Some trailers pay them back with enormous click numbers and a lot of attention. We at MeinMMO have compiled a list of 5 gaming trailers that achieved over 500 million views in total.
Rank 5: Angry Birds & the Mighty Eagle Trailer
What kind of trailer is this? Angry Birds was a very popular mobile game a few years ago that was downloaded over 400 million times and even received its own movie due to its success.
In September 2010, a trailer titled “Angry Birds & the Mighty Eagle” was released on YouTube, announcing the debut of the Mighty Eagle added in the later fall update. By 2022, the trailer had gathered over 136 million views.
Rank 4: Clash Royale: The Last Second
What kind of trailer is this? Clash Royale is a popular mobile game that combines tower defense and collectible card concepts. The “The Last Second” trailer was broadcast as the official advertisement of the game and showcased the final seconds of action-packed battles in an arena. On YouTube, this 49-second spectacle had almost 139 million views by September 2022.
Rank 3: League of Legends: The Call
What kind of trailer is this? Riot Games released the animated video titled “The Call” as a trailer for the 2022 season of League of Legends on YouTube in January. Nearly nine months later, the 4-minute clip has achieved 140 million views and shows how massive LoL is.
Rank 2: Among Us – Beta Launch Trailer
What kind of trailer is this? In 2018, Innersloth, the developer studio behind the surprise hit Among Us, released a trailer on YouTube for the beta launch.
The trailer itself showcased the gameplay principle in 30 seconds, where 5-10 players repair a spaceship with small tasks while the so-called imposter gradually murders the crew members. Four years after the trailer’s release, it has gathered over 144 million views.

Likes: 1.6 million
What kind of trailer is this? Minecraft is one of the most well-known and popular survival games and is played by millions of gamers on various platforms (via. Xbox.com). It’s not surprising that the official Minecraft trailer has clicks in the hundreds of millions.
A comment under the trailer on YouTube describes the impact of the title quite well: ”This is not a trailer for a game, this is a trailer for a generation.”
