Warlock

MeinMMO editor Caro feels at home with the Warlock: My absolute favorite in Dungeons & Dragons is the Warlock. I would love to explain why he is so OP or why you should definitely play him, but to be honest, I love the class so much because it offers so many cool possibilities for storytelling and role-playing.
Whether a pact with an abyssal entity, a cult’s runaway ritual, or a strange voice that brings strife and paranoia: With a Warlock as a character, there are so many opportunities for dark mysteries, battles against corruption, and other great synonyms for “I love horror and I want to experience it in my campaign.”
I (unfortunately) embody absolutely all the clichés of a Warlock fan: Eldritch Blast is – with an occasional Hunger of Hadar – all I need in combat, I play a tormented Tiefling, and I love being grinned at by my DM when everyone can sleep soundly except me.
Besides that, choosing a Warlock was great for my entry into Dungeons & Dragons. It’s my first campaign and I never felt overwhelmed; leveling was quite relaxed, and I contribute within and outside of combat. So far, I have not regretted the choice for a second!
