Around 8:16 PM, all teams were working on the perfect damage phase against the final raid boss. However, at 8:25 PM, Clan “Hard in the Paint” was able to decide the race. They thus returned to orbit as the first team after 2 hours and 25 minutes.

This is how toxic the Destiny community reacted: The dark side of this joint raid race of the guardians surfaced again through toxic comments from the Destiny community.
Some players expressed that they welcome the fact that with the victory of “Hard in the Paint,” Clan Elysium,which had previously secured the title three times in a row, has failed. Specifically, Elysium member Saltagreppo has been associated with calls for harsh elite nerfs in the game that many rejected since last year.
I really hope that [Saltagreppo] finishes in 10th place and everyone can laugh at him. I never wanted anyone to fail on Day 1, now I do! […] I want you to fail to become World First so I can laugh at you, as most in the community, I fear.
Even if this race is certainly a competition in some way, one still knows each other for years and stands together. None of the clans competing for the World First raid had such disdain for their competition. This increased the tension: Already beforehand of the raid race, players were worried about some bugs in the game. Also, a total of 9 items were disabled for the race.
The invisible and FPS bug were also hotly discussed as an issue during the raid. At least for the former, Bungie has already announced a fix for March 16, and even postponed the Iron Banner for this reason.

So many wanted to watch the World First race: Shortly after the raid started, Destiny 2 topped the viewer numbers on Twitch.
Over 468,000 concurrent viewers catapulted Destiny 2: Lightfall to first place shortly after the raid started, ahead of “Just Chatting,” League of Legends, VALORANT, Fortnite, and CS:GO.
Around 7:41 PM, the concurrent viewer count peaked at 520,000.

What are the allegations? On March 8, the German streamer Philipp “Paarzival” posted about his Twitch colleague Nik alias Eistuete. He is said to have repeatedly acted inappropriately towards female streamers.
How did it happen? According to Paarzival, Eistuete allegedly followed the same pattern over and over again: he would message female streamers privately and use intimate or uncomfortable nicknames like “Mommy.”
He would then transition to questions about age and relationship status, suggesting calls or meetings. There were also said to be more explicit and inappropriate remarks, including:
“If you weren’t so young, I would be already in love” (to a noticeably younger but apparently of age streamer)
“I would like to have sex with you”
“But you didn’t sleep your way to becoming a Twitch partner, did you?”
Additionally, Eistuete allegedly made promises to female streamers. He was said to have offered to make connections to increase the women’s reach (via Twitter).

Others who were not affected themselves are shocked by the behavior of the streamer. Many thank Paarzival for the clarification and explain that they were deceived by Eistuete (via Twitter).
In reaction to the allegations coming to light, there were apparently also false claims that the streamer had behaved inappropriately towards minors. Paarzival himself distances himself from these claims: He is not aware of any such case.
He also condemns the spreading of hate and the publishing of the streamer’s private information:

What the streamer is known for: Eistuete became known mainly for streams of the drawing game Gartic Phone, a mix of Chinese whispers and Montagsmaler, where players come up with funny sentences and then draw them.
He marketed himself as a feel-good streamer. On his Twitch channel, viewers were greeted with “Welcome to your safe space.” On Twitch, the streamer has 9,700 followers and averaged between 200 and 300 viewers (via sullygnome).

What does Eistuete himself say about the allegations? That same evening, the streamer posted a tweet regarding the allegations. In it, he asked for time to think to respond appropriately. However, he did not deny the allegations.
Update 21:15 – On March 10, a more detailed statement followed via Twitter. In it, the streamer explained that he would take full responsibility for his actions. He never intended to hurt or harass anyone.
What happens now: Eistuete announced that as a consequence of his behavior, he would stop streaming and want to withdraw from the public eye. However, he would work on himself and his communication skills (via Twitter).
Meanwhile, all images and videos from his accounts on Twitch and Twitter have disappeared. It seems that the streamer wanted to withdraw from the public eye for now.

What has Bungie announced for the raid? Tonight at 6:00 PM, the new Lightfall raid “Root of Nightmares” in Destiny 2 will start with the big World First race. In the first 48 hours after the launch of the new raid, it will then be active in the so-called competition mode. Players from around the world will once again engage in an exciting race for a victory belt.
What is the competition mode?
The Contest Mode, or competition mode, is a mode that Bungie only activates at the start of each new raid. Players are massively scaled down from their light level, unfair and broken exotics are disabled, and enemies hit you with deadlier and much more accurate shots.
Bosses also become true sponge-like creatures that can endure massive damage. Essentially, it is a nightmarish version of the affected raid, in which guardians will grind their teeth for hours.

All locked weapons overview
Many teams plan their loadouts and ability builds for the raid very carefully. However, since Bungie has now disabled several items for the raid launch, you may have to rethink this selection now, as in addition to weapons, exotics, and armor mods, a strand fragment is also locked.

The weapon’s projectiles have tracking and are deadly on a direct hit. An unsuspecting enemy can be eliminated in the Crucible with just one shot without needing to aim particularly accurately.

Why the weapon was locked: The exotic bow with the guiding ring has a damage bug that has not yet been fixed. In normal PvE, it is not too bad, but its unwanted property would jeopardize the raid race.

“Citans Bulwark” – Exotic Gauntlets for the Titan

“Necrotic Grip” – Exotic Gauntlets for the Warlock
Dealing damage to fighters poisons them, and this damage grows over time. If a poisoned fighter is defeated, the state spreads. Apparently, the spread with strand was too strong, which is why the exotic was pulled out of the race shortly before the raid started.
Normally, activating the grenade ability would reload equipped weapons and grant temporary bonus effectiveness in the air as well as handling. However, due to a bug, this fragment could also automatically reload weapons without delay.
Bungie also announced that this option will be disabled throughout the entire game – not just in the raid competition mode.
Empowered Finish – Armor Finisher Mod
The mod grants players armor charge on finishers when they have none. However, it could also generate unlimited special ammo when players used it in a certain way.

This is the costume trainers wish for: Many other trainers had hoped that this year there would be a completely new costume. In particular, they already have a concrete idea of what this could be for Pikachu: a bunny costume. Other trainers would be satisfied with a Pikachu with bunny ears or an Easter hat.
What a Pikachu in an Easter costume might look like is shown by the Twitter user TeamSableye through a plush toy from the Pokémon Center. He writes (via twitter.com): “Since they like to use Pokémon Center plush toys as templates for costumes, maybe they should take this year’s Easter Pikachu, it’s super cute” and posts an appropriate image.
Whether you will still be able to enjoy another cool costumed monster for the Easter event remains to be seen. Since the findings are not official data, the developers also have the option to change them or even decide against a release.
