For 10 years, especially Mad Max fans have been waiting for a film that is finally set to premiere in 2024. The story of this film has been in the works for a long time and now seems ready to be told, as you can see in this video by Marco Risch.

Which film is finally set to be released? In his video, Marco reports that next year the film “Furiosa – A Mad Max Saga” is supposed to hit theaters and tells you what it’s all about.
The fourth film in the Mad Max series, “Fury Road,” was announced in 2014 after it had been in development for 15 years. The film quickly became a super hit and, according to Marco, still ranks among the most impressive action films of the century.
In 2015, Mad Max met the legendary Furiosa (Charlize Theron). Now, the young Furiosa is set to take the screen with her own film.
A chapter of the story that originated with Fury Road so that Theron could better understand her character. Now, we are also to learn this story to get to know Furiosa better – told by an almost 80-year-old George Miller, whose films, according to Marco, still refuse to look like they were made by an old man.
What can you expect from Furiosa? Marco describes in his video the “Jesus principle” of the Mad Max films, which ensures that each film can be seen as a standalone.
Because in each film, different eyewitnesses recount Max’s various deeds, which ultimately benefit others – in a world where everyone generally thinks of themselves.
Furiosa – A Mad Max Saga will be the exception. Because even though Mad Max is mentioned in the title, he would be in a completely different place in this film and timeframe.
Instead, you will experience the story of the young Furiosa, who wants to return to the Greenlands, as Marco reports. The film is supposed to encompass 15 years in the wastelands and recount different moments from Furiosa’s life.
