Path of Exile 2 has received an unofficial tool that many players have been looking forward to. Some even go so far as to say that the game is only now truly playable.
What kind of tool is this? We are talking about a Build Simulator for Path of Exile 2, called Path of Building. It does not come from the developer itself, but from the community. There was a similar tool for the first part that allowed players to experiment with different builds.
The advantage is that you don’t have to log into the game specifically, but can combine and test skills, equipment, and items outside of it to see how well a build will work.
This allows you to calculate the damage of a build. The tool is mainly intended for ambitious players who want to get the most out of the complex skill system and the countless combinations of items and equipment.
Because the skill tree can notoriously overwhelm – so it doesn’t hurt to get an overview in advance. The release of the Build Simulator is causing great joy in the community.
What the community has been waiting for
What do the players say? For some parts of the community, the Build Simulator is not just a nice addition. Rather, the release is an important step for these players.
Some even go so far as to say that Path of Exile 2 is only now complete:

However, there is also criticism, at least about the current state of the Build Simulator:
