Last Epoch is considered a successful alternative to Diablo 4. Now the action RPG has added the German language and a new class.
What kind of game is this?
- Last Epoch is a “hack & slash” action RPG from the American developer studio Eleventh Hour Games and is available on Steam.

At gamescom 2023, the developers of the action RPG revealed that Last Epoch will receive a 16th class in September, which was added to the game today, September 7. The update 0.9.2 is called “Runes of Power” and also added the localization in the German language.

Update brings new class and German language
What is this class? The new class of Last Epoch is called “Runemaster” and is an extension of the mage base class.
The Runemaster has access to skills from the three elements of fire, lightning, and ice. When executing a skill, it leaves a round of the respective element above you. In total, you can stack three elemental runes.
It is up to you how to combine the runes and in what order to use them. Depending on the order, a different ability emerges. The combination of ice, ice, and fire has a different effect than fire, fire, and ice.
What does the new localization include? With patch 0.9.2, Last Epoch also brings German language support. In general, the game text is now available in German and can be changed in the gameplay settings under Interface.
Until recently, the action RPG was only playable in English. As of today, besides German and English, Polish, French, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, Korean, and Chinese are also available.
