Our editorial team has been busy in the content mines for several weeks preparing something for you. With our Grind Fest, we are diving deep into MMORPGs. Here we offer even more than our daily coverage of the genre.

What to expect
The Grind Fest is aimed at everyone who shares our fascination for MMOs. No matter where you currently stand. Perhaps you used to spend nights and days in WoW during your studies and still fondly remember it. Or you are completely hooked on the genre to this day, trying out every new MMO that appears.
It may also be that you find the stories of the genre simply fascinating – because in such a social genre, there are countless exciting experiences.
We have strong articles
I’m currently looking through our topic plan for the Grind Fest and I am personally especially looking forward to the many developers who have answered questions about the genre for us. We have addressed why it seems seemingly impossible today to successfully launch a genre from the West, and we have gathered many expert opinions.
I’m also very eager to hear your voices! We asked you which upcoming MMORPG you are most excited about and have evaluated it. If a cool tier list doesn’t emerge from this, then I don’t know either!
In addition, there will also be special anecdotes and analyses from the MeinMMO editorial team. It will be about lifelong friendships, the perfect MMORPG mouse, alternatives to famous MMOs, or what other games can learn from the most beautiful genre in the world.

From the MeinMMO editorial team, you will meet our MMORPG expert Karsten in the stream, who has spent decades with the genre and plans to do so for many more decades. I myself, Editor-in-Chief Leya, will also be there to discuss my market assessments. Our Managing Editor Sophia passionately pursues her dragoon in Final Fantasy XIV and annually pilgrimages to the Dragon Fest to reenact MMORPGs in real life.
As a special guest, we also have Entenburg, who discusses, plays, and analyzes MMORPGs on his YouTube channel.
Who will moderate the talks from the GameStar team is not yet decided at the time of this article. But I guarantee you: They are all fantastic people!
Why are we doing this?
In fact, we already report daily on MMORPGs, providing you with news, analyses, interviews, and assessments of individual games or the genre. But that is not enough for us!
I know that some of you would wish for a “purist MMORPG site.” However, we could not survive like that. A wider variety of topics even helps us to finance more reporting on MMORPGs.
On the other hand, we also see that the genre has evolved over the years. It’s not so easy to squeeze an MMO into a norm-shaped box.
The MMORPG is still one of the most important topics and genres on our site. With Karsten, we have hired an experienced full-time editor to ensure daily, high-quality reporting.
Such themed weeks give us the opportunity to do a little more and celebrate the genre as an event. Here we then leave the news business behind and think about what timeless articles would be nice or which discussions are generally exciting.
