactly that will be is still unknown.
This is also not the first time Pokimane has taken a break like this. She already stepped back for nearly a month in 2021, interrupted by a spontaneous stream of Among Us. (via dexerto)
What is Pokimane doing now? On Twitter, Pokimane received a lot of positive reactions. Many fans wish her to enjoy her break and urge her to take care of herself.
When asked by a Twitter user if they could play Valorant together now, Pokimane responded with a clear “YES!” Her enthusiasm for gaming certainly hasn’t faded, even if she won’t be seen streaming for a while. (via Twitter)
Additionally, she mentioned that she would love to travel to Canada and made travel plans in the comments with her streaming colleague and “good friend” AriaSaki. (via Twitter)
So boredom is unlikely to be an issue. Whether Pokimane will really be seen in Canada soon remains to be seen.
Without Pokimane, Twitch is missing an important streamer. Moreover, many stars are increasingly switching to the competition of YouTube Gaming. A similar endeavor was also undertaken by Microsoft with its streaming platform Mixer, but failed. MeinMMO tells you what YouTube does better in this regard.

Microsoft has introduced: You can use Discord on your Xbox. MeinMMO explains what you need to know.
Discord is one of the most popular programs for conversations and voice chat. Although Discord can already be used on PS4 and PS5, the most important feature of Discord is missing on PS4 and PS5. On Xbox, you can now also use Discord voice chat, but the way there is a bit more complicated.
We explain what you need to consider and when you can install Discord on your Xbox Series X or Xbox One.
Discord on Xbox is available first for insiders and beta testers
How to get the update? The update will roll out starting today, July 20, 2022, for Xbox Insiders and will be available to everyone later. Depending on how well the update works, the official update will then also be pushed to all other users on their Xbox.
How to activate Discord on Xbox? Those who are already Xbox Insiders can open the guide with the Xbox button. Here, they select ‘Parties and Chats’ and go to ‘Try Discord Voice on Xbox.’
Here you will see an option to scan a QR code. The QR code will lead you to the Discord and Xbox apps to establish a connection between your Discord account and the Xbox. If you have already linked your Discord account with your Xbox, you will need to re-establish the link.
Once you have linked your accounts, a new option to join on Xbox will appear in the mobile Discord app. Now you just need the Xbox app to transfer the voice chat from your Discord account to the Xbox.
Once you have installed the app, you can connect the Discord voice chat with the Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One console.
The community is excited about the announced update
These are the reactions: Under the official tweet from Xbox, many gamers express their enthusiasm for the announcement. For many, this is a step in the right direction, as one of the most important tools for gamers can finally be used on Xbox.

League of Legends has a special interaction when it comes to buying items. When items have special effects, they are activated in the order they were purchased. Therefore, if you want to maximize your potential, you need to consider this factor or apply a trick.
What is the issue with the items? Some items in LoL have special effects that can cause additional damage or convert dealt damage into healing. And this is where it gets a bit complicated, because these effects activate in the order you bought the items:
If you buy the Blade of the Ruined King first, the special effect “Basic attacks deal 8% of the target’s current health as bonus physical damage” activates first. Since this effect is based on the target’s current health, it makes sense.
However, if you buy other items first, those effects activate first. For instance, Edge of Infinity deals an additional 15-80 damage, depending on your level. However, this effect reduces the percentage health of the opponent beforehand, thus diminishing the effect of the Blade of the Ruined King.
Per hit, the difference is small, but with each attack, you lose some damage, which adds up in the end.
Therefore, it is crucial to buy items in the correct order. The rule is: percentage damage should activate first.

You can bypass the issue with the buyback trick
What can you do if you got the order wrong? There is a simple trick: You return to base, sell your items, and then buy them back. It is important that you sell the item last that you want to get back first.
In concrete terms, this means:
You built Edge of Infinity first and then the Blade of the Ruined King.
You sell Edge of Infinity first.
Then you sell the Blade of the Ruined King.
Then you hit “Undo”.
Now you have – from the game’s perspective – bought the Blade of the Ruined King first and then Edge of Infinity.
By the way, it’s not enough to just change the order in your inventory. You actually need to sell and buy back the items. Make sure you don’t leave the base during this, or else you cannot perform a buyback anymore.
You can use the Oracle Lens item to disable enemy wards and instead of destroying them, simply walk through them and come unseen through a bush onto the lane.
This list could certainly be expanded by dozens of tricks.
Did you already know that the order of the items plays such a significant role? Did you know the other tricks? Do you have any tricks you want to share with other players?
By the way, in LoL, Tahm Kench and Seraphine currently dominate the win rate. However, that is due to a completely different champion:
A professional player of Counterstrike: Global Offensive died in 2019 at the age of 19. A labor court in Brazil has now ruled that his last CS:GO team bears partial responsibility for his death and must pay €72,000 to the family of the deceased. The player had complained of headaches and vision loss after moving into the team’s gaming house.
Who was the young man?
The player’s name was Matheus “BruttJ” Queiroz. In 2019, he was just starting to make a name for himself in CS:GO as an AWP player/Rifler.
He won the “Up Expo Game” tournament with the Reapers team in July 2019 and earned a reputation in the Brazilian league at that time. At the end of 2019, the professional team “Imperial” took notice of him and signed the young man. In November 2019, he moved into their gaming house in Sao Paulo.
But before the career started, it ended tragically.

What was known about the player’s death: In December 2019, the Imperial team announced that their player Matheus Queiroz had left the team and had since passed away: He had suffered from headaches and decided to leave the team in Sao Paulo and return to his family in Rio de Janeiro.
He died in a clinic in Rio de Janeiro.
He had only played for Imperial for two months; his performance with the Reapers had attracted “everyone’s attention”.
Everyone was deeply saddened by the loss (via twitlonger).

The young man’s condition worsened when he moved into the gaming house
After the player’s death, a teammate from his former team stated that he had already suffered from “severe headaches, constant vomiting, and loss of vision” while he was with the Reapers. This apparently began when he moved into the “Team Reaper” house in August 2019.
Other players in the house also complained of ailments. It was suspected that it might have been due to the water or the food there.
In the new gaming house with Imperial, it reportedly got even worse, said the mother of the deceased: He suffered from insomnia because the house was too close to an airport. Also, there was not enough food.
After the player’s death, his parents sued both eSports organizations (via dexerto).
The cause of death is believed to be an “unspecified infection of the central nervous system”.

The parents filed a lawsuit and made accusations against the teams.
Judge rules: Team neglected duty of care
This is now the verdict: Three years after the player’s death, a Brazilian judge, Patricia Almedia Ramos, ruled that the team had “indirectly” contributed to the player’s death by failing to fulfill their legal and contractual obligations.
The judge argued that the eSports club Imperial did not make sufficient efforts to create a “safe and healthy working environment” and did not provide enough support as the player’s health deteriorated.
It was noted: During his short time in the team’s gaming house, he was hospitalized several times, but the doctors could not make a diagnosis.
According to the judge, the player was in the care of the eSports organization when he moved into the gaming house: from then on, there was no separation between professional and private life.
The structure of the gaming house leaves much to be desired, to the point that the athlete could neither sleep nor eat healthily. It is obvious that his condition could not improve in such an environment. This was apparent to anyone who met him. This is evidenced by the three or four hospital stays in a very short period.
What is the verdict? The judge acknowledges that it is unknown whether the player would still be alive if the team had fulfilled its duty of care. However, it cannot be assumed that his death was unavoidable.
The court has ordered the team to pay about $72,000 to the family.
A “gaming house” is a place where the members of an eSports team live and train together for months. Often, young men live there together who are away from home for the first time. Coaches and supervisors usually take on a supervisory role. Depending on the team’s budget, a gaming house can look like a luxury villa, a youth hostel, or worse.
Team plans to appeal, sees no responsibility on their part
How do the teams respond? The Reapers team denied the allegations in 2020. They stated that while he was still living in their gaming house, the player showed no symptoms.
Also, the Imperial team denied the accusations: They claimed that the circumstances in the house could not have contributed to the player’s death, as he had only been there for a few days.
After Imperial was now convicted, their lawyer announced plans to appeal. They stated that they had fulfilled their obligations and even offered support to the family. The player had only been with the team for about 40 days – so it is therefore unreasonable to assume that the company is responsible for his illness and death.

The feature is designed so that you can fully focus on one character and do not have to play secondary characters. You remain a member of your clan and your group and keep all your possessions.
How to switch your class: To switch your class, you simply need to visit the Wandering Flames in the Westmark. They are located in Selynnas Basilica, the cathedral in the east:

Diablo Immortal: So wechselt ihr die Klasse
Interact with the flames and choose the option “Class Switch”. However, your character must have reached level 35 to do this. When selecting a new class, you can completely customize your appearance.
The class switch is limited to once per week and there are no further switches outside of this cooldown period. The cooldown begins after the switch. There should also be no way to purchase switches in the shop – so choose wisely.
If you are not sure which class you should try, you can find the strongest classes in our tier list for Diablo Immortal. In the video, we show you gameplay for all classes in the game:

New Legendaries in the Update, Classes Coming Later
Along with the class switching feature, 36 new Legendaries were introduced to the game, 6 for each class. If you do not like the new options for your character, you can switch easily now. The list of all new Legendaries can be found on the official website.
A new class is currently not in the game, but we know from an interview with Game Director Wyatt Cheng that new classes will come in the future. The new classes will be free content for all players.
The new update, however, brings a ton of changes that make the Pay2Win factor for Free2Play players significantly less severe. One reason why even critics are praising the patch:
According to this, Niantic is currently trying to find a balance between global events and on-site events. When the next large live event will take place in Germany and whether it will also be made available in a hybrid form remains to be seen for now.
How do you like the prospects for future live events? Would you participate in one if it were held in Germany again? And which cities do you prefer for such an event? Feel free to share your opinion here on MeinMMO in the comments and exchange ideas with other trainers.
Pokémon GO is currently hosting a series of live events, such as the upcoming GO Fest in Seattle. We at MeinMMO spoke with Niantic and asked if there will be more such events soon and if they are planned for Germany as well. We will show you all the answers.
What kind of events are they? While Pokémon GO regularly features thematic events that you can participate in from anywhere in the world, Niantic has finally brought back live events this year.
For example, Pokémon GO hosted a huge GO Fest in Berlin on the first weekend of July. Participating trainers had the opportunity to meet like-minded people and collectively caught a total of 14,000,000 Pokémon and traveled 303,000 kilometers (via pokemongolive.com).
But what about future live events? What is planned? And can German players look forward to another such event? We wanted to know this in an interview with Niantic and asked Philip Marz, Head of Regional Marketing Pokémon GO (EMEA), about the GO Fest in Berlin.
Is Niantic planning more live events in Pokémon GO soon?
After Pokémon GO had to restrict the execution of events in person due to the pandemic in the last two years, a large live event took place in Germany with the GO Fest in Berlin for the first time in a long time.
Countless trainers seized this chance and traveled to Britzer Garten to play together and enjoy the unique atmosphere. And even though the next live event in Seattle is already on the horizon, we wanted to know whether more future live events are planned, especially in Germany.
Are more live events planned? In the interview, Philip Marz told us that events are part of Niantic’s core principles, which are based on their three pillars: movement, discovery, and interaction in the real world. Therefore, live events will continue to be an integral part of Pokémon GO in the future.
Niantic is focused on providing the community with a wide range of offerings where trainers can meet and play together. Marz specifically told us:
Events are at the core of Niantic’s mission, which is based on three principles: movement, discovery, and interaction in the real world. And of course, there is nothing better than providing a guided framework for this through the events we create, regardless of how large they ultimately may be, and making them accessible to the community as broadly as possible.
Philip Marz
Will there be new formats? In Pokémon GO, there are now several forms of live events. In March, MeetUps for Community Days were introduced. These offer trainers a smaller frame than, for example, the GO Fest, but still invite them to play together.
According to Marz, these events will also be maintained in the future. For example, there will be another GO Fest in 2023. Additionally, Niantic is working on new event formats, such as the GO Tour, which is also set to have live events. However, when and where these will take place, Marz unfortunately could not yet tell us in the interview.
This can obviously vary greatly and pursue different scales, such as the GO Fest. This is naturally the most exclusive event format, which we consciously reduce to once a year, and we can already look forward to it happening again next year.
Likewise, we are working on other event formats, such as the GO Tour on a global level, essentially. The venues have not yet been defined, but we are also trying to regularly create opportunities for the community to act according to these three principles.
And recently, of course, we introduced the Community Days, where we also created a smaller platform, whether it was in the real world or via virtual activation. Just to say ‘Hey, if you want to meet like-minded individuals, then here’s the ideal place’. And this is certainly something we will also emphasize in the coming months.
Philip Marz
Will there also be live events in Germany again?
Yes, according to Marz, Germany is an “extremely important market” for Niantic; therefore, there will be more live events here in the future. However, the size of the events will vary, meaning large events like the GO Fest will remain exclusive and limited to once a year. However, he could not yet tell us when the next live event in Germany will take place.
Germany is fundamentally an extremely important market for us and also a large market. This means it will always be our endeavor to regularly provide a foundation where the community can come together, exchange ideas, and enjoy a shared gaming experience.
Philip Marz
Which German cities would be possible? After we were given hope for more live events in Germany, we wanted to know a bit more precisely which cities are even being considered.
However, according to Marz, that is not so easy to say. Large events, like the GO Fest in Berlin, obviously require a large area.
Thus, the venue must not only be large enough but also meet various other criteria, such as sufficient accommodation options, potential for discoveries, and good accessibility. This limits the selection of cities in Germany. He said:
There are certainly cities that one always has an eye on. If you were to ask me personally, in the end, it’s always the top five because we are also trying to utilize the radiance effect of these cities a bit. Berlin stands for itself, of course, as the capital with a very high global radiance due to its uniqueness.
Otherwise, there are certainly other cities like Munich, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, which basically outline the framework of the area we are searching in. Of course, it is very important for the live events we implement that they are accessible, that they offer options for tens of thousands of players to stay overnight at the same location, that the cities also provide sufficient potential for discoveries, which ties back to our principles.
This means that there are certainly a few new cities we are looking at, but also familiar ones because our focus is primarily driven by the location where we ultimately want to implement this. We are quite limited in that respect. And there are only a few great parks, like Britzer Garten or Westfalen Park, that can meet all our requirements and are also available at the time we need them.
However, I can fundamentally say that we can definitely look forward to something like this happening again. And I am sure that we will also create great and special experiences for the community in Germany in the future. Where exactly this will be, I cannot reveal at this point in time, nor can I provide details, but this is definitely what we are aiming for.
Philip Marz
Marz himself favors the big five: Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, and Hamburg. However, he did not want to reveal exactly where it could go in the interview. According to his statements, German trainers can still look forward to great experiences in the future.
In recent months, Niantic has primarily focused on so-called hybrid events. A good example of this is the Community Days. Since March, trainers have been able to play the event from home or any other location without disadvantages, but they can also meet at so-called MeetUps with like-minded individuals.
Since Niantic, according to Marz, now wants to focus more on live events again in the future, we wanted to ask him what the status of hybrid events is.
Will they remain? As Marz explained to us in the interview, Niantic understood during the pandemic that trainers want events where everyone can participate, even if they do not want or cannot travel to another place. Thus, hybrid formats will continue to exist in the future.
However, Niantic finds it very important to bring the community together in person, which is why they will continue to prioritize live events. He specifically said:
The GO Fest this year is a series of events consisting of five parts, where we embrace three live events with two global events, so to speak. To meet the requirement that we can serve both the global community that may not be able to travel, choose not to travel, or have no opportunity to participate in these events on-site. This is something we have truly seen, understood, and learned during the pandemic and are very, very eager to adapt, that we can say ‘Okay, everyone can participate.’
But at the same time, it is extremely important to us because Pokémon GO was made for this, that you can have this amazing and unique experience together on-site, just like we experienced it in Britzer Garten, which is why we define the selected locations in different regions, to offer community-specific and regionally relevant events or live events that can be visited with conditional effort. We have definitely found that the mix works.
Similar is the case with Community Day activities on another level. But this is certainly also something that, when it comes to accessibility and inclusivity, is necessary to allow many to participate, regardless of whether one is on-site. That is definitely a consideration for our future planning.
While the focus remains on doing it together and not sitting at home alone on the couch. Therefore, this will often be prioritized by the framework conditions and perhaps made a bit more attractive than other things.
When we think in terms of Community Day, the GO Fest is, of course, quite different; the differences are substantial, both in terms of physical setups and also a bit in the things that can be experienced in the habitats, because we need to strike the right balance there. But it is definitely part of our planning.
Philip Marz
According to this, Niantic is currently trying to find a balance between global events and on-site events. When the next large live event will take place in Germany and whether it will also be made available in a hybrid form remains to be seen for now.
How do you like the prospects for future live events? Would you participate in one if it were held in Germany again? And which cities do you prefer for such an event? Feel free to share your opinion here on MeinMMO in the comments and exchange ideas with other trainers.
BioWare attempted to connect with games like Anthem. However, Anthem was only moderately successful. Now, it is even being sold for 1 penny, about one cent, in a GameStop store. A Reddit user took advantage of this and bought 37 copies.
What kind of game is Anthem? After Destiny had great success since its release in 2014, BioWare tried to create a similar game.
Anthem was released in 2019 and is a loot shooter in a sci-fi style. The player takes on the role of a “Javelin” and wears a combat suit. Through the suit, the player has extraordinary powers and rushes into battle against enemies.
However, Anthem did not reach the successes of Destiny 2. The PS4 version of the game received a user score of only 3.5 on Metacritic (it goes up to 10). 918 of the total 1401 reviews were negative (as of July 20, 2022, via Metacritic).
Here you see a trailer which reminded us of Anthem:

Reddit user buys 37 copies of Anthem for less than 50 cents
How do players react to the bargain price of Anthem? On Reddit, user Spider-Man_Fan_123 proudly posted a photo of his 37 copies of Anthem and the receipt. Under the title: “Anthem is now a bargain at GameStop,” he writes:
“I was at GameStop last Sunday and saw that they are selling this game for just one cent. After taxes, I got all of this for less than 50 cents. I don’t know how long this sale will last.”

The receipt shows that including taxes he paid only about 40 cents. He saved 216 euros on the purchase (via reddit.com).
GameStop is clearing out games that are no longer worth shelf space
Why was the game sold so cheaply? The TikToker clocklava showed in her video a copy of Anthem that was also available for one penny at GameStop.
An employee of the store explained why the game was so cheap: Once games sell poorly, they are either removed from the inventory or offered to customers at bargain prices (via TikTok).
What does another employee say? Reddit user n080dy123, who claims to work at GameStop, suspects the following: “It’s not a clearance sale. GameStop is just trying to get the game out of stores before the server shutdown date is announced and the discs become worthless. It will never be sold at full price again.”
What is the validity of this assumption? So far, BioWare has made no official announcement regarding a server shutdown. User n080dy123 also clarifies in another post that this is pure speculation and he does not know the exact reason.
How much does Anthem cost at GameStop in Germany? In the online shop of GameStop, Anthem is available in new condition for between 14.99 and 15.99 euros depending on the platform. Used copies can be obtained for already 4.99 euros for Xbox One and PS4 (as of July 20, 2022, via gamestop.de).
What do you think about Anthem being sold for 1 cent? Feel free to let us know in the comments.
In Diablo Immortal, you don’t commit to a class as is often the case in MMOs. You will simply be able to switch classes. However, there are a few things to consider. MeinMMO explains the feature to you.
What kind of feature is this? The feature is quite simple: if you don’t like your current class, you just play another one. You won’t lose any progress in the campaign or any levels; you can simply continue where you left off. Just with a different class.
When can I switch classes? Since the Update 1.5.2 on July 20, the class change is officially available.
How can I switch classes? You can simply switch your class at the Wandering Flames in Selynn’s Basilica in the Western Mark. In the video, we show you how the switch works:

Switching classes in Diablo Immortal – What you need to consider
Can I switch classes at any time?
No, there is a cooldown period of 7 days. This starts from the day of the last switch. However, you can switch back to your old class once, regardless of the cooldown.
Does it cost me anything to switch classes?
No, switching classes is free of charge. You also cannot buy additional class switches in the shop.
Will I keep all my progress?
For the most part, yes. Levels, Paragon, and legendary gems will be transferred. Equipment will not. You will receive a starter set for the new class, but armor and weapons are usually class-specific; you will need to farm them again. Details will follow.
What happens to my Paragon?
After the first switch to a new class, all Paragon points are refunded and you can spend them again.
What happens to my clan?
You remain a member of your clan and your group. The battlefield ranking will also be transferred. Only the placement of the challenge portal leaderboard will be lost, but not your progress.
Will cosmetics be carried over?
You can no longer equip “some class-specific cosmetic items”. Which exactly those are will not be specified further. If you switch to a class for the first time, you can fully customize your appearance.
If you’re still unsure which class you want to try out, you can find the best classes in our tier list for Diablo Immortal. We’ve embedded gameplay for all classes here for you:

Diablo Immortal: All 6 Classes in Brief Overview with Gameplay
Content such as the class change, the shop, and other features are under constant observation. The developers have already informed us that Diablo Immortal is continuously being developed as a living game based on player feedback. So there may be some changes in the future.
We spoke with Game Director Wyatt Cheng and Executive Producer Peiwen Yao before the release about how Diablo Immortal will continue after release:
On July 14, the MMORPG Chimeraland was released on Steam. This especially attracted attention with its crazy character editor. Almost a week after the release, the reviews are mixed, with some praising the game for its crazy and sometimes somewhat cheap presentation.
Apart from this editor, the game offers some typical MMORPG elements combined with survival:
There is no class system. Armor and weapons determine your playstyle.
You follow a story that is told through the main quest.
There is an open world with multiple continents without loading screens, full of different animal species.
You can tame these animals and cross them to create new monsters.
There are collecting and crafting systems, through which you can level up actively, just like in New World.
You can build in the open world and create your own hideout.
In general, it’s all about exploring the world and having fun. If you want, you can also engage in PvP in certain zones.
Chimeraland is free-to-play and is available on PC, as well as on Android and iOS. The game is financed through a real-money shop with cosmetic items, XP buffs, chests with materials, and automatic completions of daily quests, as well as an additional purchasable Battle Pass.
However, you don’t need these things if you just want to cause mischief in the open world.

Praise for the animal beings, trashy and quirky content
How is the game received after the release? Reactions to Chimeraland are very mixed. The 601 reviews on Steam (as of July 20) are 59% positive. However, some players are not even sure why they are playing the MMORPG at all.
The user Lennox writes after 70 hours of gameplay:
The game has no reason to be so entertaining. It is a mobile port and pretty nonsense. And the cash shop can be a problem, especially if you want to min-max. Disadvantages also include the controls, which remind me of mobile ports, and it has the longest tutorial in the world (please skip it).
But on the pro side, there are pets. You can use them as mounts, employ them in combat, and they have a cosmetic role. The questing is also simple and rewarding. The combat is fun, the world is huge, and the base/clan-building is deep.
With so few downsides, I don’t understand why people give such mixed reviews. It is really easy to pick up and put down. It’s fun to explore openly and just make your own adventures, progress, and decisions for the day. And I hope it gets even better. I’m literally addicted.
Many other positive reviews also highlight the brief fun the game generates, especially due to its quirky elements:
SxvenSouls: “I mean, I have no idea what I’m doing, but I’m enjoying it.”
XipherZen: “Like most, I was damn skeptical when I snagged this free product from the Steam shelf. But I have to say that this game, as bizarre as it is, and despite the many bugs it has, is great.”
slowz2secret writes on reddit: “What makes the game so fun is the trashiness. It’s a mess of everything you can imagine. The beta was already a lot of fun to play, and I have seen the strangest creations of anything you can imagine. I will play it again for fun.”
Many reviews emphasize that Chimeraland cannot replace a full-fledged AAA MMORPG, but it can be quite entertaining for at least a few dozen hours. We also had surprisingly a lot of fun while playing, despite lags and other issues due to the Asian servers:

What are the negative voices saying? The biggest criticism of Chimeraland is currently its performance. It is said to be generally problematic, but particularly on Steam. If you want to have a good experience with the MMORPG, you should switch to the normal client. You can download it from the official website (via Chimeraland).
Additionally, bugs, the bad UI, and the controls are criticized. The controls while flying and some issues in combat are also mentioned. In terms of technical aspects, Chimeraland has several problems.
The user vibing writes:
One of the strangest, most confusing, and broken experiences one can have in an MMORPG. Nothing really makes sense and a lot is thrown at you in the first 5 minutes of the game. The saving grace is the grotesqueries you can create in the character editor, but the gameplay is at best mediocre.
However, some negative reviews see the potential that Chimeraland could be at least entertaining for a short time without technical issues, with a better tutorial and a revision of the controls.
Developers are committed and in close communication
How was the development of the game? Chimeraland is developed by the indie studio Pixel Soft. They have left a very positive impression in their communication with their community:
The community team is very active on Discord.
They regularly post small clips and videos about their game.
They regularly host events, both in-game and in the form of screenshot contests. They also activated special Twitch drops until July 31.
Currently, there is another screenshot contest focused on the characters players have created:

In Destiny 2 the Solstice event 2022 has started. Bungie has created a new and important material that you need to upgrade your event armor. Therefore, we show you how to quickly and effectively obtain the new Silver Branches, which you also need for all other materials.
However, not every player has the time to struggle through ten-minute strikes just to get this precious resource. Therefore, we have found an easy method for you to efficiently obtain Silver Branches without wasting unnecessary time.
How to effectively farm Silver Branches
Which activity is suitable for farming? As xHOUNDISHx pointed out in his video, all activities that Bungie has integrated into Destiny 2 are valid for farming. This includes the patrol events in the various destinations.
This means you don’t have to force yourself into tedious activities like the Vanguard Strikes or the Crucible but can casually jump into any public event and enjoy 2-3 branches after completion. Just make sure that you trigger heroic events since these give you more branches. Also, remember that you must wear the event armor to receive branches; without it, you won’t get any.
If you don’t know how to trigger a specific event heroically, just refer to this article to see how it is done:
Which destination is the best? The EDZ on Earth is the best choice. The size of the map ensures that many events start one after the other, giving you the opportunity to complete them one by one.
The blue cars with the white flowers indicate the events
The EDZ also offers easier events that are less time-consuming, allowing you to gather a variety of resources in just a few minutes. Additionally, the landing zones are positioned so that you will spawn close to most events.
Are there other methods as well? You can also tackle Strikes, Gambit, or the Crucible to obtain your branches. However, these methods are more time-consuming, as a round definitely takes longer than quickly jumping from event to event. You alone decide what suits you better and what is more fun.
What do you think of this method? Do you perhaps have a better one? Then feel free to let the community and us know in the comments how you obtain your branches.

On July 17, 2022, the streamer Arab posted a clip from TwitchCon, where a cosplayer reported that an employee had broken her sword. The clip quickly went viral, but many discovered inconsistencies in the story. Now the affected person has spoken out.
The background of the story:
Arab reported to his followers live from TwitchCon EU when he recognized the German streamer Nikachu, with whom he had spoken the day before
Why would someone do something like this? Anyone who has dealt with cosplay knows how much work and heart go into such a costume. Accordingly, many were shocked by the seemingly deliberate destruction.
But doubts about the story quickly arose. The cosplayer’s calm reaction was not believable, and there was no trace of the mentioned anger and sadness in the video.
Moreover, some found it hard to believe that an employee would destroy a guest’s property without reason and thereby risk their job. After all, Arab himself had expressed during the stream that those responsible should be fired.
When users also pointed out apparent contradictions in the cosplayer’s statements, doubts increased, prompting the affected person to clarify.
This is how the streamer reacts
In response to the viral clip, Nikachu started a stream on July 18, 2022, where viewers were to learn the whole story. This was later supplemented by a post on Instagram.
This is Nikachu’s version of the incident
What kind of sword is that? The sword is actually just a wooden sword sheath. Attached to it was a sword handle made from a 3D printer. Thus, Nikachu was able to bypass the weapon ban at TwitchCon for her Ciri cosplay.
This sword was approved and inspected by security at the entrance. The employees also tested it. So the handle couldn’t have come off that easily.
How was it broken? When the streamer wanted to fill her water bottle in the toilet, another part of the costume caused her problems: The sensors of the faucets did not respond due to her leather gloves.
She then set the sword down to ask another woman for help. Meanwhile, two cleaning staff also entered the washroom, but she did not pay them any further attention.
When she glanced in the mirror while filling her bottle, she saw the employees handling her sword. She then shouted to them that it was her sword and to stop.
Nikachu is not yet among the most successful streamers, but those who are can be seen in our video:
Start video
Twitch: Who were actually the first successful streamers?
Although the employees quickly left the room, it was already too late. The cosplayer found her sword in two pieces and could not catch up with the culprits due to her costume.
She immediately informed security afterward. The relevant employees were identified, but they only half-heartedly apologized and claimed that the sword had already been broken.
She just wanted to vent her feelings
The streamer reacts emotionally: This made her angry and disappointed, as she had hoped for an apology and an admission of guilt. In the stream, she also mentioned that she hopes the responsible employee will keep his hands off other people’s things in the future.
When she was recognized by Arab the next day and approached again, she had no idea how many people would see the stream. She watched the video on the way home on the train and could hardly believe it. (via Twitch)
What is controversial? One of the most common criticisms of Nikachu’s initial depiction was the term “staff member” she used. This simply means “Mitarbeiter” in German, but suggested to many that it was directly an employee of Twitch.
However, it was supposed to be just a misunderstanding. The streamer says she simply does not speak English well and was also quite nervous.
However, during the conversation with Arab, the impression also arose that the sword was deliberately destroyed. When asked whether it was an accident, she replied, “No – I said ‘Stop, that’s not yours!’ and then […]” and imitated the motion with which the sword was broken.
Whether this explanation is enough to assuage the growing skepticism of viewers will remain to be seen.
What do you think of the whole story? Who do you believe? Feel free to let us know in the comments here on MeinMMO.
The weekly update in Lost Ark is today, July 20th, in the light of the major July patch. In the monthly content updates, plenty of new content awaits you. Even in July, the developers do not hold back and implement many changes. We at MeinMMO summarize.
Update 12:54 PM: The servers are back online on time, and you can start your journey to Arkesia with the Arcanist. Good luck!
What’s coming in the new update? The weekly update on July 20th is this week’s major July patch. Accordingly, there are several changes on the agenda, and completely new content is coming to the MMORPG.
Among them the new class of the Arcanist and many suitable facilitations in the game’s progression that make it easier for you to catapult your new character into the endgame as quickly as possible. Because in Tier 1 and Tier 2, you now have a one hundred percent chance that your upgrades will succeed. This means not only less stress but also significantly less resource grinding.
Additionally, the following highlights await you:
Valtan at a new difficulty level
Abyssal Dungeon event
The new Water Bomb Arena event
New skins
Bug fixes
“Quality of Life” improvements
A new express event designed to help you upgrade your gear
New challenges that will replace the welcome challenges
Lost Ark for “Spells in Spades” today, July 20th, 4 hours offline
How long is the server status offline? The update begins as usual at 9:00 AM our time. At that time, the game servers go offline and are expected to remain down for approximately 4 hours this week. If everything goes according to plan, you can start upgrading again at 1:00 PM.
We will keep you updated in this article regarding when the servers will be back online and when you can continue playing.
Additionally, you should expect a larger update on Steam and anticipate considerable download size, after all, there is a lot of new content.
What does the community say? The initial reactions under the Twitter post of Lost Ark are very positive. People are extremely excited about the updates and practically overwhelm each other with compliments. The comments range from “great patch notes” to “This is exactly what I call a good update”.
The mood seems to be saved for now, though it has already improved recently. Especially the change that Power Passes can now be bought and that it is easier to reach Gearscore 1,370 is very well received.
This makes it easier for fans to get new characters into the endgame and to switch their class or push their main character by farming materials with them.
What do you think of the update? Are you looking forward to experiencing July? Or are you more annoyed that you can now get to the endgame faster? What do you think of the new skins and the hell mode for Valtan? Feel free to let us know in the comments here on MeinMMO.
Lost Ark significantly changes how you can progress in the game with the July update. A lot of grind will be eliminated, which helps not only new players but also so-called “Alt-Chars.” We at MeinMMO summarize.
What has changed? The big July update arrived on July 20 in our version of Lost Ark and brings many changes and new content. One of the highlights of the update is clearly the change to the upgrade mechanics.
In Lost Ark, the various endgame stages are divided into so-called tiers. Currently, there are three tiers in the game, with the last one, Tier 3, being perceived as the true endgame. It starts from a gear score of 1,302.
To help you reach there faster, there have been fundamental changes to how you tackle Tier 1 and 2, with significantly less grind and no luck at all. The chance of successfully upgrading your equipment in Tier 1 and 2 is now a solid 100%. The costs for the upgrade itself have also been significantly reduced.
Changes also in Tier 3: But not only through Tier 1 and 2 do you now progress faster and cheaper, the further ascent to Tier 3 has been made easier. While there is no 100% upgrade chance here, there is at least a bonus of 20%. The required materials have also been reduced, allowing you to reach at least gear score 1,370 faster and face Argos. You can read more about the details of the changes on playlost.com.
Then it will not be far away from facing Demoness Vykas:
Start video
The legions raids are the most difficult fights in Lost Ark – See the frightening attacks of the demon Vykas
Because in addition to the easements in upgrading, you can now also simply buy the coveted power passes directly and thus catapult yourself into the endgame with real money. Unlike before, you do not have to have completed the desired story with another character to use the passes.
Additionally, Community Manager Roxx stated in the forum that they also want to promote “Alt-Chars,” since we use them the least in the West compared to other versions. Alt-Chars are alternative characters that you play alongside to support your main character.
These characters now reach an area where they are truly useful for you much faster when you are already in the endgame. Therefore, both active endgame players and newcomers and returners benefit from the changes.
As the first Legion Raid, Valtan awaits
Can you now directly access the best content? No, it isn’t that easy. The first Legion Raid, Valtan, requires a gear score of 1,415 from you. To go from 1,302 to 1,415, a bit of grind remains to be done.
Many see the grind as necessary so you can truly understand the class you are playing. Because in the Legion Raids, the strongest bosses in Lost Ark await you and demand a lot from you. However, the path you have to take until then is now much shorter and easier than before.
The community finds the update good – actually
How is the change received? Most fans have mixed feelings about the update. Basically, the changes are well received and people are happy that they no longer have to upgrade their new characters for so long. Most users are also pleased with the possibility of buying directly into the endgame.
Negative sentiment arises only among those who have already invested a lot of time and materials to get several characters that far. Many fans complain here and say that there should at least be some compensation, especially for materials that they only recently used.
Overall, the sentiment is positive, and once the shock over the materials already spent passes, the update should go over well with most users.
What do the players say? We would like to share some quotes with you at this point so that you can form your own opinion about the sentiment. They come from a reddit thread about the changes.
careslol writes: “I’m really annoyed somehow. Just pushed 2 Alt-Chars from 1,340 to 1,370 this week. It would have been really nice to keep the materials and the money.”
OK_Opinions writes: “That means you can have a full roster of characters at 1,370 for a fraction of the previous costs. Sure, some people already have that, but most don’t.”
ShadyShing keeps it short: “Finally! Jesus Christ, finally!”
knc is more sarcastic: “I wonder what people have to complain about now.”
DroidApple says: “I stopped playing the game because upgrading just wasn’t fun. Great to see I have a reason to come back now.”
What do you personally think of the update? Are you more annoyed that you wasted materials? Or are you happy that it will be easier to really access the endgame in the future? Feel free to let us know in the comments here on MeinMMO.
The YouTuber and Twitch streamer Daniel, also known as “Danny,” was sentenced to a year and a half probation for double rape. The court concluded that he raped his ex-girlfriend “Vi” in two instances, at least that’s what the documents in her Twitter post said. Now his colleagues have spoken up, some of whom have previously worked with Danny: They expressed shock and disgust.
Warning: The article deals with sexual abuse. If the topic causes you discomfort, you should not read this news.
The situation in brief:
Danny’s ex-girlfriend Vi claimed to have been labeled a “psycho ex” who wanted to damage Danny’s reputation and spread untrue things. She went public and shared court documents on Twitter, showing Danny’s conviction.
He was sentenced to probation for rape in two cases. Because of his age at the time of the offenses, juvenile criminal law applies to him.
His colleagues like Twitch streamer Niekbeats, Papaplatte, and musician t-low were continually notified on Twitter and urged to make a statement.
Niekbeats issued a statement after just a few hours. Papaplatte, t-low, and other colleagues have also spoken out now.
This is how Danny became known to many: During a Rust project, where many German streamers organized role-playing on their own server in 2021, Danny made headlines throughout Germany. He asked a participant out of nowhere if she could sit on his face.
His friends vehemently defended him at the time, claiming that he was not as he appeared here.
“That’s an insider,” they argued, saying that he does have respect for women. Danny even apologized for his behavior, but still left behind a larger discussion.
Now he has been convicted of double rape, and now his colleagues are also uniformly turning their backs on him.
Colleagues are now distancing themselves from Danny
What do his friends say? Streamer Papaplatte posted his statement on Twitter, saying that he had to let the situation sink in emotionally first. He is sorry for what happened to the victim and wishes Vi a lot of strength. Papaplatte also stated that he had hardly any contact with Danny over the past 1.5 years – he will now cut off all ties completely.
But since t-low now knows the court’s verdict, he is distancing himself from Danny. Moreover, the V-logs on Danny’s YouTube channel will also stop, in which t-low was recently always the center of attention.
Furthermore, other colleagues expressed themselves on Instagram, who were part of the group around t-low and participated in Danny’s V-logs.
They uniformly state that they distance themselves from any sexual violence and that Danny was just “someone” for them who happened to be there and filmed the events of the group. Everyone apparently knew nothing about the act and will not do anything with the YouTuber in the future.

Even outside YouTubers and Twitch streamers spoke out
What did other content creators say? Not only the immediate circle, but also other streamers and YouTubers posted their views on the verdict:
MontanaBlack88 tweets: “Someone who rapes a woman, under whatever circumstances, should not be part of our society for a long time. The German justice system disgusts me at least as much as the perpetrators themselves (via Twitter).”
Shurjoka writes: “Yesterday, the double rape of a woman by an influencer went viral. Today, people are discussing in the Drukos [Twitter responses] ‘what could justify a rape,’ ‘whether he had to confess,’ ‘that he seems too nice to have done it,’ and ‘who would protect their bro.’ The presumption of innocence is, by the way, not a one-way street. Suggesting that a woman is just inventing a crime also means criminalizing the woman. Curiously, no one talks about perpetrator protection (via Twitter).”
orangemorange expresses concern for the YouTuber: “Danny was at his prime in life and I hope he doesn’t do anything serious to himself (via Twitter).”
Vik states: “In this Danny matter, I occasionally read tweets like: ‘So what? If my buddy raped someone, I would still support him. Friends are there for each other.’ and I seriously wonder where such people lost their moral compass (via Twitter).”
Several others published their displeasure over the situation and clearly distanced themselves from sexual violence. They cannot understand how one can not be on the side of the (potential) victim.
He wants nothing to do with people who inflict physical and psychological violence on others. Furthermore, he is deleting the joint song from YouTube and Spotify.

The musician t-low also posted a statement in his Instagram story: He doesn’t know how to deal with the situation and is shocked and confused himself. In fact, he apparently knew “about it” (referring to the accusations), but believed his friend, as he initially only knew his perspective.
But since t-low now knows the court’s verdict, he is distancing himself from Danny. Moreover, the V-logs on Danny’s YouTube channel will also stop, in which t-low was recently always the center of attention.

Now an artist and designer has introduced a new controller for PS5 and Xbox. And it looks really stylish at first glance.
Gaming controller designed with the PS5 in mind
Who developed the device? The person behind the controller is Tom Man. He is an industrial and graphic designer from Israel. He develops new product designs for companies as well as for exhibitions. In this context, he has already worked for the Israeli National Bank and an antiques museum.
What kind of controller is this? The ViR is a VR controller that Tom Man has specifically designed for shooter games (via tommandesign.com). According to the website Yankodesign, the artist was inspired by the official design of the PS5 DualSense controller and it is also supposed to have features like haptic feedback.
With the ViR, Man opts for an ergonomic design and a compact size. The design of the controller resembles futuristic weapons from movies. Many of you will surely like the thought of being able to play current shooters on your Xbox or PS5 with such a controller in the future.

Aim controllers already exist from other manufacturers
This type of controller, which looks like a pistol, is actually not entirely new. For example, Sony offers an aim controller for VR on PlayStation 4. This also looks like a pistol but appears somewhat bulkier than the artist’s design. You can still use PSVR on the PS5, by the way.
If you even have old PSVR hardware, you can order an adapter for your PS5 for free from Sony.

What do you think of the controller? Would you buy such a device for your console or gaming PC? Or do you think the idea and design are not so good?
In the future, there should be more VR accessories for the PS5. Sony finally presented PS VR 2 at CES 2022. You can read all the information about the new system and when it will be available in our article:
