What kind of rings are we talking about? In Path of Exile 2, it is often not just the type of ring that determines its value. Rather, it comes down to the randomly generated attributes that can appear on these specific rings. However, only certain types of rings offer the full potential when equipped with the right mods. Other rings, even if they have comparable stats, are usually significantly less valuable.
Why are the right attributes so crucial? In PoE 2, most rings appear with random values. Only with the appropriate attributes does an ordinary item become powerful. Especially in the endgame, it is no longer enough to equip items with just the right base values. The additional attributes also need to be right.

These rings are valuable
Which rings should you pick up? In Path of Exile 2, you will be overwhelmed with loot in certain areas. However, you should always pick up the following rings to check their values.
- Breach Ring
- Increases maximum quality by a certain percentage.
- Gold Ring
- Increases the rarity of found items by 6–15 %
- Pearl Ring
- Increases casting speed by 7–10 %
- Prismatic Ring
- Increases all elemental resistances by 7–10 %
- Amethyst Ring
- Increases chaos resistance by 7–13 %
- Topaz Ring
- Increases lightning resistance by 20–30 %
- Sapphire Ring
- Increases cold resistance by 20–30 %

What are the right values? The best values on the rings are divided into values for caster builds and values for other attackers. Rings that are suitable for casters have at least one of the following values to be truly valuable:
- Maximum mana: 150–189
- Increased casting speed: 17–24 %
- Increased lightning or general elemental damage: 23–30 %
- Increased intelligence: 25–33
- Elemental resistances fire, cold, lightning: 31–45 %
Even one of these values on one of the aforementioned ring types can be valuable. If you find a ring that combines two of these stats, that is even better.
Relevant attributes for attacker builds
In builds that primarily rely on physical or hybrid damage, life and damage values are in the forefront:
- Maximum life: 85–119
- Increased physical damage: 14–32 %
- Increased cold damage: 16–37 %
- Increased lightning damage: 31–71 %
- Attribute values strength, dexterity, intelligence: 25–33
- Elemental resistances fire, cold, lightning: 31–45 %
- Chaos resistance: 20–27 %
Again, one correct attribute is good, but multiple stats make your ring truly valuable.
Additional valuable attributes
Besides the build-specific values, other attributes can significantly increase the value of a ring:
- Increased rarity of found items: 21–32 %
- All elemental resistances: 12–16 %
- Increased mana regeneration: 50–69 %
In Path of Exile 2, it is not the ring itself that counts, but the combination of ring type and the attributes present on it. Only the mentioned types of rings have the full potential to significantly improve your build with the right mods and are therefore valuable.
