What kind of game is this? Bloody Hell is a shoot ’em up in the genre of a Danmaku. It throws you into a bloody pixel world that you oversee from a bird’s-eye view. You play as a chicken with a halo on its head and have the mission to kill Satan.
To do this, you descend into Hell and roam from room to room, where you shoot at demons that want to block your path. The enemies drop bones that you can then trade in the starting room for rewards and upgrade your chicken.
