Small spoiler warning: This article is about a quest in the main story of Vessel of Hatred, the first expansion for Diablo 4. The quest in question is at the end of the campaign, but we won’t reveal any content-related details about the story.
What kind of quest is this? “All Good Things” is a main quest in the campaign of Vessel of Hatred. The goal is to ensure that all four fire bowls are lit.
In Akarat’s tomb, you will eventually enter a room where you encounter four fire bowls. Your task now is to light them all. It sounds simple at first, but there is a small puzzle behind it, because: As soon as you interact with the fire bowls, some will light up, while others go out again.
All Good Things: Quest Solution
This is how you solve the quest: To keep all four fire bowls burning, you should follow a specific order:
- First, light the fire bowl in the bottom left. This will cause three fire bowls to burn. Kill the spirits that attack you so you can continue in peace.
- Next, light the top fire bowl at the locked door that is not burning yet. Now the bowl and the opposite bowl that you lit first are burning.
- Then, light the left fire bowl. Now only one bowl is burning. Deal with the spirits that will spawn next.
- Finally, light the right fire bowl – and thus all three that are currently not burning.
Now all four fire bowls are burning. Kill the spirits that attack you and you can make your way to your new objective: the burial chamber.
