In EA FC 24, you can currently create your own strong Future Stars in the Evolutions. However, you need to choose two players from a selection of players on two cards. We explain which youngsters you should choose to get the most out of the upgrades.
Which Evolution is it about? The Future Stars brought the Academy players back into the game in a new edition. In the Evolutions, you can choose two stars for the attack from a pre-selection of Academy cards. At the end, you can expect the following upgrades and improvements:
- Overall rating: +8
- Speed: +7
- Shooting: +6
- Passing: +5
- Dribbling: +6
- Physical: +6
- Playstyle: Lob
- Playstyle+: Power Header
- Playstyle+: Acrobatics
- Special Move: +1*
For attackers, you have nine players available. Below, we provide you with a justified recommendation on which two players we believe you should use for the upgrades.
The 2 best options for the FS-Academy-Evolutions
What criteria did we use for our selection? First and foremost, we looked at how each individual Academy player’s card would look after the complete evolution with the new upgrades. You can do this directly in the game as you can only use a limited number of cards for the Academy Evolutions.

After we had a rough overview with the preview, we checked which player’s upgrades would fit best concerning their qualifications. We will provide a detailed explanation of what we mean by this specifically for the featured cards.
Further criteria were:

- League/nation
Based on this criteria catalog, we opted for the following players.
FS-Academy Forward Option 1: Noah Okafor (AC Milan)
Why Okafor is suitable for the forward evolution: The striker from AC Milan has incredible speed (98) after his evolution. He can also perfectly bring this onto the pitch with the playstyle “Speed.” Even though he only has the acceleration type “Controlled,” the playstyle “Quick Step” helps him reach maximum speed faster.

Okafor combines his speed with a powerful body (97 strength), which gives him an advantage in duels even against many strong defenders. He is also a real weapon in the air. With 99 jumping ability, he can assert himself in aerial duels. Additionally, he boasts a decent height of 1.85 m.
His jumping ability combined with his height allows you to perfectly use his newly gained Playstyles+. Power Header+ and Acrobatics+ help you convert his physical attributes into headed and volley goals.
In addition to these impressive physical attributes, he can also impress with strong finishing and dribbling, as well as solid passing. The playstyle “First Touch” gives him secure ball control after passes. In a 1v1, you can make your opponents look foolish with 5-star skills.
How to make FS-Academy-Okafor even better: To further strengthen Okafor’s shooting and passing, we recommend the Chemistry Style Deadeye. This not only boosts his finishing and shot power but also his vision and short pass. These extra upgrades make the Swiss player a technically gifted target man with assertiveness, strong passing, and ice-cold finishing.
FS-Academy Forward Option 2: Dina Ebimbe (Eintracht Frankfurt)
Why Ebimbe is suitable for the forward evolution: Similar to Okafor, Ebimbe brings strong physical attributes: 95 speed and 90 physical serve as proof. With “Speed,” he can express his pace values in the game. His dribbling stats (91) are also impressive. His shooting (85) and passing (87) stats are more than commendable.
What makes Ebimbe particularly interesting are his solid defensive skills combined with one of the probably best playstyles in defense: “Anticipation” gives you the ability to snatch the ball from the opponent’s foot with a higher success rate in defensive duels.
Combined with his strong offensive values, Ebimbe is not the born, classic striker, but you don’t need one if you conclude our first option, Okafor. Instead, you can deploy the Frenchman in almost any other position, in midfield and even in defense. His alternative positions (RAV, ZM, and RF) also allow for this.
Especially as an attacking fullback in the best formations in EA FC 24, Ebimbe can prove to be a real asset. He can contribute his offensive talents just as much as his defensive skills. Additionally, his height and jumping ability allow him to become a very strong header player, who should have no trouble asserting himself in aerial duels, especially against the usually smaller wingers.
With Power Header+, Ebimbe is also capable of powerfully clearing potential headers. Acrobatics+ ensures some spectacular saves in the form of overhead kicks in the penalty area.
How to make FS-Academy-Ebimbe even better: For Ebimbe, we have two recommendations for you. The more offensive option would be to equip the Frenchman with the Chemistry Style “Engine.” This would give him 99 speed, 91 passing, and 96 dribbling. The more defensive option can be chosen with the Chemistry Style “Powerhouse.” This would lift Ebimbe’s defensive stats to 76 and his passing to 92.
Other strong alternatives for the FS-Academy forwards
Which FS-Academy players are also suitable? If we haven’t fully convinced you with our arguments, we have two more cards that you definitely can’t go wrong with:
Athenea (Real Madrid): Athenea especially impresses with strong dribbling. She is a small, lively player. The Playstyles+ lose their effectiveness due to her height, however. If that doesn’t bother you, Athenea could be a strong alternative, not least because of her 5 stars for “Weak Foot” and special moves.
Melvine Malard (Manchester United): Malard has a similar profile to Athenea. She possesses the best dribbling among all candidates. This is even stronger in-game due to the playstyle “Calm Center”, which allows for closer ball control. But the additional Playstyles+ would also fail to have their effect with Malard.
In the end, you must weigh which cards fit best with your playing style. With our 4 options, you are definitely on the safe side.
