In Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 is not far away. Just tomorrow until the start. Therefore, we show you everything about leaks, information about the new map, and whether a live event is possible.
When does Season 5 start? So far, Epic Games has not put a timer in the Fortnite lobby, but the Battle Pass reveals more. According to it, Chapter 4 Season 4 ends on Friday, November 3rd at 07:00 AM. So you can assume that Epic has planned a downtime for tomorrow. Additionally, Season 5 could be the shortest season in Fortnite.

What leaks are there for Season 5? Epic Games has not released any official teasers yet, but leaks are making the rounds on x.com (formerly Twitter). According to reliable leakers like Shiina and Hypex, Season 5 will take you back to the OG times. The Chapter 1 map is expected to return in some form and gradually change throughout November.
Players will be able to fight with iconic weapons, while fights are expected to feel generally faster. To support this theory, leakers refer to the many hints from Chapter 4 Season 4. Known items from Chapter 1 will appear on the map at various locations, including the DurrrBurger head sprayed by The Drifter.
However, Epic Games is also giving away iconic items from the past to many content creators in the real world. DrLupo found a giant mug from the Dusty Diner while walking his dog, while CouRageJD found the “TRUCK ‘N’ Oasis” logo in front of his house.
Are there any hints about the Battle Pass? Unfortunately not, a forthcoming crew pack might hint at reskins, as the hybrid skin from Season 8 is getting a reskin in the form of a cyborg ninja (via x.com). It is therefore quite possible that Fortnite will revive the best skins from Chapter 1 as reskins in Season 5, allowing players who missed them back then to still get them.
Will there be a live event? It cannot be said for certain yet. However, it is highly likely that Season 4 will also end without a live event. The references to Chapter 1 are probably the only thing players will see before time travel begins.
Additionally, the jump back to Chapter 1 does not provide a narrative reason to host a large-scale live event like the fight against the Cube Queen back then. However, we only have the option to wait and if a live event does take place, we won’t say no.
