At the same time, this was also the grand finale of his IRL streaming tour, where he livestreamed himself going to the World Cup games. IShowSpeed became aware of the surrealism of the moment when he stood in front of his camera again after the game and his performance and addressed his community:

The controversial past of IShowSpeed: IShowSpeed has come a long way in his 4 years as a streamer. His career really took off in 2021, when a viewer donated him 1.60 euros and asked who his favorite football player was. IShowSpeed replied: “Cristan [sic!] Ronaldo. SUI!” (Source: YouTube). The funny pronunciation of the name made the streamer a meme with the clip.
From then on, IShowSpeed was known for his rebellious and controversial style. In his streams, the next thrill always seemed to be sought after, and controversy followed controversy. For example, he was banned for a sexist outburst in the game Valorant or he barked at a boy in Fortnite.
Eventually, Twitch banned him from the platform, which is why he switched to YouTube. However, he is now unbanned again.
Finally, IShowSpeed established himself with a somewhat calmer style and his IRL streams. In them, he traveled through different countries and was live the whole time.
