In Pokémon GO, the Environment Week starts with Salanga, Tentagra, and a costumed Galar-Corasonn. But how do you catch the three? And what else is included in the event?
When does Environment Week start? Environment Week starts on April 14, 2026 at 10:00 AM. It ends on April 20 at 8:00 PM.
What’s in it? Many of the contents revolve around exploring the environment and walking routes. The highlights are the debut of Salanga, which evolves into Sanaconda, as well as Galar-Corasonn with pink sunglasses and the appearance of Tentagra as a Shiny.
How do I catch Salanga? It won’t be that easy, as Salanga will primarily appear in areas with desert biomes. This is similar to Schligda, which only appeared on beaches. The biomes in Pokémon GO can be recognized by the backgrounds that appear in the catch screen. Currently, there is a lack of deserts in this country. We will keep you updated when it is clearer how the release works.
How do I catch Galar-Corasonn? Galar-Corasonn appears everywhere in the wild at first. You will have an increased Shiny chance for the Pokémon when hatching 7 km eggs. It can then hatch with a higher probability as a Shiny.
How do I catch Tentagra? The Plant Tentacha appears in forest areas and meadows. These are more common in Germany than deserts. So, you can try your luck well in the local forests. There is no increased Shiny chance, but at least there is an opportunity to get it as a shiny.
