The roadmap for Season 6 of Warzone and Cold War is included here:
What happens to the map in Warzone – Season 6
What will change in Verdansk? Season 6 of 2021 will be the last in which you can experience Verdansk in its current form. The map adjustments are quite extensive. These are the biggest changes since the switch to Verdansk ’84 in April 2020.
Explosions create a path of destruction from the stadium through the entire “Downtown” area:
In addition to the map adjustments, a new/old Gulag is coming back. The showers from the early days of Warzone are returning, but the many duels in the basement have apparently taken their toll on the area.
Season 6 again with Battle Pass – Mason as Operator
What does the Battle Pass bring? There will be a Battle Pass with 100 tiers for 1,000 CoD Points again.
There is a free path in the Battle Pass that all players have access to. In exchange for points and playtime, you can unlock some items from the pass for free. If you already know that you will be playing more CoD in Season 6, then the premium pass is worth it. It offers more than 100 items to unlock throughout the season.
Overall, you can earn progress for the pass in three CoDs: CoD MW, Cold War, and Warzone share the Battle Pass. However, the contents are only available for Warzone and Cold War.
This is included in the Battle Pass: The Warzone & Cold War Battle Pass for Season 6 will contain 100 tiers. It costs 1,000 CoD Points (about 10 Euros). You will receive the new operator at launch. 2 new weapons to unlock are included – which ones they are has not been officially announced yet.
In addition, there are new blueprints for weapons. Furthermore, if you complete all tiers, you can earn 1,300 CoD Points. So, you’ll get more money back than you invested.
In addition, there are various goodies:
- Legendary rewards upon completion of the pass
- Many operator skins with missions for even more skins
- Cosmetics like calling cards, emblems, sprays, and charms
- Vehicle items like battle songs or skins
- XP tokens for an experience points boost
- 10% experience boost on the Battle Pass
A complete overview of the specific contents of the Battle Pass can be found here. If you buy the “Battle Pass” bundle for 2,400 CoD Points, you will start directly with 20 tiers and receive a dark collection of panda skins for the operator Bulldozer:
Who is the poster boy / poster girl of Season 6? The trailer features the legendary “Black Ops” operator Alexander Mason as the showcase operator for Season 6. If you purchase the Battle Pass, you will get the operator with the skin “Alaska” immediately.
This should also advance the story about brainwashing and reversed double agents. See the crazy red doors or the recently launched event with the numbers. Find out here if the Battle Pass is worth it for you:
Warzone: New Weapons in Season 6
Which weapons are coming specifically? A total of five new weapons are coming into play in Season 6, and 3 of them right at launch:
- .410 Ironhide – Shotgun: At launch, Battle Pass Tier 15
- Grav – Assault Rifle: At launch, Battle Pass Tier 31
- LAPA – submachine gun: Coming with the event on October 19th
- Combat Axe – Melee: At launch, available as a bundle or through a challenge
- Sickle and Hammer – Melee: Coming later in Season 6
Halloween Event and Transition to Pacific Map in Season 6?
On October 19th, the Halloween event “The Haunting” starts in Cold War and Warzone. How exactly the event will unfold this year is not yet known. But there will most likely be another batch of creepy cosmetics that you can unlock in both games.
Leaks are also talking about a kind of reveal event in Warzone for the zombie mode of Vanguard. However, there is currently no further information regarding this.
What is already certain is: there will be licensed horror movie skins during the event. “Ghostface” from the Scream series is definitely coming, and “Donnie Drako” is part of the speculation regarding which skin could come next. Check here if you want to know how the event went last year.
At the end of the season, there might be an event that initiates the transition from Verdansk to the Pacific map. It is supposed to be called “To the Pacific”. In it, you should collect postcards from the Pacific in a kind of scavenger hunt. However, there is currently no official confirmation for a Pacific event.
