In Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, events are held regularly where you can earn loot. The current Terminator event is causing frustration – as players have to unlock rewards that they do not want at all.
What kind of event is this? Currently, the “The Terminator” event is running in CoD: Black Ops 6. In this event, players must collect skulls to unlock rewards. The skulls drop when you get kills. It doesn’t matter whether this happens in multiplayer, in Warzone, or in zombie mode. In Warzone, collecting skulls is additionally done by opening supply boxes.
In total, there are 13 rewards that you can receive. One of them is a blueprint for the PP-919, also known as Bison. To get the weapon, you first need to unlock all previous rewards – and that is exactly what annoys many players.
What is causing frustration? In the Terminator event in Season 2 of Black Ops 6, you can collect skulls and “buy” various rewards with them. These include XP tokens, weapon charms, loading screens, and an attachment. Most rewards can be used in both Black Ops 6 and Warzone – but two of them are restricted to a specific mode. Nevertheless, you have to unlock all of them if you want to get the weapon blueprint.
On Reddit, a player complains that he has to unlock the perk “Reactive Armor”, even though it only works in Warzone – and he doesn’t even play that mode. To do this, he has to collect 50 skulls and says: “Total waste of time.”
In addition to the perk, there is also the scorestreak “War Machine” as a reward, which can only be used in the multiplayer of Black Ops 6. Anyone wanting to unlock it needs to invest 100 skulls.
What do other players say about it? The comments under the post show that he is not alone in his frustration. Several players criticize the reward system of the event. At the same time, there are also some tips on how to make the best of it:
- djml9 comments: “As an MP player, I wish every kill would drop a skull. […] Half the time I completely forget about the event until I finally see one after three minutes in the match. Then I have to be lucky enough to reach it without dying. I maybe get four per match and only see a total of five to six.”
- Auwtsnae notes: “I got tired of being killed every time I tried to collect a skull, so I played zombies and collected 110 without much effort – and leveled a sniper rifle in the process.”
- EthicalViolator writes: “I collected all skulls quite quickly in zombies. In multiplayer, the skulls are miles away, and it’s a half mission just to collect them.”
Several players recommend in the comments to farm skulls in zombie mode.
