Godzilla is a very powerful monster, that is widely known. In a story from Marvel, however, he must face one of the strongest villains ever, and for a moment it doesn’t look good for the giant lizard.

In Volume 2 of the comic series “Godzilla: Infinity Roar” by author Gerry Duggan and artists Javier Garron and Ig Guara, the Japanese giant lizard is once again destroying the world.
This time, he has wandered into the Marvel universe. The villain Knull enhanced Godzilla’s already strong powers, causing him to bring great chaos and destruction.
Finally, the Fantastic Four summon none other than Galactus to put an end to Godzilla once and for all. It’s actually not a bad plan, since the villain, also known as the “World Eater”, is one of the most powerful figures in Marvel.

Godzilla is hard to digest
How does the fight go? Basically, the confrontation doesn’t last long. Godzilla tries to strike his opponent. However, Galactus grabs the lizard and begins to absorb it with his cosmic power.
Godzilla is effectively being consumed by Galactus, his particles along with the energy contained within them residing in the body of the Marvel villain.
The triumph is, however, short-lived: Godzilla possesses very strong regenerative powers and reassembles himself. He then breaks out from Galactus’s chest, much like the Xenomorph from the movie Alien.
The Marvel villain is literally torn apart and falls to the ground. Thus, it is clear: Godzilla easily defeats Galactus.
With new power, the giant lizard is now even more dangerous. The Avengers must ally with the X-Men and the forces of Asgard to confront the common enemy. The finale of the comic series, Volume 5, will be released in English on June 3. Then it will be revealed whether Godzilla can be defeated in all forms.
