In PvP, the Berserker is easy to play and quite strong in low-rank PvP. However, his abilities are somewhat slow and predictable. This makes him weaker in high-rank PvP. But those who play PvP just for fun should have no problems with the Berserker.

Which class is the best for solo players? Basically, every class in Lost Ark works completely on its own during the leveling process. So you are not forced to choose a specific class.
After numerous hours of gameplay in Russia, the beta, and now the live version in Europe, we conclude that the best classes for solo players are the warrior classes, namely Berserker, Paladin, and Gunlancer.
However, the Berserker is the best solo class among them:
- He has a large pool of health points and defense
- He is very easy to play
- He has good AoE damage
- His mobility is decent
- Thanks to the good damage and the debuff from Red Dust, he is a strong DPS class in the endgame
All three warrior classes, however, are in our PvE tier list in the highest section, the S-Tier.
The Berserker, however, has a significant damage advantage over the Paladin, which makes leveling a bit faster. Paladins primarily land in the S-Tier because their support is so important. The Gunlancer is very strong but much harder to play.
This makes the Berserker the best class for solo players and also for newcomers.

This is what the Berserker can do: The Berserker wields a greatsword, with which he smashes enemies. All his abilities deal AoE damage, although for some attacks, you need to position enemies directly in front of you.
For his special class mechanic, you build rage to activate Berserker mode. This temporarily increases values such as damage, speed, and critical hit chance. Once the ability has expired, you need to gather rage again by defeating enemies.
How do I play the Berserker most effectively at the beginning? As a Berserker, you need to learn to group your enemies together and position them in front of you. Afterwards, you can defeat them all with powerful sword strikes in one fell swoop.
Helpful here is the ability Shoulder Charge, which gives you mobility at the beginning. You defeat your enemies initially with Finishing Blow and Whirlwind. You need to hold the latter down, and you can also move while doing so. From level 14, the Strike of Storms is added.
