Many products are discounted during Amazon’s Prime Day, but not everything is worth it. We have picked out the best deals that are truly worthwhile.
The Prime Day is in its final sprint and it is difficult to keep track of all the offers and determine what is sensible and what is not.
In this article, we present four different offers that are still worthwhile for Prime Day. The products were chosen for a reason and are offers that enrich my everyday life and that I personally recommend.

Apple AirTag
With an AirTag, you can attach it to your suitcase, a bag, or your keychain, so you always know where your belongings are. Additionally, you can ping your keychain if you have lost it nearby. Currently, the price per unit is around 26 euros.
The items are located via Apple’s “Find My” network. As an Android user, you cannot use the AirTags, but there are now valid alternatives for Android devices. However, I still find Apple’s tags to be more reliable. The setup is also very straightforward and can be done quickly even with little technical experience.
I have now equipped both my wife’s and my suitcases with an AirTag each. And yes, it really saves nerves to know where the suitcase is and that it will actually be loaded onto the plane at the end. With it, you can even potentially track your luggage to North Korea:
Thermo-Hygrometer
A thermo-hygrometer has been one of the best purchases for my household in recent years. Because I can always see exactly how high the humidity in the room is and when I really need to air out. Depending on the model, you can even connect the hygrometers to Wi-Fi or an app.
I have been using models from ThermoPro for many years and am very satisfied with them. For three pieces, you currently pay around 15 euros on Amazon, which is about 5 euros per hygrometer.
The advantage is also that you do not need a base station or anything similar for the devices. Just insert the battery, hang up the device, and it works. This is very intuitive and straightforward. And to measure the humidity and temperature in the bathroom or bedroom, these units are definitely sufficient.
The only disadvantage: The devices run on button cells, which I have to change regularly.
Amazon Fire TV Stick (4K)
With the Fire TV Stick, you get smart television in the form of a stick that you plug into the back of the TV. The performance is usually significantly better than with older or slower TVs. This allows you to upgrade even older TVs and use them for a few more years. The stick offers numerous streaming programs and channels that you can use through the stick. The practical part is that you can use the Amazon Stick completely without a Prime subscription.
Cost of the stick: Around 20 euros.
The most annoying annoyance: When you start the stick and land on the start interface, you first see Amazon’s ads for current series and products. This is annoying, but as soon as you log in to Netflix and Co., you won’t see it anymore.
Also not to be underestimated: The stick is so bulky that I cannot mount the cover on the back of our TV anymore.
Alternatives would be sticks from Roku and Waipu TV, but these are currently not on sale and therefore significantly more expensive. Here, prices start at around 70 euros.
Xbox Wireless Controller
The popular official Xbox controller is currently on sale and costs around 50 euros. Compared to the Joycons of the Switch or my DualSense, these things are really almost indestructible and they have already witnessed a lot in my everyday life.
The connection via Xbox Wireless or Bluetooth usually works without any issues. However, sometimes we have the problem that a controller disconnects temporarily and then reconnects later. What I miss under Windows is an indicator for the battery status.
In general, there are also other controller alternatives besides the Xbox Wireless Controller, such as the 8Bitdo Ultimate 2, which is currently significantly more expensive at around 70 euros and also not on sale. The same applies to the Razer Wolverine V3, which I have used a lot in everyday life but also costs around 80 euros.
