Wizard

MeinMMO author Jan likes it classic: I just love the aspect of the fantasy wizard. The ability to react to almost any situation with various spells is just something.
Who wouldn’t want to take down a whole group of enemies (and/or allies) with a well-placed spell? Likewise, an invisibility spell or illusion magic can work wonders on the right person.
I find a high-intelligence build always great because I love exploring worlds with logic and reason. Especially when a DM rewards attentive players for such behavior. The various role-playing options are also simply great.
Yes, everyone thinks of the old gray wizard with the pointy hat, but there are so many different variants and possibilities, from the spirit in human guise to the resurrected golem that can only cast magic through crystals. My favorite character, for example, was a shapeshifter giant who pretended to be a dwarf and beat people with his magically enhanced hands.
Although there were also many homebrew rules involved and the idea was stolen from a book called Magium, it was still super fun. Therefore, I can only recommend every DnD player to play a Wizard at least once, because the possibilities to solve various problems are nearly endless.
On page 7, Sophia and Benedict encourage you to charge into battle with the Paladin.
