Blizzard wants to select players who have significant experience with endgame content in Diablo 2: Resurrected, Diablo 3, and Diablo Immortal. The closed beta will exclusively offer content beyond the leveling phase.

Diablo 4: Closed Beta Focused on Endgame
What is included in the beta? Blizzard wants to test the endgame of Diablo 4 with the closed beta, meaning what keeps players engaged after the campaign. The developers specifically mention 5 playable contents:
Hell Tide
Some regions will be overrun by enemies at World Tier 3: Nightmare. Enemies will grow stronger during this zone-wide event and drop better loot. Additionally, you’ll receive Glimmer here, a new currency to open special chests in the area. If you die, you lose your Glimmer.
Nightmare Dungeons
Once you receive your first “Nightmare Seal,” you can enter Nightmare Dungeons. Each seal corresponds to a specific dungeon and adds modifiers that make it harder and improve loot quality. During runs, you gain additional seals to make the dungeons even harder.
Whispers of the Dead
Whispers will appear on your map. These are tasks you should complete, for which you receive Gruesome Gifts. You can exchange 10 of these gifts at the Whispering Tree for loot and experience points. The system reportedly reminds players of bounties from Diablo 3 and currently causes concern among fans.
Fields of Hatred
Certain zones will be cursed and turned into open PvP zones. In cursed areas, you can kill demons for Seeds of Hatred. If you bring these to an altar, you can create Red Dust from them. This can be used to purchase cosmetics. However, if another player kills you, they can take your gathered seeds.
Paragon Boards
Starting at level 50, you can test the detailed Paragon system. This system serves as character development after reaching the max level and is significantly more extensive in Diablo 4 than in its predecessors. You can find more information in our article on Paragon and items in Diablo 4.
Which classes can I play in the beta? According to current information, there will be no restrictions. So you can likely try each of the starting classes of the game. In our special, we present to you all 5 classes of Diablo 4 with gameplay.

Can I talk about the beta? No, the entire closed beta test will take place under an NDA, meaning under a non-disclosure agreement. You are not allowed to share your experiences or stream content.
If you do not comply with the rules, you will typically be excluded from the test and all future tests. Additionally, depending on the NDA, further penalties may apply. However, some players are not deterred and are still sharing gameplay right now:

What is the Community Day? Every month, Pokémon GO hosts a special multi-hour event where a predetermined Pokémon takes center stage and is thus almost everywhere to be found.
Community Day in October 2022 – Start, Bonuses, Raids & Shinys
When does the event take place? The Community Day runs on Saturday, October 15, 2022, between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM local time.
Which Pokémon is in focus? As communicated by Niantic via social networks, you can look forward to the Ghost and Fire Pokémon Lichtel for the C-Day in October. The little candle will therefore spawn in the wild throughout the event period.

Is there a special move? As you might know from previous Community Days, there will also be an exclusive move with Lichtel for the C-Day. To achieve this, you need to evolve the Pokémon into Skelabra during the event and up to 5 hours afterward.
Skelabra learns the Ghost move “Poltergeist”. This move does the following damage:

Can you catch shiny Lichtel? Yes. For years, many players in Pokémon GO have been waiting to finally catch Lichtel in its shiny form. During the Community Day in October, you will finally have the opportunity to do so.
Typically, shiny chances are slightly increased during Community Days, so you will more likely encounter a shiny specimen. So keep an eye out for a Lichtel with a light blue flame.

Special Raids: As in previous months, there will be special level 4 raids during the Community Day with Lichtel, which you can participate in after the event. These will run from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM local time.
In these, you can challenge Lichtel’s first evolution Laternecto and earn additional Lichtel spawns within a 300-meter radius around a gym for 30 minutes. However, these raids will only be playable on-site. You will only be able to participate with raid passes and premium battle passes. Remote raids are not possible.

How are players reacting to this? The reactions are very varied. Overall, there are 3 factions that are jumping on the clips.
There are players who are fascinated by such scenes. They celebrate the gameplay and see it as an encouragement to improve themselves:

The English Twitch streamer “ItsSlikeR” is said to have borrowed money from viewers and fellow streamers over several years – he paid back nothing. Now he addressed his fans and those affected in an emotional stream.
This is the situation: On September 17, streamer “mikelpee” shared a video that he claims to have received from Sliker. In the video, Sliker explains that his bank account has been temporarily blocked. Therefore, he needs to borrow some money, which he promises to pay back within 2 months.
Sliker also claims to have asked a few other streamers for help, but they said “no.” Therefore, he is now reaching out to subscribers who have stood out to him. The streamer also asks to keep the whole matter confidential, as it is very embarrassing for him.

This is the scale of the situation: The clip spread in the subreddit “LivestreamFail,” where it already garnered over 23,000 likes and nearly 2,000 comments. Among the comments, there is also a collection of screenshots of conversations on Discord and transfers (via reddit).
Apparently, Sliker sent these and similar messages to several fellow content creators and viewers. More and more people are coming forward, stating that they lent Sliker money or were asked to do so. In total, Sliker is said to have obtained over €200,000.
Some of those affected have apparently been waiting for 2 years for Sliker to pay back the money.
Sliker apologizes in emotional stream
This is the stream in question: In a stream on September 18, Sliker addressed his fans and those affected. In the stream, Sliker appears very emotional.
It seems hard for him to talk about the situation; he frequently has to pause, burying his face in his hands. However, through tears, he explains that he is not the victim in this case and promises to tell the whole truth.

This is what Sliker needed the money for: The streamer says he is addicted to gambling. It all started with CS:GO skins. However, he then began to gamble for money. Initially, it was smaller amounts, but as he started streaming, it increased.
Sliker squandered all his Twitch earnings and needed more. Therefore, he reached out to other streamers. However, he did not have the courage to tell them the real reasons and thus lied.
Among those affected is said to be the casino streamer Tyler “Trainwreck” Niknam, from whom Sliker supposedly borrowed $100,000. This, he says, destroyed their friendship.
“It was never my intention to cheat anyone”
This is how Sliker rationalized his behavior: Sliker explained that he had – at least at the beginning – intended to pay people back their money. It was never his intention to cheat anyone. He also promised to eventually pay the affected individuals back.
Additionally, he praised those affected for coming forward and warned against gambling:
This is what gambling has made of me. The stuff is dangerous. This is the epitome of a gambling addict. I lied to my viewers and told them, “I gambled a long time ago.” That was a lie. I have been gambling continuously.
What happens now? While Sliker promises to somehow come up with the money, Twitch star Félix “xQc” and YouTuber Ludwig Ahgren have announced they want to compensate the victims.
Gambling is currently a huge topic on Twitch. The so-called casino streamers are repeatedly the subject of controversy.
Also, in the German Twitch scene, gambling was quite popular for a while through streamers like MontanaBlack and Knossi. However, this can have serious consequences for viewers.
The MMORPG Gloria Victis is receiving a massive update. The developers are enhancing graphics, maps, and parts of the gameplay.
Gloria Victis has been in Early Access on Steam since 2016. The MMORPG is developed by Black Eye Games, an indie studio from Poland. They announced that after further adjustments, they plan to leave Early Access soon and are offering players significant improvements with the current update. The graphics, especially the sky, are now much more detailed.
What kind of game is this? Gloria Victis throws you into a medieval open world that is realistic. Therefore, there is neither magic nor special monsters or effects in the MMORPG. Instead, Gloria Victis focuses on other aspects:
PvE content such as group quests, events, and raids
Crafting plays an important role
There are no fixed classes. Instead, you improve your character by leveling up skills.
The MMORPG is Buy2Play (costs 19.99 Euro on Steam) and also offers a shop with cosmetic upgrades.

Significant graphic improvements
This now looks different: Especially the visual quality of the sky has changed since the update in Gloria Victis. In the sky, you can now see high-resolution clouds that move.
The movements of the sun have also been improved, now showcasing beautiful sunrises and sunsets – much closer to reality than before.
A new lighting system makes the nights in the MMORPG darker while offering you the possibility to set up lanterns and torches to light up part of your surroundings. Over time, your character’s eyes also adapt to the darkness, allowing you to see more.
Additionally, there are visual effects such as fog or lightning to make the environment more realistic. The reflections in water bodies also look better now.
To ensure you experience more of this, the visibility range around your character has been increased. Now you can see more of the beautified world around you.

New structure of the world map
The map of Stoneholm, the world of Gloria Victis, has been restructured since the update. The capitals of the 3 regions are now located at the edge of the map, while starting zones for each nation are on separate islands.
Through the changes, players are supposed to have more space on the map, allowing them more time to contemplate their actions and manage potential risks.
The quests have been adjusted to the new map. Players should comfortably reach level 60 while being safely on their way. With specific quest boards in each zone, it is also possible to complete additional tasks and gain more experience.
Furthermore, you can now directly teleport to your quest. Previously, you had to walk everywhere.
