The June update of Lost Ark was released on June 30 on the servers of the western version and caused great excitement even before its release. The patch notes were already available the night before and flooded Reddit with a fantastic atmosphere. We at MeinMMO summarize.
What kind of update is this? Monthly, a major update is scheduled in our version of Lost Ark. While the May patch scored points with new bosses and a new class, the June update has comparatively fewer contents.
Nevertheless, it offers quite a bit of new content. Another Legion Raid is introduced, a new tower for solo players, and an event where you can dance on a party island. Unlike previous monthly updates, the June patch lacks a new class.

It is also surprising that the monthly update comes to us with a two-week delay, as it was actually announced for the middle of the month. This had caused rather bad mood among the fans beforehand, which, however, has fundamentally changed now.

What is particularly well received? The mood in the Lost Ark community is currently at its peak. The changes introduced by the update are received very positively, which is largely not even due to the new content. Much more, at the center of the euphoria are some bug fixes and “Quality of Life” adjustments.
Among other things, bots are being banned further and actively hindered in the game. In the future, it may happen that you have to solve a CAPTCHA when entering a new zone. This is intended to further stop automated characters in Arkesia, after over 600,000 of them have already been banned.
A bug has also been fixed that categorized the title of the Crystal Aura as new with every single login. You had to click on it for the notification to disappear. This error had been in the game since the launch in February, and fans celebrate that it is finally gone.
Even a seemingly small change brings great joy. You can now set the size of the damage numbers yourself. This previously caused problems, especially on 4K monitors, as many found the numbers too small. The annoying cursor bug has finally been fixed, which plagued the game for weeks.
Overall, the mood in the forum and on Reddit is very good. There are always some negative voices, but personally, we have not experienced the community’s mood so positively since the launch.

The smaller highlights: Several threads on Reddit and in the forum receive many upvotes, where users just want to thank Amazon and celebrate the new changes. Also, the fact that Yoz’s Krug apparently prevailed against Smilegate reignites hope for many in the publisher.
The changes to the weekly reset in the game are also particularly praised. Previously, this occurred on a Thursday, but starting now, a new week should always begin on Wednesdays.
This is especially important because many events in Lost Ark only take place on certain weekdays, and Wednesday had been referred to by some as a “dead day” because little happens then. With this change, Amazon is thus purely catering to fan service.
