The company “Dell Technologies” manufactures a whole range of products related to computers. They have now announced that in the future, every computer will contain AI. Even if one may not yet know that they want it.

Dell explained that the industry is on the brink of a major renewal cycle, and what customers really want is an AI PC, even if they don’t yet know it. This was stated in a conversation with theregister.com. The company “Dell Technologies” develops PCs, workstations, notebooks, storage systems, monitors, servers, printers, as well as consumer electronics and smartphones.
Meghana Patwardhan, Dell’s representative for commercial PCs and software, explained that the immediate future will consist of two worlds – one with AI hardware and one without: “In the long term, every PC will be an AI PC.”
Additionally, the company stated that the AI features also promise energy efficiency and future-proofing. Dell explained how much more efficient the background blur is during video calls when AI hardware is running compared to when it is not.

Why is this so interesting for manufacturers? The sales of computers and other devices have been continuously declining for years, leading to shrinking profits for large companies.
