In Path of Exile 2 there are countless different ways to play. Just the skill tree offers hundreds of different values that a character can acquire. A gamer has now chosen his own way to play the ARPG.
How does the gamer play? While many players struggle with a character in Path of Exile 2, this is probably not the case for Reddit user draxor_666. In a video on Reddit, he shows that he controls both characters simultaneously in the local co-op mode of the ARPG.
In the comments, he explains that he holds a controller in each hand and can play both characters together. To make this work well, he has come up with even more ideas.
A new kind of build
What has the player come up with? The gamer is not just playing two random builds in Path of Exile 2. He takes advantage of two characters that can only be effective together, creating two builds that support each other.
In this, the player wants to build as much negative lightning resistance as possible with the Monk character, while the Witch character prefers to perform lightning attacks with minions, which then trigger combos between the two characters.
However, he has not yet managed to implement the build of both characters really well, as he admits on Reddit. He does not provide a detailed guide accordingly. Even though his characters do not yet harmonize perfectly, he has managed to get them to level 92 in this setup.
Is the method worth it? While two characters sound like double the damage, loot, and possibilities, the play style is already significantly limited by the control. More complex builds that require many different skills are just as difficult to implement as builds that rely heavily on movement and dodging.
Another problem is the immature co-op mode of Path of Exile 2. While the player himself says he has not experienced a severe, game-breaking bug, he also admits that there have been many issues. Other players even write on Reddit that the co-op mode is currently unplayable.
Path of Exile 2 is still in Early Access and has not yet been completed by the developers. The co-op mode works, but according to users’ statements, it is anything but bug-free.
