At the E3 2019, a new trailer for Borderlands 3 was released. Additionally, there is now a new DLC available for the predecessor, Borderlands 2 – for free.
The E3 2019 is in full swing and Microsoft is churning out announcement after announcement. Borderlands 3 also made a small appearance. The upcoming coop loot shooter has received a new trailer that showcases more of the game’s madness.
Furthermore, a new DLC for Borderlands 2 has been officially announced and also released immediately.

What can be seen in the trailer? The trailer for Borderlands 3 from E3 2019 is a colorful mix of the “typical Borderlands madness.” All four vault hunters are shown with their special abilities unleashed on a multitude of enemies.
Of course, loot is also the focus here. It’s not just about shooting and picking up loot, but also about using loot… or something like that. As usual, Borderlands plays with its strange humor.
Especially exciting: The trailer reveals that Lilith is likely no longer a Siren. She says, “There are 6 Sirens – and I was one of them.” This essentially confirms a fan theory that Lilith has lost her Siren powers.
Free DLC for Borderlands 2 is out
New DLC for Borderlands 2 has launched: At the same time as the new trailer was released at E3, a new DLC for the predecessor, Borderlands 2, was launched.
“Commander Lilith & The Fight for Sanctuary” is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One – completely free of charge. The DLC connects the story of Borderlands 2 with its successor, Borderlands 3, and is therefore a must for all fans.
How can you play the new DLC? Since the DLC is free, you just need to download it from the respective store. On Steam, select Borderlands 2 in your library and then the downloadable content. On PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, simply select the respective stores and search for “Commander Lilith” and the DLC should be listed. A prerequisite is owning Borderlands 2.
