What is it about? Cheats have always been a big part of Grand Theft Auto. Even in the single-player campaign of GTA 5, there are plenty of cheats you can use to your advantage. You can become invulnerable, summon cars or planes, or cause chaos with explosive ammunition.

In this overview, we show you:

How can I enter cheats in GTA 5 on PS4/PS5 and Xbox?

Entering cheats on PlayStation: On PlayStation, you just need to press the specified buttons on the controller in the correct order. You can also dial the number using your phone.

Entering cheats on Xbox: On Xbox, you just need to press the specified buttons on the controller in the correct order. You can also dial the provided number using your phone.

What you need to know: Save your game before using cheats. Once you have used a cheat, you will not be able to earn achievements and trophies on that save file. The cheats must be disabled again for that.

Are there cheats for GTA Online? No, there are no cheat codes for GTA Online. Hackers use mod menus to gain illegal advantages in the online world. However, these are prohibited and can lead to account bans. This is how hackers once controlled this ridiculously large transformer in an online session.
