What does the further roadmap for Corepunk look like? Since the third alpha test has gone well enough, the developers plan to launch the early access of the MMORPG in 2024:
- Early access starts on November 26, 2024
- Alpha test 4 runs from August 6, 2024 to September 6, 2024
How long the early access phase will last is unclear. However, it is certain that there will be European servers and the game will only support the English language.
What kind of game is Corepunk? Corepunk is a “top-down MMORPG” with an open world. Visually and also in terms of controls, it resembles League of Legends. At the same time, it is a classic MMORPG that, according to the developers, should be comparable in difficulty to WoW Classic.
In the game, you can expect six classes with a total of 18 different specializations – including unusual archetypes like bombers – as well as dungeons and raids that are intended to be comparable to Mythic (the highest difficulty level in WoW). Additionally, there are PvE contents in the open world, which is equipped with a fog of war that conceals content outside the field of vision.
You can learn various crafting professions, with each character only able to master one perfectly. Moreover, the best recipes are hidden, so you should know the players on your server who master the respective profession best.
There will also be PvP in certain areas of the open world and in arenas. 1v1 and 2v2 deathmatch arenas and leaderboards are planned. Additionally, there is an exciting PvP area that was tested in July: New MMORPG is a mix of WoW and League of Legends – Starts testing a new PvP area in July
