The (at least so far) best role-playing game in the Warhammer 40,000 universe is getting a third story DLC. This one will take you into a secret treasure chamber of the greatest collector in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. He owns a whole planet full of bizarre treasures.
What kind of DLC is this? It is called The Infinite Museion and is now the third story DLC for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader. The CRPG by developer Owlcat Games was already released on December 7, 2023, and the team is already working on Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy – its next big Warhammer role-playing game.
If you are looking for a classic role-playing game in the style of Baldur’s Gate 3, just set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, Rogue Trader is currently your best choice. If you search for the highest-rated games under the “CRPG” tag on Steam, Rogue Trader ranks 4th with 87% positive reviews.
The Infinite Museion leads you to the vault of Trazyn the Infinite, where countless treasures and artifacts await you – as well as Trazyn himself. In the meantime, there is also a release date for the DLC, which is June 11, 2026.

Who is this Trazyn anyway? The Infinite is a High Lord of the Necrons – a species of aliens (referred to as Xenos in the Warhammer 40,000 universe) who traded their organic bodies for living metal a long time ago. Unlike the rest of his kind, however, Trazyn is a passionate collector.
He sees himself as a keeper of history, as an archivist. When necessary, he “rescues” artifacts even with force (of course, only to preserve them for the future!). However, his seemingly endless collection needs to be housed somewhere. For this, he has a whole planet: Solemnus – an artificial planet that is also a single museum.
One of the most bizarre pieces in his collection is the clone of a Chaos Primarch: Fulgrim, the leader of the Emperor’s Children. This chapter of Space Marines has been corrupted by the Chaos God Slaanesh and has since turned away from the Imperium. A clone of Fulgrim is now indefinitely in Trazyn’s collection.
What role does Trazyn play in the DLC? Trazyn himself will also appear in The Infinite Museion. He pursues his own plans and will try to involve the player in the course of the story. You decide whether to cooperate with Trazyn or to oppose him. Or you might even try to outsmart him…
