What kind of game is this? The developers of the two popular role-playing games Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Kingdom Come Deliverance II have announced on x.com that they are currently working on a “role-playing game with an open world in a Middle-earth setting.”
What is known about it so far? Aside from the announcement, there is currently no further information available. More details are expected to be released in due time.

When can we expect a release? We are likely going to have to wait a while before the game actually appears. The post does not provide any indications of how long the team has been working on the game. A wait of several years is therefore likely.

For which platforms is a release likely? Of course, it’s impossible to predict precisely, but if you look at their other titles, the new RPG set in the Lord of the Rings universe could be released on the following platforms:

Since KCD2 has not yet received a port for the Nintendo Switch and it took 6 years for the first part to be released on Nintendo’s console, we wouldn’t get our hopes up too high that this title could make it to the Switch directly at launch.
