Boluses (in English Boluses) are among the usable items on your expeditions in Nightreign. Yet many players ignore them, even though they are very powerful.
Why do players ignore the important items? Players already know Boluses as a usable item from the main game of Elden Ring. There, they provide temporary bonuses that primarily heal or prevent negative status effects (like poison, bleeding, or madness). They are found, bought, or crafted, and used to counter harmful influences.
Because the effect in Elden Ring only lasts for a short time, they are often ignored in Nightreign, as other items seem significantly more useful. However, they are among the most powerful usable items in the game and can even determine victory or defeat in crucial moments.

What makes the Boluses so powerful? Unlike in Elden Ring, the Boluses in Nightreign provide permanent buffs in the form of resistances for your run, which you can see under your buffs.
