In Path of Exile a fresh event is coming soon, which will replace the 19 subclasses with others. Now the developers are presenting the first two.
What kind of event is it? About 7 months have passed in Path of Exile without a new content update. The reason for this is that the developers of the first part had to help with the development of Path of Exile 2. This was not supposed to happen, as GGG’s management had promised that the ARPGs would be developed independently of each other.
However, the promise was broken and a significant shitstorm from the community followed. The shitstorm was so large that the developers changed their course. Amidst the loud protest, they backtracked and immediately announced a new event league. The devs want to incorporate features that they previously always dismissed as “too crazy” from the board.
Among other things, there will be 19 new subclasses, of which two were presented in a new announcement.

The Harbinger
What can the Harbinger do? The Harbinger, roughly translated as “forerunner” or “harbinger of doom,” is a new subclass for the Witch in Path of Exile. The Harbinger manipulates the boundaries of reality, space, and time.
They can cast time magic and summon allies from their home world who help them in battle. Additionally, the Witch transforms into the Harbinger and takes on a blue form along with the ability to fly. The exact abilities can be read in this image from the developers (via Pathofexile.com):
The Gambler
What does the Gambler do? The Gambler, roughly translated as “gamer” or “gambler,” is a new subclass for the Duelist in Path of Exile. Like in real gambling, the Gambler is all about having luck.
Risk-tolerant players can avoid a lot of damage and deal damage with luck. However, those who have bad luck take a lot of damage and quickly lose all health points. The exact abilities can be read in this image from the developers (via Pathofexile.com):
What new information is there? The developers of Path of Exile have named the new event league. It is to be called Legacy of Phrecia, after Emperor Izaro Phrecius. The community on Reddit does not find the name very successful and renames the league “Bizaro League.”
The developers have additionally started a poll and are letting you decide on Pathofexile.com which subclass you want to learn about next. Currently, “Disciple of the Trialmaster” is leading with about 55% of the votes.
