What makes Dracthyr special? Sailing is the biggest feature of the Dracthyr. Like the dragon riding in Dragonflight, you can glide through the air and move using various abilities, ascend, or speed up.
However, you do not have momentum like your riding dragons, but rather a limited number of charges on your abilities. The cooldown of Sail only resets when you land again.
An Overview of the Evoker Abilities
What can Evokers do? As an Evoker, you wear chain armor and therefore share your loot primarily with Shamans, partly with Hunters and other spellcasting classes. You can wield axes, daggers, fist weapons, maces, staves, and swords.
You also inherently have 4 class abilities that make you particularly useful in a group:
Wrath of the Aspects: Increases the haste of all group and raid members by 30% for 40 seconds (Bloodlust/Heroism)
Blessing of the Bronze: Reduces the cooldown of important movement abilities of group and raid members by 15% for 1 hour
Hover: Allows casting most spells while moving for 10 seconds and increases movement speed by 30%
Deep Breath: Flies a great distance and deals damage to enemies along the way. You free yourself from all effects that prevent your movement and become immune to such effects as well as loss of control effects during the flight.
Additionally, you have access to “empowered” spells. These spells have a different effect depending on how long you cast them – such as hitting more targets or dealing more damage. One of the biggest challenges for new Evokers is to learn when to empower which spell and how long to do so, as well as when to use Hover.

Which talents should I choose? The talent trees for all classes in Dragonflight are divided into a class and a specialization tree. The class tree usually contains talents that benefit every specialization as well as specific abilities for movement or support of the group (“Utility”).

Zephyr: You and 4 nearby allies within 20 meters take 20% less damage from area attacks for the next 8 seconds and move 30% faster
Time Spiral: You and allies can use a major movement ability once in the next 10 seconds, even if it’s currently not available
