What was the ranking based on? If one were to list every terrible or brutal scene from Game of Thrones, it would probably take a while. Murder and other crimes are part of daily life in Westeros.
However, in our list, we are looking for scenes that were especially disturbing to watch. Moments that give you the chills in a bad way and make you want to throw up just thinking about what was shown.

Daenerys and the Horse Heart – One of the most disgusting scenes, even for the actress
Rank 10 of the most uncomfortable scenes is held by Daenerys with the horse heart.
As the newly crowned Khaleesi, Daenerys had to undergo a pretty disgusting ritual in Season 1. To ensure she gives birth to a strong and healthy son, she had to eat a horse heart. Completely raw, just like that.
The thought alone is honestly pretty disgusting. On top of that, actress Emilia Clarke portrayed the whole thing quite convincingly.
Fun fact: According to her own statement (via mirror.co), she didn’t even have to act much, as the fake heart supposedly tasted quite disgusting like bleach and raw noodles. She had to eat around 28 of those hearts during filming, and she often had to throw up.
