At the end of February, many viewers were able to watch the anime movie Attack on Titan: The Last Attack. Although the film is just a summary of the last two episodes, it is very well received by moviegoers.
What kind of movie is it? Attack on Titan: The Last Attack shows the last two episodes of the anime in 145 minutes of runtime. Originally, the episodes were aired at the end of 2023, bringing the anime about the Titans to a close.

How good is it? Considering only the movies that have received at least 1,000 reviews, Attack on Titan: The Last Attack is currently the highest-rated anime movie on IMDb. The film has a rating of 9.3 / 10 based on approximately 13,000 ratings.
It also has a great rating on MyAnimeList: there it ranks 6th with a rating of 8.81 / 10 points, just behind Your Name. However, the number of votes differs here (32,000 to 2.8 million), so it is possible that the final ranking may change.
In the comments on IMDb, viewers praise the animations and the soundtrack of the grand finale. Many have fond memories of Attack on Titan and believe that the film is a great addition. However, there are also critical voices accusing the production team of only wanting to make money.
How can you watch the movie? Although Attack on Titan: The Last Attack already ran in cinemas at the end of February, some cinemas are showing the film again. Cinemaxx, for example, offers screenings in March depending on the location.
Afterwards, the film is expected to be available for streaming on Crunchyroll in 2025. There is no exact date yet. Once the film is available on the platform, you can watch it at home.
