In Destiny brings Xur an exotic weapon every week. These are the 5 exotics that Guardians desire the most from him in “Rise of Iron”.
Recently, the administrator of the fan site “Where is Xur” spoke up on Reddit. He has lists of weapons from Year 1, 2, and 3 that Guardians desired the most from Xur – and still desire. He now wants to present these to the community.
On his site, there is a feature called “Guardian Wishlist”. Here, users can vote on which exotic they particularly desire in the respective week. This function was introduced in mid-March 2015, and since then over 2.2 million Guardians have cast their votes.
He has now evaluated this data and created meaningful lists of the most sought-after Xur weapons.
Not surprisingly, the two overpowered weapons in Year 1 were extremely sought after and outperformed the others significantly. Here is the “Year 1” list:
- Gjallarhorn – 101,961 votes, 19.74% of total votes in Year 1, in 2014/2015
- Icebreaker – 90,661 (17.55%)
- Fatebringer – 53,922 (10.44%)
- The Last Word – 46,658 (9.03%)
- Red Death – 37,639 (7.29%)
- SUROS Regime – 30,394 (5.88%)
- The 4th Horseman – 24,590 (4.76%)
- No Land Beyond – 23,018 (4.46%)
- Monte Carlo – 22,075 (4.27%)
- MIDA Multi-Tool – 13,747 (2.66%)
And these are the most sought-after exotic Xur weapons in Year 2, 2015/2016. Three weapons were particularly desired:
- The Last Word – 171,396 votes and 12.81% of total votes in Year 2
- Zhalo Supercell – 163,712 (12.24%)
- Red Death – 142,471 (10.65%)
- Bad Karma – 79,093 (5.91%)
- SUROS Regime – 73,696 (5.51%)
- Telesto – 71,926 (5.38%)
- No Land Beyond – 70,545 (5.27%)
- Fatebringer – 66,400 (4.96%)
- MIDA Multi-Tool – 63,378 (4.74%)
- Monte Carlo – 53,362 (3.99%)
In the current Year 3 (2016/2017), there are five weapons that dominate the top spots, having about twice as many votes as the next ranked weapons. One weapon stands out among them all.
