What is happening today in Fortnite? The Update 12.30 will be applied across all platforms today. Fortnite Status announced the patch on Twitter.
Update 10:20 AM: The Update 12.30 is now here. We will show you in the German patch notes what has changed.
This update is hopefully going to be larger and will resolve some bugs as well as bring new content.
Before players can roam on the map, the servers will be taken down.
Fortnite servers will be taken down – when and for how long?
Downtime starts in the morning: The downtime for Update 12.30 will start earlier today. At 7:30 AM local time, you will be able to join a new lobby for the last time. At 8:00 AM, the servers will no longer be available, and Fortnite will be down.
How long will the maintenance take? Based on the experiences of the past weeks and months, the work should be completed by lunchtime at the latest.

When will the patch notes arrive? In recent weeks, no patch notes for the Battle Royale mode of Epic Games have been released.

What new content does Update 12.30 bring?
What new features will there be in the Battle Royale mode? In the announcement from Fortnite Status, there were no hints regarding what the update might bring. However, it is likely that some bugs will be fixed, such as:
- Style variants cannot be selected in the locker
- The automatic pickup of items does not work properly

What does the update bring for the “Save the World” mode? Players from the Save the World mode received a larger patch with the Update 12.10 that made it possible to use cosmetic items from the Battle Royale mode.
What the new update will bring is unfortunately still unclear.
