In Subnautica 2 you will need the Conduit Crystals for crafting later on in your journey. Many fans seem to have trouble finding them or cannot find them at all. Therefore, we will show you where to look for the Conduit Crystals.
Where can I find the Conduit Crystals? You will find the Conduit Crystals around the Research Outpost near the marking “Alien Ruins”. This location is east of the starting point, approximately 1,260 meters away. Note that you will eventually arrive there through the main quest – so you won’t have to search for it specifically after that.
From the Research Outpost, head southeast and swim down further into the gorge. Starting from about 300 meters depth and below, you will find many alien structures in the area, and the crystals can grow on these. Unfortunately, they do not have fixed spawn points, so you need to keep your eyes open. The crystals look like long, angular protrusions growing upwards.
To harvest the resource, you also use the Sound Resonator. With it, you can fire a targeted sound at it and take a specimen with you.
What do I need the Conduit Crystals for? For many, these crystals are a coveted resource because you can use them to build advanced and improved fins. Additionally, other items also require this material for crafting, such as the Bio Scanner or the improved Battery.
That’s all the important information on how to reliably get to the Conduit Crystals. Keep in mind that the area around the alien structures can be dangerous and many creatures are waiting down there to destroy your equipment. So be prepared when you search for the crystals.
