Today, on July 17, 2024, the new patch “Chilliger Sommer” for Lost Ark. The most important innovation is the solo mode, which allows you to tackle raids and dungeons from the endgame of the MMORPG alone. We have the official patch notes for you.
When will the Chilliger Sommer update go live? The maintenance should actually last about six hours, from 11:00 AM to around 5:00 PM. However, the July patch is already live, and you can dive into the many new features of Lost Ark.
What is behind the new solo mode? The new game mode is intended to allow you to tackle content such as the Legion’s raid Valtan or the Abyss dungeon in the Ivory Tower on your own, thus earning some gold and progress materials.
Note that rewards will cease once you exceed a certain item level with your character:
- Valtan & Vykas Legion Raids – starting from item level 1,600
- Kakul-Saydon Legion Raid – starting from item level 1,610
- Brelshaza Legion Raid – starting from item level 1,620
- Kayangel Abyss Dungeon – starting from item level 1,640
In order for all classes to truly master the challenges solo, you can activate support effects for the run. You can also earn completion medals in this mode. You can find more details on the next page.

What other innovations does the July update bring? New events are starting that are intended to help you with character progression. Additionally, the developers are distributing gifts.
- Voldis Event Powerpass: Allows you to start in Voldis with a character at item level 1,520.
- Super Mokoko Express: Makes it easier for you to level up from item level 1,520 to 1,600 with a character.
- Endgame Reward Event: You will receive additional rewards for completing endgame content.
- New daily playtime rewards: Until September 25, you will be rewarded for daily logins and every 15 minutes of playtime with in-game goodies such as silver, enhancement materials, cards, event tokens, and more. Additionally, there is a new login reward series as well as new hot-time events.
- Gift: Upon logging in, you will receive a gift containing useful supply chests, amulets, a Dark Fire chest, and ancient soundstones.
- Engraving support for Class 3: This system allows characters at item level 1,250 or higher to use five engravings at level 3.
Along with all the ease and goodies, the Maharaka Festival is also returning, where you can earn rewards such as summer cosmetics, running effects, fortress buildings, and transformations.
