Order of the Gauntlet
The Order of the Gauntlet is a relatively young organization that has made it its mission to eradicate evil everywhere it hides.
Its members recognize threats early and act independently to snuff out dangers before they can unfold. And they do so quickly, decisively, and without compromise.
Instead of controlling others, the Order relies on role modeling: only those who choose the path of righteousness freely can truly find the good. Paladins, clerics, and monks of the order embody this commitment – their faith in the gods, in their allies, and in themselves is their greatest weapon.
They do not act arbitrarily but follow a strict code of honor: Action is taken only when truly evil deeds are taking place. To always be well-prepared, the Order relies on careful observation and uses both divine and worldly means to remain one step ahead of evil.
Their paths often lead them to dark ruins, corrupted dungeons, or regions threatened by chaos to tackle evil at its root. But they also know that true evil often lurks in the mind. Meditation and prayer serve for self-examination, so they can enter the fight with a pure heart.
