In Hearthstone there was an unusual lethal in an extremely tricky board situation. The player didn’t see it, but his fans did.
Hearthstone, as you know, is designed to provide a “story” after each match. And the more new cards with extraordinary abilities come into play, the more opportunities there are to tell a story.
The situation looks so bare and stark: The druid player has no cards on the board, the opponent is heavily equipped, his legendary shredder has spat out a trade prince Gallywix. The streamer Savjz is lounging a bit in his gaming chair and is deep in thought.
But while the player is still mulling over the situation, the stream chat is already going wild: “Lethal,” they write, yes spam. A combination that leads directly to the opponent’s death and thus to victory.
