has been active on YouTube and Twitch for almost 20 years in total. Now he announces that he will only create content until May 2026 and then end his career. The reason: He wants to get to know himself.
Why is ChilledChaos ending his career? Content creator ChilledChaos has been active on YouTube and Twitch for a total of 18 years. Now, at just 34 years old, he wants to withdraw from both platforms. In his farewell video on YouTube, he says that he wants to find out who he is behind the camera.
He himself, Anthony, and his YouTube persona ChilledChaos have merged over the years, and he wants to get to know his identity and interests outside of YouTube and Twitch. Furthermore, he does not want to define his success in life by numbers on the two platforms, but rather by his personal development.
To his community, he says: And just to be clear – as all parents say to their divorced children: ‘It’s not your fault.’ […] I have been blessed with such a great community.

ChilledChaos is one of the pioneers on YouTube. He published his first video on his channel in 2009 (Source: YouTube). On his YouTube channel, he has reached over 1.33 million subscribers, and on Twitch, over 466,000 people follow him.

What does ChilledChaos have planned? For May 2026, viewers of ChilledChaos will still receive regular content from him. After that, it’s over. At the end of May, from the 29th to the 31st, ChilledChaos will hold a 3-day farewell streaming event. On May 31, 2026, his last stream will definitely take place.
To ensure that his community still has a place to gather, ChilledChaos is planning a project where former viewers can watch his content around the clock, similar to a 24/7 TV channel.
However, his community does not have to say goodbye to ChilledChaos entirely. He plans to continue to participate as a viewer in the future. He will still be present in Discords for chatting. In the end, ChilledChaos thanks his community and the colleagues and friends who have been with him throughout his career.
That content creators completely end their careers is quite rare, but many take breaks.
